A letter to Governor Blanco

Hon. Kathleen Babineaux Blanco
Governor of the State of Louisiana,
We bloggers are conducting several efforts in order to raise funds to help the people of your state, among other victims of Hurricane Katrina, to rebuild their lives. Even the most modest help is welcome and we are happy to tell you that we are reaching the most remote corners of the country and abroad with our message. We have an amazing response, which is beneficial for all the victims of this tragedy.
Now Ms. Blanco, where's the dictator next door, the one with whom you were trying to ingratiate a few months ago, the one with the promises and the "charm"?
As far as I know, not a single word of support has come from such a tyrant, who is having a field day plotting his next political move at the expense of the suffering of the people of Louisiana.
The response to this tragedy will let you know who are the real friends of the American people. The bearded tyrant is not one of them, he has never been and never will be. He loves the American people as much as he loves the Cuban people, c'est a dire, not at all.
The people of your state are in our prayers, and we wish that the relief effort help them to cope with the tragedy of human loss and destruction, we are sure that New Orleans is going to be reborn as a Phoenix.
Sincerely
Ziva, Charlie Bravo & KillCastro.

Horror in New Orleans

Please help the victims of Katrina.
Donate.
Volunteer.
Feed.
Pray.
Keep the morals high.
Lend a hand to a fellow human being.
Reconstruct the lost and damaged jewels of New Orleans and all the historic places affected by the hurricane.

UPDATE:
To this moment, we haven't heard a word of support coming from the liberal left. Not a single word for the do-gooders of Live Aid, Hollywood, etc... Much less a word from kagasstro, who was luring Louisiana goverment officials a month ago into selling him whatever they had at an advantageous price -for him!

Traitors beware

War times bring strange things to your mind...
I was researching the laws that are the books to punish the traitors that from a so called intellectual tribune attack this country while we are at war. Let's take into account that while these people engage in a discourse that is favorable to the enemy there are many men and women dying in the Middle East so the terrorists they fight there cannot make it to our shores and borders. That way, all the pseudo academics and intellectuals can keep their freedom to spit on the fallen soldiers coffins, insult their families, and, ultimately, burn the American flag that covers those caskets. All of that under the protection of the same American flag they so much hate and wish to burn.
I was looking for famous figures that were indicted during recent conflicts for rooting for the enemy and serving as propaganda tools, and I found a great American poet among them, somebody that is still widely studied in the educational system of this country that he hated so much: Ezra Pound.
Pound moved to Italy and was friends with Mussolini while we had men and women dying for the freedom of the world. He participated in anti-American radio broadcasts from Rome, wrote pamphlets, and worked in the propaganda machine for the enemy camp and called for the defeat of America in World War II.
Ezra Pound was actually captured by the partisans, who turned him to the American troops in Italy, who kept him in a camp for some time before bringing him to the USA to be tried as a traitor. He was sentenced to twelve years in an asylum for the criminally insane. Upon his release he moved back to Italy, where he resumed his writing career.
The interesting thing is that Pound was a full fledge fascist, and even then, the left quickly embraced him both here and Europe as a victim of the American military.
So, as a reminder for all traitors (potential and in active duty) I decided to publish the mug shot of Ezra Pound after his capture. No much different than Saddam, the same cowardly look in his eyes.

Pound's "oeuvre" sounds very familiar. You can change the name and instead you can put for example Hanoi Jane, whose romps in the midst of the VietCong are a separate chapter in the book of infamy. Lately, one has Sean Penn, who went to Iraq (well, he stopped short of moving there) and took newspaper pages to root for his idol Saddam Hussein and to this day hasn't stopped his message of hate against the troops in the front. There are many others, the list is long and well populated with celebrities, who engange in that same behavior in these days.
In 1970, the law was applied and the authorities bagged Jane "Hanoi" Fonda.

There's hope that soon those laws are applied again!
The government needs to be really inclusive and non discriminatory in the application of these laws, for example, root against us and you're netted. Root for kagastro and ernie the clown guevara, sworn enemies of this country and it will be a sure shot ticket to ride to prison, as much as if you advocate for nazism or the KKK.

Katrina Hurricane Relief

The devastation from this massive hurricane is terrible, and as relief workers make their way into the stricken areas I fear the news is going to get a lot worse. Donations are desperately needed. The ALA - Books, Bonfires, and Coverups

From the ALA Mission Statement

ALA will promote the protection of library materials, personnel, and trustees from censorship; the defense of library personnel and trustees in support of intellectual freedom and the Library Bill of Rights; and the education of library personnel, trustees, and the general public to the importance of intellectual freedom.

