KaSStro's NEW Man; Hungry and dangerous

Israeli tourist murdered in Cuba

Victim robbed at knifepoint, stabbed to death in Havana; his body to be returned to Israel via Canada, as Israel does not have diplomatic relations with Cuba:
By Roee Nahmias

An Israeli tourist was murdered in Cuba Sunday while on vacation with his wife.
Initial details from the Foreign Ministry in Jerusalem indicate that the man was stabbed to death a short time after leaving his hotel in Havana.

Local police said the couple left the hotel when they were attacked by about eight robbers. The couple was forcefully separated and the man was taken into an alley where he was robbed and stabbed to death.

It is not yet known whether the man was killed because he attempted to resist the criminals.

According to the Foreign Ministry, his body is to be returned to Israel via Canada, as Israel does not have diplomatic relations with Cuba.

Many Israelis have "discovered" Cuba as an ideal vacation spot in recent years. The communist country, headed by Fidel Castro, provides tourists with a charming holiday, but it also has a high rate of poverty and crime. NO?? REALLY??

(Of course this is just another jew lie to "discredit" the Communist paradise)

Unfortunately BLOGGER doesn’t tag REALLY important posts and leaves them in a position of prominence, so to accommodate those requesting to see the photographic documentation of Wilma’s destruction in La Habana, here is a page with links to all the individuals posts.

A Family Letter

The letter below was written to one of my relatives after we engaged in a battle of ideals regarding the recent Wilma destruction in La Habana. In her 46 year indoctrination she still feels that El Sumo Hijo de Puta can do no wrong, that everything that s done in Kuba is for the benefit of the people, that the USA should learn from THEM how to deal with natural disasters and how to “protect” the population.

In my last letter to her I questioned the fact that no one had been killed in the hurricane since it was documented that 3 Canadian tourists had indeed been killed , she responded with the fact that it was a lie , perpetrated to discredit the “Revolución” . She also proudly informed me that La Habana was back to normal 2 days after the flooding. This fact has resulted to be a TOTAL and unrelenting load of bullshit since as of last night at 9PM ALL the tunnels in La Habana remained flooded.

This blindness and sense of omnipotence that KaSStro has instilled in some of the most rabid ñangaras in Kuba, will always be the major stumbling block to any peaceful solution in the Cuban crisis. As we have the extremists on this side , we have them there , and THAT kind will only understand one thing, a bullet in the head.

This I say without feeling a bit of anguish by advocating that someone in my family deserves to be executed for defending that which is indefensible. For ignoring the suffering of 12 million people. For ignoring the needs , the education , the well being of her own children and as a sheep to be slaughter being stupid enough to swallow 47 years of lies , deceit, hunger, repression and STILL not only apologize, but blatantly lie in order to defend their MAXIMUM LEADER.

The letter was originally in Spanish, but I think an English translation would be more appropriate in this forum.

Dear G.

It hurts me that after all this time you and I are still debating the benefits of the system of government you have chosen to embrace. It hurts me doubly because in me , in your own flesh and blood you have seen how all the propaganda you have been fed against the USA is nothing but that, PROPAGANDA. It hurts me because your own son has been victim to the barbarism that is the Castro government, the fact that your son, because of his superior intellect, his desire for knowledge his thirst of history his digging into the reality that was the deceit of the “Revolución” is now a pariah within the system that you so vociferously defend.

Imagine the triumphs of your son in a country like the USA. Put him in my place trace his life on the pattern of MY life in this country. My life is not a carefully plotted story of propaganda but the real story of a boy who arrived in a foreign country without knowing where his next meal was going to come from or where he was going to sleep next.

You pride yourself on your achievements, but yet half your life is spent “resolviendo”, your husband stealing this and that trinket from work so you can have a couple of eggs on the table.

You pride yourself of your free health care and yet you ask me for $50.00 so your mother can have the proper antibiotic to cure a lung infection.

Hypocrisy does not begin to describe your duality of conviction.

You pride yourself of your “civil defense” system but you are not allowed to read a history book that will teach you how that civil defense system was first perpetrated on a nation and for what purpose. The purpose was one of REPRESSION and not of welfare.

When you are forced to evacuate your home leaving behind the few things you do own and the refrigerator that *I* had to buy for you , you are nothing but cattle , you are a slave without the right of dissent . Your free will is non existent. You are a prisoner and your prison bars are that ocean that surrounds your island.

Let me show you the contrast of our ways of life.

You stayed behind, within the midst of what was going to be YOUR utopian society. I left. At 14 years old, without a clear destination, without a set course for a future.

I left because my parents realized that your Utopian dream was nothing but a historical rehash of Nazi Germany and Stalinist Russia.

You had everything and I had nothing. You had the house where you were born , your family , your language . I was alone and 35 years later, look at the differences in our lives.

I live in a country where education is not free, but I received a full education and never paid a cent for it

I have not gone hungry a day in my life and yet I never had to steal anything to achieve this or had to depend on a ration card to buy some maggot infected rice.

I have never been sent to jail for expressing an opinion or wearing the wrong type of clothing or the wrong length of hair.

I live in a country where medical care is not free but I have never lacked medical attention.

I live in a country where medicine is not free but I never lacked the best medicine I needed to cure an ailment.

I live in a country where your system of government claims there is no equality , yet I arrived in this country as a refugee , received a free education and never not once did I have to defend myself against any discriminatory practices.

I live in a country were my teachers were Black, White, Asian, Hispanics and not once was I harassed because of my accent or the vowel at the end of my surname.

I learned from all of those who camme before me. Their cultures, and their wisdom. I learned tolerance and different points of view. We were able to open a news paper and discuss the good and the bad of the administration that we had elected. We did this without fear of reprisals.

I lived in a country that was torn by the Vietnam War and yet there was no need for a Comité De Defensa del Gobierno to snitch on those who were pro or against the war. ALL news were frontpage news. The good and the bad.

I live in a country were our fatalities of war are more readily disclosed than our victories.

I live in a country where our military interventions are not hidden from the public, where our citicenz do not go hungry because we decide to intervene or impose our ideology in a country like Angola.

I live in a country were our leaders do not force hundreds of thousands of people to listen to 8 hours harangues, under 100 degree heat exhorting the virtues of a system whose only virtue is the fact that they can force hundreds of thousands of people to listen to their lies.

I live in a country were dissent, or disrespect to the elected officials of the government does not get your ass in jail.

I live in a country where people do not jump on inner tubes and risk their lives fleeing that which you so adamantly defend. We effect change by voting not by fleeing.

I live in a country where the front page of the New York Times will call the president of the country by whatever name they feel appropriate and there will be no reprisals.

I live in a country that has afforded me the ability to travel to every continent in the world and not ONCE have I had to pay the USA a cent for the right to see and experience other cultures. Nor have had I the need to request a permission to leave.

I live in a country where I have never seen a robbery nor have I been victim of a crime.

I live in a country where at 27 years of age I owned my own business. I paid my taxes and I supported 15 employees.

I live in a country where without stealing, lying, or cheating I had a net worth of 5 million dollars on 9/11/2001.

I live in a country where after that fateful day I lost it all but was able to pick myself up and start a new with the full support , economic moral and humane of my government.

I live in a country were we send billions of dollars of aid to countries in need and do not feel the need to disclose why we spent the money and how we spent the money. We do so quietly modestly and without rhetorical fanfare.

I live in a country which in spite of the vitriolic, spiteful, sinister harangues of YOUR leader, is willing to quietly come to your aid in your time of trouble.

I live in a country were my leader doesn’t have a hidden bank account with 3.9 billion dollars in Switzerland which is cause of a multinational investigation into drug & white slavery trafficking.

And that is just some of our differences, why I, even though taking a leap into the void at 14 years of age AM successful, spiritually, materially and emotionally and YOU are full of hate , envy and despair. Why you child hates you because of your intransigence, blindness and hypocrisy and your husband must put his job at risk every day by stealing toilet paper from his place of work.

You and I will never see eye to eye, because to be totally fair one of us has chosen to keep their eyes tightly shut and has embraced hypocresy and deceit as a way of life.

Hey, KillCastro es mejor que el Granma

Hey! KillCastro is better than the Granma, with all the news that the Granma doesn't print!

For your enjoyment, this was a two pronged attack on the buttocks of el Barbudo brought to you by KillCastro and Babalu.

Alimañas

The rat that you see with the bearded roach in this picture is Silvio Rodriguez, a Cuban singer who is a traitor to his generation and to many Cubans that once saw in him a contestatary voice. My friends from my youthful days know that I always despised this guy, and several events in his live proved me right. I wish I were wrong, but I wasn't that lucky. Silvio Rodriguez became a personal friend of the tyrant. He got a few decorations from no other branch of the Cuban repressive forces than the G2. They somehow had to recognize that he was a big snitch (chivato) at all times. Since the commies love decorations so much, well, they pinned a couple of tin roundels to his chest. He is instrumental in keeping the Cuban musical community under control. Good thing the rockers also despise him enormously, and that he is afraid of them.
This is the guy kagasstro sent to Argentina to march with that lard head of Maradona and Cindy Sheenan. They will be joined in the march by El Mico Putumayo Chavez himself. They will represent kagasstro in an anti American march, carrying on the marching orders issued by the tyrant. A full fledged Bush bashing event in a country that has displaced Mexico in becoming the bedrock of anti Americanism in the Americas. Too bad that Ms. Sheenan doesn't give a shit about the mothers of the Cuban soldiers who were drafted (her son was a volunteer in a volunteer Army) and sent to Angola. Ms. Sheenan, Rodriguez and Maradona don't give a shit about the suffering of Cubans, the mothers of the Cubans who are in jail or the ones who day by day encounter death in the seas escaping the nightmare. Much less Chavez. They will bash Bush all they want, but they are willing to represent the tyrant and his houseboy in Buenos Aires. Nice move. Aren't there any laws in Argentina to prevent foreigners from instigating disturbs on national soil? The traditionally nationalistic Argentinians should have something in the books to keep this from happening, but their fascio-communist president Kirchner is an accomplice in this show.
What they want to do is to transfer the popularity Rodriguez and Maradona have in Latin America onto Ms. Sheenan, to bring her back to the States as a continental icon. This is communist propaganda's first homework in any low rated correspondence course, that's not even communist propaganda one o one.
We should be looking at the money trail in all of this... Now that kagasstro has 3.9 billion frozen in the USB investigation, where the heck is he getting the money to finance this march? Is there any money from Moveon.org or other pro-terrorist organizations being employed in the financing of this stunt? The American goverment should be looking at this... some money is surely being transfered from the U.S. to Buenos Aires or Havana to grease the tracks for this show. Arab money, maybe? Venezuelan money? Then you look at the disasters in Havana and you understand why there's no money to solve any problem in that island. Every penny is used in efforts to destabilize Latin America and to create internal problems in the States.
And as a colophon: would you be surprised if cagasstro himself shows up for the march? I wouldn't be surprised at all.... The only reason he has not to go to Argentina is the presence of Bush, a person who he deeply fears. He won't be arrested in Argentina, which is the mother nation of the bloodiest tyrannies in Latin America. How's that the Argentinians consider kagasstro any different from their local bred of tyrants is beyond me. Now, if he doesn't go, he will sent his voodoo dolls in his place. If he goes, maybe we should do something to keep him out of Cuba forever. He would make a good vicepresident of Argentina, till in the middle of a bloody coup he steals the presidence.
Oh, what's that word in the title, alimañas? It's Spanish for vermin.

A comandante kisser is not fit to portrait 9/11.

This can't be good: Oliver Stone is shooting a movie about 9/11 in NYC and NJ.
For all of us who were here and survived the horror this is like spitting in our faces, and spitting on our faces twice if we happen to be proud Americans and proud Cubans.
Why? Well, Mr Stone(d) happens to be a personal chummy buddy with kagasstro, one of the biggest sponsors of terrorism on the face of Earth and in the whole history of the world. I don't use the world civilized here, because kagasstro civilized is not. Not that Stone(d)shows much civilization either in his drug fueled romps and in his infatuation with the biggest monster of the second half of the twentieth century, fidel kagasstro. If you love fidel kagasstro, you can't love America, and anything that you produce will be tainted with blood from the hands of kagasstro and shit from his brains and yours.
So now the "artiste" promises that the twin towers won't fall again. And that he would not coat Downtown Manhattan streets with ash and debris. Frankly, I would appreciate that the truth were shown in all it crudeness, but that would require that the movie were the work of someone respectful for his birth country and my country of adoption and this guy's not. Otherwise he wouldn't spent time in Havana licking the boots of a bloodthirsty terrorist turned into a dictator.
His crews have begun shooting scenes in the city, and they have promised to be respecful to the hallow ground and to the memories of the fallen. Stone(d) says that he won't film throngs of New Yorkers running terrified through debris-filled streets. In virtue of political correctness he will built a fake NYC in a sound stage in LA and film those scenes there. He won't be faithful to the drama of the terror attack, since he will use newsreels of the attack but will skip the collapse of the twin towers. It would be like a film about Pearl Harbor without the bombings and the kamikazes.
According to the producers: "We're not doing the `Towering Inferno-Titanic' version," said Michael Shamberg and Stacey Sher from Paramount studios. This is for starters insulting. That was an inferno, Messieurs Shamberg and Sher, and you better don't engage in an excercise of sanitizing and editing history to transform a tragedy into a safe money-making visual-effects-laden film.
Stone started his work in NYC last week. The film, which title has not been revealed features Nicolas Cage as one of two Port Authority of New York and New Jersey police officers who survived the towers' collapse and were rescued from the World Trade Center ruins after 22 hours. Now tell me how do you tell the story without showing the collapse of the buildings.
Now the jewels, the producers decided to steer away from the location of the WTC after many meetings with the families of the victims, who by the way are far from being sure that Hollywood would treat the terror attacks of September 11, 2001 with the due respect and reverence.
And of course, many of the relatives are very concerned about the morals and honesty of Stone(d) and how it would affect the story telling. His record about Vietnam and JFK, his movie Comandante, and other drivels make them think that he would come out with a leftwing interpretation of the events. And they are damn right.
In October 2001, Stone(d) referred to the attacks as a "revolt" against multinational corporations. Now he is going to probably come with some sort of obscure explaination and a load of bullcrap to try to disguise that idea, but throwing it at our faces a the same time in a typical excercise of communist propaganda. With this addition to his resume, maybe kagasstro decides to hire him to document his "heroic feats" in Cuba. I certainly hope that Stone(d) is at his side when he is finally whacked out. Just to see how he portraits it.
According to Stone(d) his newest film is "an exploration of heroism in our country, but it's international at the same time in its humanity" which to me sounds like a very suspicious approach. International in his humanity. Well Stone(d), are you going to present the "human dimension" of the killers and his instigators? Do you plan to tell me that Osama bin Laden is a fascinating character, as you swooned about kagasstro?
For all I know, I am afraid that this will be a movie centered in a slight sliver of the story and that the real nature of terror and terrorists will be left out. From Stone(d) what I expect is a Bush bashing film and also an attack on the character or Rudy Giuliani.
The timing is perfect. This is politically motivated, a Farenheit 911 revisited, just to smear the leadership of the country and the city and to try to sink the chances of Rudy Giuliani for a Republican nomination to run for President in 2008. Maybe he's has some seed money from obscures places, like Havana.
If somebody in this world doesn't want to see Rudy as POTUS that's Mr. kagasstro. He still remembers how Rudy didn't allow him (and his date for the night, Arafat) to enter his party honoring foreign dignataries visiting NYC in the occasion of a United Nations event. Rudy was very stern, and ordered those two guys kept at bay, outside and in the cold. He didn't want any killers in his party.
The same that I don't want Stone(d) telling the story of the terror attacks that changed NYC and this nation forever.
By the way, if Rudy plans to run for President I wish him a lot of success. Maybe Oliver Stone(d) finally moves to Cuba! It won't be for long, Oliver.

Monsters' night!

So, the Butcher and his Putumayo House Boy don't want you to celebrate Halloween. No!
That's too American! Officially, no Halloween parties are allowed in Cuba and Venezuela. I mean, the two Zombie masters want no competition. In the Federated Republic of Cubazuela, there's no permission to compete with the monsters in power.
If these two slime balls declare it verbotten, then you know that it's fun and good for you. So let's piss them on and have a virtual Halloween with Cubans and Venezuelans online. Let's break the rule of the two ghouls, and make captive Cubans and Venezuelans free for a night!

The Ghost and the Ghoul

Happy & scary Halloween y'all!
And now a trip back to my memories.
This is a tradition that didn't exist in Cuba when I was growing up. But then, with the sweetness typical of the forbidden fruit, everything American had a special calling for us. I remember how we picked up the tradition from American movies, and from old stories in magazines... And we also took clues from Spanish magazines that translated Halloween as "la noche de las brujas" or witches'night. Very fitting, since all the old hags from el Comite were viejas brujas....
Nothing like donning a crude costume and a crude mask and write a quick abajo fidel in a façade with a piece of charcoal or with a piece of chalk pilfered from our high school, remember, you can't buy crayolas, spray paint or even chalk in Cuba. A few years after, I sent my nephew the mask I wore during my first real Halloween.
Imagine this, in Cuba to wear a mask even during the Carnavales is now verbotten. Well, Carnavales are now a defunct tradition, they have been sanitized to a meaningless rite of cheap beer drinking and people sweat and dance in escapism. The same way the slaves did in the original Carnaval, but without the authenticity and the hope. Imagine New Orleans without Mardi Gras, that's Havana without the debauchery of the Carnaval. So we were doubly transgressive. The mask and the chalk. That'd be a great title for a Halloween movie where some kid kill the bearded monster with a stake trough his rotten heart.
Halloween was the first real party that I attended when I broke free from kagasstro's chains. It was unbelievable, it was great. I cried under the mask for my friends and family left behind. Nobody noticed.
Somehow, the city of Havana provides a great scenery for Halloween. Nothing like the monumental cemetery of Colon. Or the old arcades in some central districts... or the narrow streets of Old Havana or Chinatown, with the Chinese men with an air that is centuries old. The Protestant Cemetery or the Chinese Cemetery are great locales too, the later is just across from raul caligula cagastro luxury apartment, he lives in a place surrounded by the three cemeteries I mentioned. One could feel the macabre nature of that beast, who loves to live in sight of the tombs of his victims.
These are the places that come back to my mind with photographic quality when this day comes... Oh, the memories... we had parties in those places, and in the ruins of the never finished National School of Arts, all very Gothic.
I have nothing against embracing new traditions. That's how culture enriches itself and evolves. I wish we embraced Mardi Gras, Halloween and Thanksgiving in a free Cuba. Thanksgiving would have a very special meaning, since Cubans should be eternally grateful to God once the kagasstro's course is dispelled.
Happy and scary Halloween, y'all!

LOS CUBANOS ANTES Y DESPUES.

This is part of an email that I recived today. Since this is a topic we have touched upon in the passed I thought it would be a propos to revisit.
There is no comments on this just a profound agreement.:

Where is Sean Penn?

Y'all noticed that this guy was nowhere to be seen helping out in Florida or in Havana. He is stupid enough not to plug his boat, but he fears a good ol' ass kicking propinated by Cuban in both locations or by angry Americans in Florida. It's all politics. Where are all the lefties? What are they saying about kagasstro's submarine in the harbour? Are they sending any help to the population of Miami? Some concert or benefit? I haven't heard of that one yet. Where are all the kagasstro licker Hollyweirdos? I haven't seen any of them giving any kind of confort to the people or the areas affected by the hurricane in Cuba. Don't hold your breath for that one... But... They will come down like moth to the candle whenever kagasstro summons them to do some nice politically motivated stunt and denounce Bush for not signing Kyoto and unleashing Katrina on the poor New Orleaners (surgical hurricane, didn't touch -apparently- the property of rich people) and Wilma on Habaneros (surgical hurricane too, didn't send kagasstro flying like bat out of hell) and Pinareños....
Let's wait and see.
I hope that the American help materializes in form of a contingent of unarmed soldiers with their correspondent USO Tour of right wing rockers. That'd be so good!

And Carmen reports.....

Hello and THANK GOD WE ARE ALL OK in Boca Raton!!
Just got our power restored after almost 6 days...not too bad considering the devastation that bitch Wilma has caused in Palm Beach County....Whatever you see in the news, not always the truth, so here is my version:
Monday Wilma came by around 6 am....we were told by our weather reporters that by the time Wilma came to our area after hitting the West Coast of Fla it would be a hard tropical storm.... most people in Palm Beach County did not prepare for a CATEGORY 3 HURRICANE!!!! so she huffed and she puffed and tried to blow our houses down!!...most folks had no shutters, including us, the wind was blowing at 140 miles an hour, the tiles were peeling right off our roof, water was coming in through the house like we had a fountain connected to the dining room chandelier and all through the high windows!!! The power was off, the trees were falling and limbs were flying around like missles in a war zone!! (did you see this on the news?)
Yes...gas shortages and power outages make people very nervous and anxious, there is no ATM machines to spit out money for us....there are no groceries stores open to supply us with our basic needs of ice, milk, propane for our BBQ grills, paper goods for our daily needs etc... our nail and hair appointments had to be cancelled!! there is no electricity to cook with, can't make coffee in the mornings!(my family was fearing for their lives at this point after momma not having her morning java for 3days in a row) actually people around us were all nice to each other, very polite and understanding, sometimes a few hot tempers flared at the gas stations due to the frustration of not having gas to power the generators etc...but not too bad considering.
By Wed water pressure was a little low....at this point, we could care less....we were all sick of taking cold showers, the food in our coolers was all wet and soggy, some of our friends had decided to leave town for a while...the propane in the BBQ grill was running low, and the food supply including Doritos, beer and wine had to be carefully consummed by now... you heard the gas stations had no gas and the ones that did have gas had no power to run their pumps!! So we were stucked in our houses with each other!!!
after the wind and rain stopped,we decided it was safe to come out and start cleaning debris in the yard, perhaps take a walk, that was shocking.... everywhere around us huge trees were down, power lines down, traffic lights hanging by a thread, peoples roofs and patio enclosures all over the roads, yet, we were thanking God to be alive and well....we cleaned our yard, fished the neighborhood lose tiles, trees and Halloween decorations out of our pool and decided it was not worth the time or trouble to go loot the local Wal Mart for a new color TV, shoes or clothes....we did not shoot at any helicopters flying by, we did not blame The Bush brothers or the US govt for Wima or for our misfortune, instead we found out intersting enough, that we could actually get along without our cell phones, e mails, electronic gadgets, TV's washer and dryers, etc, etc....my friend Missy took some of my "icky" laundry with her when she left town to do it for me at her daughter's (now that is a true friend!!) I actually washed some of our laundry in the tub and put up a clothes line (???) I explained to the kids in the neighborhood that this is a system used by their ancestors to make sure they had clean laundry back in the old days....
We played board games in the afternoon, the kids in our area played outside with their parents, Jordan and Nick had a pretty good Greek folkloric band going on (Nick in the violin and Jordan with his drum) Christina and Bianca came over with flutes and clarinets... even our dog was happy, he had 30 pounds of dog food, bottled water, our bed and us at home,so the aftermath had some rewards after all.....
The Fla Power and Light people have been great restoring power to more than 9 million people in less than 7 days!! the roads are pretty clear of debris, the Salvation Army and local churches have been serving hot meals throughout the area, the sky has been beautiful and the weather is absolutely gorgeous!! our windows are open (yes..i have to sweep constantly)there is a cool breeze blowing through, so no A/C is needed....imagine that!!
This afternoon, around 5 pm we heard a strange sound!! it was the power coming back on and turning on our lights, the fridge, the microwave, the TV, the PC's all at once!! I went outside to make sure it was not my delusional self just wishful thinking, and like me, most of the people in the street had the same idea, we were all jumping with joy!! after all.... 5 1/2 days of roughing it is plenty for us people of the digital-electro lifestyles.... two families from our street got together and decided to take a walk to our local neighborhood Italian restaurant for some hot food that did not taste like charcoal or propane!! it was very nice......
So.. I say that Wilma did teach me a good lesson, it brought me back to days in Cuba when there was no power, and no water, also my first days in the USA in the refugee center in Opa Locka...Boy I am glad Wilma is long gone!! and yes, I am glad to live in the greatest country on earth!!.....and of course, being back on line is nice too.....
WOW to those of you that sent emails worrying about us Thank YOU!! I will answer all 190 emails as soon as possible....
Love
Carmen

Get ready for some rock.

Maylene and the sons of disaster in this music blog Bring Back Vinyl. If you're in a more melodical vein, this is all you need: The Beatles.
A more vintage and adventorous ear can try this one: Jimi Hendrix one of my all time favourites, or The Rolling Stones or maybe Lynyrd Skynyrd.
I will just crank some music by that lil' ol' band from Texas. Or maybe some Ozzy Osbourne. Rock on!

Religion of peace?

Answering to my own rhethorical question, religion of peace my ass.
Three Indonesian school girls were killed by Muslim terrorist just because they were Christians, with the trademark slaughtering method used by those assassins, beheading. A fourth girl managed to escape badly wounded, and denounced the crime to the authorities.
How on fucking Earth can be a crime like this justified? How on fucking Earth can go a crime like this undenounced? I am waiting for the Muslim community. They are silent. As always. Being silent in this moment is just a mild equivalent of complicity in this horrific crime.
So, Islam is (according to appeasers and apologists) a very advanced cultural system and the Koran is poetry. That's why the Catholic King and Queen of Spain kicked Moorish ass out of Iberia so hard that they are still hurting. Needless to say, that advancement and alleged illumination is all bullshit. The freaking Moors didn't discover America. The ones leading the sciences, philosophy, medicine and math in the occupied parts of Spain were all either Christian or Jewish, as Maimonides, but the Moors forced them to Arabicize their names and adopt their uses and customs. They were rendered into dhimmis, or second class tax payer citizens with no right to occupy public office. The Christians had to wear a blue belt and the Jews a yellow belt to be conviniently identified in public. Many forced converts or their descendants as passed today as full fledged Islamic just to pretend that the Islamic civilization was superior. Well, their evolution to their contemporary animalistic state tells you how "advanced" were them in the Middle Ages.
By the way, the natives of Andalusia were the descendants of the Vandals, the Goths, the Visgoths, and the Romans. The Jews came with the Romans, and also did Catholicism. They were the ones that created what is today known as Spanish Islamic architecture. It was built by Catholic and Jewish enslaved workers. Very Islamic indeed. They actually taught the camel riders how to get out of the tent and the mud hut.
Having said all that, let's go back to the crime commited in Indonesia.
When a sect or religion resorts to assassination of innocent school girls to "advance" their cause, they make clear that they only deserve physical elimination through blunt force.
Another thing that "escapes" the usual bunch of terrorist appeasers and comforters is that women are the more fragile entity in an Islamic society, and children don't fare that well either. Women and children are property, and their are valued less than a camel or a goat. A "prominent" scumbag (I refuse to consider them men) trades camels and goats for women, or children, since they seem to be fond of young boys as well.
Remember this whenever you see any piece of pro-Islamist propaganda:
"Three teenage Christian girls beheaded in Indonesia on their way to school.Up to six men attacked the three girls near the town of Poso on the eastern island of Sulawesi, according to a National police spokesman. They said the assailants wore black clothing and masks. The headless bodies of their victims were left at the site of the attack but their heads were found at separate locations. Debbie Bell, Reuters. (October 29)"

a helpful recipe...

