The loud sound of silence.
Where are our flamboyant three name politicos from the Hill?
Where are the co-president of the republican party, the Cuban American National Foundation, the secretary of commerce, and the head of immigration, plus all the visible Cuban talking-heads, sports people, celebrities, so called and self appointed community leaders, religious figures, and so on and so forth, that they are so silent about that offensive cartoon by Pat Oliphant?
At least all the political honchos receive the Washington Post, and still, they put their heads in the sand or up their butts, depending on the days.
Just to let you know, Mr. Oliphant has been called a racist before, he's got some beef with The Asian Association of Journalists, and with some Muslim organization for his offensive cartoons.
Do I see a pattern? Hell, yes.
Do I hear much silence?
That too.
But you don't need them to speak for you....

it's so quiet is deafening, where indeed are they?
doing what they do best: nothing!
Excellent observation! The politicos, including CANF, the Diaz Ballarts and Ros Lehtinen see not one camera and microphone buzzard hovering over the bigoted cartoon by Mr. Oliphant. Therefore, to their megalomaniacal brain, no appearance is warranted. Disgusting!

Omar, welcome to our comments' section!
No, they won't raise a funk about this cartoon. They are very confortable in silence. As I say, then they will take credit even for the illness of kasstro, but in the meantime they do NOTHING!