The Association advocates funding and policies that support libraries as great democratic institutions, serving people of every age, income level, location, ethnicity, or physical ability, and providing the full range of information resources needed to live, learn, govern, and work.

Intellectual freedom is a basic right in a democratic society and a core value of the library profession. The American Library Association actively defends the right of library users to read, seek information, and speak freely as guaranteed by the First Amendment

Then how do you explain this:

The ALA calls for the withdrawal from Iraq of all U.S. military forces, and the return of full sovereignty to the people of Iraq;

At the American Library Association (ALA) 2005 Annual Conference in Chicago, June 23-29, the ALA Council adopted a resolution on the connection between the Iraq War and libraries. ALA CD#62 states that: “ many of Iraq's cultural treasures, including libraries, archives, manuscripts, and artifacts, have been destroyed, lost, or stolen” and “ even a small fraction of these resources [spent on the war] would be more than sufficient for rebuilding and greatly enhancing the libraries and educational institutions of both Iraq and the U.S.”

Not one word about Saddam Hussein and his atrocities, or the fact that those libraries held only books not censored by the repressive dictator. Not a word. Read the resolution Here

And then there is this:

"The LA also supports IFLA in its call for the elimination of the U.S. embargo that restricts access to information in Cuba and for lifting travel restrictions that limit professional exchanges. ALA also supports IFLA's call for the U.S. government to share information widely in Cuba."

Yes that’s right folks, it’s the embargo that restricts Cubans access to information. That’s why there is not enough food or electricity, that’s why tens of thousands have died in the waters of the Florida Straights seeking freedom in America.

So, let’s lift those restrictions and send more books to kuba, after all fidel needs them. He uses them to build bonfires. The ALA isn’t talking about that either. In fact there is evidence that the ALA has attempted to cover up bookburning and the repression of librarians in Cuba.

The Friends of Cuban Libraries are talking about it and they have an excellent website with information and links.

Please visit them Here

Author Carlos N. M. Eire wrote a public letter in which he urged the ALA "to openly and unconditionally censure the repression of human rights in Cuba and to do so immediately and in the strongest possible terms."

He asked "how can the ALA mount a successful campaign in the United States to protest the Patriot Act when it refuses to condemn one of the most flagrant violations of its own principles a mere ninety miles from American shores?"

War posters

I found the photograph on which I based this illustration in a website of the Department of Defense, while scouting for images for the war poster series that some of you have asked me for. The caption says it all, for what I reproduce it here:
"Director of Medical Services for Task Force Victory Lt. Col. Stephen Jones examines the chest of a young Afghan boy during a Cooperative Medical Assistance operation conducted by U.S. Army medical and veterinary personnel in Deh Afghana, Afghanistan, on Sept. 27, 2004. The medical and veterinary personnel are soldiers assigned to Task Force Victory while deployed to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. DoD photo by Spc. Jerry T. Combes, U.S. Army. (Released)"
My first thought was, "that's how you win the war, winning the civilians hearts..." the second thought was "and ripping the hearts of the tyrants off their chests!"
The image is so beautiful that I didn't do much but to work it graphically a little bit and besides that, the only other thing was to add the caption.
Of course, to see this you have to visit us, because the mainstream media will rather burn their printing plants than publishing such a photo.

Catch and Release Program

The US Navy today announced that it has released a senior Al-Qaeda terrorist after questioning him extensively for 27 days while being held prisoner aboard a US aircraft carrier in the Arabian Sea.

In a humanitarian gesture, the terrorist was given $50 US and a white 1962 Ford Fairlane automobile upon being released from custody.

The attached photo shows the terrorist on his way home just after being released by the Navy.

(hat tip to my good friend EG)

More on rotten fish stench

I heard that el mico putumayo chavez is also yearning to come visit NYC holding the hand of our most reviled creature, kagastro.

I also heard that they plan to enjoy the selected company of a bunch of "heads of state" from countries that are far from being our allies and that actually are a political and military block against us, as demonstrated by this figures on their votes in the United Nations, look at these voting records of various Arabic/Islamic States which are recorded in both the US State Department and United Nations

Kuwait votes against the United States 67% of the time
Qatar votes against the United States 67% of the time
Morocco votes against the United States 70% of the time
United Arab Emirates votes against the U. S. 70% of the time.
Jordan votes against the United States 71% of the time.
Tunisia votes against the United States 71% of the time.
Saudi Arabia votes against the United States 73% of the time.
Yemen votes against the United States 74% of the time.
Algeria votes against the United States 74% of the time.
Oman votes against the United States 74% of the time.
Sudan votes against the United States 75% of the time.
Pakistan votes against the United States 75% of the time.
Libya votes against the United States 76% of the time.
Egypt votes against the United States 79% of the time.
Lebanon votes against the United States 80% of the time.
India votes against the United States 81% of the time.
Syria votes against the United States 84% of the time.
Mauritania votes against the United States 87% of the time.

