Join the Punk Revolution!
As y'all well know, we have been helping (or trying to help!) Porno Para Ricardo to finish their new record...
Now they are on Pandora the widely listened to internet radio station with a college audience, and we have a strong wish of being able to put them on iTunes as well.
How can you help the band?
These are a few tips:
1- Visit the band page buy the CDs and learn how about other ways of helping to get some gear the band needs.
2- Give their music to coffee shops and stores to play it, partner with the owners to sell a couple of their CDs here and there. I've done it and y'all be very surprised on how the non-Cuban non-Spanish speaking public react. I heard people comparing them to the Ramones, The Clash, Rage Against the Machine, and the Sex Pistols (and I say, yeah, but with the right kind of politics, just like the Ramones!)
Remember that music is done "with a little help from my friends" as "Billy Shears" sang in it....

Check out last.fm, too. There's already a page for PPR there due to listeners "scrobbling."
And how about a MySpace page for PPR?
Julio, some fans set up a page for the band on MySpace. But well, since they cannot access the page from Cuba is kind of an homage from the part of their fans....
Good to see that they have made it to last.fm!
We are trying to keep a bunch of updates on the Black Sheep -by the way, great tune you belted out as a cover!- and also on the band's page.
