musical chairs, raul style
it's play time in Havana.
Our sources, and independently the sources of a friend of ours, a very sharp blogger, all confirm that there's some game at play in Havana that rivals the craze of the sudoku.
We've gotten word that the non-numbered room where fidel kasstro is has been virtually "relocated" several times. Not a single one of his visitors has gone to the "same" room to see him.
It's very simple. The number is constantly changed so visitors can't convey reliable information to people who are less than friendly to kasstro. Let's say they don't want you to show up and step on that oxygen tube or cut off the IV drip.
They have moved the dictator a couple of times too.
They have changed the identification of the ward where he is a couple of times, too.
If you now some math, you will realize that this low-tech musical chair game will give an analyst a headache.
1- One can't know for sure if he has been moved or not.
2- There are few factors that will produce a good amount of possible combinations as per his location. For example: if he was changed rooms in a ward the possibilities to determine his location are as many as rooms are in the ward. If you're told that he was moved and he wasn't and you don't know how many rooms are in the ward that makes it for a little bit more complicated mathematical problem, that you eventually will be able to solve as long as you can figure out how many "real rooms" are in the ward. It will become a "tridimensional puzzle" when you add more wards, fictitious or not, or more floors, fictitious or not.
3- Once can't know for sure if he is on a bed or in a morgue drawer.
So we have one binary answer, a multiple progression of locations, afecting the previous binary answer, plus another binary posibility of life and death that works in total independence of the aforementioned combination.
As I said before, the name of the game is distraction.
They figured out that the majority of people is obsessed, rightfully so, with the death of their tormentor, so their are using the emotional part of this as a source of confusion, generating a smoke screen behind which they are working on their designs to create a post communist Cuba that will be very interesting for many national and international powerbrokers. The people of Cuba? Well, you now the answer. They are not even part of the game. They will be sold, bought, and used, one more time. How to avoid that? By denouncing all that's happening behind closed doors in the power circles of Havana.