Well, Pentagon boys, read this....
The recipe for success in the relief mission in Cuba is an easy one.
Still, and in spite of kagasstro propaganda, and the continuous blunder of the dry-foot wet-foot regulation, the Cuban population is very pro American.
Now that kagasstro accepted the American help it is a matter of doing things in a very effective way. Get a bunch of soldiers disembarking in Havana to offer help to the Cuban people, this requires a complex logistic backup. As I said before, this is a full blast long range psych-op detail.
Send a bunch of attractive men and women in uniform. Movie star looks, big flashy smiles. The coolest people in uniform you can get. Have a photo-op in every corner. Give candy to kids, medication to the elderly, a helping hand to the adults. Assist women in labor, and hold kids being baptized. Don't carry more weapons than an all American smile and a bunch of T-shirts with the Old Glory and baseball caps (for your info, now the Chicago White Sox are in better trading position in the streets of Havana than the old time favourite the Yankees -thanks to ex-Yankees Jose Contreras and El Duque Hernandez)
Candy, Hershey bars, M&Ms, give them away galore.
Blare American music from your Humvees.
Give people rides.
Help people retrive a scared cat from a tree.
Tell them that their dog is cute.
Make friends with the locals.
Give kids army caps.
I guarantee you, with that kind of behaviour, kagasstro is gone in a matter of minutes, because you are going to destroy all his propagandistic tenets very swiftly.
Cuba is ripe to be ridden of the dictator. And at this point, it will be a very peaceful operation, this is perfect timing!

A grisly reminder

It's ben reported that some human remains were found near Ground Zero. Four years after the terrorist attack we are still finding reminders of that horrific day. Ten human bone fragments were discovered discovered on the rooftop of the nearby skyscraper The Deutsche Bank, that is shrouded in black netting -to me it looks like a burqa- and that is scheduled for demolition. The only thing that made the burqa image to fade away is the large American flag that covers the facade since 2002. In the photograph, the Deutsche Bank Building is a tall building at the center right.

"The pieces of bone, ranging in size from half an inch to two inches, were found on three days last month by construction workers sifting through gravel on top of the former Deutsche Bank building, officials said."

Whenever some liberal start saying something about the war in Iraq, please remind them of this, I mean, before you smack them.

The Deutsche Bank was hit by parts of the trade center's south tower that gashed open the 41-story building's facade when it collapsed on Sept. 11, 2001.

"We're hoping to be able to create some profiles," said Ellen Borakove, the city medical examiner's spokeswoman. They are facing the task of extracting and analyzing DNA from the bone fragments.

The city has recovered 19,964 pieces of human remains from the trade center attack and identified 9,100 of them, Borakove said. Of the 2,749 people who died at the trade center, 1,152 victims have no identifiable remains.

The medical examiner's office has said that more sophisticated DNA technology may someday develop to help identify the remains. Until then, they will remain in city custody and will eventually be encased at the trade center memorial.

And what is Vicente Fox doing about this?

We have said in numerous occasions that there's a real danger in the Southern border with all of that illegal immigrant smuggling, a flourishing business in that area. The coyotes are not very famous for their patriotism, sympathy for America, and much less for their scruples. Not that many of the illegal immigrants themselves have a contrasting philosophy.
Senator Tom Tancredo, a Colorado Republican, came out with some interesting facts on border crossing antics:
"We've found copies of the Koran, we have found prayer rugs, we have found a lot of stuff written in Arabic, so it's not just people from Mexico coming across that border"
What is Vicente Fox doing about this? Nothing, zilch, nada.
How's that all those Middle Easterners arrive to Mexico?
Maybe they hop to Mexico from Cuba, who knows? kagasstro and fox are pocketing some change in this, that's for sure!

The art of political ping-pong

A few minutes ago, the Chicago Tribune correspondent Gary Marx reported that Mr. cagasstro backpedaled -again. Now he wants the American assistance and help in dealing with the disaster that is his sole responsibility, since he owns the sole pair of hands that control everything in Cuba. What he is saying now is that "he didn't ask for help", but what the hell, "throw some greenbacks at me, while you're at it".
I hope that this time around we go the whole nine yards and tell him that we are the ones who call the shots, since he is incapable of helping his own people, we are taking over the humanitarian mission of preserving Cuban lives and helping restore sanitary conditions in Havana and other parts of Cuba. I hope this old trickster understand that the Army Corps of Engineers will be present, that unarmed American soldiers are going to be conducting missions of relief and that the Cuban population will interact with them by force.
In the Cuban press there are reports that the Cuban Armed Forces Corps of Engineers started cleaning the debris and pumping water out of the traffic tunnels in Havana (what about the semi-secret tunnels all over the place?) and curiously the "acceptance" of the help comes right after it's said that there's no way that the Cuban Armed Forces can undertake the titanic task of clearing the debris, getting rid of the water, and provide the population with sanitary conditions and preventive medical care.
Apparently, some people in the White House and the State Department got the jest of the modus operandi of kagasstro and they are willing to play some hard ball will him. Needless to say, kagasstro would prefer the political ping-pong at which he is so accomplished. Wondrously, there are many people in power in American politics who apparently are incapable of "reading" a guy who has been a fierce enemy of the States for more than half a century, if one goes for what's on the record. Don't let the prick call the shots. Show him who's boss and why, make him publicly accept the help, and then descend on Cuba with the biggest humanitarian relief effort of history. Learn from the mistakes in New Orleans for God's sake, and don't repeat them in Cuba, this is the chance to kick the tyrant in the pants.
This is not somebody plucking petals from a daisy in a love me, love me not fashion -actually, that's more the style of raul caligula cagastro, but instead it's a treacherous game of political pingpong and blackmail at which kagasstro is a master. To defeat them in his own turf all that's needed is a humanitarian effort that can erase his propagandistic tenets of how horrible Americans are. That's not difficult. Have anyone in the Pentagon thought of Hershey bars? They provide great photo ops and sweeten people. A few Humvees driving up and down Malecon will not hurt the chances of the Cuban people to get rid of this monster forever. Remember, this is an all out psych-ops and propaganda war. We've got a great hand of cards. Let's play.

Waters receed

This is how Havana is looking like, now that the waters are receeding by themselves. The commie propaganda piece is a classic. The boat in front of the theater where the big commie honcho holds his usual multi-hour babblefest is a very clear symbol, people row their way out of that nightmare everyday. All is full of garbage and debris. Water is stagnant in many places. A tragic situation, indeed.

Collage

I just got this collage in from Havana. According to my source, it was made with photos taken by a friend of a friend of a friend, one of those common things in the Havana grapevine, where nobody tells you anybody elses' name for fear of reprisals. The author of the photos already risks a lot. The "trasmitters" of the photos too. Kudos to the Anonymous Photographer and to all the people who helped in getting these photographs to us.
In one of them (lower left) the American Interest Section is clearly seen in the middle of the water. In another one (top left) the monument to the USS Maine seems to be floating on its own. The other three shots (right) show the sea entering the city. Click on the collage for a bigger image.

Macabre and ghoulish

This is the disastrous situation in the famous Colon Cemetery of Havana, where one of the most amazing sculpture collection in open airs in the whole world is being lost to the elements. Not to talk about the human tragedy, and the health risks to the general population, and the horror of having a cemetery destroyed like this.

Marching orders from Havana

Well, Diego Armando Maradona, another example of scumbaggery from austral latitudes -che huevera was not alone- promissed his master fidel cagasstro that he would lead a an anti-Bush, anti-American march in Havana this upcoming Tuesday. Actually, it would be in Buenos Aires, in the typical Anti American fashion so en vogue in Latin America. Sorry, I couldn't understand very well the dialectal Spanish Maradona speaks and his slurred speech doesn't make things easy.
Tuesday's All Saint's Day in Latin America, the day after Halloween.
That would be ghoulish. Very ghoulish.
Throngs of people marching in Buenos Aires at the beat of Maradona's drum. In Havana it would have been through the ruins of a decaying city, where the beauty and the majesty of the buildings can only be remembered. Tell me if that's not Dantesque. Maybe cagastro decides that they march in Colon Cemetery as well.
Anyway the marching orders come from Havana. It is another slap to the face of the suffering Cuban people, this is another show of force of the terrorist who is in charge and command in that island. Tell me that this is not cruel and inhuman. Money diverted from solving the most basic necesities of Cubans to satisfy the ego of an Argentinian loser and a Cuban tyrant at the same time.
Maradona is a hero in Argentina. This is the time for all honest Argentinians to repudiate such a bastard. This is the hour of truth for them. Or better, this is the time to remind the world that Argentina is held by Kutchner who is a fascio-communist puppet of cagasstro and a chavez licker. Maybe we should boycott all Argentian products to remind them who is Maradona. A druggie. A lowly piece of shit.

Suspicious backpedaling operation

kagasstro denies accepting US aid, as we correctly predicted there was something suspicious in this... According to what I was told, it was on the brand new Maradona's TV show, "La noche del 10". The stage was set in advance so the old communist tyrant and his little druggadict, skin decorated friend had a ball at the expense of the Cuban and American peoples.
Let's remember that Maradona is a lowly scum with a che huevera tattoo and a cagasstro tattoo as well. He has another tattoo in his forefront, in invisible ink, it reads, shitbag, or saco de mierda in Spanish.
For cagasstro, to accept American aid would have been a tacit recognition of his defeat at the hands of God and Nature. He probably though about it twice, and he could not tolerate the image of Cubans waving American flags and the U.S. military deployed in Cuba in a relief mission. So his druggie friend gave him a podium to proclame that he plans to keep on abusing the Cuban people.
This is far from over, and there will be interesting developments in this case. It was all an effectist coup, with the clear slant of the "classical" communist propaganda. As I said, he always bite the hand that offered to feed him.
He didn't board the submarine... maybe he had a satanic epiphany: he would create a total hell for the survivors of the hurricane through increased repression, plus the scarcities and penuries provoked by his own hand and the hurricane.
Why? Because when people are desperate they do desperate things, but they never do intelligent things. He wants to force Cubans, specially Habaneros, to take the seas and come to the States in a massive wave. Of course, he wins with that one too. The dissident movement loses some members. He can "disappear" incovenient people always in accordance with that organized crime maxim "make it look like an accident, Joe" and he will have many mouths less to feed.
On the other hand, this is the right moment for us to say: "you rejected our help, you cannot control your people, and you're out of the game".
The U.S. Goverment should declare "humanitarian crisis" in Cuba and send the armed forces down there to help the population. That'd be really nice.
The plan should be as follows:
Get amphibian vehicles and helicopters to transport troops with supplies, food, clothes and medication, get the medics to treat and vaccinate everyone. Give medical attention, food, and some clothing to everyone. The people will become one with the soldiers and they won't allow the Cuban military to take any action against the American forces. Close cagastro in his burrow with a multiprong relief operation. Block the roads leading to his multiple houses. Call the Cuban military to join the American military in the relief effort. Give cagastro an ultimatum and void his authority. Call for a civilian invasion of Cuban Americans delivering help for their fellow countrymen. It wouldn't be easy. But the tyrant would be gone for ever!

New Brisbane and the World
27 October, 2005

HAVANA - Cuban despot fidel cagastro denied on Thursday that his Communist government had accepted U.S. aid for the first time in the wake of Hurricane Wilma.

The U.S. State Department said earlier its longtime foe Cuba, whose own offer of help was snubbed by Washington after Hurricane Katrina, had for the first time "in memory" accepted U.S. disaster aid.

State Department spokesman Sean McCormack said a three-person U.S. assessment team was on stand-by to go to Cuba to see what was needed after Wilma flooded Havana and western shore areas this week.

U.S. aid would be funneled through a nongovernmental organization if it were needed, he said, adding that Washington had sent a diplomatic note to Cuba on Tuesday offering help and received a positive response a day later.

Havanas reply to the U.S. offer, read out by cagastro on a live television broadcast, said Cuba had not requested international aid. "That is not an acceptance of aid," the Cuban (dictator) said.

cagastro, annoyed that Washington was distorting Cuba‘s intentions, said Havana had only accepted a visit by the assessment team in an effort to build regional cooperation in dealing with the growing danger posed by hurricanes.

"We have no objections at all to the three officials visiting us, to know their assessment and exchange views on these matters," cagastro said. "We won‘t close the door."

Two months ago the United States did not take up Havana‘s offer to send more than 1,000 doctors and tons of medical supplies to the United States after Hurricane Katrina hit the U.S. Gulf Coast.

Cuba said the United States never formally responded to the offer for political reasons, but State Department officials said the help was not needed.

A little town in the South coast of Cuba

I didn't know the name of this town, until a friend called and told me: Guanimar.
I don't know the name of the man in the photograph, or anything else about him.
I know that he lived in misery, in a forgotten place. I now know that he has less than he ever imagined. All's gone.
With the American help going into the island the Cuban people will be face to face in front of an American for the first time in almost 47 years. The official propaganda will crumble and will be taken away by the receeding waters when people don't see the mosters that cagasstro created as part of his system of fear and terror. He was successful for a time steering people into fearing, mistrusting and hating the Americans. But in Cuba people love everything American and the States.
Somehow, cagasstro has been defeated by Nature and his enemies are the ones who can help the Cuban people to survive. At this point, cagasstro's sham has been uncovered.

Any doubts?

KaSStro capitulates!

As we know the USA has an open policy of assistance to any country in which a natural disaster occurs.
The protocol is simple:
USA officials in the affected country offer the help
The country government accepts to discuss the help
The two countries meet and decide how this help will be provide.

And GUESS what? El GeneraliSSimo, el Maximo Lider, El Caballo with tail between legs asked the USA for help!
Not only that, accepted all the stipulations of the USA government.

That is, all help will be provided and managed through third party USA organizations with NOT a cent being funneled through KaSStro’s bloody hands.
Three USA government assessors are on their way to Cuba to report the damages and decide on a dollar figure.

I think we have a historical moment here, because when we see the destruction we KNOW this is not going to be a $50 grand “here you go, don’t let the door hit ya in the ass on your way out” but that specialists, engineers and medical experts will be going to Cuba to help our people rise from this mess.

Will KaSStro tell the people he has finally been defeated by Mother Nature ? I doubt it , but when the USA planes start landing and English speaking engineers start asking questions the people WILL know.
KASSTRO you piece of shit.... the end is NEAR!

Desesperado.

A really interesting piece of news got stuffed into my e-mail letter box... A friend sent me the article that I reproduce below.... My edition to the article was to decapitalize and rename cagasstro and to take out the word leader.
Other than that, it's intact for your enjoyment.
He is planning a coup to bite the hand that feeds him, because he is surprinsingly accepting American help. This is going to turn into an interesting propaganda excercise, but he has to be totally desperate to accept the help from the U.S. at this point. I hope that the whole deal turns sour for him and Cubans start accelerating his demise.
That's what I gather from the fact of having a submarine in the Havana harbour -were you ready to escape undetected old ogre?- the Orwellian doublespeak of the Cuban press, and the lack of information to locals in Havana. This situation deserves a lot of monitoring and attention. We indeed live in interesting times!
In another e-mail, the friend who sent me this article just tells me that it was also published in El Cafe Cubano and Babalu. And I am sure that the blogosphere is hot with this piece of news now.

By ANNE GEARAN, AP Diplomatic Writer 1 hour, 27 minutes ago WASHINGTON - Cuba has unexpectedly agreed to a quiet U.S. offer of emergency aid following Hurricane Wilma, and three Americans will travel to Cuba to assess needs there, the State Department said Thursday.Washington has routinely offered humanitarian relief for hurricanes and other disasters in Cuba, and Cuban dictator fidel cagastro himself has routinely turned the offers down. After Hurricane Dennis pummeled the island in July, cagastro expressed gratitude for Washington's offer of $50,000 in aid but rejected it."This was the first time they have accepted an offer of assistance," State Department spokesman Sean McCormack said, at least based on the "collective memory" of diplomats at the department. The display of U.S.-Cuban cooperation was not expected to produce any easing in the long-standing hostility between the two countries.Washington sent a diplomatic note to Cuban officials on Tuesday, a day after day the storm pounded the island nation, offering to send emergency supplies. Cuba accepted the offer Wednesday, McCormack said. The State Department did not specify what supplies might be sent, but humanitarian assistance generally covers food, medicine, related supplies or emergency housing.A three-person team from the U.S. Agency for International Development is making travel arrangements now, McCormack said. Additional aid offers would be based on what that team found, and all aid would go to Cuba indirectly, through aid groups, McCormack said.Cuba and the United States do not have full diplomatic relations, a legacy of more than 40 years of Cold War acrimony. A U.S. trade embargo on Cuba has been in place since the Kennedy administration. More recently, the Bush administration has branded Cuba one of the world's few remaining "outposts of tyranny" in a league with Myanmar, Belarus and Zimbabwe.Havana offered 1,600 doctors to help victims of Hurricane Katrina, which hit the United States on Aug. 29. The State Department said the Cuban help was not needed because enough American doctors had offered their services.Floodwaters in Havana caused damage to historic buildings and the famed Malecon seawall. Dozens of city blocks were flooded by the storm, but no deaths were reported in Havana. Wilma has been blamed for at least 22 deaths, five in Florida, 12 in Haiti, at least 4 in Mexico and 1 in Jamaica.

More destruction

This is what's left of the famed Malecon promenade in Havana, the destruction is making itself visible now that the waters are slowly receeding.
What follows is a loose translation of an e-mail I got from Havana:
"the city has turned into an instant -and tragic- Venice, the low laying areas are totally flooded, the salt is heavy everywhere and there's a stench of rotten garbage and who knows what else.... all the high areas are less affected, but there are flooding in low areas inland that were affected by the rain. We are returning to the abnormality of the normal here. The sewer system is not working, and the worst is yet to come.... I couldn't make it to the cemetery, but a friend told me that is flooded too, I don't want to imagine the spectacle. There's electricity in my job and the internet access is also ok here, not at home, where I have none, so I am coming here to communicate with the exterior world".

The tragedy of Havana

Communist propaganda 101 tells you to minimize the impact of any adverse event, to transform the defeat in victory, and to obscure the reality in favour of creating an artificial euphoria to divert the attention of the population from their real problems. Communism is no more than the art of lying and hijacking the truth. In the photos that we have published a different story can be seen. In the mean time, the communist motormouths in Havana are minimizing the situation trying to do some damage control on behalf of kagasstro. These photos are for you to judge.

Who would think of deploying a submarine?

Take a look at the collage. Yes, you will see a submarine. Why? Only kagasstro would know why do you need a submarine in the middle of a hurricane. I mean, it comes handy to take a tyrant to a safe place if the go gets though. To Venezuela maybe? Look at the would-be balseros trying their UFOs (unidentified floating objects). Don't miss the jet ski, and just try to imagine life in Cuba after this hurricane. As they say in Cuba, if they survived cagasstro they can survive anything!

El Morro

This is one of the most internationally known symbols of Havana, here under a gigantic wave, the Cuban Big Kahuna!

Remote controlling humans

This is a very interesting article, written from the perspective of a free man. Every Cuban knows that remote controlling human is an "art" long ago perfected by kagasstro, cheaply. The only things he uses are fear, terror, and a ruthless represive apparatus. He sometimes gives a try to his old set of voodoo dolls as well. While you read the article, let me get my own voodoo doll in the likeness of kagastro, and the other two that look like raul and el mico putumayo chavez and pierce them for a while with very rusty pins. Let's see how do they like it! That's my remote control on them. And one day, God is gonna get his remote control and turn them off for ever. But I somehow think that God is going to put all of them in mute for a while.... It would be funny to see a voiceless kagasstro, what do you think?
Don't put this technology in the hands of the terrorists or kagasstro, because this is the materialization of their fascist dream of a society of zombies. Imagine a remote controlled suicide bomber. Or worst, a remote controlled army. Or even worst, a remote controlled civilian mob.
Let's just hope for a silver bullet terminating kagasstro the Zombie master before this gets out of control.

Remote Control Works on Humans
By YURI KAGEYAMA, AP

ATSUGI, Japan (Oct. 26) - We wield remote controls to turn things on and off, make them advance, make them halt. Ground-bound pilots use remotes to fly drone airplanes, soldiers to maneuver battlefield robots.

Itsuo Inouye, AP
Some speculate the technology could be used for gaming, assisting the elderly or even immobilizing an enemy.

But manipulating humans?

Prepare to be remotely controlled. I was.

Just imagine being rendered the rough equivalent of a radio-controlled toy car.

Nippon Telegraph & Telephone Corp., Japans top telephone company, says it is developing the technology to perhaps make video games more realistic. But more sinister applications also come to mind.

I can envision it being added to militaries' arsenals of so-called "non-lethal'' weapons.

A special headset was placed on my cranium by my hosts during a recent demonstration at an NTT research center. It sent a very low voltage electric current from the back of my ears through my head - either from left to right or right to left, depending on which way the joystick on a remote-control was moved.

I found the experience unnerving and exhausting: I sought to step straight ahead but kept careening from side to side. Those alternating currents literally threw me off.

The technology is called galvanic vestibular stimulation - essentially, electricity messes with the delicate nerves inside the ear that help maintain balance.

I felt a mysterious, irresistible urge to start walking to the right whenever the researcher turned the switch to the right. I was convinced - mistakenly - that this was the only way to maintain my balance.

It's a mesmerizing sensation similar to being drunk or melting into sleep under the influence of anesthesia. But it's more definitive, as though an invisible hand were reaching inside your brain.

The phenomenon is painless but dramatic. Your feet start to move before you know it. I could even remote-control myself by taking the switch into my own hands.

There's no proven-beyond-a-doubt explanation yet as to why people start veering when electricity hits their ear. But NTT researchers say they were able to make a person walk along a route in the shape of a giant pretzel using this technique.

It's a mesmerizing sensation similar to being drunk or melting into sleep under the influence of anesthesia. But it's more definitive, as though an invisible hand were reaching inside your brain.

NTT says the feature may be used in video games and amusement park rides, although there are no plans so far for a commercial product.

Some people really enjoy the experience, researchers said while acknowledging that others feel uncomfortable.

I watched a simple racing-car game demonstration on a large screen while wearing a device programmed to synchronize the curves with galvanic vestibular stimulation. It accentuated the swaying as an imaginary racing car zipped through a virtual course, making me wobbly.

Another program had the electric current timed to music. My head was pulsating against my will, getting jerked around on my neck. I became so dizzy I could barely stand. I had to turn it off.

NTT researchers suggested this may be a reflection of my lack of musical abilities. People in tune with freely expressing themselves love the sensation, they said.

"We call this a virtual dance experience although some people have mentioned it's more like a virtual drug experience,'' said Taro Maeda, senior research scientist at NTT. "I'm really hopeful Apple Computer will be interested in this technology to offer it in their iPod.''

Research on using electricity to affect human balance has been going on around the world for some time.

James Collins, professor of biomedical engineering at Boston University, has studied using the technology to prevent the elderly from falling and to help people with an impaired sense of balance. But he also believes the effect is suited for games and other entertainment.

"I suspect they'll probably get a kick out of the illusions that can be created to give them a more total immersion experience as part of virtual reality,'' Collins said.

The very low level of electricity required for the effect is unlikely to cause any health damage, Collins said. Still, NTT required me to sign a consent form, saying I was trying the device at my own risk.

And risk definitely comes to mind when playing around with this technology.

Timothy Hullar, assistant professor at the Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Mo., believes finding the right way to deliver an electromagnetic field to the ear at a distance could turn the technology into a weapon for situations where "killing isn't the best solution.''

"This would be the most logical situation for a nonlethal weapon that presumably would make your opponent dizzy,'' he said via e-mail. "If you find just the right frequency, energy, duration of application, you would hope to find something that doesn't permanently injure someone but would allow you to make someone temporarily off-balance.''

Indeed, a small defense contractor in Texas, Invocon Inc., is exploring whether precisely tuned electromagnetic pulses could be safely fired into people's ears to temporarily subdue them.

NTT has friendlier uses in mind.

If the sensation of movement can be captured for playback, then people can better understand what a ballet dancer or an Olympian gymnast is doing, and that could come handy in teaching such skills.

And it may also help people dodge oncoming cars or direct a rescue worker in a dark tunnel, NTT researchers say. They maintain that the point is not to control people against their will.

If you're determined to fight the suggestive orders from the electric currents by clinging to a fence or just lying on your back, you simply won't move.

But from my experience, if the currents persist, you'd probably be persuaded to follow their orders. And I didn't like that sensation. At all.

Mystery minister

Venezuela has a new mysterious minister, is he Cuban?

YOU make the call

I guess that even with the last minute change of Wilma to a position much farther north than anticipated, the hurricane still packed a wallop in La Habana. Even Granma can not hide that this time Mother Nature gave them a nice jab to to the liver. Of course , the report follows with inane commentaries like:

“Engineers and architects are already working to reconstruct the building and single family homes affected in zones in El Vedado and Playa”

They come out NOW? Where have they been for 40+ years? Ah , sure! Silly me they were planting coffee!

But they will have all spic-spac in 3 months TOPS.

Granma goes on to detail the private losses of “home owners” like, electro domestics, furniture, clothing, mattresses etc.

I’d like to know what houses Wilma picked up to flood ! Must’ve been a pretty surgical strike and it only inundated party member’s homes. What Cuban has ANYTHING of value to save!

Of course the most important claim in Granma is ;
En Cuba no hubo pérdidas de vidas humanas por huracán Wilma

(In Cuba there was no loss of human lives because of hurricane Wilma)

Hmmm …??

If you know La Habana and you read that the Lion Statues along Paseo del Prado were covered by water and that all tunnels in La Habana were flooded and that waters reached a level of 3 feet and up in district Plaza (which goes to about 21 blocks south of El Malecon) That Calzada de Zapata which border Colon Cemetery also had water 3 to 4 feet deep.

That Playa district was 5 to 6 feet underwater up to 25th Ave (here there’s a steep southern hill that most likely stopped the water at that point) you just GOTTA WONDER how NO ONE lost their lives..

But then we come to this bit ‘o new from this link, Times of Oman:

In Cuba, four people, including three foreign tourists, died in a bus accident as they evacuated Friday before the storm slammed the island.

So … technically this people DIED before the storm hit as they were being evacuated (there were also 3 foreigners which makes hiding their deaths a trifle difficult)
So I let you guys to make the call. In my opinion Granma is fibbing AGAIN!

Havana floods

So, kagasstro says that there are no problems in Cuba. Our man in Havana happens to disagree with the old scumbag and sent us these photos (he claims he got them from an "insider") to prove his point. It's your call now. Either you believe kagasstro or you believe our source. I am afraid of bigger tragedies coming to the surface when the waters receed. The damage provoked by the concentration of salt from the sea water, the tremendous stress on the buildings provoked by the winds, the rainfall and the accumulation of water will take a toll, once evertything is visible again. It won't be pretty. There will be many building collapses and material loses will be astronomical, not to talk about health problems.

PUMPKIN ALERT IN CARACAS.
el Mico Putumayo doesn't want you doing any trick or treating.
(he is as humorless as kagasstro)

CARACAS, Venezuela (Reuters) - Venezuelan security services scrambled Monday to tackle a new threat on the streets of Caracas: Halloween-style pumpkins carrying messages of rebellion against President Hugo Chavez.

Local media showed heavily armed police and bomb experts surrounding one orange squash with a Halloween face and covered with stickers; others sprouted cables and wires making authorities wary they could be home-made explosives.

"We took preventative measures, as this could have been someone with another intention or an artifact that could have harmed someone," Investigative police division commissioner Jesus Gonzalez told local radio.

The pumpkins were found outside the state petrochemical company Pequiven and the offices of Chavez's political party with references to a constitutional article about civil resistance, local media reported. Chavez opponents often refer to Article 350 when calling for support of street protests.

The pumpkin alert came just weeks after authorities found scores of paper skeletons with anti-Chavez messages hanging from bridges and lampposts in Caracas. Police described them as a "Machiavellian" attempt to cause unrest.

Since surviving a 2002 auto-coup, Chavez has often accused his opponents of working with Washington to topple his government or kill him. He faced months of protests by opponents who say he has dragged Venezuela toward Cuba-style communism.

Venezuela returned to relative political calm after Chavez "won" an August 2004 referendum and the former army paratrooper has since promised to promote a self-described socialist revolution in the world's No. 5 oil exporter.

Floods in Havana

This is a very important intersection in Havana, yesterday afternoon. This is Linea and G (or Avenida de los Presidentes) in el Vedado. The government insists that there are no problems in Havana. Well, it depends how you look at it. You're flooded. You have no food. No electricity, no way out unless the military or the police comes for you, do you really want that? You don't have a working phone. Forget about the internet. Forget about insurance, and about replacing all your loses. No problems indeed. You still have kagasstro, that's the only problem you have, the rest of the hurricane is really a walk in the park. With three feet of water!
(Thanks to our sources in the States and Havana!)

Coping with the floods in Pinar del Rio

An image is worth a thousand words.
The thousands of words said by kagasstro get obliterated by this single image on the flooding situation in western Cuba.

Hotel Palestine hit by three car bombs in Baghdad

The terrorist have attacked the informal headquarters of the foreign press corps in Iraq, the Hotel Palestine causing some damage in the Firous Square, the one made famous for the scene of the throng of Iraqis trying to take down Saddam's statue and the help they got from the invading GI's. The Hotel Palestine is almost intact, since the bombs exploded in the concrete barrier that circundates it, and there's an operation of search and rescue going on right now.
Still, the American press insists in calling the terrorist by the euphemism of "insurgents". The real insurgents are the Iraqis who in spite of the terror attacks have rebelled against those terrorists and are trying to have their country back from the deposed tyrant and his henchmen by proxy, all the killers who are in the loose now. Let's call that hotel from now on Hotel California and create a surreal scene of war when we remember the Eagles' song.
Somehow, the Spanish judge that indicted American soldiers for firing at that hotel and killing a Spanish journo and his Ukrainian camera man, while responding to shots being fired at their unit from that hotel, is suspiciously silent this morning.
What one could expect from the press and the liberal judges and lawmakers? They are the same that insist in calling kagasstro president, trying to dilute the fact that he is a bloody tyrant.
By the same token, they want to place the responsibility for the carnages in Iraq on the shoulders of the American soldiers, romanticizing the terrorists who are praying mainly on the people of Iraq. The attacks started against the American soldiers with colateral casualties among the Iraqi civilian population. Now, since the Americans are hitting back really hard, the attacks have shifted to the reverse, the target are the Iraqis and the colateral casualties are the American and Iraqi soldiers who are patrolling the country. Cowards, that's what the terrorists are.

Havana under the waves

Massive walls of seawater propelled by Hurricane Wilma crashed continuously into the famous promenade of el Malecon in the city of Havana, then breaking into the old magnificent neighboorhoods of yesterday, now reduced to old, crumbling buildings as the storm prepared to advance on Florida. The outer bands of Wilma also drenched western Cuba and flooded evacuated communities along the island's southern coast after the hurricane clobbered Mexico's Yucatan Peninsula. The extent of damage in Cuba's north was not immediately assessed or known. When the water recedes and the materials in the old buildings dry and resettle is when a number of structures will colapse.
On Sunday, tyrant fidel kagasstro finally dared to appear on a television programme to calm Cubans anticipating increased winds and flooding as Wilma passed by en route to south-western Florida. He also offered to send Cuban doctors to Mexico to help in recovery work after Wilma struck. That was a nice way of calming everyone. Get buffeted by the hurricane, and then the tyrant comes and loots you out of your scarce material help to give it to his ally, your enemy. He doesn't freaking care about Cubans, but communist propaganda 101 tells him to help a country with a sympathetic population at the expense of the suffering, pain, and despair of Cuba's own population who despise the dictator and his Mexican admirers. Talk about terrorism of state and inhuman cruelty.

Nothing like breaking the yoke of fear

Ah, this is a good feeling!

Looting in two countries

Some Mexicans are following to a t the New Orleans recipe: while hit by a monster storm, reject all help and steal and vandalize all you can. Screw your neighborhood, your neighbor and your whole community, that's what they do. They deserve to be shot in the spot.
In another country, looting materializes and embodies in the person of only one being: kagasstro. Finally, he babbled and blurted on TV, looting the Cuban people of their scarce resources, promising to send physicians, medicines, food, and material help to Mexico. He also deserves to be shot, on the spot. He is scamming the Cuban people to send the help to a country that is the biggest enemy of the Cuban people in Latin America. At the same time, he is rejecting American help and blaming the inexisting embargo (I won't call it a blockade) for everything. Again, his own internal embargo is designed to keep Cubans helpless, isolated, hungry, and weak so nobody can revolt against his satanic persona. To add insult to injury, he will send the Cuban people resources and property to the State of Quintana Roo in Mexico where he has many allies because they have been feeding on the misery of Cuba, no resource in that affected area of Mexico will ever exist if a free Cuba were owner of its own resources and destiny. He is dealing under the table with Fox and Felix Gonzalez Cantu, his ally crook the governor of Quintana Roo. They have a three way card monte scam in place at the expense of the pain, the hunger, the disgraces, and the blood of the Cuban people. Apparently the looters and other vandals in Mexico need medication and health professionals. I hope the Cuban doctors sent to Mexico can get as quickly as possible to the US border and defect.

Saving the boats for a better day at sea

These are two boats in el Malecon, Havana:

This other boat is being taken to safety in Pinar del Rio:

I hope that one day they can make it here, safely...
Thanks to my friend in Havana who compiled today's photos.

Gone with the wind: no more tobacco

The internationally famous tobacco industry is gone, too.

Evacuation in Pinar del Rio Cuba

Is this a civilian protection plan to evacuate the citizens or a military round up? Do not miss the key for the answer to that rhethorical question: Look at the window bars in the buses.

Close up

This is one of the latest "portraits" of Wilma. The western portion of Cuba can be seen at the right upper corner of the photograph. There are no clear reports on what's happening in Cuba, and the evacuation figures are not very consistent. Let's hope for the best for them. Let's hope that no one decided to take a raft trip through the Straits of Death during this particular seasson. Let's hope kagasstro is finally put off by the forces of God and Nature.
And now, between Wilma and Alpha:

Where's the outrage?

I love the selective outrage that one sees in everything Middle Eastern or Muslim.
No outrage whatsoever when four American contractors were lynched and burned in Falujah before being hung from a bridge in a public display of savagery. Outrage when American soldiers burn rotting corpses of terrorists found in the mountains of Afghanistan.
Outrage when Americans give kids candy and school supplies in Iraq -mainly from Al-Jazeera and their resonance boxes in the American liberal press, not a lot of scandal or outrage when terrorists blow kids up with their car bombs in Iraq. There's no outrage when a Palestinian baby is used to hide a grenade, by his own mother. No outrage when Palestinian civilians are used as human shields by Hamas and others of the same breed. Much less when they blow up in the air when a bomb making factory in the middle of a residential area goes awry and more Palestinians die. And there's no outrage when terrorists kill children of any nationality in that region or elsewhere. It's all part of the "armed struggle".
But then, I cannot be selective. There's no outrage about the Cuban political prisoners in a hunger strike, or about the Cuban kid who drowned while the boat in which he was coming to the States capsizes in the ocean. Not to mention the lack of outrage about the repression in Cuba if you like certain types of music. No outrage when you cannot access the internet from Cuba or have a blog from Cuba. There's outrage when somebody denounces kagasstro as the killer he is. There's also a lot of outrage when a bunch of commies are prevented from traveling to Cuba.
There's outrage in the border with Mexico. Not against the illegals or against the coyotes who exploit them, but against the Border Patrol. On the other hand, there's no outrage because of the dry-foot wet-foot regulation. The press actually equates politicals refugees from Cuba, where there's a dictatorship, with economical migrants from Mexico, where there's democracy.
Isn't this outrageous?

What the tourist doesn't see.

This is a poor Cuban family evacuating on an oxcart. The tourists don't even look at this, they are sipping drinks and reading international magazines without even looking at the surrounding landscape when they are whizzed by on a big airconditioned tour bus own by the goverment. The Cubans are fending for themselves, staying in their houses hiding from the neighbourhood snitches or leaving by their own means. In other places, famous for being wasp nests of anticagastrism, the population is forced to evacuate with the solo purpose of having them under total control. Valeriano Weyler did in the last years of the nineteenth century. He couldn't defeat the Cuban rebels fighting against the Spanish Crown. So he sent their families to concentration camps to try to break their spirit down. A failure. Winston Churchill took note of this when he visited Cuba as a young officer. The recipe was applied in South Africa during the Boer War, and in Europe, where the nazis used concentration camps to control and doblegate the population or the prisoners of war. This is certainly the first time in which a nation that is not at war establishes camps where to intern the population. At this moment, kagasstro knows that God is the one sending a force to deal with him. He fears Mother Nature, but in his arrogance he compares himself to God with no qualms. He knows that Mother Nature will light the spark needed for his ultimate demise, which will not happen in a hospital bed!

Wilma - another nail in the coffin

<--- RECENT COLLAPSE IN LA HABANA
Like EVERYTHING to do with Kuba very little makes sense as to the information you get out of the island.

I just spoke to my family (who sent me an email to call URGENTLY) the reason for the call is that they are being forced to evacuate areas in La Habana where no evacuations have been forced before. The order is pretty much .. "LEAVE the house jump in the truck and do not look back."

Now, this is RATHER peculiar because you would think that Dennis would had cause this kind of reaction, but Wilma?

The god damn thing is in las quimbambas as far as La Habana is concerned so why this sudden panic attack on the part of the SUMO HIJO DE PUTA?.

Doing some digging it appears that there have been torrential rains throughout Kuba in the last 3 weeks, NON stop, this after a drought of over a year so the people who know about these things tell me this is a recipe for disaster. I guess El KaSStrisimo fears that even if Wilma just hits La Habana with a little more rain, that the damages will be disastrous.

Why "evacuate" now with such force and callousness when the cyclone doesn’t even threat Kuba directly? The only assumption from those inside the Gulag is that any more building collapses MAY bring a full out revolt and well, we all know that the "evacuation system" in Kuba is akin to the "relocation system" Hitler had for the Jewish population. It was not designed to HELP it was designed to CONTROL. Get them in the corral before the shit hits the fan.

Although it is early to tell EL SUMO has not issued any personal messages to the people and la Habana is indeed in a state of panic. The personal message I got from my family was “We love you and please do not worry if you don’t hear from us" To ME THAT is SCARY! Quite a different message I got when Dennis was blasting them.

The other news is that Holguin is also in the middle of torrential rains and a local 15 year old hospital lost its roof last night - poof GONE- send patients back home 'cause we do not know how long this is gonna hold up.

If Wilma's projected path deviates 20 miles south and it hits La Habana with full force a LOT of people will have no place to return to so they will be kept in "protective custody"

Things are taking a VERY strange turn in the island, and I urge you if you DO have relatives there to try to get in touch with them NOW and hear first hand what they are going through

Make a Cuban happy.

All of our readers know by now our stance in the "travel to Cuba" issue. We have our brotherly differences with other bloggers and with other Cubans, inside and outside the island. We are sometimes outsiders, most of the time insiders, and at all times we defend the people of Cuba from the rape and plunder they are subject not only by the tyranny, but also from the lefto-pinkos who don't give a flying fuck about them.

Now, look at what I am going to post.
But first let us remind everybody of our position: we believe that one should be able to travel back to Cuba with the objectives of diseminating the truth, dispelling the myths put in place by the tyranny, counteracting on the communist propaganda, and show the people of Cuba that the chain of fear has to be broken. Again, we respect the different opinions of others on this subject. Having said that, we condemn all attempts to break American law, all attempts to support the tyranny of kagasstro, and all attemp to royally fuck the Cuban people. That's the objective of all these pinkos. They don't care about the political prisoners. They don't care about the children growing in divided families because one parent is in jail, or in exile, they don't give a shit about the lacks of liberties, about the lack of rights, about the lack of future.

They really don't care.
They only care to travel to a forbidden island. Fuck the natives. They have a dictatorship? Tough, the pinkos just want to have some fun, and exploit the natives in the meantime.
They will go and dance with the tyrant. And I hope this time aroud he breaks his neck.
They are not going to visit a prison. They are not going to visit a dissident, they are not going to tell the Cuban people how great is to live in freedom, and much less, they are not going to give them any moral or material support to fight and destroy the dictatorship.
No, on the contrary, they want the tyranny in place, so they can go and dance and drink mojitos without having to respect the pesky natives of the quaint island.
This is very different from a Cuban visiting his family, helping them, and ultimately fostering a movement to defeat the system. On the contrary this has been designed to keep the Cuban people in chains and to drain their bodies of any blood left after the assault.

Read, be enraged, act. Punch a liberal, make a Cuban happy!

Cuban Blood Boils
Here's something to get you all riled up for the weekend, via commenter Retread, from LGF, we have the following:

Join CODEPINK for New Year’s in Cuba December 27-January 2, 2006
Cuba is one of the most beautiful and fascinating countries on Earth—and George Bush says you can’t go there. Well, we’re going anyway, and we invite you to join us!

This New Year’s CODEPINK will be organizing a large group of fun-loving and freedom-loving Americans to break George Bush’s ban on travel to Cuba. Join co-founders Medea Benjamin and Jodie Evans, together with Academy Award winning producer Paul Haggis, as we visit with farmers at their co-ops, doctors at their family clinics, dancers at the National Folklore Group, and young people at the ballpark. Don’t miss this historic chance to dance salsa, drink mojitos, and visit beautiful beaches—all while defending our constitutionalrights!!!

Hey, no trips to the gulags? No visits with dissidents? What about the Ladies in White, ladies?

The federal restrictions barring travel to Cuba are not only counterproductive and outmoded in this post-Cold War context, but also a violation of our constitutional freedom to travel.

Yes, because it's all about you, right Pinkies? Guess those women in Cuba that have to sell themselves for basic necessities will just have to wave at ya'll from afar? Unless, of course, you will be acquiring their services, ladies.

The Bush administration says we can only travel to Cuba if we have immediate family there. Well, we do. Cubans ARE family—Somos Familia. And while we’re there, we’ll be holding a mutual adoption ceremony in order to demonstrate that family transcends political boundaries. In the ceremony, each participant will be paired with a Cuban brother or sister. After all, we are all part of one human family and there should be no artificial barriers dividing us.

Well alright!!! Somos familia!!! Make sure you try to bring your newly adopted family member back for a visit to the states.

This historic opportunity to visit Cuba will cost approximately $1,500 (to Cancun) or $1,800 (to Mexico City). Participants will fly out of three points of entry: San Francisco, Los Angeles, and New York. We will all meet in Mexico City, where we will then take a chartered flight to Havana. Our trip this New Years will truly be a family affair. Feel free to bring children, parents, partners, neighbors, and friends. It is a trip designed for all ages, interests, and backgrounds (family rates available).
After seven action-packed days on this wonderful island, we will re-enter the United States through these same three points of entry. This re-entry will be a powerful challenge to Bush’s restrictive policies that deny us our fundamental liberty to travel where we please. Though past high-profile “travel challenge” groups have experienced no adverse legal consequences to date, we will have our lawyers ready at each airport of entry to provide legal aid, if necessary.
Because we will be traveling to Cuba without government permission (i.e. a license from the US treasury), CODEPINK participants will be breaking the embargo and therefore subject to civil penalties. (For further questions on the legal implications of unauthorized travel to Cuba, check out www.nlg.org/cuba). With these risks in mind, your participation in our trip is a crucial protest in the growing movement to end the travel ban.
We expect a huge response to this trip, so get your applications in early. Also year–end travel gets booked up VERY early (especially the return flights after New Years), so make your plans early! We look forward to spending some marvelous days together, while pushing to overturn a policy that keeps us from building bonds of friendship with our neighbors.

If you are interested in participating in this trip, please contact Dana (at) codepinkalert.org. You can also reach Dana by calling the CODEPINK office at (310) 827-4320.

I cant even begin to express the rage I am feeling at this very moment. To the Codepink ladies, in typical leftist fashion, its all about THEIR right to travel. It's all about THEIR freedom to do what the want. THEIR freedom to exploit an entire country's population to further a political agenda.

If you have ever contacted your House Representative or Senator or anyone in government through this blog before, I urge each and every one of you to do so.

And, I urge you all to contact CodePink and let them know this travesty will not go unanswered:

Dana (at) codepinkalert.org. You can also reach Dana by calling the CODEPINK office at (310) 827-4320.

BTW, the comments thread at LGF is excellent.

Senators - http://www.senate.gov/

What's the word for it?

How do you call it when you're a disgraced republican politician -Tom DeLay- and you have to show up in court, just to find that your judge is someone who donates heavily not only to the 'Rats, but to Moveon.org?
I guess that you called it something like Circus Maximus, Coliseum, The Shreder, Grinding Machine, The Talcum Factory, or a Pool o' Sharks.
I wouldn't like to be in his shoes. I hope his lawyers can ask for a change of venue or he might have go down to Havana and get his justice administered there, the results are going to be more or less the same. Talk about forgetting that everyone's pressumed innocent until proven guilty!

No summer camp

Nobody told you that Gitmo Bay was a summer camp for terrorists and wannabe killers.
Well, apparently some of them have that idea in mind, what a pity.
I read something about some guy from Barhain who is complaining about sex torture. I thought that he was raped by fellow terrorists, since they are prone to that kind of thing among them even when they are not kept in the kennel. Not a single complain about that, apparently they are getting a lot of one on one terrorist action.
He said, instead, that he was interrogated in the buff by a female interrogator that gave him some sort of lap dance. Better than in many American clubs, where total nudity is not allowed, I would tell Ahmed to shut up and enjoy. Then he goes on and says that he was forced to watch a man and a woman having sex and that was promised sex with the woman if he cooperate. He didn't cooperate thinking that he would get sex with the man, apparently. No luck for Ahmed in either department, so he went back to Saalim in the cell block. The interrogators need to be more culturally sensitive, most of those suckers are into man on man and bestialism, that's all they get in those terrorist camps from where the hotties are banned, totally banned.
In case that one believe all that bullshit, one can say a thing or two... What about all of those newstands in every major American city owned by Muslims and full of porn? One passes by, and there they are, a buch of them rewrapping magazines after looking at them. So don't tell me that Allah gets offended because you are a porn addict. Then you have another group of them keeping their women under burqas and kicking the living daylights out of their wits, but they go to slimy porn movie houses, and go after the most pathetic looking crackhead street walkers and even trannies.
The whole thing is a tonne of fresh camel manure.
A society that mistreats women that way, where gang rape on a female is a method to punish a male relative, where honor killings are the norm, and where practices like female genital mutilation, castration to turn guys into eunuchs, child molestation, stoning and the like are part of their fatalistic way of life, that's not an incubator of honorable men. No doubts about that.

Absurd?

This is another one to file in your KillChavez folder....
El Mico Putumayo says now that he wouldn't be surprised if the U.S. of A. says that Osama bin Laden is living in all comfort in a government palace in Caracas. That's a major statement, Mico. Maybe you are right, and we just need to wait for you, kagasstro and prick laden to get a substitute for Satan Hussein, and get all of you while you play dominoes. That wouldn't be such a bad idea, Mico....
It's incredible how this guy always find an audience. This time around, his clown act had Paris City Hall serving as a three ring circus. What really surprises me is that cagasstro is giving him so much leeway when he knows that the guy's a donkey.
Who knows if el Mico blew off all the gaskets and he really knows where Osama Prick Laden is. I would not be surprised if cagasstro is in the know, and much less if these two vaudeville tyrants are accomplices of Osama. They were accomplices (and they still are) of Satan Hussein. The only difference is that Satan didn't have time to flee. They should be smarter and learn from the example of Satan. They are so arrogant that really think that they are untouchable. Breaking News: That was a Hollyweird movie.
Note to the military and the intelligence community: maybe behind this blunt declaration there's some true. Let's see....

Hanging out.

So, the liberals want to make Bono one of their poster boys. Well, guess what, Bush invited him to hang out a the White House yesterday. Since Bush doesn't seem too eager to invite others, this is clearly showing a great connection between these two men, who by the way has more goals in common than whatever's told by your favourite liberal rag.
Enjoy the photo and the article.
And think about the long list of people from Hollyweird that will never set foot in the White House under this administration, they are secretly green with envy now.

WASHINGTON (Oct. 19) - Bono may not have had to sing for his meal, but the U2 rocker had the ear of President Bush over lunch Wednesday.

In town to perform a concert, Bono was invited to the White House residence to follow up on discussions he and Bush had at the Group of Eight summit in Gleneagles, Scotland, in July, White House spokesman Scott McClellan said.

"Both share a deep commitment to combating AIDS, preventing malaria, and expanding trade to lift people out of poverty, particularly in developing countries," McClellan said.

Might he be considered for an administration job?

"I haven't heard that," McClellan told reporters. "I think he's enjoying the career that he has right now and doing all the good work that he does on behalf of people who are suffering in developing countries."

10/19/05 16:

Letter to Mr. Gonzalez.

To Emilio T. Gonzalez,
(Nominated for Head of the) USCIS, Homeland Security.

I am writing this short letter before your nomination is finally approved by the Senate, of which I am pretty confident of a positive outcome for you, the nation, and the would be immigrants to this country. And about them is what I would like to talk about, a sector of the would be immigrants to this country that are being discriminated against, the Cuban rafters.

We have a law, the Cuban Adjustment Act (President Lyndon B. Johnson, 1966) that gives permission to all Cubans to seek refuge in the States. On the other hand with have an executive order signed by William Jefferson Clinton, which sends Cubans catch on both territorial waters and international waters back to Cuba, where they are subject to the usual inhumane practices of repression, as it is typical of the communist tyranny that is in place in that country.

The aforementioned ordinance contradicts all the principles of the foundation of this country from the first colonists of the Mayflower, to the Founding Fathers, to the several thousands of immigrants that made America the land into the United States of America the nation. The Cuban community has achieved a lot -in all fields- in this country, and it is beneficial for this country to attract and keep all the talent and courage of the Cuban nationals that try to make it to the United States, instead of sending them back to linger in a fear based police state just 90 miles to the South.

Cubans have never let down their adopted homeland, the wet-foot dry-foot policy is instead creating an anti-American sentiment in the only country in Latin America that was not anti-American. The Cuban people cannot revolt against the tyranny for lack of material possibilities, international support, and most importantly, because the tyranny have implemented the worst repressive regime in the world, where misery, scarcity, deprivations, fear, hunger, pressure onto the common folk come as integral parts of the political method of choice to keep and iron grip on the throat of the Cuban people.

Please do everything that is in your hands to nullify the wet-foot dry-foot policy. It's not beneficial for the U.S. and it's not beneficial for the victims of the only communist tyranny in this continent headed by a sworn enemy of his people and the United States. We should not be serving his victims back to him on a silver tray to be devoured by that monster.

Please let President Bush know about the drama and the plight of the Cuban people.
Please ask President Bush to rescind this inhumane policy immediately. He will have the gratitude of all Cubans forever.

Sincerely,
Charlie Bravo.

Wilma

Wilma is barrelling in full force against a few Caribbean islands, then it will hit Cuba and Florida.
Maybe this time around a hurricane sweeps fidel cagastro from once and all, for good. The Cuban people cannot sustain more natural disasters beating on them, without a consequence for the tyranny. The political grip will be broken by a natural disaster, since no hard edged action is been taken to distroy the repressive regime and the inhabitants of Cuba don't have the capacity to revolt because the balance between the power structures and the population is disproportionally in favour of the dictatorship forces.
Scarcity and deprivation are tools and weapons of the government used to keep a political grip and to perpetuate the rule of fidel cagastro over a population that cannot defend itself, much less revolt. The catalyzing element to make the people of Cuba burst and break its chains is therefore a natural disaster.
We need to be well prepared to face the humanitarian crisis that will ensue.
At that point, a civilian invasion of the island would be needed to provide the population with the needed resources for the reconstruction of a free Cuba.

Smuggled video decrys Cuban executions.

The families of the men called "esos tres negritos" with such disdain by their executioner, fidel cagastro, testified in the U.S via a smuggled video in an attempt to sue the dictarship that rules Cuba.
Whenever somebody tries to tell you that Cuban are coming here just for economic reasons, refer them to this post. Those men were executed for being black while trying to leave Cuba. This is simply the reason why cagasstro himself ordered them to be slaughtered in the paredon. Slaughter the black sheep. For being black and for refusing to be herded.
Now, where the hell is Louis Farrakhan in this one? Or Jesse Jackson, Charlie Rangel, Al Sharpton, or any other (so called and self appointed) leader of the American Black community? Where the hell are Harry Belafonte and Danny Glover? What's going on guys? Three Cuban blacks are not black enough to be considered blacks per your standards? Or is it that if they oppose cagasstro and love America they don't fit in your agenda? So, what did you do when they were killed?
There was no mention of them in Oprah.
Spike Lee didn't make a statement, or anounced that he would make a movie.
Don't tell me that there's no summary executions in Cuba.
Don't tell me that there's no racial discrimination in Cuba.
Don't tell me that Cuban blacks support cagasstro.
Look at the prisioners of conscience.
So idiotic liberals and retarded 'Rats, whenever your stupid blob of a brain surprises the rest of your body by thinking or saying that Bush is a racist, look at the number (and quality) of American Blacks in positions of political or economical power. Done? Well, now turn around, look at the politically opressed and economically deprived Cuban population, whites, Asians, and blacks (and the whole rainbow in between) and tell me that cagasstro is not a racist.
Actually, the govermnet of the U.S. should take the families left behind by those men into a political asylum program and whisk them out of Cuba.
Those young men were assassinated just to try to make and example out of their deaths. The example is clear to me: if you are trying to leave Cuba fight till the end, maybe you can escape the island. In the case you can't escape, face your captors, if they kill you, it would be struggling to break yourself free of the monster (and if you survive that would mean that you scaped and now you're free) if they don't kill you and you surrender, well, you got to live another day, but sooner or later you will see the executioner really close, way too close for comfort.

Smuggled video decrys Cuban executions
Washington | October 18, 2005 12:01:13 AM IST

Relatives of three Cubans executed for a trying to hijack a boat to the United States in 2003 testified in their damage suit on a video smuggled out of Cuba.

The poor-quality video was played Monday in Washington at a hearing of the Inter-American Commission of Human Rights, an arm of the Organization of American States. A Cuban opposition group produced the video, The Miami Herald reported.

I cry every day, said the grandmother of one of the executed men. I would say that what I am suffering is the fault of the comandante, she said in referring to Cuban leader Fidel Castro.

The petitioners asked the the commission to order Cuba to pay reparations. Cuba does not recognize the commission's authority.

Lorenzo Copello, Barbaro Sevilla and Jorge Martinez were tried and executed by firing squad nine days after the April 2003 attempted hijacking

The United States and other governments condemned the executions, which Cuba said were necessary to stop a mass exodus.

Spanglish a lo Cubano

Or faithful reader and frequent commentator, Tocororo Libre, has brought a new window on Cuba to the blogosphere, his site Spanglish a lo Cubano is the newest jewel in the blogging world crown.
In his last issue, he has a heartfelt essay on one of the Cuban glories of popular music, Richard Egues. He also has his "declaration of principles", to which I will add, "Don't mess with El Tocororo!".
Tocororo, welcome to the blogosphere and congratulations for (and good luck with) your new blog. To all the readers, go visit Spanglish a lo Cubano, and enjoy the work of Tocororo Libre.

Gabriel and the Jinetera

Well, all our Anglo readers know what a jinetera is. If you don't, the word is a cubanism for street-walking whore, sidewalk harlot, curbside crumpet, rent-a-cunt, whatever word you want to use to describe a prostitute.
Then we have Gabriel. That's the first name of an old fart in his last leg, whose Nobel prize I have in high doubts. His complete moniker is Gabriel Garcia Marquez, and his Nobel prize had -like all literature Nobel prizes- a political tint going towards the red. Bloody red that is. The fellow, for the uninitiated knowledge, lives most of his time in Cuba, where he is friends with that asshat of kagasstro. That year the prize could have gone to Octavio Paz. But well, Octavio Paz had a very marked adversion to communism. Besides, Gabriel is no Borges.
Introductions done, Gabriel's last book is called "Memorias de mis putas tristes". Or "Memories of my sad whores". Of course they were sad Gabriel, they got to get you laid for money and it's said that you are not well endowed, well versed in the arts of love, and that you are famously cheap. No more explainations, you are what in Cuba they call in hablanero, un mala hoja, or somebody that is sadly bad in bed. Like your famous friend kagasstro. That's what his lovers over the years have said. Worst possible sex, in a hurry and with the freaking combat boots on.
This old geezer writes kind of an autobiography of sorts in which he portraits himself as a 90 year-old that buys the virginity of a 14 year-old girl, Delgadina, from a "reputable madam". Of course he cannot perform.... and the poor girl is happy about that lack of ability.
The old lizzard goes into a novel about child prostitution. Child sexual abuse. And he does it in a fictional country without giving us any detail on the geographical location, but going by the Spanish names one can tell that it's in a Latin American locale. He of course has a lot of good material where to drive his inspiration from. Cuba. The unfortunate island is one of the poles in the world for underage prostitution, male, female, homosexual, transexual, whatever the pervert might fancy. Just behind Brazil and Thailand, there's Cuba. Of course Gabriel Garcia Marquez doesn't denounce this kind of abuse, and much less the political situation that leads to the origin of this problem in Cuba: fidel cagasstro. Abortion is rampant, and that's part of the same problem. Gabriel Garcia Marquez is also part of the problem, he doesn't use his soapbox to denounce it and much less to denounce the maximum pimp in chief, his friend cagasstro. Was the scenario of the novel Cuba and the inspiration a poor jinetera girl in iniciation? I fear they were...
It's for something that in that island of Cuba, that poor island, there's the most incredible thing in the world happening as you read this: Some teenager is killing him-herself, maybe out of shame or desperation.
Cuba is the place in the world where suicide is the first cause of death of teens. The majority of the population in Cuba is 13 or older, so that's also why Cuba has the absolute maximum suicide index in the world, specially female suicide. A Cuban woman is more likely to die by her own hand than by natural causes. One could say that it's also very natural to kill yourself when you live under such conditions, just out of desperation.
My recomendation is that if a Cuban wants to kill him-herself, instead of resorting to a violent method to end life, get on a raft. It's almost suicidal, but with luck you get to the States and then you will have the chance to have a bright, sparking brand new life in front of you.

Welcome to the secret world of Robert Alonso

Robert Alonso lives in a secret world that from today on, is your world too if you look for his link in the blogroll.
His head has a hefty price tag in Cuba, and he is a wanted man in Venezuela.
Robert made a great documentary that KillCastro reviews in the following post (at the end of which you will find a link to the page)and amongst many essays and books there are several that deal with the contemporary history of Cuba and Venezuela.
There's a monumental work in his website, it is "Los Generales de castro" or "castro's generals". In that book, Alonso dissects the Angolan War, the struggles for power inside the cupola of the Communist Party, and the shady deals of the informers and international black marketers in Africa.
His website is loaded with interesting stories and it's a trove of important information about the personality of cagastro and his ruthless aproach to international relations.
I could write many pages on Robert Alonso, but if I had to say only one word to you it would be: "read". It's an investment in historical knowledge, political culture, and overall, it's a testimony of the occult dealings in the politics of Latin America, with cagastro in its epicenter.
Welcome Robert Alonso, to the screens of our readers.

Posada-Carriles Innocence – Deconstructing KaSStro's lie

An EXTREMELY important and historically essential documentary has been submitted to us by a reader. This piece of historic reportage was carefully, precisely and meticulously researched by unbiased individuals after the 1976 explosion of Cubana de Aviacion DC-8 over Guyana.

This documentary has been gathering dust for 25 years. It has been seen only by a few individuals and publicly broadcasted without much fanfare in only 5 countries (the USA one of them) . The fact that with the resurging uproar about Posada-Carriles this thorough investigation as to the incidents of that fateful day have not been revived and rebroadcast to a wider audience is inexplicable.

The documentary, survived a “cultural purge” by military forces of el Putumayo Chavez. A copy made it to the free world, and it is shown here again after being relegated to the dust bin of history for a quarter of a century.

The documentary has been edited to reflect more thorough findings and investigative proof that has surfaced since it was originally filmed, but it does maintain the integrity of the original work.

The documentary is in Spanish, and working on a translation of this magnitude is something better left to an honest and unbiased organization who is more interested in discovering the truth of what really happen to that plane, than it does about reciting KaSStro’s propaganda about HIS version of what happened.

For the benefit of those who read us in English I will try to convey some key points in this investigation that up until now have gone TOTALLY ignored by the press of the USA (I won’t mention the press of any other Latin American country, cause we all know where THEY stand)

Please bear with me as the cast of characters and interactions between them reads like the most complicated James Bond novel you could ever read, and some of it is so intricate that only by watching the documentary several times did I come to realize how powerful this piece of work is , not only in absolving ALL of those falsely accused of blowing up the plane but also of pointing a direct finger to KaSStro himself as the mediator of the massacre :

1) On Oct 6 1976 a Cubana de Aviacion DC-8 from Barbados, had a stop over on Guyana. At that point a group of 7 uniformed men in Khaki garb board the plane. These men died during the explosion.

2) Fidel Castro published 63 photos of those who according to his official version died in the terrorist attack; however the group of 7 men who boarded the plane in Guyana was never documented or even reported as part of the victims. The factual existence of these men was captured on film by one of the men accused of conspiracy in the explosion: Herman Ricardo . So, these men EXISTED, and DID board the plane in Guyana. Why their existence has been kept a secret is a mystery only KaSStro knows.

Who were these men? This mystery gave a solid footing to a theory by Robert Alonso (Cuban exiled resident of Venezuela) , documented in his book “Castro’s Generals”

Robert Alonso was interviewed by Channel 22 in Miami in Aug 2005 and reiterated and clarified his hypothesis as to the truth of the disaster.

Alonso describes that the root of complicity and deceit surrounding the facts falls squarely in Venezuelan authorities and Castro’s influence in Venezuelan politics even back in 1976. Robert Alonso is a wanted man both in Venezuela and Cuba . Chavez accusing him of preparing in his own ranch in Venezuela Para-military troops to overthrow his regime. Castro on his part has put a price on his head , because his book is a devastating account of Castro’s participation in the blowing up of the plane.

With past information and brand new investigation Alonso emphatically proves that it was NOT Posada Carriles it was NOT Bosh who blew up the Cubana plane it was in fact FIDEL CASTRO who committed this despicable act.
Immediately after the explosion was determined to be cause by a terrorist act , four men are accused of the act :
Luis Posada-Carriles as its intellectual mastermind
Orlando Bosch as an indirect accomplice and enabler
Hernan Ricardo & Freddy Lugo (both Venezuelan) who were accused of carrying out the actual sabotage.

Hernan Ricardo & Freddy Lugo worked directly for D.I.S.I.P which at the time was the intelligence agency in Venezuela.

Castro’s immediate reaction was to accuse Posadas –Carriles and Orlando Bosch of the explosion, with absolutely no proof whatsoever of either actual participation , complicity or even knowledge of the sabotage.

Four years transpired in which investigations, conjectures, accusations are slung back and forth between Cuba and Venezuela. At that time, a report produced by the Royal Armament Research Development Establishment (R.A.R.D.E) on behalf of the Barbados government. the investigation was conducted by an expert in Aeronautical disasters named Erick Newton (of British nationality) surfaces ( it had been under raps by the Venezuelan government for those 4 years)

Some important facts about the explosion:
It was caused by common commercial dynamite (this is a CRITICAL fact)

The bomb could NOT have been placed in the interior cabin bathroom. This again is a CRITICAL fact that exonerates Hernan Ricardo & Freddy Lugo, since the whole case against them resides on the fact that they placed a small amount of C-4 explosives inside a photo camera that as left in the plane’s bathroom. Castro’s version is that the bomb in a rear bathroom cause the explosion but the explosion tracks clearly indicate the bomb explode under the airplane as fragments of plastic and luggage where blown upwards against the cabin and were found embedded in the bodies of the victims . Had the explosion occurred in the rear bathroom the explosion trajectory would have been horizontal to the cabin and not in an upward vertical trajectory.

Two facts are derived from this investigation. Hernan Ricardo was incapable of putting common commercial dynamite in the underbelly of the plane since he never had access to it.

During the investigation , (R.A.R.D.E) informs the Castro government that they can easily recuperate the fuselage of the plane and retrieve not only more evidence but also the bodies of the dead so they can be properly buried in Cuba. Castro refuses saying, that that is a sacred tomb and should not be investigated any further. R.A.R.D.E finds this reaction highly suspicious and makes a report to that fact , going as far as suspecting that there was something in the wreckage that Castro is trying to hide.

After all of the facts surface the Venezuelan government led by Luis Herrera Campin , requests that Robert Alonso produce a documentary detailing the findings , the innocence of the accused and the highly suspicious attitude of Fidel Castro in respect to the tragedy. Herrera Campin’s reasoning was to establish in a public documentary the absolute innocence of the accused and to leave no doubt to the Venezuelan people and to Latin American governments that none of the accused had anything to do with the bombing. The request to produce this documentary went beyond the requirements to proof the innocence of the accused but it was done as a good will gesture on the part of the Venezuelan president so there would be absolutely NO doubts that the Venezuelan government had acted in a most transparent and legally proper manner in the absolution of the accused.

The official source of information liaison given to Robert Alonso was Elios Garcia Barrios. Elios Garcia Barrios had been a sympathizer and close friend of Castro with a long history of favoritism and trips to Cuba sponsored by Castro. Photographs of Garcia-Barrios effusively embracing Castro are shown in the documentary.

At the beginning on Alonso’s investigation he receives a n official note from his APPOINTED liaison, in which he is informed he will not have access to official documents, witnesses nor to official personnel who were part of the trial. At this point the Venezuelan government recants on the need for a documentary and pays Alonso for already incurred expenses and summarily tells him to STOP all investigations…

I will continue this narrative as time permits but for those who speak Spanish I recommend you visit the following links:

Here you will find irrefutable proof that KaSStro has been manipulating the destiny of Venezuela ( and of many Latin American countries) years before Chavez came to power !

New Yuck Times

The commie rag Pravda on the Hudson, a.k.a. New York Times, is today echoing some "news" about a "unusually high turn out" in the Iraqi referendum for the constitution. They are practically calling for a recount, even if they try to place the words in the mouth of Iraqi officials. I think that their association with Al Gore has made them confuse the free willing Iraqis with hysterical 'Rats from suburban Florida.
They certainly don't understand the needs of the common folk when it comes to freedom and self determination. On the other hand, that same rag tots the "achievements" of kagasstro's "revolution" to no end, and marvels of the "99% turn out of Cuban {so called} elections".
So, whenever you need to wrap fish, resource to the New York Times.
It's not even good to be put on public toilets' stalls.

Today in the Senate.

Now we have a Cuban to whom we should write about the nullification of the dry foot wet foot regulation. Emilio T. Gonzalez, from Miami, was chosen for the top immigration jon and will appear today Tuesday 18th, before the U.S. Senate to seek confirmation as head of a Homeland Security immigration unit, after President Bush nominated him to direct the Department of Homeland Security's U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services. If confirmed, he will follow the steps of another Cuban exile, Eduardo Aguirre from Houston, who was the USCIS' first director after Sept 11 2001. Mr Aguirre is now the U.S. ambassador to Spain.
González graduated from the University of South Florida, class of 1977 with a bachelor's degree in international relations. An army colonel with a long career, he taught at West Point and has served as military attaché at the U.S. embassies in Mexico and El Salvador. After serving in the Southern Command, he obtained a master's degree in Latin American studies at Tulane University and a Ph.D in international affairs at the University of Miami. Where he graduated with a dissertation analyzing the Salvadoran military institutions. Interestingly -and heartwrenchingly for kagasstro- González wrote an essay titled: "The Cuban Connection: Drug Trafficking and the Castro Regime".
In 2002, González became a director for Western Hemisphere affairs at the National Security Council. With such background, let's see if Mr. Gonzalez changes the President's mind in relationship with the balseros, that's long overdue. Do away with the dry foot wet foot regulation, Emilio!

Sometimes it is better not to read the news...

Really.
Sometimes it is better not to read the news.
I got wind that now kagasstro is asking the Catholic Church for help with the epidemic of abortions in Cuba. Well, let me tell y'all... the abortions in Cuba are controlled by the state. Y'all guessed right... the State is personified in that undead corpse that is kagasstro. He is the one who kicked the Church out. The same one who prosecuted the Catholics and all other Christians, the one that manipulates the statistics of live births, abortions, alcoholism and suicide in that country.
He is the one who has kept religious education forbidden.
The one who sent young boys and girls to work in the country side with little supervision, far from their families, we are talking about the same guy who separate kids from their families and send them to schools in the country where they work half a day and go to school the other half a day, and where they are under an intern regime with very little supervision. Sex, unexperience, youth, lack of religious moral... all together. Would you be surprised if abortions creep into the equation. I bet you wouldn't.
Sex for sale. Sex tourism, underage prostitution, despair. That equals to abortions.
Hunger, sex for sale, sex tourism, scarcity, prostitution, despair. That equals to abortion, too. Not a single respite of freedom, no electricity, repression, bad qualities of life, sex as a scape, that would lead you to abortions.
And the Church? Well, you are marked as a human being if you go to church. Maybe you believe in God, and the social fear mounts and it doesn't allow you to go to church, you cry, scape in a haze of sex, and there comes the abortion again.
I am so sorry kagasstro was not a miscarriage.

Chavez and Mugabe: communist horseplay

They look way too friendly to me. Chavez has that need to touch other men all the time that makes him a bit suspicious.... Mugabe, well, he is a total monster, so what morals would you attach to him. This shot (we wish it had been a real shot of a bullet, or a hail of bullets) was taken in Rome, where they show up to disgrace the Eternal City. Call them Vandals at the Gates, if you will...
They went to the FAO (Food and Agriculture Organization) meeting, and their most creative tirade besides sanctifying kagasstro was to declare that Bush and Blair were like Hitler and Mussolini. Well, Bobby Mugabe, Bush and Blair cancelled the whole debt of your continent, and you probably pocketed a chuck of the money. Your people are hungry by your hand, and they are raped and murdered by your thugs. Mudered by the AIDS with which your thugs infect their victims of rape. Talk about rape and plunder. I wouldn't be surprised if you sell slaves to el Mico Putumayo. So friendly that you guys are.
Again, kagasstro didn't show up in Rome. Why? He fears Berlusconi as much as he fears the tribunal in Spain, Tony Blair and George Bush. What a coward.
All three of them, el Mico, kagastro, and Robert Massacre Mugabe rule over famished peoples, that's their achievement, the socialization of misery, and the making of misery into a political weapon, so they can control their oponents and abuse the population.
I wish that the hopeful candidate for the mayoral elections in Miami Joe Ferrero is reading this. These guys are material for his practical jokes and pranks in his show el Vacilón de la Mañana, Miami edition. Go after them Joe.... Tell Mr. Mugabe that this is Chavez on the line... Yeah, we also have fidel....

Interesting times....

The following story promises to have a very interesting start, an even more interesting development and a fascinating ending. The sons of a Cuban American Iraq veteran were granted permission to leave Cuba to visit his father in the US.
Many of us remember Sargeant Lazo, whose desire to visit his sons in Cuba stirred more than one political controversy, and finally, he wised up and instead of keeping in pressing the government to have a special privilege, he got together with a few politicians and pressured on the dictatorship to be able to have two sons visit him in the U.S.
Well, he was not allowed to visit Cuba under a very clear cut law. Cuba is an enemy country, militarily speaking, and in Cuba the military officially considers the U.S. as the enemy. So a military man is not supposed to visit an enemy country (unless he is invading it or in a military reconnaissance mission) even if he was born there. I am glad that he decided to respect American law for difficult that it was for him. I am also glad that his decision of teaming up with these politicians have yield a good result for him and his family.
Now -this is my question, why is that kagasstro allowed this two young men to visit the States? They are in the dreaded military age, which in Cuba extends from 16 years old to 27 years old, and in some cases until 65 years old, if you are a scientist or a specialist. Fear the worse, there's an evil plan behind this, concocted at the expense of the life, welfare, legal status, and health of the Lazos. Nothing good can be expected from kagasstro.
Sargeant Lazo needs to be careful though, because kagasstro has no qualms in trying to use a Cuban American decorated soldier as a political pawn, and Sargeant Lazo and his sons will suffer all sort of blackmail and pressures during the next three months.
I hope that they can stay in the U.S. I respect the military service of Sargeant Lazo and I respect his desire to have his sons close to him or to visit them.
I hope that Sargeant Lazo enjoys the visit of his sons and that they enjoy the father-sons bond, especially when their father is an heroic member of the American military. I hope they can kick kagasstro's ass and that those kids can stay in the U.S to have a life in freedom. If for some reason they have to go back to Cuba, they will go back at their own risk, because with the new experiences they will have amassed during three months of freedom they will automatically become enemies of the regime. If they go back, then cagasstro will keep them hostage and he will try to blackmail Sargeant Lazo, and will try to break the discipline of a military man, trying to get him in trouble with his American superiors.
There's something very interesting in regards to the kids. One of them was sick in Cuba with a mysterious fever. My opinion? He was innoculated with some virus to try to break down the morale of his father. Curiously, the one who suffered the strange fevers was the younger one, according to my experience, this was a carefully designed psych op against a single man, in order to soften whatever his stance could be. And of course to make kagasstro appear as a fatherly figure, even taking care of the son of an enemy.

My best wishes to the Lazos.
I hope they can stay together in the States.
Plenty of surprises to come in this case, from Friday on, we live in interesting times...

Sons of Iraq Vet to Leave Cuba for Visit

By MATTHEW DALY Associated Press WriterOctober 17, 2005, 7:59 PM EDT
WASHINGTON -- A Cuban-American who won a Bronze Star in Iraq but was not allowed to return to his homeland to care for a sick son said Monday that his children are being allowed to visit the United States. Under an agreement with the State Department and the Cuban government, Sgt. Carlos Lazo's two sons, 17-year-old Carlos Rafael Lazo and 19-year-old Carlos Manuel Lazo, will visit for three months. Lazo, a sergeant in the Washington state National Guard, plans to fly to Miami on Friday to meet them.

The family's plight had drawn national media attention and prompted lawmakers from both parties to complain about the strict limits imposed on travel to Cuba by the Bush administration. The rules, meant to punish the Communist government of Fidel Castro, limit family visits to once every three years. "First of all, I'm very grateful for the outcome of this," Lazo said in an interview with The Associated Press. "On the other hand, I feel sad because there are thousands of Cuban-Americans -- especially in Miami -- who, due to these restrictions, cannot see their families," he said. Lazo, 40, of Seattle, came to the U.S. from Cuba by raft in 1992. Now a U.S. citizen, he works as a counselor for the state's social and health services department. He joined the National Guard in 2000 and trained as a medic. He was sent to Iraq in April 2004 and earned the Bronze Star for braving sniper fire and mortar rounds while providing medical aid to troops during a battle in Fallujah. Lazo last saw his sons in April 2003. Last year, on leave from Iraq, he flew to Miami with the intent of flying on to Havana, only to learn that the State Department had put a hold on passengers going to Cuba. He tried again last spring after hearing that his younger son was suffering from a high fever. The boy was hospitalized for 10 days, then sent home with doctors still uncertain why he was sick. Lazo thanked a host of supporters in Congress, including Rep. Jim McDermott, D-Wash., Sen. Byron Dorgan, D-N.D., Sen. Mel Martinez, R-Fla., and Rep. Jeff Flake, R-Ariz.

Medical report

With updates:
Our sources tell us what the rumor mill is carrying in Havana...
The word on the street is that kagasstro is not healing well. His knee bothers him. His knee was broken as a consecuence of the fall, that apparently happened because his hip broke and took him down.
There's a problem with blood infection and contamination of with bone marrow, all of which is increasing the circulatory and orthopaedic problems.
There are a lot of marks in his skin that are apparently produced by some liver related problems but some sources have told me not to underestimate the posibility of a carcinoma.
They have a guard with a wheel chair ready at all times, and he is rumored to be using a walker or a walking cane behind close doors. The boots are off. The sneakers are on, since his feet are swollen and affected by rheuma and gout.
The old tyrant has episodes of loosing his short term memory. Because of his incapacity to parrot data, as he used to do, he has become irritable. Falls sleep in meetings. Bursts in anger. Alzheimers anyone?
Well, that's great.
When a tyrant becomes a ridiculous babbling old man, nobody fears him anymore.
Remember, a tyranny doesn't support itself in respect. The corner stone of a tyranny is fear. And the chain of fear has to be broken for the tyranny to be defeated.
I can picture this: the official taxidermist is readying his tools and instruments to mummify the monster, in full Leninist style.
With political updates:
His brother raul caligula cagasstro has been very eager to take over. He is trying to do the possible and the impossible, but there's a huge internal struggle within the circles of power. He instructed his henchmen to launch a campaign of rumors about certain officers and about a plan hatched in the United States to annexate Cuba and invade the country. This is just psych-ops one o one by a very bad student of military and intelligence methods. There's an unusual traffic of communications being detected in the cupola of power in Cuba. Don't be surprised if many other "international events" go ahead with a "cancelled appearance" of cagasstro.
Keep tuned. Dark days are a-comin', and luminous days will come after the day of reckonin'.

It's not the 1940's anymore.

I have been always fascinated by the radio.
In my younger days, back in Cuba, American radio was a window to a world that I knew as if I were blind, no visuals, just sounds, voices, and music. In the eighties, Radio Marti was a good point of reference, as the many programmes of the BBC, The Voice of America, and the Deutsche Welle. Nothing like getting one of those bulky Russian radios, built to receive the harangues broadcasted from the Kremlin to the entire Eastern Block from Mittel Europa to the Pacific.
Fortunately, you didn't listen to those in Cuba.
Well, you were supposed to listen to kagasstro's mad ramblings, which lasted for hours and hours on end. But having those powerful radio receivers you could just do what I used to do, ignore kagasstro altogether and tune to American radio stations, most of them I am sure they weren't aware of their wide and clear reception in Cuba. Once can always listen to Trenchtown Rock from Jamaica as well... KAOY from Arkansas, WQAM from Miami, and so many others. Suddenly, kagasstro was kicked out your world and that was a nice feeling....
Back to the title. It's not the 1940's anymore.
My grandparents used to listen to war programming during WWII. They knew by heart the voices and accents of FDR, Churchill, and many others. The radio was the mass media by excellence. Then TV came into the picture. As the eighties song went, video killed the radio star.
It's amazing that still the President addresses the US via radio.
I personally would love for the President to have a blog.
The internet is omnipresent, right now, and the written word is more permanent, and the public is less likely to spend time listening to the radio while they are not driving.
I can tell you something; TV Marti is not seen in Cuba. Radio Marti is plagued with interference and the government snitches can tell if you're listening. If the electricity goes off, well, then you miss your programme if you didn't buy batteries in the black market. The internet is mostly silent. One doesn't even have to have a lamp on in the room. A simple curtain can muffle the luminiscence from the computer screen and most importantly the material and images can be printed and redistributed.
I checked with my sources and they tell me that our blog is banned. Which let fidelito scratching his head and pulling his beard off, since some of the graphics have been printed and passed around. How? Well, that's something to kagasstro's goons to figure out. I won't tell them! They read our blog and some other blogs and material from all of us is regularly quoted and plagiarized in the communist press. We have not only invaded Cuba, but also, the "bloggade" has been established and the commies are feeling the effects.

So, let's update the transmisions. A White House official blog will not only be read in the U.S. but it would have a very interested audience in Cuba. Reagan called for the end of communism in his famous "open mic" joke about the Evil Empire. Bush should declare the wet-foot dry-foot abolished via blog-cast. We can do it for him. And while he is at that, he can just declare kagasstro gone.

Iraqis have new a constitution

All the counts point to the "naam" (Arabic for yes) victory vote for a new Iraqi consitution. Apparently the terrorist gangs couldn't force the Iraqi population into a bloodshed induced submission, and by all accounts, the vote for a new consitution also means a resounding "no" to terrorism.
The new Iraq is slowly emerging. It would have a greater light whenever the trial to Satan Hussein starts. Let's hope for the best for them.

War stories

Fox Channel has a great program called War Stories. I just saw the show on the Bay Pigs and the Cuban Missile Crisis as narrated by Oliver North. He did a superb job, interviewing many anticagastro fighters and showing historic photographs and footage of both the invasion to Cuba by the Brigade 2506 and the deploying of the Soviet missiles on the island. He talked about the treason of the Kennedy brothers to the Cuban and the American people and their cowardice in dealing with Nikita Kruschev. A great history lesson, specially for those who insist in forgetting that kagasstro is still commited to his youthful dream of distroying this country. Whenever somebody tells you "things are changing in Cuba", or something possitive about che huevera or kagasstro refer them to War Stories. The material even showed the terrifying televised executions that were so common in Cuba during the sixties. The manipulating personality of kagasstro is shown in full color, presenting at the same time a bullying Nikita who made the Kennedy brothers dance to the beat of his drum. Today, all of us are paying the cost impossed on us by their treason to the ideals of freedom of the West by abandoning Cuba to communism. For the first time, American television presented history as it was, breaking the chain of missinformations and lies started by the New York Times to present kagasstro as a cuddly paternalistic figure and not a blood thirsty tyrant. Maybe Herbert Matthews was a Russian agent too, one day we will know!

SIN COMENTARIOS

I don’t think there’s any need to comment on the absolute hypocrisy that drives the Latin American countries with respect to both their relationship with KaSStro and the USA. So just for your puking pleasure here are the closing statements of Mexico’s Fox (pussy is more like it) regarding Kuba and the USA:

President Vicente Fox reasserted Mexico's long-standing position against the economic blockade (For the first time in 15 years the “submit" opted to call this bullshit a "BLOCKADE” instead of an embargo.. FUCK what they yanks want; We need to keep KaSStro happy ) imposed by the United States against Cuba Saturday on his last day at the 15th Ibero-American Summit here.

The Mexican pussy, who apparently fears the airing of other hidden recordings by the SUMO HIJO DE PUTA continues:

“In my opinion, the measure against Cuba is an attack on the welfare of the Cuban people.
Mexico has long held this position, a position that it will not change but maintain out of what we deem to be respect and justice. Trying to solve the Cuban situation by means of a commercial and economic embargo or blockade "is out of touch with reality."

Then the offhanded FUCK YOU to the USA:

Fox also said that while he respects the U.S. position against Cuba, he is not concerned with Washington's opinion of Mexico's stance on the issue.

COJONUDO the prick uh ? BUT … he follows with :

I continue to call for a migration agreement between Mexico and the United States.

UH? UH? UH? How about water canononig all Mexicans coming over the border and those who do make it , stick them up in some Alaskan "detention camp" for 15 months? You're pissing on the USA and Cuban Freedom so... it is ONLY fair, ain’t it? YOU prick take care of YOUR people.

You don't have a "BLOCKADE"! Why are YOUR people unemployed and hungry ?

Ah , so it DOES boil down to the ability of a goverment to manage its economy and not a FUCKING thing about USA's politics, uh scumbag?

A pact would "give order and stability to migration, help ensure the rights of migrants are respected and strengthen our economies."

So there you go, the never ending conundrum. Lick KaSStro’s sphincter ‘cause the prick has no compunctions about making your life miserable. Shit on the USA , cause the White House will just sit there and take it AND while you are at it and in the same breath ask the yanks for help ‘cause you have NO fucking idea as to how to run your SHIT HOLE of a country!

FOX.. You get a resounding GO FUCK YOURSELF ‘cause after Cuba is FREE your fucking economy is gonna go the way of the DODO bird!

Oops, I guess I DID after all, throw in a commentary

Libertad

That's the word on the inner tube. That's the world the inner tube represents.
How desperate has to be a human being to put his hopes in an inner tube and leave the only life he has known?
This is suicide, by all accounts. That's the main achievement of the "revolution". A nation of happy people has been turned into a nation of people who happily takes a shot at life through a suicidal trip on flimsy vessels on the Straits of Death.
Did he make it?
If somebody has the courage to leave all he has known behind, to come to this country risking his only possession, his life and soul, in shark infested waters, there have to be a compelling reason to do it. It's not economics, it's politics. The name of that reason is fidel kagasstro.

A bit of culture...

The pictorial arts have always talked to me with a special force. Painters can portrait reality -and fantasy- in a very unique way, where the story is told in layers, bringing us to the core of the action in a different way photography does. Photography has another quality, and horrible scenes can be portraited in harsher way with the camera than with the brushes.
But the sophistication of painting can bridge the gap between tragedy and time, geography, human races, religions, and cultures to give us a view that will reside in our memories or that will bring a reminder about something that might be happening in this very same moment.
The following painting shows a tragic struggle for life, the same struggle and most of the times an ending that more than one Cuban refugee meets when coming to liberty in a new birth. Instead of posting graphic and disturbing photographs I prefer to bring their plight to your attention by sharing the image of this monumental painting with all of you.

The artist, John Singleton, painted Watson and the shark inspired by a real event in the Bay of Havana, Cuba, in 1749. Brook Watson, a fourteen year old orphan who was a crew hand in a merchant vessel, was attacked and almost killed by a shark while swimming in the bay. His mates tried to save him, in a rescue effort to preserve his life. This very same drama unfolds daily in the waters of the Straits of Death, in the stretch of sea from Cuba to Florida.
Next time you are in Washington DC take time to visit the National Gallery of Art, where this painting is exhibited.

Thanks!

A faithful reader from Miami followed a recent controversy about our points of view regarding the refugees that come from the island, the way that we defend our side and how are we perceived by several sectors inside the the exile community and his family (still) in Cuba, who by the way, liked a lot the graphic of our invasion of Havana. So now we know who one of those mysterious readers from Cuba was...
My friend also told me that we have invaded Miami, in his words, like a stealth force. Yes, I have to recognize that our readership from Miami has increased in the past few days, for which I am using the oportunity to write a thank you note within this message to all of those who read us in Miami (and elsewhere) and to everyone that with different actions or by sustaining a controversy with us, or even by banning us, sparked the interest of several readers. Nothing like being the forbidden fruit. Everyone loves to get a piece of it!
At the same time, I was inspired by his comment to create a graphic about our presence in the Miamian cyberspace, and that's an hommage to all the readers from that city.
To all of you, our gratitude.

The summit, submits: And shamefully so!

The latest political circle jerk “summit” has ended and again these enlightened Spanish and Portuguese speaking individuals have come to a resolution . TA-DA

“An end to the “commercial and economic embargo the USA maintains against Cuba”

Apparently these assholes do not know how to read.
Hey, when did a proper education become a imperative as far as being a politician?

These individuals must have missed the fact that there are 3.9 BILLION dollars of KaSStro’s dollars sitting in some vault in a UBS bank. Ah, that doesn’t matter cause if it wasnt for this this BLOCKADE , he would have $39 Billion stashed away.

Now let us read this correctly, because these pricks are calling whatever this policy the USA has against Kuba a BLOCKADE. Again, who needs an education when you hold a political gig?
According to www.dictionary.com here is the meaning of BLOCKADE:

The isolation of a nation, area, city, or harbor by hostile ships or forces in order to prevent the entrance and exit of traffic and commerce.
The forces used to effect this isolation.

When was the last time anyone saw a USA ship stopping a cargo ship destined for KaSStroland ?

But who has time to look up the actual meaning of the words in your resolutions.

So this blockade has cost Kuba $82 billion over the course of 47 years . Since this is a figure highly taunted by KaSStro himself and one which he has never has gotten around explaining, again the 15 Ibero-American delegates just pulled it out of their asses.

Just a quick math ( If these guys can not read I am POSITIVE their math skills are right down there Kuba’s GNP )
82 billion Kuba has lost because of some fucking USA intervention

But KaSStro confiscated 20 billion in USA assets when he sat himself on the throne, okay we need to deduct THAT cause that was his pass GO bonus

So now we have 62 billion left of this phantom sum. Unofficially the USSR provided Castro with 3 million of financial aid a day, (the amount is more like 5 Million if you count the highly discounted crude) so KaSStro siphoned out about $ 35 Billion out of the Ruskies

$62B – $5B = $27B

So had there been a REAL BLOCKADE of Kuba by the USA we would say that since 1962 Kuba may have lost 27B in possible revenue.

But.. Let us go further into this exercise
What about the moneys spent in Angola, Latin America and other subversive schemes of EL SUMO HIJO DE PUTA? Couple of billion ?

So this mantra like fugure is down to $25B

Cubans in the USA are said to have sent $700,000,00 a year to realtives in Hell Island . The numbers reached this level after the Mariel exodus so that is 25 years of revenue without KaSSTro having to produce a GOD DAMN export product.

Let’s average the number at $400,000.00 X 25 that is anothet $10 billion.
Oops , the IberoAmericans pundits are down to a deficit of
$15 Billion over the course of 43 years.

Giving that KaSStro in his infinite incompetence has been able to sell SOME national product, according to various reports the number is between $20B & $33B annually

Let us average THAT and round it $25B a year , let us also give The Beast the benefit of considering that while he was sucking at Russia’s tit Kuba was producing SHIT! So that is 11 years of revenue of roughly $250 B.

The now famous $82B means absolutely NOTHING. The number is as meaningless as claiming that the presence of the USA between Kuba and Canada represents a major burden to Kuba’s economy.

But WAIT folks, there is MORE:

In 1986 KaSStro defaulted in most of his international debt of $11 Billion hard currency. Poof gone, I am not paying , kiss my pee-pee.

Not paying a debt is akin to realizing an income.

Imagine you or I telling the bank, “I am not paying for my house but I am keeping it” A penny saved …

So this unprecedented decision on the part of KaSStro of fucking all his creditors
came with a dire consequence, that of not being able to get long term credit from international finance institutions. His interest rate on short term loans is 22%.

Citing chronic delinquencies and mounting short-term debts, Moody's lowered Cuba's credit rating to Caa1 -- "speculative grade, very poor." Dunn and Bradstreet rate Cuba as one of the riskiest economies in the world.

You would THINK that the luminaries meeting at the Ibero-American conference would sit down and one night, skip the whores and liquor and dig into the REAL causes why KaSStro’s Kuba is in such a financial mess.

But, even as they complain about the unfairness of the USA “BLOCKADE” officials of this circus admitted that the likely reason of KaSStro not attending the conference was fear of demonstrations from Human Rights activists.

How much of a fucking hypocrite must you be to condemn the USA for not giving credit to country which not only stiffed them for $20B in 1961 dollars, who defaults on $11B of outstanding debt AND whose leader very presence may cause a deluge of Human Rights protests?

The charade is unpardonable! We keep pampering this prick and acquiescing to his every whim. You HAVE to think that in KaSStro’s dirty vaults there must be pictures of all of these sons of bitches performing unspeakable acts of bestiality, because NO ONE with a clear conscience , a rational mind a fucking calculator and the right set of COJONES can after 47 years of despotic tyranny STILL accuse Kuba’s perils on the USA.

The NY Daily News battle the NYT to be the worse rag in NYC

It ain’t news if it ain’t stupid

Yesterday and today the NY daily news has been having a god damn field day with the fact that some “Rich” New Yorkers got wind of the subway threat before the general population did.
The Daily News refers to these people as “The ELITE”, How fucking moronic is THAT?

If you are someone in a top intelligence position and that information comes over your desk, who will you call? Your friends! Who are the friends of people with LOTS of power and high ranking jobs in Washington? RICH PEOPLE YOU FUCKS! Who will they call? Pachuco’s Taco Heaven in Jackson Heights?

YOU STUPID FUCKS.. THIS IS NEWS?

Now, WHAT rich person in NYC takes the subway.. NONE! (Well Bloomberg does but that is just POSING)

What good does this then do to this “ELITE”? NOT A GOD DAMN THING.. BUT, rich people have maids, and butlers, and concierges and friends who have maids & butlers and concierges and they have friends and cousins and so on and so on and so on..
So what is this NON news about? That someone with VERY important and potentially deadly information called a buddy and told him to be careful? Now, isn’t that just your typical HATE THE RICH and buy my paper, line of populist bullshit?

And I tell you HOW fucking stupid this IS.
I have a neighbor who works for the NYC Transit Authority, NOT a RICH guy by any means , in fact he is the hardest working man I know , holding two jobs to support a wife and three daughters in the best possible way a conscientious loving father can. Well this NON RICH fellow, knocked at my very NON RICH door and told me to be careful because they had been told to “keep and eye on suspicious activity” and that some “X” plan was to be put into effect.

THAT is what people DO assholes, they TALK they warn each other.
This sounds like another ridiculous conspiracy theory in the making, this time perpetrated by what should be a “responsible newspaper”

At this pace I think the most reliable and least sensationalist paper in circulation today is the National Enquirer. At least they have learned that printing bullshit can in fact land you in libel court and siphon oodles of cash out of your VERY RICH coffers.

No surprises, he is a coward.

Ah, the good life in Spain.
What can I tell you, they have just half the bad air. The dean of murderers, kagasstro didn't have the balls to show up at the Ibero American summit in Salamanca; he fears arrest and prosecution for his numerous crimes against Cubans and Spaniards. He sent his ventriloquist's puppet, el Mico Putumayo (so reader, please archive a copy of this posting inside your KillChavez folder) who will deliver one of his comical rantings in his badly pronounced and worsely constructed Spanish.
The call for kagasstro's arrest comes from the Cubans exiled in Spain, who have effectively lobbied the courts of that country to deliver justice. The charges go from torture, to genocide, to illegal imprisonment, to plundering the national treasure, and stealing the national patrimony. Kudos to them. They stopped the tyrant dead on his tracks, and made him show his real cowardly colours to the world.
He didn't dare to come to NYC.
He didn't dare to go to Spain.
Two small victories, in a very long fight that we still have ahead of us. So tell me that Cubans fleeing his tyranny do it for "economical" reasons. If that were the case, kagasstro would not face political and criminal prosecution for crimes against humanity.

A missing life saver

More thoughts on the death of a child...
The general line of thought in the media is to blame the victims of kagasstro for their tragic end in the seas. Maybe the boat would have not overturned if they didn't fear the Coast Guard. That's why I said all the time that the dry foot wet foot is an executive orders pay in lives and blood, and the effort to remove it is a missing life saver. The death of a poor kid was blamed on the "inherent danger of illegal immigration to the US", and both kagasstro and the dry foot wet foot Clintonian creation get a pass and they are not even mentioned in the same breath. The fact that George W. Bush has not nullified that order and erradicated that moral deformity from the American system, the fact that the Coast Guard has displayed brutality, and the fact that this brutality has an equivalent in the police beatings that have caused numerous racial riots have been never mentioned by anyone in the media.
The reason that forces Cubans to leave their homeland is a communist tyranny, and the iron grip on their private lives, the hell they live through since they are deprived of any liberties and rights. That's the political nature of the exodus.
Maybe we are not their favourite flavour, but hell, we are good enough to be the shark's favourite flavour. Let me drop this theory here: that's why the sharks in Florida are more aggressive, that's why they are attacking bathers in Florida's water, they have gotten used to human flesh.
One things that ashames me is to know that as I write this there are many boats that are going to stay in their Florida driveways when they could be sailed into the Straits of Death to offer a life saver and an opportunity in life to a poor soul who fleeds the tyrant next door.
President Bush, please nullify the vile dry foot wet foot regulation immediately, America cannot deny its own principles of existance and be an accomplice of a bloodthirsty terrorist who sits a few miles to the South, where he reigns over the biggest material nightmare that can be imagined.
By the way, if the government of the US allows them to return to Cuba once they are accepted as political refugees that shouldn't be anybody's business. That's a judgement that only corresponds to the person who whishes to travel. As I have said several times, they come here searching freedom and protection. Once they have freedom, nobody would have to erect onto an informal policy definer and over whatever the letter of the law is go onto pressure them socially to get them to do or not to do a particular thing or forbid them to do what they want and is lawful. Much less to tell them if they can travel back or not, or if they can help their families or not or call them or not. If the balseros wanted to succumb to social pressure from others they would have stayed in Cuba. As simple as that. If they can travel back to Cuba under American law, nobody is in the position to pressure them or holds the moral authority to tell them to do otherwise. That's a personal decision, the same kind that they were denied in Cuba, where they couldn't even dream of visiting a relative in another province, let alone abroad. So what they do under the applicable laws is nobody's business but their own. Nobody is above the law to force people to take any action based on social pressure.
Besides, they can talk to people and tell them what they experienced in the sea, what they found in the States. What kind of reception they had here. And what they can do with their lives in freedom. That's exactly what kagasstro doesn't want.
They had enough in Cuba of people pressuring them into doing what they didn't want to do. do you think they are going to accept anybody's command here? Not even kidding. I certainly question why they are pressured into not talking with their relatives, not helping them, and not going back. They should be able to take that decision by themselves, without any condescending or arrogant consideration from others.
Remember, kagasstro is the one who has made a career out of dividing families and forcing people to do what they don't want to, and out of being a "social engineer" (please read "tyrant"), of monitoring all aspects of folks'lives, he doesn't need helpers or competitors in that field.

George W. Bush: Please nullify the wet foot dry foot Clintonian order now.

The dry foot wet foot Clintonian regulation continues to be enforced a Cuban kid died in the seas. My question: Where are the protests? Where are the politicians and celebrities? Who is speaking up? It's hard to believe that the voices are only in this blog. To nullify the dry foot wet foot ordinance has become our personal Crusade. It's important for us to let the Cubans of the island know that we care for them and that we are trying to have their voices heard. Every Cuban who tries to reach the States is a political refugee, an asylum seeker, because they are forced to take a suicidal action on the Straits of Death by the tyranny that enslaves their nation.
There are no excuses to have these Cubans risking their lives for liberty and then turning them away, to prison, live in indignity, or to their deaths.
Their action screams give me death or give me freedom at the top of their lungs.

A REMAR A REMAR A REMAR cause IN GOD WE TRUST

Lately this seems to be my reason ‘d’etre the ridiculous, inhumane, hypocritical treatment of these poor souls from the south side of what Cubans call
“El corredor de la muerte” ( Straits of Death ) .

On the wake of the last and most documented case of these refugees, only 17 (SEVENTEEN) people showed up in protest of the treatment these 10 men received. I guess it was not “news worthy enough” No Elian, vigils, no TV cameras , no Cuban flags no voices of protest or condemnation. It went so far as my terminating a 36 year old friendship with a a Marielito (who *I* personally helped settle in the USA) when he decided that the NEW arrivals were just a burden to his beloved Miami. Love your brother as you would yourself seems to take a VERY different meaning when translated into CubEnglish.

When a Cuban throws themself in the aforementioned Strait of Death their foregone expectation is that they will be committing suicide (economic reasons MY ASS!).

I also just had the terrible news that the son of an old friend and his young wife (both 22 ) may have died making the cross. They have been gone for 9 days and there is no news of them. This devastating news came just a few minutes ago.
I have been defending the right of these Balseros tooth and nail , and now this has become PERSONAL.

So I was defending a cause that within a matter of days would touch me VERY deeply and VERY closely. Now, this has become a fucking BATTLE as far as I am concerned and I am fighting this with as much vigor as I fight the SUMO HIJO DE PUTA. ‘Cause I don’t care who is using my people as pawns whoever it is FUCK THEM! All of them. If the new balseros are “economics” migrants so are ALL of US and NONE of us have the slightest right to be here. This 22 year old kid, had been under constant KaSStrist harassment because of his father’s anti-KaSStro activities. He could not keep a job and he would spend days in jail for selling black market motherboards and hard drives. Now if ANYONE in their right mind feels this is an ECONOMIC migration, not being able to support your family because your political beliefs impede you to hold a job , then there is something VERY wrong with your line of reasoning
Coincidentally (and scarily so) I saw the documentary Balseros last night for a second time.

“Balseros” begins in 1994 during “El Habanazo”. This, the first public and massive display of civil unrest in Cuba against The Beast was triggered by the horrendous mistreatment of a few Cubans who tried to hijack “La Lancha de Regla” (A ferry boat that connects old Habana to a poor old neighborhood across Habana Bay.
The word spread quickly that the Beasts animals where killing these people by kicking them into the water and let them drown , a few were just shot.
La Habana Vieja became a battle zone . The fellow during the narration in Spanish says full of emotion “I had never seen this, I had never heard anyone ever publicly and loudly scream ABAJO FIDEL”

If you are a Cuban who have felt the despots wrath on your own flesh you KNOW the strength of these words. Because although the majority of Cubans at some point or another in their lives have uttered the ultimate question “when will this prick DIE!?” it is never said out load , in fact KaSStro’s name is never even mentioned in Kuba , People refer to Satan’s spawn just by gesturing as if rubbing an invisible beard . THAT is how afraid Cubans are of the repercussions of mentioning KaSStro and perhaps being misinterpreted as a sign of dissent.

The aftermath of “El HABANZO” was the typical KaSStro gambit, play the magnanimous despot and allow EVERYONE to leave his hell hole while FUCKING the USA up the ass! Clinton BIT .. AND in Clinton’s statement, he referred to the Cubans as REFUGEES.. The “migrant” moniker apparently made it to books as an afterthought. Just didn’t look like the American thing to do to be sending back Refugees.

The race to get to the USA before the USA government blocked the entry became a desperate rush to put together ANYTHING that may float on the water and head north.

It is REALLY interesting to see how the balseros build their “crafts” and how the people around them help them and encourage them, going as far as setting up impromptus caravans to take them to the shores and see them off.

Balsas with names like “In GOD WE TRUST” “CARIDAD DEL COBRE” one of them with “FELICIDADES WILLY CHIRINO” (god knows what THAT was about!) while the would be balseros chop away at every piece of wood they can find (even old park benches , they seem to make GREAT oars ) there is a very poignant moment when the cameras shift back and forth between those building Balsas and those holding a Pro-KaSStro rally at the steps of La Universidad de La Habana . The incongruity of this is that the rally had at the most 200 people who dispersed in a quite a hurry when a few drops of rain began falling. I looked at this as a HELL of a sign as to the moral commitment of both sides.

Those defending KaSStro running not to get wet, those fleeing KaSStro getting ready to DIE. I think THAT tells a lot about the convictions of both factions.

The documentary focus on several balseros chosen totally at random. One of them a father who had been denied a Visa to the USA 4 times even though his wife and little daughter were in the USA. This man with tears in his eyes exclaims:

“I accept the USA doesn’t want me there, but I have a moral commitment to TRY so I will take my chances with the sea”

The rest of the group is a mishmash of hard working souls and a couple (two to be exact) of “vividores”. One an ex-jinetera whose ambition is to spend a WHOLE NIGHT dancing at a Disco (This piece of shit winds up as a drug addict someplace in Texas) while her “common law husband” is killing himself as a mechanics assistant. Fortunately for this poor man she abandons him and his life takes a turn for the better the moment she leaves.

But most of the balseros fulfill a dream. Relocated to places like Kentucky & Connecticut (“There are no jobs in Miami” they are told) they work HARD 12, 15 hour days.
Besides the human aspects there are quotes on this documentary that are worth repeating :

“There are obstacles from both sides and both sides are pushing against the middle , so your only hope is to throw yourself in the water”

“This place is SHIT and you are better off dead” Screams a guy from a Bike

“Since 1992 I have been here (The Interest section) and they have denied me a visa even though most of my family is THERE. So what can *I* do ? I can not stay , I have to jump in the water."

“Where is the truth , who is telling the truth ? What do we hear from the USA ? that these are inhumane and horrible conditions, that this is an unlivable country ? So why are we denied a chance to freedom. What are we? PAWNS Either they kill us HERE or they kill us there”

And the most touching quote that comes from the the common law husband of the jinetera who says:

“Freedom is HARD but it is WELL WORTH IT”

And this is the message through this heart wrenching documentary.
GIVE US A CHANCE at FREEDOM

An old children's chant is heard as the balseros take to the water..

“A REMAR , A REMAR , A REMAR que la virgen de Regla los va a acompañar”

“Row, row, row The Virgen of Regla will be with you”

Faith it is the only thing left to survive the Cuban misery.

KillChavez

In a comment, I said that it was just a matter of time for the Venezuelans to set up a KillChavez. Well el Mico is kicking out the American missionaries from the country he stole from the Venezuelans. Watch out, Catholic nuns and priests are next. I actually don't expect any originality from el Mico Putumayo, he is just following the kagasstro cookbook for tropical dictators. The next step is to submerge the country into despair and animism, obscurantism is really a good refuge for souls crushed by dictartorship and letargic enough not to allow people to revolt. And freedom of religion fosters desires of liberty, which is something that a self respecting tyrant fears more than anything else. I bet that he will take everything from the Jews, but he will allow the Muslims to set camp, after all the mullahs are his allies, and his lovers are the terrorists.
One thing el Mico has earned for sure, the right for him to have his crappy life chronicled in a section called KillChavez.
Let's see what he does when he shows up with kagasstro in Madrid next week to serve as entertainment in the IberoAmerican summit. That Zapatero guy is inviting the worst of the litter to stump on Spanish soil, probably to make ETA happy with those likeminded guests.
Let's not allow el Mico Putumayo to get away with the murder of the Venezuelan nation.

Chavez kicks out U.S. evangelists for "spying"
Staff and agencies
12 October, 2005

By Patrick Markey 5 minutes ago

CARACAS, Venezuela - Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez on Wednesday ordered U.S. New Tribes evangelical missions working with indigenous groups to leave the country after accusing them of "imperialist infiltration" and spying.

Chavez, a former paratrooper who says his socialist revolution counters U.S. influence, briefly suspended foreign missionary permits in August after U.S. evangelist Pat Robertson called on Washington to assassinate the left-wing leader. Robertson later apologized.

"I have given the order, the New Tribes, the so-called New Tribes, are going to leave Venezuela. This is real imperialist penetration, it makes me ashamed," Chavez said, wearing a green military uniform and red army beret.

"It‘s real imperialist infiltration, the CIA , they are taking sensitive and strategic information, and besides they exploit our indigenous people," he said. "We don‘t want to abuse them, but simply give them a date to pack up and leave."

He did not say when the missions would have to leave Venezuela and offered no proof for his allegations.

Chavez, who is praised by supporters for championing the poor, was speaking at a ceremony in southwestern Apure State to hand over land titles, tractors and credits to help indigenous groups.

The Florida-based New Tribes Mission, a Christian evangelist group that trains and coordinates missions to preach in remote areas, has 160 assigned missionaries in Venezuela working with 12 indigenous groups, according to its Web site.

The announcement came just days after Robertson, a leader of the Christian conservatives who have backed U.S. President George W. Bush President George W. Bush, again attacked Chavez, accusing him of funding Osama bin Laden and seeking atomic material from Iran .

Venezuela officials rejected the new accusations as "absurd."

Chavez has often charged Washington with plotting his downfall or murder. U.S. officials dismiss that as wild, populist rhetoric, but say the Venezuelan leader works with Cuban President Fidel Castro to erode regional democracy.

Frayed political ties and a barrage of angry rhetoric have not stopped Venezuela, the world‘s No. 5 oil exporter, from selling most of its petroleum to the United States.

Where did they come from?

Our reader Carmen sent this photograph of a cache of old shoulder launched rockets, rifle propelled grenades (RPGs), and mortars found in Iraq. Those are the elements used in the fabrication of crude -but lethal- Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) or as they are called in the press, roadside bombs.
This indeed is a very important step forward in the war on terror.
I am pretty sure that the military have checked the serial numbers of the ammunition to determine their procedence. It's well known that kagasstro had military collaboration with Satan Hussein and Hafez el Assad (Syria, now clearly involved in financing, training, and supporting the terrorists in Iraq) and that a significant ammount of the weapons he received from his Soviet masters were transfered whenever he had some bartering or swapping going on under the table with those regimes. It's widely known that he resold a lot of the weaponry and ammunition before it arrived to Cuba, at times in high seas -as the pirate he is.
Cuba received a lot of weapons from the USSR, the other captive nations of the Soviet block and China. Those weapons were distributed widely among certain regimes and other terror masters. No wonder you see all those Russian AK 47 M in every picture from the Middle East, used with the same gusto at weddings, funerals, celebrations, or terrorist acts. The trained eye will notice also some SKS (a Chinese version of the AK 47), the RPGs look Russian too, and the Katiushka rockets so much favored by Hamas and Hizbollah also came from Old Mother Russia.
Among the things for which kagasstro should be under an international arrest warrant is for the weaponry and landmines that were sold all over the world to prop up terror kingpins of his liking. I am always amazed that those lefty-lofty celebrities that advocate for the land mines victims never mention the issue of their provenance. The land mines in Africa, for example, are the work of no other than kagasstro. Those mines were laid during the more than fifteen years of invasions in Africa, in countries like Angola, Namibia, and Mozambique. Iraq was a big buyer of landmines during the Iran-Iraq war, and it's said that kagasstro provided both camps with all sorts of weapons to have a secure (and weakened) ally whoever was the winner in the war. Food for thought, Pentagon.

Cuban humour saves lives

Carta de la Virgen de Regla desde Cuba a la Virgen de la Caridad del Cobre de Miami (Courtesy of my friend I.L.)

A word to our Anglo readers, the transation of the following piece is an almost impossible task, this is a letter from one very venerated Saint in Cuba to the Patroness of Cuba, who is in a shrine in Miami. The letter talks about the scarcities, miseries, and oppresion that Cubans feel in Cuba at every step every second of their lifes, it's a plea for help, from material goods, to prayers, thoughts and support in general.
We publish it because we feel that 12 million Cubans need the help and support of their brothers and sisters in exile, and they shall not be forgotten or let to fend for themselves under the tyranny.
Again, Cubans resort to humour to be able to withstand the prenuries of communism.
Without humour, they would had die en masse years ago.
Read and think about the terrible drama bestowed onto your fellow Cuban in the island.

Cachita hermana querida
como de ti no recibo
ni una carta, yo te escribo
Porque me siento afligida,
tu, que estas en la Florida
alejada de este brete
Comiendo pollo y filete
sin pensar en tu hermanita,
yo te suplico, Cachita
que me mandes un paquete.

Dicen que tienes ahi;
una casa muy bonita
que no es igual mi hermanita
a la que tengo yo aqui;
por eso cuanto te vi,
con tu manto tan bonito
y observe que tu negrito
mas bien parece un artista
pense en mandarte una lista
de lo que yo necesito.

Aqui te envio mi talla
Porque quiero que me mandes,
dos ajustadores grandes,
una blusa y una saya.
Tambien quiero una toalla
dos sabanas y un mantel;
y mandame un carretel
de hilo y una bufanda
y si puedes tambien manda
un rollito de papel.

Lo que aqui, te estoy pidiendo
en verdad lo necesito
creeme por Dios bendito
que en nada te estoy mintiendo,
pues no te estaria escribiendo
si necesario no fuera;
mandama eso con cualquiera;
por España o por Toronto
El caso es que llegue pronto
porque ya estoy casi encuera.
Si me pudieras mandar
una mantilla bonita
porque esta ya esta viejita
y la quiero renovar.
Mandame para mi altar
un rollo de lentejuelas,
varios colores de bola
estampillas de Jesus
y como aqui nunca hay luz
Manda un paquete de velas.

Manda tambien chocolate
que yo se que alla los hay
mandame jabon Camay
y un tubito de Colgate.
Esto aqui es un desbarate
una destruccion completa;
la gente no me respeta
me tienen abandonada
y no puedo comprar nada
porque no tengo libreta.

Como tambien quiero ir
a visitarte a Miami
mandame productos de Sammy
para poder presumir
dicen que te hacen lucir
diez años mas jovencita,
que las arrugas te quitan
y te dejan nuevecita.
Yo quisiera hacer la prueba
mandamelos mi hermanita.

Y no vayas a pensar
que te lo estoy exigiendo
si no puedes yo te entiendo,
no te voy a reprochar
si no me puedes mandar
todo lo que te pedi,
tendre que seguir aqui,
viviendo entre las tortugas
encuera, llena de arrugas
y prieta como un toti.

Morning report

This morning almost at nine am, I took a 7 train at Times Square.
Suddenly, someone noticed an unattended big blue backpack in the car I just had entered.
Everybody got out of the car, orderly. No panic. A cop took the darn bag out and took it out of sight, to a safe place. Everybody climbed in the car again, with a phlegm like the one sported by the British under the Nazi bombings. The train continued its way, with no other incident.
I am very proud of my fellow passengers for being so calm and collected at all times. I am proud of the MTA workers and the cops for being so brave, and for all us for standing up straight and strong in the face of terror. Face that we are ready to punch to a bloody pulp, Adbullah, so fuck off.

Cuban road sign

It's been said that in times of penury, misery, pain, dark tyranny, and incertitude, a big saver is the sense of humour. That's what guarantees survival. This is a real road sign in Cuba, sent by my dear friend I.L.
The inscription says "Slow down, fuck!"

Just don't scream goal!

I just read something in Il Corriere della Sera that made me cry in mad laughter!
The new fatwa on football (soccer) by some asshole in (where else?) Saudi Arabia. A cleric, I forgot his name, let's call him Mohamed Prick Head, decided that football is to Christian for their taste. Results: Mullah Prick Head banned football, unless you play to be phisically prepared for Jihad. And it gets better: the rules were to Christian too, so he decided to change everything, meaning, the football team has to be composed by either 10 or less or 12 or more players, but never 11. Nothing like wearing "package" revealing shorts, one has to play wearing the typical robe or pijama garment usually worn by those fundamentalistic crapheads. Oh, let's not forget that the gates cannot have the top pole, or the net (that's so Christian and passé, and you don't want to be démodé) it's just a pair of poles secured with camel shit to the desert sand.
Before I forget, the very same nature of the game has been totally challenged by this enlightened idiot; teams won't play against one another anymore. What's with a two team game? That's too Crusader, Ahmed! The game is now to a veritable ménage a trois of teams playing against each other or only by one team playing against itself. Forget about patting your fellow team-mate in the ass (I don't understand this, I always thought of Muslims as a very gay bunch)according to the new etiquette you scream Allah U Akhbar! instead of saying "good job" and you don't praise anyone for their prowesses on the field: you say "you brother shalt die!". After all, you and your towel head brothers are preparing for martyrdom.
Ah, the beauties of Islam. What a bunch of idiots! They are still following Osama Prick Laden to martyrdom. Too bad that he is Capitan Araña (for my Anglo readers, Captain Spider) who pushes his men forward whilst retraiting (unnoticed by those who are dying) to safety. He is happily donating a bunch of virgins in Paradise to the next football player who leaves the soccer league to die in a bing bang boom.
On that point, you have to like the American way, one loves to enjoy one's women alive, kicking, and with no detonator attached.
Get over that Mohamed. You go to paradise, or so you think. We go everywhere else, and have all the fun!

When your worse enemy is your only salvation

The Kuban apparatchik keeps blaming their economic mismanagement on a 47 year old USA “Blockade (I guess they are going back to THAT bullshit, which NO Cuban actually believes)
Everything that is wrong with the Kuban economy can be traced back to the unwillingness of the USA to do business with KaSStro.

Some cultist prick at named Nestor Nunez (They are so god damn incompetent they can not figure out how to stick a ñ in a web page) at a web site named ahora.cu grumbles about this “Blockade” and tries to offer some twisted KaSStro babble to point out how Kuba’s economy would flourish were it not for the USA refusal to give the Maximum motherfucker the same economic consideration they give other countries .
Here is this asshole’s conclusion

How much could Cuba have developed with such amounts of money, with credit facilities and commercial operations or with normal relations with the US itself, one of the major trade giants in the world only some 180 kilometers away from Havana?

Geez, isn’t this prick the bright one? Why don’t we turn that around and ask him:

How much could Cuba have developed had KaSStro NOT turned Cuba into a despotic tyranny?
How much could Cuba have developed had KaSStro not stolen 20 billion in USA property as soon as he sat on the throne?
How much would Cuba have developed if private property had not been abolished?
How much Cuba had developed if KaSStro was not hell bent in DESTROYING the very hand that he now complains is not helping him?
How much Cuba had developed had he not sold Cuba to the Russians and allowed atomic weapons 90 mils from USA soil ?
How much Cuba would had developed if instead of spreading terror, misery, death and anti USA sentiment through the world KaSStro had concentrated in Cuba’s economy?
How much would Cuba have developed had KaSStro realized that the “major trade giant, only 180 Kilometers from Cuba’s coasts would NOT take kindly to constant harassments , bullying , verbal abuse , demagogy and very tangible threats of destruction?
In fact: How much Cuba would have developed if KaSStro had not fucked over virtually EVERY asshole who was stupid enough to invest in his Gulag?

It is a delightful exercise watching a ñangara in Kuba give you the state line and then whack him back with the REALITY of why Kuba is the shithole it is. I miss that about not being able to go back to Kuba. The UTTER state of confusion these pricks tangle themselves in when you ask “And why would a country which you keep demonizing WORLDWIDE, which you constantly accuse as being evil incarnate , which you constantly castigate with 3rd grade demagogy , why would this country , lift a god damn finger to help you? In fact the question you should be asking is:
“Why hasn’t the USA already blown YOU up to smithereens?”
The question you should be asking is:
“Why is the USA even entertaining loosening sanctions in regards to food and medicine. You have not a GOD DAMN thing to deserve a better treatment in fact your leader tightens your noose with predictable frequency. Every time his reign titters he makes sure your air supply gets that much closer to nil.

What about your BUDDIES, uh “NUNEZ”? Venezuela, China, Spain, Vietnam? Not enough? Then you stupid prick; why don’t you advocate for that rapist that disgusting scumbag you call you leader to step the fuck down?

You will see how fast Cuba becomes what it could have always been.

I've seen that movie before.

Today I overheard a conversation between a Venezuelan lady and her American friend. The American lady was flabbergasted about the galls of el Mico Putumayo Chavez and how he is stealing monies by freezing certain banks accounts most likely belonging to people who oppose el Mico, and who are against him more or less actively or openly. The Venezuelan lady also told her -to her interlocutor horror- that el Mico is also very busy confiscating property belonging to Venezuelans, c'est a dire, second homes mainly leisure homes at the beach or the country side. She was also talking about confiscations of land, and to top it, the formation of civilian militias to defend the country from the (supposed and alleged) American threat, and the Circulos Bolivarianos to keep an eye (and a tab) on the counter-revolution.
Consider that this conversation took place in a tony Manhattan neighbourhood and that I am very familiar with both that reality (although in its previous incarnation) and with the mindset of wealthy Manhattanites with second houses and large amounts of cash. At some point, the American lady, horrified, said: "And that's the man that Columbia University invited to speak there and we left roam the streets of Manhattan freely? that's not a man, that's a monster".
It couldn't have been better phrased. El Mico is a monster. He is a monster because he is not man enough. Likewise, his mentor and inspiring force, kagasstro, is a monster because he never reached the heights of manhood. Actually, the heights of humanity, the beauty of the human condition are uncharted territory for them.
Just imagine how things are getting in Cuba, that people are hanging signs on their front doors looking for a house swap from Cuba to Venezuela, to leave Havana for Caracas to go there to be close to their doctors, since kagasstro has sent them down to Venezuela and left the Cuban population without proper health care... Monsters, indeed. Mind you, Venezuela didn't have a shortage of physicians, and neither did Cuba. Now both countries have a disastrous health system as a result of the alliance of those monsters. Now Venezuelans are being robbed, their patrimony stolen and destroyed, the resources of their country put in the hands of kagasstro and the mullahs, and their nation have been hijacked by a petty thug transformed into a terrorist. Let's not forget that Carter certified a very murky "election" in which el Mico came out thriumphant. And the left applauded and the NYTimes hails el Mico almost every other day. We are in danger, kagasstro is hijacking Latin America by proxy and we have a huge cauldron of boiling terror just a few minutes south of Key West.Something needs to be done, before it's too late and we have to lament an "informal" war that could extend like a cancer all over Latin America and the world, via terrorist methods. Let's not forget kagasstro is an expert in that type of warfare, he is the first one that hijacked a whole country by means of terrorism and who has kept power by means of terror as a method of governance.
After el Mico and kagasstro (the pirates of the Caribbean) are gone two countries will need a lot of help to return to their previous prosperity. I just hope they go together, and very soon.

I am Eating crow – AGAIN - and I LIKE IT

First it was Diaz Balart forceful reaction to the disgraceful way the 10 cuban refugees were treated by USA cost guards. Given all the shit I had swung against the man , I had to apologize PROFUSELY and give him a VERY high 5.

Now, it is Rep. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen, who deserves by most humble apology.

This time she has screwed a VERY strong set of ovaries and pushed through congress a FULL investigation of “The world's largest "wealth management" firm, UBS”

Seems that EL SUMO HIJO DE PUTA has deposits of 3.9 BILLION with the swis bank , and there is really no accounting , how KaSStro came around with that kindda cash.

UBS will also be investigated for dealings with Iran and with Saddam Hussein . ABOUT FUCKING TIME!

This investigation came out of sheer serendipity as USA forces found $762 million in USA currency laying around in Saddam’s coffers. The investigation led directly to UBS.
It was discovered that UBS – as part of a program with The Federal Reserve Bank of New York – allowed clients to retire old bank notes and replace them with fresh currency. Not an illegal practice UNLESS it is done on behalf of Iraq, Cuba, Iran, Libya and communist Yugoslavia.

The business relationships with these countries, violated agreements with The Federal Reserve which stipulates that no cash transactions may be conducted with countries under USA sanctions.

Since Cuba, Iran, and Libya are on the State Department's list of state sponsors of terrorism, and, according to UBS, employees of the bank had filed false accounting reports with the Federal Reserve to conceal the transactions with the prohibited clients , the Federal Reserve Board and the Swiss Federal Banking Commission sanctioned UBS, which settled the matter by paying a $100 million fine to the Federal Reserve.

Apparently that was not enough for Ms. Ros-Lehtinen (Yeah! Ileana) and she has been doggedly pursuing an investigation of the bank for details surrounding the $3.9 billion, which, according to press accounts, was deposited by the Castro regime into one official Cuban government account with UBS. The deposits took place over the course of 1,900 transactions between 1996 and 2003.

Of course KaSStro’s explanation is that these are revenues generated by tourism and “remittances” from families in exiles.

A simple analysis of EL SUMO HIJO DE PUTA’s legal revenues during that period it is IMPOSSIBLE that such amount of US dollars can be amassed.

Even if KaSStro had not spent a SINGLE penny out of that revenue in maintinaing his personal hell hole no amount of tourism or “remittances” will tally up to that number.

The logical conclusion is that the money has been obtained through illegal means. Drugs, slave trafficking, mercenary actions etc.

Rep. Lincoln Diaz-Balart is also after this 3.9 Billion with a commendable passion, demanding full USA criminal investigation of the source of the money and USB’s complicity in the money laundering operation.

The depth of investigation befallen UBS is such that no less that 5 branches of government at the federal and state level are digging into seemingly bullet proof allegations. Of course the pricks at UBS are even denying they are being investigated.

Diaz-Balart went as far as to express GREAT frustration with USA intelligence services for totally neglecting The Beasts money laundering operation since this represents a direct threat to the security of the USA.

So FINALLY someone is kicking some lazy asses in Washington, finally money is not buying silence and under cover transactions. Finally those accomplices who perpetuate the Cuban suffering will be called to judgment.

If KaSStro gets hit with a 3.9 billion asset freeze (which could be very well UBS's plea bargain to avoid what could be a bankruptcy sized fine) THAT is the end for the prick.

And THAT is how you know this piece of scum off the throne

THANK YOU Ileana & Lincoln. I am eating crow and I it never tasted so good!

But.. don’t sleep on you laurels ‘cause I have a fickle mind

La terra mas fermosa

That was the expression of Christopher Columbus when he saw this view in his landing spot of Baracoa, upon his arrival to Cuba. The phrase "la mas fermosa" means "the most beautiful" land on which human eyes had been laid. If he arrived again today, he would still marvel at the beauty of the nature, and he would put his sword at the service and defense of the Cubans, to defeat the tyranny that today enslaves the island.
At that time, he planted La Cruz de Parra in the beach on which he arrived, and brought with that gesture the Western civilization to the American Continent, the New World. At this time he would have to do it again, to bring Western civilization, compassion and mercy to a ravaged land, anew, and he would be a symbol of hope.

I am sure that he would not understand the destruction and the thuggery he would see in Cuba, I am sure he would be surprised at the sight of the Cubans leaving their island. But those are the sad facts of our history.
One thing I am sure that Columbus would do if he landed today in Cuba is that he would burn kagasstro at the stake for heressy and witchcraft. And he would be right.
He would have no mercy with the traitors and thugs.
And Cuba would be back to being la terra mas fermosa.

The hypocrisy of selective policy enforcement

According to The Mercury News , the number of Cubans caught this year trying to make it to the USA has reached a 10 year high.

One school of thought claims these are migrants who are led primarily by economic reasons (and hence not entitled to political asylum) BUT on the same breath they agree that the POLITICAL repression of dissident along with the bureaucracy that strangles the island exacerbates the exodus.

The quote from the Mercury News reads

While no mass migration appears on the horizon, Cuba experts and U.S. officials say Cubans increasingly take to the ocean to flee the island run by communist President Fidel Castro because of chronic economic hardship, repression of political dissent and a hard-line bureaucracy that makes it difficult for even some legal migrants to leave.

So based on this assessment by USA Officials THERE IS a political aspect intrinsically tied to the balseros plight!

As we have said before you can NOT separate politics from economics in a totalitarian state. Not having private enterprise and depending on the government itself to provide a healthy economy the line between economic vs political reason goes straight to hell.

How do we take this?

The USA government AGREES that politics are a direct result of this illegal emigration but at the same time claim that a great majority of balseros do not fall within the “political refugee” umbrella. I guess we are facing here the USA version of Doublespeak.

From Jan to Sept 2005 2,530 Cubans made it safely to USA the safe heaven (these are the ones WHO MADE IT) This is more than double the 954 who arrived in 2004.

The USA admits that the closer vigilance of these refugees and their correspond deportation is a direct result of new changes in policy based on Homeland Security guidelines. I think we ALL are happy with that!

But the fact REMAINS; A refugee caught in USA waters IS entitled to a formal hearing to determine if his is indeed a political case. Granted this is an expensive proposition but as everything to do Cuba a LOT of money is being spent on futile efforts to topple KaSStro (TV Marti for example) and this is money that can directly be spent in helping those who HAVE taken the life and death jump. These people already HEARD TV-MARTI and decided it was better here , but the message we give them (and the rest of the people in Kuba is

“Go back keep on watching TV-MARTI , we will send the cavalry as soon as the Maximum HIJO DE PUTA kicks the bucket”

Was I still in Kuba and this was the treatment I received after taking what must be one of the most tragic and dramatic ordeals a desperate Cuban can take, I would become an adamant anti USA voice. ‘Cause they KNOW I am here for political reason and yet I am sent back because I can not prove it? But…. Your own government admits the exodus is based on POLITICAL reasons!

Other official explanations by the USA government are:

"Castro is not granting Cubans their U.S. legally approved visas to come to this country and, in acts of desperation, they are risking their lives to join their families,"

Hmm that sounds POLITICAL to me

And yet another one:

Under the 1994 migration agreement, up to 20,000 Cubans each year may legally leave for the United States under a lottery system. Yet some people who get U.S. visas are denied exit permits by Cuban officials who arbitrarily deem them "defectors," according to the State Department. Cuba also regularly refuses to allow doctors and other medical professionals to leave even if they have visas.

The Cuban government "imposes nearly insurmountable obstacles to emigration to the United States for medical professionals," the State Department report said.

And yet MORE still…

Cuba also collects an estimated $12 million (euro9.88 million) each year in fees for exit permits and medical examinations that some U.S.-bound migrants have difficulty paying, according to the State Department.

So even by legal means , the POLITICS of the KaSStrist regime impedes a reasonable and straight forward emigration to the USA.

MOST Cubans who are granted USA visas do NOT have the financial means to contribute to KaSStro’s 12 million revenue stream extorted from those who even legally wish to leave the island.

This declaration from the USA TOTALLY and unequivocally smash the theory that Cubans (ANY Cuban) jumps on a boat , risking life and limb for “economic reasons”

And... If this was not enough, this is the official assessment of the USA regarding those poor souls who are returned to Kuba.

The U.S. government says it has evidence that Cuba retaliates against migrants who are returned after they are caught attempting to make the ocean crossing. Doctors have been demoted or forced to work in remote locations; teachers are "deemed untrustworthy" and made to become janitors in their former schools.

Based on this I want ANYONE to debate the POLITICAL vs ECONOMIC issue of Cuban migration to the USA. I want anyone to compare it with that of Haiti or Santo Domingo. I want the USA to explain to all Cubans why knowing what they know and being FULLY aware of WHY a desperate Cuban takes to the water, they hide behind the curtain of a “law” which has been utterly tainted by partisan interests and only acts as means to enforce legal discrimination while trying to maintain the façade of fairness and good will for those destined to live the horrors of KaSStro Kuba.

we are WAITING guys!

October 10th, 1868

In this place, the sugar mill La Demajagua, at the break of the day of October 10th, 1868, Carlos Manuel de Cespedes declared the start of the war for the independence of Cuba.
While tolling the bell that was used to summon the slaves to work, he made them full fledged citizens of Cuba, and told them that they were free men and women, either to fight for the indepence of Cuba or to go on with their lives as they wished. They choose to fight for the freedom of all Cubans. And this was their flag:

This was a crucial point in the history of Cuba, and the real independence and freedom of Cuba are still to be achieved. One hundred and thirty seven years after, we found ourselves with a country ruined beyond believe, shamed into an apartheid for all Cuban citizens; white, black or Asian, and divided by gaps full of blood. Our independence and freedom were hijacked by a terrorist, fidel kagasstro. Our independence and freedom will only be possible when his tyranny is defeated and destroyed. A free Cuba can only exist without kagasstro and his thugs.
Today "Viva Cuba Libre" is a forbidden expression in Cuba, since kagasstro have hijacked the notions of homeland, flag, and patriotic symbols. The destruction of the tyranny is the ultimate homage still to be given to all the men and women who died for the freedom of Cuba.

Old images...

This was one of the first images I ever made mocking that criminal idol of the left.
It was a succcess at that time, and in the truckload of mail I receive everyday I've been asked to post it -now in our own blog- again.
I did many others, like this one:

It was published in this blog a couple of weeks ago, but I been asked for it by people who are too lazy to dig into our archives.
Since all our readers mean a lot to us (even the idiots who send us hate mail) I am publishing them again. Last opportunity! If you like the images, please save them! And remember that they are our intellectual property!

An old fantasy

Many years ago, in the mid eighties, a friend of mine approached me with an earlier version of this drawing, and he invited me to come to the U.S. with him and a group of people who have been sworn to secrecy.
For many reasons, the raft was never built and the small band of friends involved in the conspiracy managed to leave Cuba by safer methods. At that time we had only two options, either we made it to the States or we died in the sea, we were very fortunate, because we didn't have the menace of the dry-foot wet-foot policy over us. Those were pre Clinton days.
One day, years ago, I received this new version of the drawing, and I have treasured it ever since.
The author of the drawing died in exile, a free man.
His family lives still in Cuba. And he lives in them.

I wish you were a baseball player.

Whenever I look at the sport sections of the papers, which is very rare, I find some familiar face or name. Baseball player A or B who made it from Cuba and who is doing pretty well, or not so well, in Team 1 or Team 2. They get a pretty hefty bag of money for their contributions to those teams, and that wealth gets distributed in many ways, one of them being providing a lot of people with the opportunity of making a living. As I have told several friends, I feel that the Big Leagues should be recruiting more aggressively inside the island, with undercover scouts so they can outfox kagasstro and bring more deserving talents to the baseball field.
I am really happy that the troupe dancers that obtained asylum recently are doing so well in Las Vegas. They are using their talents and abilities in the very competitive entertainment world and they are making inroads in the well established dance scene in Las Vegas.
Those Cubans are just a sample of the underutilized talent that lies undiscovered in the island, and I am not talking only sports and arts, there are many brilliant professionals and inventors who are sidetracked by the regime just because they don't lead a double life as government sympathisers by day and opponents by night. They oppose the flat iron policies of the regime and they are ostracized with no oportunity to leave and defect. Those are the ones that are being sent back under the dry-foot wet-foot policy, and this country is not taking advantage of the incredible amount of talented people who want to come here badly enough to risk their lives on the sea or crossing the Mexican border.
The problem is economics. As I repeat all the time, politics and economics are fused together, and political systems are defined by their economic views and practices.
Those Cubans who are accepted here as the baseball players and the dancers are no different from the balsero that is sent back. The first group has a built-in advantage, they have industries that are willing to take a risk in helping them out because they are guaranteed to produce money that reverts into society and the goverment wants them because they will pay a huge load of money in taxes. A balsero is a different species altogether. They come here with only the wet rags that covers their bodies and with knowledge, potential, and abilities that reside in them. The problem is that we don't see those untangible goods, unless they come in a converted truck that the Coast Guard will machine gun until it goes down to the bottom of the sea. Personally, I am partial to rescue those converted vehicles and send them back to the automakers as a testimony of American quality and Cuban ingeniosity coming together in making seaworthy amphibious machines out of vintage vehicles.
The balseros are poor in the moment of arrival and with no apparent potential, because a wet and scared human being looks the same than the next. Really bad.
There's no articulation in the speech of somebody that has spent a week at the mercy of the sea, there's no way of knowing who they are or what they can offer, and no time to find out, since they are sent on their way back if they don't touch land.
And that's totally unfair.
Besides, a player or a performer gets an immediate recognition, and becoming a celebrity is almost to become a deity, as we all know. Also, they tend to be very quiet about politics, so they don't step on any toes. If they stay quiet is because they want to help their families to survive in Cuba or to come here, and they fear the repercussions of kagasstro's revenge, something that is carried out through the leftist media. A balsero, on the other hand, has nothing to lose. He or she will voice whatever frustration he or she may harbor. They won't be able to spend a lot of money on anything, they will not be able to sustain with their wealth the work and services of same amount of people that a celebrity can, and they won't be paying such huge taxes. They are poor and poor is ugly.
So our duty is help them to have an easy transition while they go up in society, because ascending that ladder requires a lot of know-how. We also need to press for their acceptance in this country, and for the total elimination of that horrendous barrier that is the wet foot dry foot ordinance. After all, nothing is being done to eliminate the cause of all evils ninety miles south of Key West. Let them in.

Get over it lefties!

The guy will keep on being dead. The beast is not coming back, lefties, get over it.
One interesting thing though, is that kagasstro always gave the date of this assassin blast off as October 8. Well, a little detail here... On October 8 this rat was still alive, but kagasstro was already writing him off. So on October 9 he was sent back to hell, after kagasstro sold him by giving him out to the world as stiff and cold. Either way, kagasstro needed the useles bastard dead to create a myth that the exporters of the revolution could use. With his demise the world became a better place and t's even better since then, especially because that monster is not around anylonger.

KaSStro - The bride left at the altar

This piece of “news” come to us via the noted and respected publication “EL ESCAMBRAY de Sancti Spiritus City local news paper . I kid you not! THAT is the banner on one of Kuba's most trasured comodities ; Ink covered toilet paper !

El Escambray, Sports Section

HAVANA, Oct 7 (RHC) Cuba has condemned Thursday the U.S. administration’s decision on not granting the U.S. visas to Cuban baseball team for competing at the classifying regional tournament in Puerto Rico.

Of course this shit is directed to those who already believe KaSStro is a REAL, president and as a REAL president would, he is aghast at what he perceives to be unfair treatment on the part of his most hated enemy. God he HATES the USA, but Jesus does he LOVE to dance at our parties.

What about the 500+ Cubans who have received USA Visas and have not been given the exit permit? Anyone with the COJONES to ask him THAT?.

For those of you who may NOT know this. Kuba requires TWO visas to travel outside the Commie Shangri-La. One from the country you are visiting and one from the County you are exiting.
Indeed the MOST democratic country in the WORLD!
KaSStrists SURELY wants to be convinced that YOU really want to leave the KaSStroland.

They achieve this by letting you sit around unemployed with no means of supporting yourself or your family while you become TRULY positive you want to get the fuck away from that hell hole.

BUT.. There is MORE….

Along with the vigorous condemnation above I also got this bit of news:

Cuba pays homage to fugitive Puerto Rican independence activist recently killed in FBI shootout

HAVANA --A son of the fugitive Puerto Rican independence activist who was recently killed in a shootout with FBI agents joined President Fidel Castro and other Cuban authorities Thursday in remembering his late father, Filiberto Ojeda Rios.

So the senile prick now has decided to stick his witch like fingers into Puerto Rico.

So who is this Filiberto Ojeda Rios you ask? Here is why this other prick got a bullet in his clavicle:

Filiberto Ojeda Rios is the leader of the "Ejercito Popular Boricua (Puerto Rican Army of the People) - Los Macheteros". Based in Puerto Rico, this clandestine terrorist group has claimed responsibility for numerous armed robberies and terrorist bombings since 1978.

Ojeda Rios is being sought in connection with the September 12, 1983, armed robbery of $7.2 million from the Wells Fargo Depot in Hartford, Connecticut. He is also wanted for bond default in September of 1990.

And the Beast chooses to honor a self declared , terrorist, thief and murderer of innocent Puerto Ricans and is appalled at the fact the USA is not letting his baseball minion within Puerto Rican soil.

If it wasn’t so god damn immoral, so devoid of any scruples so cynical and hypocritical it WOULD be funny.

He keeps biting the tit that he so desperately wants to suckle on and when it is denied, he reverts to the same petulance he showed as a totally inept and unemployed lawyer. When in a frantic paroxysm of self importance tells his young wife "I CAN'T work I have more important things to do"

Kasstros HUGE obsession with the USA can be captured in two words “Unrequited love”
KaSStro has had a life time of infatuation with the USA and whether it was the request for $10.00USD to Roosevelt that went unanswered or the off handed “go fuck yourself” of Eisenhower on his first visit to the USA he just hasn’t gotten over it.

He will always feel like the jilted lover. Left at the altar. Forced to fuck the smelly Russians because the love of his life just didn’t want ANYTHING to do with him.

His frustration is such that he can not aim straight. He will simultaneously complain for not getting an invite to the party and offer comfort and asylum to the host’s enemies.

In plain CUBANO .. “Ni se peina ni se hace papelitos” In English he doesn’t know whether to take a shit or shine his shoes. The well oiled propaganda machine is getting creaky.

These behavioral incongruence seems to be getting worse with age. We can all see what made him honor a vile and self proclaim terrorist. This is his desperate “I will TEACH YOU!” response to the Posada-Carriles issue.

The petulant old hag LIVES for these moments of masturbatory pleasure. In his syphilitic mind he is INDEED teaching the Yanks a lesson while totally forgetting about the

GOD DAMN BASEBALL GAME! becuse when everything fails, he will always have his faithfull and trusted "Strong notes of protest" to distribute like locust over egypt.

You've got mail

One of the things that you get when you have a blog is mail. Just second to spam. Tons of mail, fan mail and hate mail alike clog your mailbox everyday.
I've been posting lately about the mail that without being hate mail, doesn't precisely qualify as fan mail or love letters.
Today I discarded a lot of that load.
For example some people are really funny, they don't like our opinions and want us to shut down the blog. Simply like that. Others just expect and demand that we give them a tribune here just to go against what we said. My advise: open your own blog, and deal with it. I won't bother in reading it, anyway!
There are others who want their letters published. And all of them complain that we don't allow dissent, oh well, read the manual of instructions before you even try to read this blog.
People confuse blogs with public forums, and there's no bigger mistake.
Going back to the hot hate mail letters, some have bothered me to no end. And some others are risible! I love my hate mail.
I will use this opportunity to tell my correspodents that I promise to read all the fan mail and toss away the hate mail. Otherwise, I have not that many hours left in my day to be blogging!

Ah, science!

The Ig Prize had this years among his recipients a Greg Miller. This gentleman invented prosthetic testicles for neutered dogs, made out of silicone! The idea is that a set of testicles is implanted in a dog after the intervention, so the dog suffers less trauma and his self esteem is not damaged. The "silinuts" come in several sizes, degrees of firmness, and shape.
He actually needs to partner with us to start selling them to politicians, the 'Rats are in big need! I propose to send some courtesy samples around, and y'all will see how the self esteem of some politicians is going to come back.
The set for politicians dealing with issues regarding Cuba, like the nullification of the dry-foot wet-foot, is special order.

I got a NEW beef …Technology

Technology is a motherfucker!
No sooner do you get nice and comfy with your latest online toy and some asshole figures out how to hijack it and trash you space with spam .

I always wondered if this actually works! My feeling is if I got a SPAM offer with a product that would make me drop 10 lb, grow my winky 4 inches and give me the wining lotto number for the next MEGA million draw I would just delete the thing.. Do people STILL fall for this shit? And if they do, shouldn’t their web surfing privileges be revoked?

Anyway.. Three days after KILLCASTRO went up as a blog, we started getting swamped with SPAM . The solution was to turn on the Blogger “verification”
Feature.

Now, who the FUCK came up with this bit of business?

Unless the verification mumbo jumbo is like – at the most-4 letters I NEVER hit it right. I am DYSLEXIC for Christ’s sake! So I think that even LEGALLY this may be a case of discrimination to a particular handicap. Lucky for BLOGGER I am not the litigious type ( and I also hate lawyers)

It is down right counter intuitive

Yeah I know, if it was any easier easier ( like having a REAL word being displayed ) then the spammers will figure it out.

How? I asked myself. Well it APPEARS that the spammers would OCR the graphic and get the verification word from there.

Well to do this requires one hell of a hacking utility.

Let’s look at the sequence:
1) Grab the graphic from the screen
2) Save the graphic to the SPAMER’S system
3) Put the graphic through an OCR (Optical Character Recognition)
4) Get the word
5) Send the word back
6) Press the POST button.

I think that only the MOST determined spammers with the most amount of time and resources can actually do this. But this ridiculous “verification” system was some asshole’s brainchild and the industry is just too lazy to go back and re-think the utter stupidity of this system.

Off the top of my head I can think of about 10 ways this can be improved.

1) Have 5 graphics and only one has a REAL word in it. Randomize where the real word appears. BOOM, now the possibilities OCRing the right one decrease by 400 fold.

2) Have picture of THINGS that can NOT be OCRed
3 lions , 4 ducks , 1 dog , 1 swing , 6 boys, 3 girls. Whatever

Then the answer would be
The number of items and what the items are
i.e. :3 cats

The back end software can parse the answer and grab the gist of it.
So if we show 4 lions and the answer contains the number 4 and the word lion (singular) is a good answer.

To be fair BLOGGER’S “validation” is not the worse I have seen. I have been at sites where all you get is a BLOB of nothing and that goes on for 5 or 6 times until you just go .”Oh fuck THIS; I have better things to do with MY time”

Making this validation thing a little bit friendlier not only helps the end user but helps increase the site’s overall traffic

So ENGINEERS of the web world.. GET OFF YOUR ASSES and figure something that is not such a cumbersome piece of lazy problem solving.

But, I guess EVERYONE is waiting for Bill Gates and the boys to come up with it, and give t to the public domain. That surely gives you a lot more time to hack away at your Linux box, and post Anti Microsoft slogans on hacker’s sites.

The Rolling Stones Big Bang

So the Rolling Stones Big Bang concert was threatened by Al-Qaeda with a big bang boom.
Let me tell you one thing Salif: If you don't like the Stones there's a fair chance you don't like the guys on this blog and there's also a chance that they don't like you either, Ali, Mohamed, Yaya, Saleem or whatever the fuck your silly name is.
Keep on playing games and I am going to give you a good rub in hog lard and make you drink a couple of gallons of hog blood, Ahmed. All of that before, during, and after the biggest kickass you have ever seen this side of the crap of your camel.
Face it towel head, the Stones were born under the German bombs. And they are here to stay, while your ass is going to hell.

WASHINGTON (Oct. 7) - A bomb threat halted a Rolling Stones concert in Charlottesville, Va., overnight, but police found nothing and the band returned to the stage about 45 minutes later, officials said on Friday.

The threat was made in a phone call just before 9 p.m. on Thursday and was "specific to the stage area" of the concert at the University of Virginia's Scott stadium, which was packed with 50,000 fans, said university spokeswoman Carol Wood.

"Word was got to Mick Jagger and he announced that the band would take a 10-minute break," Wood said.

The Stones frontman and the rest of the band left the stage and police with sniffer dogs, already in the stadium for checks before the concert, searched the area.

When the all-clear was given, the Stones went back on stage and played past midnight to complete the concert.

The band kicked off their present North American tour in Boston in August.

From ABC NEWS

To all our readers in NYC, there's an alert on the subways, and it's under investigation. Please be careful and alert. FIGHT BACK and support the police officers in their task and the agents from Homeland Security. BE ALERT.
Also, remember that these assholes are tearing a page from kagasstro's book, that old shitbag wanted to do the same in the early nineteen sixties.

TERROR ALERT IN NYC SUBWAY

Oct. 6, 2005 — The New York City Police Department is investigating what it deems a credible tip that 19 operatives have been deployed to New York to place bombs in the subway, and security in the subways will be increased, sources told ABC News.

While the police department is taking the threat seriously, it is also urging the public not to be alarmed because – while the source is credible – the information has not been verified.

According to sources in intelligence, emergency services and police headquarters, when three Iraqi insurgents were arrested several days ago during a raid by a joint FBI-CIA team, one of those caught disclosed the threat. Because it slipped out during the arrest, the plot was deemed credible.

After several days of work, sources said, the NYPD is increasingly concerned because it has been unable to discredit the initial source and additional information from the source.

The 19 operatives were to place improvised explosive devices in the subways using briefcases, according to two sources.

The police are deploying additional officers, dogs and heavy weapons teams in subways and commuter rail terminals, sources said.

Department of Homeland Security sources told ABC News they are very doubtful the threat information is credible, though NYPD sources said the information continues to come in and is disturbing.

ABC News' Rich Esposito and Pierre Thomas contributed to this report.

Castro brothers helped KGB, files show

By Bill Gertz The Washington Times
Published October 6, 2005

Soviet intelligence files made public in a new book show that American travelers to Cuba helped KGB agents obtain identity documents and that Fidel Castro and his brother worked with the spy agency five years before taking power in the 1959 revolution.

New details of Moscow's intelligence work in Cuba were disclosed by Vasili Mitrokhin, a former KGB archivist who defected to Britain in 1992.

According to the book, Russian KGB officer Nikolai Leonov became "firm friends," with Mr. Castro's younger brother Raul in Prague in 1953 and then worked together with Fidel from 1956 and after he took power in 1959. The book, the second volume of what is known as the Mitrokhin archive, also reveals how Moscow sought to indirectly defeat the United States during the Cold War through large-scale "disinformation" and influence operations in the developing world.

"The KGB really believed they could win the Cold War in the Third World," said Christopher Andrew, a Cambridge history professor and co-author of the new book, "The World Was Going Our Way." Mr. Mitrokhin died last year.

The information provided by Mr. Mitrokhin was considered an intelligence bonanza and identified hundreds of KGB officers, agents and operations. Among the thousands of classified KGB files provided by Mr. Mitrokhin were documents related to Americans who traveled to Cuba beginning in 1969 as part of the pro-Castro Venceremos Brigade.

The KGB helped set up Cuba's DGI intelligence service, which imposed draconian controls on Cuban society and also arranged for the visits of Americans.

The book reveals that Fidel Castro publicly supported the American activists but privately "looked askance at the presence of gay and women's liberation movements among his American New Left supporters," the book stated.

According to the authors, the DGI complained to its KGB counterparts that "the New Left brigadistas were homosexuals and drug addicts." "Venceremos gays, the DGI bizarrely reported, saw 'the possibility of using homosexuality to bring about the physical degeneration of American imperialism,' " the authors write, quoting the Cuban memo to Moscow. "The Brigade however, proved a valuable source of U.S. identity documents for use in [undercover] intelligence operations," the authors said, noting that the American travelers were "an important propaganda asset." A spokesman for the Venceremos Brigade, based in New Jersey, could not be reached for comment.

In Iraq, the KGB also sought unsuccessfully to recruit Saddam Hussein who was fascinated with Soviet dictator Josef Stalin and had all of Stalin's writings translated into Arabic. The KGB also suppled Saddam with military intelligence about U.S. war plans during the 1991 Persian Gulf war.

Other KGB operations outlined in the book include:

•The recruitment of Palestinian terrorists and providing advice to terrorists involved in kidnappings and assassinations.

•The planting of agents inside the Syrian intelligence service that allowed Syria to become a Soviet ally in the Middle East.

•The backing of Sandinista guerrillas in Nicaragua.

•Covert funding of Indian political parties and newspapers, including Prime Minister Indira Gandhi's government and party.

A nice T-Shirt

Contrary to popular belief there are New Yorkers who are in their right mind. I photographed this guy a few minutes ago... He says Hi! to all of our readership.

Illegal immigrants.

Cubans are illegal immigrants.
In Cuba, in their own land if they choose to live in a province or city other than the one of their "state approved residence" they can be jailed, and all of their property (which is not a lot, to begin with)in "virtue" of a communist law that makes them into "illegal immigrants". That's why when they finally arrive in the States they are POLITICAL REFUGEES, all of them, get that. And I don't care about anyone's academic credentials to dispute that, simply because those so called academics have not lived the communist hell that Cuba is. They are quick to judge, analyze and put people in neatly labeled boxes! Besides, tell me how's that one can separate politics from economics. I tell you one thing, many of the people who come here form capitalistic countries come either because they are more successful than their society allows for (they generally become even more successful here) or because they are unable to make it there because their own limitations and come here to take jobs that sit low in the labor market scale. A Cuban comes because the political system doesn't allow them to succeed in their own land with their abilities and because progress in Cuba goes against the grain of the communist regime, therefore, if you are successful you are automatically prosecuted by the dictatorship. Look at the success that a Cuban achieves after a few years here and to the level of linguistic ability and integration to society.
Having said this, it becomes really clear that every Cuban classifies to ALL of the considerations that Amnesty International and the High Commision for Refugees for the United Nations apply so selectively to everybody without even considering the plea of Cubans a valid one.
Now, anyone who is against the balseros and other Cuban defectors being accepted in this country is simply an accomplice of kagasstro in keeping Cubans jailed in the biggest penal facility in the world, Cuba, where even your movement to visit relatives can be limited. God forbid that you have a relative that lives near a tourist facility. God forbid that your relative humble home is near a military base. If you are a Cuban you are a government hostage, and that makes you in my book a refugee if you come to this land.

Iran's Lies

In the ongoing crisis over Iran’s nuclear program, Teheran has insisted that their nuclear capabilities are for civilian use only. I don’t think anyone bought that feeble argument coming from the numero ono Islamofascist nation and I can’t wait to hear their latest obscure reasoning in light of this:

Army takes control of Iran nukes
By David R. Sands
THE WASHINGTON TIMES
October 5, 2005

Iran's new president, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, has placed the military firmly in control of his nation's nuclear program, undercutting his government's claim that the program is intended for civilian use, according to a leading opposition group.

"The military under the new president is firmly in control of the nuclear program and the nuclear negotiations with the United Nations and the West," said Mohammad Mohaddessin, chairman of the NCRI's foreign affairs committee, in a telephone interview yesterday.
The personnel changes "make it less and less credible that Iran is pursuing nuclear programs for peaceful uses," he said.

The report, which also tracks Iran's extensive nuclear infrastructure and technical programs, charges that Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamanei has turned to IRGC personnel in order to "eliminate all bureaucratic and political obstacles to obtaining nuclear weapons" (emphasis mine)

It's just trash....

I heard that the Russians are debating what to do with that old mummy of communism, Lenin. I mean, what to do with the darn rotting corpse. Most of them don't give a damn about the old man who invented socialized mysery and they want to get rid of the yellowing vampire in the open coffin. The old evil's been in public viewing in his mausoleum at the Red Square since he went to his last party meeting with Daddy Lucifer. The mummy is discoloring, it's been reconstructed with a Russian version of bondo plastic, that material of auto body shop noblesse and pedigree. One would think that the Soviets would hire somebody from Madame Toussaud's, but the personnel of the wax museum was not fond of asking for political asylum in the Soviet block. It was more or less the other way around!
I hope they tossed the corpse really far from the mausoleum and they transform the installation into a night club. He hated music, fun, and kept people from having a good time, so let's give it to him that way, what do you think?
Now, let's go to a little island close to us...
Chances are that kagasstro would like to keep the mummy close to his voodoo quarters, since after all he commands the last outpost of commmiedom this side of the Kremlin, and that would be great folks. Imagine this scenario: Cubans get rid of kagasstro and they burn the two corpses to fine ashes. And they they thrown them down the nearest toilet. That'd be poetic justice! Wouldn't that be sweet?
What's with commies that nobody actually wants to deal with them not even when they are dead and propped up by the official communist party taxidermist?
I suspect we know why: they are despicable entities.
The hell with them. To hell with them.

Cuban Roots of Rock 'n' Roll

Another good reason to love Cubans

The Birth of Rockabilly - Afro-Cuban rhythms in the music by Paul F. Clifford

What is Rockabilly?

Until the 1970s, the only known reference to "Rockabilly" appeared in 1956 in a trade magazine. Since then, it has been described as "the hybrid of blues and country that became rock & roll," or "the earliest style of white Rock'n'Roll, which blended blues with country" or as Carl Perkins put it "it is a white man's song with a black man's rhythm".

It might surprise those dancers who consider Rockabilly the purest form of rock but in DanceSport circles, Rockabilly is considered just another form of Rock’n’Roll (or Swing) and is classified as a Latin Style of Dance. There are several explanations for this classification that involve dance technique and styling but believe it or not, the original music has roots associated with Afro-Cuban rhythms.

Salsa, Rumba and the variety of music/dances that these days we loosely refer to as having an Afro-Cuban have a basis in a Cuban style of music that dates back to the nineteenth century and before - The Habanera (from Havana). Tango has roots in the Habanera and believe it or not, so does Rockabilly.

Back in the beginning of the rock era (more so than in what we now call Rock’n’Roll), the original artists unique interpretations of the Habanera rhythm once defined Rockabilly. The use of hybrid guitar lines formed by accenting "three uneven beats" within a boogie-woogie context is what gave the music its unique sound. The musicians approximated a Habanera pattern by accenting certain notes of the boogie line and introduced a Latin flavor intermixed with the drive and chordal fullness of boogie.

It is well documented that the Habanera began to have a major influence on North American music around the time of the Spanish-American War. By the beginning of the twentieth century, Latin musical flavorings were found in a variety of North American music and even influenced dance styles as divergent as the Charleston and the Jitterbug. In the decades, 1920 through World War II, Latin syncopation, especially that found in the Habanera pattern, spread into the repertory of many of North America’s popular musicians. In fact the rhythm had become so common place that its Afro-Cuban roots were largely unknown or forgotten by most people who listened and danced to the music.

You can find the Habanera in many of rock’s earliest hits, and both European American and African American musicians used it. Along with slower ballads in triple time and faster boogie-woogie songs, the Habanera became a standard rhythm played in various instrumental combinations. For example, the Habanera can frequently be heard in the pianist's left hand or played on the string bass and saxophone. It was used as a repeated rhythmic motif for the saxophone section, as in Bill Haley's 1954 version of "Shake Rattle and Roll" or in a more relaxed manner as in Fats Domino's 1955 recording of "Blue Monday".

Another instance where the Habanera was used can be found in Little Richard's "Slippin' `n' Slidin'," which peaked at number 2 on the Billboard R&B chart in March 1956. The band's saxophone section remains faithful to a full eight-note swinging Habanera pattern. The bass on the other hand, plays a syncopated Habanera variation. The background music to Little Richard’s vocal is in fact conventional Afro-Cuban!

There are contradictions in the development of Rockabilly especially in terms of "a white man's song with a black man's rhythm" as Carl Perkin's once described it. Rockabilly was born in the heart of the segregated confederecy of the USA's south and while some white musicians did have direct contact with black musicians, for others their only interaction was by listening to "black" radio and recordings. It is almost ironic that black music infiltrated the white domain of Country music especially when the musical norm that was so popular then was the type of country music typified by Hank Williams. Back then, Country bands obeyed static, unspoken rules of musical arrangement where the patterns played by the acoustic bass were kept simple, playing two or four notes to a bar or in the case of 3/4 time, only one note per bar and the electric guitar often took on the timing role of drums, playing muffled single-note rhythmic patterns on the lower strings as a harmonic reinforcement. In the 1950s drums were only beginning to be used in Country music! This whole blen was in direct contrast to the synchopated rhythms that Rockabilly which infused the music with a drum beat which had always been integral to Latin music. Without drums and syncopated rhthms Country music was pretty bland in the early 1950s and then came Elvis Presley!

In 1956, the unconventional style of Elvis's music took the world by storm. Trying to emulate his success, many professional recording-session bassists, accustomed to country music's norms, were being forced by the market to discover unusual and energetic patterns to spice up the backing tracks and found themselves borrowing from the mainstream of Latin rhthms for inspiration - the evolution of rock began.

It is hard to dispute the influence of the Habanera on the music of the 1950s but Rockabilly musicians of the time were not attempting to play Latin music!
Whether intentionally or accidentally Rockabilly musicians chose Habanera patterns for their recordings, simply because the sound was unique - their form of rebellion against the stayed country music of that time. For the most part, southern musicians, such as Elvis, were exposed to Latin rhythms in a variety of ways but like jazz, to them, it was probably just a "interesting" exotic rhythm.

Some authorities consider Elvis Presley’s early recordings at Sun Studio as the starting point for Rockabilly. However, these recordings predate Elvis' major successes and don't show a lot of Latin influence! Only two songs recorded in this time come even close to using a Habanera pattern: "Trying to Get to You" and a slower, blues-like "I'm Left, You're Right, She's Gone," both recorded in 1955. In both cases the electric guitarist Scotty Moore plays Habanera like patterns on the lower strings while the bass remains in its traditional country two-beat pattern but in 1956 with his move to RCA, the contribution of the Habanera to Elvis' rise to fame is evident.

It wasn’t until Elvis’s recorded for RCA in Nashville and specifically the recording of the Rockabilly anthem - "Hound Dog" - that the syncopated Habanera rhythmic pattern was employed as the central, continuous beat pattern for a release by Elvis. Around this time several other singers were expanding the new Rockabilly style! Several other artists were using variations of the Habanera. For example, the often recorded "Twenty Flight Rock," first recorded by ex-country singer Eddie Cochran, uses the Latin rhythm as a jumping-off point and this technique was duplicated with the hit "Teen Age Partner" recorded by Gene Vincent and the Blue Caps. The Cochran formula was to have the guitar and bass play the Habanera rhythm during the verses only and return to straight walking boogie patterns for the choruses and solo sections. This gave rise to the essential flavour of Rockabilly which was really just an assimilation of the flavor of Habanera into the otherwise nonsyncopated style of the country musician.

Something has been lost since the early birth and adolescence of Rockabilly and it is not surprising that Rock enthusiasts prefer the classics to the "stuff" that has been marketed during the various Rockabilly revivals throughout the last half of the twentieth century. As musicologist Roy Brewer puts it, "Given the extensive use of the Latin rhythms in 1950s Rockabilly and rhythm and blues, it is ironic that one of the elements lost in the Rockabilly revival of the 1980s was the use of the Habanera. The pattern, now commonly used in television commercials for nostalgia, regardless of its historical validity, is much more identified with African American blues artists than with Rockabilly."

Mass exodus

The history of this country has been defined by mass exodus, at different periods. And the outcome is the great nation we have and enjoy today, so it was not that bad. Not bad at all, we got the best country in the freaking world. I care not if the left complains about it, we have the best country in the whole world. Period.
Mass exodus has been a blessing to the ethnic, religious and cultural make up of this country, so don't give me for a second more that one that a mass exodus of Cubans will unstabilize the equillibrium of Earth. Let's get real here.
In another posting I talked about how a large amount of Cubans coming to this country could be employed in the reconstruction of the big swatch of land destroyed by the hurricanes Katrina and Rita. Many Cubans settle in the most unexpected locations of this country and usually they do well. Well enough to hear most of them saying "I am the American Dream". From truck drivers, to baseball players, to surgeons, farmers, gas station attendants and every walk of life in between. I won't talk about the illegal immigrants (political refugees) that came in the Mayflower. I won't talk about who preceeded them, Columbus and the Spanish and Cubans (there were a few already born in the island) who settled in Northern Florida in 1565 where they laid down and built Saint Augustine. Let's not mention Key West, Tampa or Ybor City, other than but en passant.
The mass exodus I want to really mention are the waves of immigration that brought people to an already crowded place, New York. The Irish. The Polish. The Germans. The Italian, the Jews, the Russians, the Asians, everybody. They did well and they gave a lot to this country and this city and this country.
Then you have the Cubans. Since 1959, they have been coming to this country in great waves, during the sixties, the seventies, the eighties and after, in a mass exodus that has never stopped. And they have done well enough to be considered a social phenomenon in the history of this country. Now, look around. Everything you have around you is the product of the men and women that came here before you did. So, history has to stop because it will cause a traffic jam?
Because it will overcrowd the cities temporarily?
First, let's be real.... how many people is a mass exodus? Do you really think that everybody from Cuba is going to come here? There's a lot of people who are not going to leave whatever they have whenever they are. That doesn't happen. Don't be silly!
Will all of them choose to settle in the same city? I don't think so.
Don't you think that they will bring something of value to this country, as are abilities, qualifications, new blood to certain communities and the willingness to improve their lives? Now, before some academic starts telling me that they are doing badly here, I will tell all of you that everything is relative. Maybe they are not doing as well as you do, but you're no golden rule to measure social advancement. They are doing better than they were doing in Cuba and give them a generation and you will see how far they go.
Next time you hear "mass exodus" don't panic. Most likely you or your ancestors were part of one.
And maybe from time to time you catch yourself humming Bob Marley's tune...

A morning lashing.

As many of you have noticed, I am giving some lashing to the Cubans that don't want the balseros to come, and who have a lot of disdain for fellow Cubans who are coming from the island on these days....
They say that if you came after 1960 something then you are an economic migrant. So basically are telling me that I am an economic migrant and that I have an expiration date tag attached to my body, some kind of gusano shelf life of sorts. What happens if you were born after the sixties? Well, they would say, then you are a commie because you were brought up under communism. And that's and insult.
That's just part of the load of bullcrap discharged every day onto the newcomers by some badly endowed ass who thinks that he is higher than thou.
I am in a really good mood today. So I won't just punch faces to mash potatoes.
They typically have a problem if you call your family. Or if you send them money or medication. Oh, you are a newcomer! forget about your family! that's the message...
Who the hell are you to tell people how to expend their money?
What the hell do you have against people calling their families?
Good thing that they didn't stay in Cuba, they would have made great Communist Party indoctrination officials. Hey, after all that's what they tell you in Cuba: not to have any contact with your relatives in Miami (or in exile) and people still manage to have contact with them!
Then, most of those suckers feel like if you don't live in Miami you're not a bona fide gusano. God forbid you live in New York, California or Europe. Then you are a clone of kagasstro! God forbid you live in Canada, Latin America, Asia, Australia or even Africa -yes, the Cuban diaspora covers the whole damn world.
I don't live in Miami. Just because I don't like the hot and humid weather and because I love winter and the four seasons and because I go wherever I want, as I please. Where the hell did that idea come from? Who said that one needs to live in Miami to be gusano?
I came to this country to live wherever the hell I found convenient for me. And to do whatever the hell I want without following indications issued by a some ideological mullah who does no more than spewing fatwas.
For general information, I haven't been back to Cuba for my personal convictions and reasons, not because I pay any attention to whatever somebody tells me to do. Or when and how.
I didn't do what the commies told me to do in Cuba, and they could have very well obliged me if they had the balls to do it. So, will I ever pay a second of attention to some full of crap old fart who thinks that he is entitled to pester me with his interpretation of the world?
Why do I have to pay attention people who in spite being Cuban hold a position against having more Cubans coming to freedom? Fuck them. Let the Cubans in. If somebody doesn't like it, though.
How's that such enlightened people fail to see and understand that politics and economics are inextricably fused in a totalitarian regime (and in a democratic form of government too)? There's no economic migration from Cuba, all is about the politics that have been forced onto the population of that country during the last half of a century (almost half). The majority of the population of Cuba was born under communism. They despise communism and they didn't have any part in installing kagasstro in power. So be fair to them. After all, those old farts will end up in a nursing home with a new comer wiping their asses and giving them their medication, get used to it. And when Cuba is free, those suckers need not go back, they are going to be as welcome there as they make feel the balseros here. Scratch the skin of someone who don't want to see more balseros coming to this country and underneath you will see a very ugly beast.

Document the illegitimacy of Hugo Chávez and denounce him

Gustavo Coronel over at Vascaíno@Venezuela has written a great expose detailing exactly why Hugo Chavez’s presidency is illegitimate.

Much of the written arguments in favor of Hugo Chávez, especially abroad, are connected to the legitimacy of his presidency. The arguments are repeated incessantly: Chávez won the presidential elections in December 1998 and, therefore, he is a legitimate president. Furthermore, the arguments go, he has been re-legitimated in several other elections since 1998. The fact that every one of those other elections has shown numerous irregularities and some will be tainted forever does not seem to make an impression on the advocates of legitimacy. In their favor, they cite Jimmy Carter's approval of the presidential recall referendum of 2004. Although the jury is still out on the role of Jimmy Carter in this event and new evidence will surely emerge in this connection, his opinion at the time was determinant in the rapid recognition that the countries of the hemisphere gave to the Venezuelan process. Venezuelans have not forgotten this Carter related tragic episode and the nation would do well to return to it as soon as political circumstances allow.

The misuse of national resources is dramatic and has provoked the ruin of Venezuelan physical infrastructure: Highways are collapsing, new housing is not being built, and hospitals lack the most essential equipment and supplies. The amount of evidence in this regard is overwhelming.

Does this sound familiar? It should, the instructions on how to oppress a nation’s population, steal a country and confiscate its private property and resources come straight from Cagastro.

Venezuela has obtained about US$140 billion from oil sales in the seven years under the Chávez regime. In addition, national debt has doubled during this time and is now some US$42 billion. In addition, about US$6 billion of the international reserves deposited by law at the Venezuelan Central Bank are now being used by the regime without controls. This immense mass of money, some US$190 billion, has coexisted with a chronic fiscal deficit and has been and is being mostly wasted

Surrendering of Venezuelan sovereignty

The alignment of Hugo Chávez with Fidel Castro cannot be confused with a simple process of integration between the two nations. This is a political and military fusion through which Chávez obtains the protection and political patronage of Castro, while giving Castro the oil and money that belong to the Venezuelan people. In the process of this perverse alliance Chavez has given up considerable Venezuelan national sovereignty by letting Cuban nationals handle sensitive areas of Venezuelan military and political intelligence, by letting Cubans act as police in Venezuelan territory, by letting some 50,000 Cubans invade Venezuela to indoctrinate Venezuelans with their failed political ideologies. Hugo Chávez is handing Venezuela over to Fidel Castro. This alone would be enough to take all legitimacy away from Hugo Chávez since he did not receive a mandate to handout vital components of our country to a totalitarian foreign state.

There is precedent and ample proof to bring this case before Venezuelan courts or an international body such as the O.A.S., The United Nations, or the International Court at The Hague.

Betting for Bono

Bono has a good chance to become the next Peace Nobel Prize, according to those fine analysts, the Irish bookies. Everyone knows that they predicted accurately any and everything from the pissing contest in town behind the pub to the election of the Pope, taking juicy cuts from the bets in between. So maybe they are right too about Bono.
In any case, this is the website of U2, his band, in case that you want to drop him a line and get his attention directed to the plights of the Cubans in the island. And if your write, don't forget to mention the balseros who are being screwed out of the deal of gaining their liberty by being returned to Cuba after their oddissey at sea. Who knows, maybe he blasts kagasstro while smoking a cigarrete and saying fuck a couple of times. Let's hope, it doesn't hurt us!

Andy Rooney said on "60 Minutes"
a few weeks back:

This was sent to me by my friend Carmen:
I think it is a PRECIOUS glimpse into the utter busllshit that has become "political correctness " in the USA. and from all people... ANDY ROONEY!

I don't think being a minority makes you a victim of anything except
numbers. The only things I can think of that are truly discriminatory are
things like the United Negro College Fund, Jet Magazine, Black
Entertainment Television, and Miss Black America. Try to have things like
the United Caucasian College Fund, Cloud Magazine, White Entertainment
Television, or Miss White America; and see what happens...Jesse Jackson
will be knocking down your door.

Guns do not make you a killer. I think killing makes you a killer. You can
kill someone with a baseball bat or a car, but no one is trying to ban you
from driving to the ball game.

I believe they are called the Boy Scouts for a reason, that is why there
are no girls allowed. Girls belong in the Girl Scouts! ARE YOU LISTENING
MARTHA BURKE?

I think that if you feel homosexuality is wrong, it is not a phobia, it is
an opinion.

I have the right "NOT" to be tolerant of others because they are different, weird, or tick me off.

When 70% of the people who get arrested are black, in cities where 70% of
the population is black, that is not racial profiling, it is the Law of
Probability.

I believe that if you are selling me a milkshake, a pack of cigarettes, a
newspaper or a hotel room, you must do it in English! As a matter of fact,
if you want to be an American citizen, you should have to speak English!

My father and grandfather didn't die in vain so you can leave the countries
you were born in to come over and disrespect ours.

I think the police should have every right to shoot your sorry ass if you
threaten them after they tell you to stop. If you can't understand the word
"freeze" or "stop" in English, see the above lines.

I don't think just because you were not born in this country, you are
qualified for any special loan programs, government sponsored bank loans or
tax breaks, etc., so you can open a hotel, coffee shop, trinket store, or
any other business.

We did not go to the aid of certain foreign countries and risk our lives in
wars to defend their freedoms, so that decades later they could come over
here and tell us our constitution is a living document; and open to their
interpretations.

I don't hate the rich. I don't pity the poor.

I know pro wrestling is fake, but so are movies and television. That
doesn't stop you from watching them.

I think Bill Gates has every right to keep every penny he made and continue
to make more. If it ticks you off, go and invent the next operating system
that's better, and put your name on the building.

It doesn't take a whole village to raise a child right, but it does take a
parent to stand up to the kid; and smack their little behinds when
necessary, and say "NO!"

I think tattoos and piercing are fine if you want them, but please don't
pretend they are a political statement. And, please, stay home until that
new lip ring heals. I don't want to look at your ugly infected mouth as you
serve me French fries!

I am sick of "Political Correctness." I know a lot of black people, and not
a single one of them was born in Africa; so how can they be
"African-Americans"? Besides, Africa is a continent. I don't go around
saying I am a European-American because my great, great, great, great,
great, great grandfather was from Europe. I am proud to be from America and
nowhere else

And if you don't like my point of view, tough...

Radio Ga Ga

El Mico Putumayo has followed the steps of his teacher and master, kagasstro, to the last detail, dot and trait. Now he's the DJ from hell. Venezuelan radio has gone Ga Ga and not with the silly Queen's tune.
This piece of news comes from the New York Times but if you are curious enough about it you have to look for it on your own because I don't link that communist rag on my blog.
In a move that is eerily reminding of what I lived through in that ersazt worker's paradise, c'est a dire, Cuba, el Mico Putumayo has banned American rock from the airwaves. That stupid singing clown has devised a system of quotas for each one of the traditional genres of Venezuelan music, and well, if you want to listen to the radio you will have a version of an aural rationing card giving you whatever he feels you like to listen and not what you will naturally pick for your pleasure.
A new meaning for the word Audioslave. By the way, not even with their gig in Cuba and their che huevera T's are they able to get a pass on the Venezuelan ether, under the rule of DJ Mico C.
Again, we should use kagasstro's frozen funds to establish rock stations that can be heard both in Cuba and Venezuela. The music will free the brains and ears of the youth of both countries from the whims of kagasstro and el Mico Putumayo. Nothing like good rock to transmit a sense of freedom. Ask everybody who has listened to good old Zeppelin. Or Jimi Hendrix or the newer acts. Nothing like good old rock to provide the youth with a great rebellious soundtrack to trash a tyrant!

How do you sleep at night?

I cannot help... I remembered one of my favourite songs ever, how do you sleep?
Everyone who reads me knows that I have music in my head at all times, and that some of this music gets really actual and factual when a situation triggers my musical memory. This particular song was written by a disappointed Lennon to a higher than thou McCartney.

And I updated it, because I am deeply disappointed at all who think that their fellow man in need is less than they are.

People seem to have forgotten that to love thy neighbour is one of the Ten Commandments. They seem to have forgotten that one should give to all of those who have less than we do, and that one cannot stand still while the oppressed is kicked around and murdered. I think that many people forgot that when they came to the States they came with nothing and they asked for nothing, but they had the understanding and the respect of others.

Well, why are the Cuban rafters that are coming today denied the understanding and the respect? They have my uttermost respect for risking it all to come in a nutshell of a boat to this country. They have the same right the people from the Mayflower and Ellis Island, and that the people from the Freedom Flights and El Mariel had before them to come to this country and be free!

To all of those to think that those poor Cubans don't belong in freedom, this is my message:
These men and women are coming to our doors, which they perceive as the Heaven Gates, searching the ligth of freedom, who are you to slam the door shut at them? Who are you to kick them back to hell? Why? Who are you to deny them the benefit of the chance that you once had?
When we chose this country to live, laugh, cry, work, suffer, love, and die for, we took the tenet "In God we trust" as ours. Can God trust who doesn't care for his brothers and sisters? Can God trust a hypocrite who is not willing to share and it's ready to judge? Who are you to say that they shouldn't be coming?
It is not too late. Open your heart, love your brother and sister, give them a hand.
Those balseros are the rowers in the boat at the feet of La Caridad del Cobre, the Cuban patron saint. Help them. Open the doors of this nation for them, as those doors were once open for you. Don't ignore their plea.

Now, if you agree with us that they deserve to live in freedom and dignity you're one of us.
If you don't agree with us, I ask you: How do you sleep?

So the rafters took you by
surprise
you better see right through that
mother's eyes
those freaks were right when they
said you were dead inside
no wonder you don't want to help
what's in your head
how do you sleep?
ah how do you sleep at night?
you believe the idiots who tell
you were king
jump when the radio tell
you anything
and you forget about yourself
t'was yesterday
when you came so another man's turn
just is another day
how do you sleep?
ah how do you sleep at night?
a pretty lie may last a year
or two
but pretty soon they'll see
the real you
how you don't wanna help'em
have their day
you must have learned
something all those years
how do you sleep?
ah how do you sleep at night?

So, you don't want them Cubans coming....

Oh, that's it.
So you don't want them Cubans coming. And you fear a mass exodus or whatever could happen in Miami, coming to a street near yours.
Have you thought of staging your own peaceful invasion of Cuba, let's say, in a good weekend 100 000 people arriving at the coasts of Cuba, disembarking and creating the kind of havoc that kagasstro fears, a reverse mass exodus of people landing on the island? Believe me, he cannot handle that. He do fears that.
Just imagine the following scenario: A large concentration of yatchs going to Cuba during any given weekend, and one takes whatever fits in the yatch. Presents, clothing, whatever. All of them stay on the streets of Havana all day, all night. They enter the bay, they disembark on the beaches. One hundred thousand people who have no fears, since they are American citizens, civilians that cannot be touched by kagasstro embracing the regular Cuban they find on the street. Get a good couple of rock bands on the gig, get as many Americans and Cuban Americans involved in the invasion as you can. And kagasstro is told, touch a hair of one of them and the marines are going to kick your old hairy ass into Guantanamo Bay.
That's the end of kagasstro. He after all fears that kind of mass exodus.
Do you want to do it?
Well, let's say that you don't want to do it.
Let's say that don't oppose the policy and you for your own reasons say: fuck them Cubans, that's their trouble. They you're a great egotistical prick. Are you really an American?
Do you want me to tell you about my dream?
Moses set the waters of the Florida Straits apart. They are red with the blood of the balseros, but people follow Moses out of Cuba.
Everybody leaves kagasstroland.
Then the sea gets agitated, recedes, and the waters rise only where kagasstro and his men are and drown all of them. They get swept away, screaming, and drowning. Their weapons are rendered useless by the forces of the sea, and the hand of God.
The sun rises for a very long day and stays up for much longer than usual.
And since you don't want the Cubans coming or going you are not part of this Biblical Kodak moment. It was your choice. What do you want me to tell you?

U.S. Crimes Against Humanity

To gaze idly at a crime is to commit it. Jose Marti

Knowing full well that KaSStro will not honor any agreement not to punish Cubans repatriated, that the Island is a communist Gulag hell, where right now dissidents suffer torture and death, six more have been sent back as fodder for the beast. Damn them.

6 Of 10 Cubans Stopped At Sea Returned

MIAMI -- Six of 10 Cubans whose capture was broadcast on television in Miami have been sent back to Cuba, officials said.

Federal officials said the other four Cubans were taken to Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, for possible entry into a third country.

The 10 were stopped by the U.S. Coast Guard last week off Haulover Beach.

Under U.S. policy, Cubans found at sea are usually returned, while those who reach U.S. shores are generally allowed to stay.

Some of those found at sea who demonstrate a credible fear of persecution are sent to Guantanamo.

Riding to freedom in a vintage taxi

Yeah, all those crumbling magnificent buildings in Havana are so cool.
And the sunsets!
Not to talk about the warmth and the smiles and the music.... Ah, and the vintage cars!
Nothing like riding one of those old taxi-cabs.... To freedom in the good ol' U.S. of A.!
After these Cubans arrive here on board of such displays of ingeniosity they should be granted a stay. Isn't their plight and exodus a strong enough reason? If not, their talents alone are reason powerful enough for us to want them here!

CBS - Communist Broadcast Service

Todays broadcast of CBS’s “60 Minutes” Bob Simon “interview” with Elian Gonzalez is the worst kind of exploitation. Using an indoctrinated child as a mouthpiece for a murdering dictator's propaganda. Advance excerpts mention how Elian thinks of kaSSTro as a friend. How he misses his relatives in Florida, even if they were awful to him. (I can’t wait for the blurb that blames the all powerful Cuban American Community and the evil U.S. embargo for not allowing visits with his Florida Uncles.)

Of course Mr. Simon won’t ask him any hard questions. For decades, CBS has worshiped at the bearded dictators feet and licked his putrid ass.

Someone should should ask the crew at CBS if they would let their children hang out with a dictator who is responsible for the deaths and imprisonment of hundres of thousands of his citizens, who has turned Kuba into a leading destination of choice for sex tourists, who tortures and starves his citizens. Who has created an island prison that is such a living hell that mothers put their children on rafts, risking their lives in the Straights of Florida in a desperate attempt for freedom. The waters are a graveyard for those who didn't make it, like Elians mother.

The first TV interview with Castro was by Robert Taber of CBS News, and on August 30, 1957 it was aired in a one-hour documentary, building up Castro as a national hero. Taber later became the executive secretary of the Fair Play for Cuba Committee, a Castro-funded group whose New Orleans chapter was headed by Lee Harvey Oswald, the assassin of President Kennedy.

Edward R. Murrow conducted an interview with Cuban Leader, Fidel Castro on February 6, 1959. CBS aired the interview with Castro which set the pattern for the "soft" approach that we have seen ever since. Murrow portrayed Castro in idealistic terms unmarred by any semblance of skepticism. He saw Fidel as a young revolutionary thirsting for freedom and democracy and as a family man. To sustain that image, Castro was shown throughout the entire program at "home" in his Havana Hilton suite wearing pajamas. Actually, Castro always wore fatigues during his waking hours, and he slept in a different place almost every night. Although he was separated from his wife and rarely saw his little son, Fidelito, the boy, holding a lovable puppy, was put on camera to bolster the image of Fidel, the family man.
Ed Murrow, the scourge of Sen. Joseph R. McCarthy, asked Castro only one serious question, "Are you concerned at all about Communist influence in Cuba?" Castro replied, "Oh, I'm not worried, because there is not threat about Communism here in Cuba."

In June 1977, Bill Moyers aired a special for CBS Reports called "The CIA's Secret Army," which was rebroadcast in February 1981 on his PBS program, "Bill Moyers Journal." It was an expose of alleged attempts by the U.S. to assassinate Castro. It included efforts by Cuban exiles to overthrow the dictator, going back to the Bay of Pigs invasion, with Watergate thrown in for good measure. Its intent appeared to be to smear the Cuban exiles.
The program included excerpts of an interview with Castro that cleared him of any blame for the conditions that have led a million people to flee Cuba. It exuded sympathy for Castro as a target of CIA machinations, but there was no sign of sympathy for Castro's victims. It was a propaganda bonanza.

CBS’s Dan Rather who holds the record for the most Kasstro interviews, led the media manipulated return of Elian to the dictator. In a carefully staged interview with Juan Miguel Gonzalez, Elian’s father, Rather played mouthpiece for Clinton, reading from the script provided by Clintons lawyer who was paid by donations from the Andreas family. Castro wanted Elian back, and Rather happily played his part in the disgraceful deceit that delivered the goods. Don’t doubt Rather’s intentions, he is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations, the Marxist propaganda cabal whose goal is a totalitarian Socialist world government in which our country would be submerged.

Walter Cronkite - In "A Reporter's Life, ''Cronkite prided himself for his hands-on approach to the anchor job, directing the program's news coverage and using his clout to land interviews with heads of state like Cuba's Fidel Castro and Egypt's Anwar Sadat, as well as a slew of American presidents.

Playboy asked Castro to respond to President Reagan's charge that he is a "ruthless military dictator." Castro, after claiming that he has fewer prerogatives than the pope, said: "I don't give orders," (but Reagan does). Who, then, is more of a dictator: the president of the United States or I?" Castro assured his questioners. "I play my role as a leader with a team." That is how he was characterized, in almost identical terms, by the Harvard expert, Jorge Dominguez, on the CBS Evening News on the 25th anniversary of the revolution.

Our media used to call Somoza a dictator, and they frequently apply the term to Chile's Pinochet, but Castro and other Communist dictators dictate even the terminology used by our media

The notion that Castro is not a Communist underneath it all, but is essentially a believer in a "unique brand of nationalism combined with communism," to use Rather's words, is fundamental to the deception that began with Herbert Matthews and The New York Times 48 years ago. The media's persistent refusal to label Castro truthfully and accurately stems from their ongoing romance with the idealistic young revolutionary that Matthews, and later Ed Murrow, thought they found. As long as that romance continues it is probably futile to expect future interviews or the forthcoming spate of books on Castro to expose the realities of Cuba's tragedy--the Castro dictatorship.

There are, of course, many Americans, including some in the news media, who have no romantic illusions about Fidel Castro and who could question him at least as sharply as the White House press corps questions any American president. But Castro, unlike such foreign targets of our media's scorn as Pinochet, does not permit just any journalist to enter his domain, much less interview him. One of the tasks of Cuban intelligence is to keep dossiers on foreign journalists and to evaluate their potential usefulness to Cuba. Those journalists who are invited to interview Castro may deem it an honor, but the real meaning of the invitation is that they are considered to be reliable or usable for purposes of transmitting the Cuban propaganda line.

The menace, Third World Style.

The USSR has been long dead.
The communist threat is alive and well, dwelling in the chaotic and lawless Third World, sans Pravda and Izvestia, but with the international liberal press at its service. Sans the Red Army to menace the world, but with terrorist gangs, narco-guerrillas, Al-Qaeda, machete wielding mobs in Africa, club wielding mobs in Cuba, and sleeper cells in the midst of the Western World ready to spring into action.
For the first time, the links between the internationals of communism and terror are so public, that even the skeptics are realizing that historically they are one and the same from naissance.
Take for example the visit of Robert Mugabe to see his old master and maestro, kagasstro. Coincidentally, he also rubbed asses with el Mico Putumayo chavez and his "agrarian reform" (which incidentally he learnt from kagasstro) is now being "sucessfully" applied in Venezuela and South Africa.
They need such reform in South America and South Africa. That's the only way the emergent rogue states can get ownership over traditionally private owned land. They need those expanses of terrain to cultivate and process drugs to poison the Western society according to the teachings of che huevera. Drug money is also used to finance and fuel terrorism. Also, it provides funds for undercover actions and investments in "front" companies in the First World.
They are also interested in altering the ethnic equillibrium as a tool of domination in Europe, Africa, and Latin America. Throngs of Muslims are silently invading non Muslim regions and reproducing at an enormous rate while leeching off the European welfare states, where one day they will become capable of taking over power by democratic means unchallenged. In Africa, it's the ages old intimidation, rape, and plunder technique to "settle down" and displace the natives through genocidal practices.
It's worst, more organized, and by far more dangerous in Latin America. The defeat of Nazism and the erasure of Communism brought two waves of stealth immigration to Latin America, that even though separated in time have guaranteed political and economical power to the anti American elements which have roamed freely in the region and which eventually have made themselves with power in key countries like Venezuela, Argentina and Brazil. These elements have found allies in the IRA and the ETA in Europe, and they have control over a net of guerillas in the Latin American area. Also, they have helped to set up -together with Iran, Saudi Arabia, and others-the biggest market of counterfeit and bootlegged goods in the triangle between Paraguay, Argentina, and Brazil. This pirate operation in broad daylight is the materialization of the dreams of Mengele, Hitler and kagasstro (who obtains most of his goods for the tourism trades by illegal means)Stalin and Lenin wouldn't be uncomfortable with the situation, either.
This illegal state -the border area is in reality a no man's land- funds international terror and cripples legal economy at the same time. Its monies fund the large lifestyles and laboratories of rogue scientists from a myriad of countries from the old Soviet Empire, the West and Asia, in addition to many unknowns who have settled in remote areas. What they do in their labs is no chewing gum, but they have all their equipment humming 24/7/365.
The enemy is at the gates. Its ethnic mix and the cultural-religious and linguistic make up is such that their informal armies can blend with any population in the world. They fight with terror and their intelligence gathering methods have been proved by kagasstro, the KGB, the Stassi, and many other services. The menace is right there, behind the backyard fence, and aided by the TV set in the living room and the newspaper that just landed in the porch. It is high time to take a look at this problem. And take swift action before it's too late.

They are ALL slowly dying.

Mora from Babalu has an excellent analysis on one of the seventy five dissidents jailed in Cuba who is slowly dying in a hunger strike.
In fact, he is not the only one starving to death in jail, there are at least three more men going down the same way. They are becoming symbols. Their deaths are going to be mentioned in the press, a little bit, but kagasstro has a system in place where he will use this as a propaganda tool in his favor.
The solution is not to go on a hunger strike, the whole country has been forced into a hunger strike by kagasstro himself. The solution is the removal of the regime, which cannot be accomplished internally, due to the existing conditions in the island.
Let just pretend for a second that the whole country of Cuba is only one man; kagasstro will let him die, that's the first scenario, to instill (even) more fear amongst the people who are fighting his regime on the ground with the small resources they have.
The second scenario would be dign of Macchiavelli: Save him at the last minute, to tell the world that you are a generous son of the bitch and that it's all the fault of the Americans stimulating this struggle for power when he has such a benevolent and paternalistic attitude towards the Cuban people (grip on the throat, maybe? or gun to the temple?)
Now, he has a third scenario in hand, just a page ripped from the "classics", his books of Hitler and Stalin; save the man at the last minute, have the world's liberals cheering for him and blasting the Empire for its meddling in Cuba, and then let the guy die with no ceremonies so he can make an example of that death, in such a way that it will circulate in the Cuban grapevine, and everybody will comment what happened in the kitchens of Havana (they would think that they are safe in the darkness of an apagon, but with very little to eat, so there's no energies to fight back)
This is the kind of grip on the population that the socialization of misery gives a tyrant. Everybody is paralized by fear. The ones that have no fear are trapped in a machinery that devours them. And there's nothing in between. Others, well, they are going to be force fed into that machinery. All that kagasstro has to do is to point a finger to the persons in question and his mobs will terminate those dissidents at the snap of his fingers.
That's a monster, I know that.
That's the monster with whom Cubans are dealing on a daily base, from whom they don't even have the resource of escaping. Imagine, one leaves that behind. Doesn't land in the States and it's a macabre Monopoly game once again, go back to square one, back to jail, don't collect any money, pay a fine in blood and flesh. And somebody will sleep in peace in the States not even thinking that another Cuban didn't make it.

They deserve to be free

Not good enough?