U S Foreign Aid to those that hate us:
Egypt, for example, after voting 79% of the time against the United States, still receives $2 billion annually in US Foreign Aid.
Jordan votes 71% against the United States and receives $192,814,000 annually in US Foreign Aid.
Pakistan votes 75% against the United States and receives $6,721,000 annually in US Foreign Aid.
India votes 81% against the United States and receives $143,699,000 annually in US Foreign Aid.

(We certainly have better use for our tax dollars, think about it and let the politicos know about how you feel!)

Besides these facts and figures, it's interesting to know that some of this countries, like India and Pakistan have ready to use nukes. Iran is about to have them ready, too. Then take a look at which ones of the countries in that list produce oil. Many, don't they? And take a look at the latest stunt by el mico putumayo who is very glad that hurricane Katrina is wreaking havoc in the Gulf of Mexico and New Orleans and who has worked really hard to imposse a record high price for the oil market, $70 a barrel. He is benefiting of our tragedies, like a true enemy.

Add to this mix the military excercises conducted in India, and what I call the Dragon and Bear dance, the war games coreographed by China and Russia in the Pacific theatre. If this doesn't sound to you as a rehearsal of an AntiAmerican war strike, well, you have a problem. We should be constantly reminded that a Chinese general threated to nuke us if we back Taiwan. According to the Chinese classic, the Art of War by Sun Tzu, we should be striking first.

So, because we haven't disolved that discredited parasit organism, the UN, we are going to be forced to share our precious breathing air here in NYC with the so called heads of states from a bunch of enemy countries who are going to be holding what I would call a terrorist conclave in our own living room. Let's just kick'em out of here and let them find a new host for their house of shame.

Who knows, maybe we should catch more than one in a wave of citizens' arrests on the very same tarmac of the JFK airport.

An unwanted visitor.

It's said that visitors are like fish, they stink after three days.
But for that you have always my favorite fishwrap of the town, the New York Times...
We have a special and potential visitor this fall to the City of New York, which contrary to popular believe it's not the city that never sleeps, it's the city that has been asleep with regards to kagasstro. Yes, that's the criminal that plans to stomp on the streets of a city that I call a symbol and home.
He plans to come here invited by the United Nations, the same United Nations that in violation of its own principles calls him president and allows him to participate in all sort of committeess, commisions and secretariats disregarding the fact that he is the biggest human right violator of modern times. The UN also ignores deliberately that kagasstro is the biggest terrorist in the world besides Osama Bin Laden and that he has been an ally of every terrorist regime in place.
First, I would be surprised if President Bush allows kagasstro to come to our country under his watch. And I hope that if he does permit that the supreme slimeball lands in this city it is just because it's a trap to catch him and to drag him into a maximum security jail. That way he would pay for the crimes against Humanity, the USA, and his own people and finally Cuba will be free and the USA will be a safer place destroying the most important part of the New International of Terror, in it's Caribbean and South American Chapter.
If the President allows for kagasstro and other terror mongers to come here and roam free. The pimp in chief will be visiting in the midst of the Fifth Column of subservient whores, communists, and local terror enablers that always wait for him so eagerly, and then we will be in big trouble.
We then would have to rely on Mayor Bloomberg the same that we had to rely on our former Mayor Rudy Giuliani who put kagasstro and arafat righ on the sidewalk when he didn't receive them, calling them by their given name of criminals.... that didn't sit very well with Clinton and the Demo Rats, but that's tough.
I have a simple solution in the case that the goverment doesn't exhibit the right behaviour, and instead of non issuing a visa to kagasstro allows him in. First, the goverment would have to explain how's that a convicted criminal in the States according to American law can come and go freely when he is responsible for the loss of live of American citizens, the production of biochemical weapons and the implementation of a conspiracy in South America and Iran with the objective of destroying the USA, besides stealing American properties and resources in Cuba, and many other international crimes with American victims, such as terrorism and drug dealing.
As and example, let's quote kagasstro's own words in Iran: "together we can put America on her knees". Following that statement he went on to visit biochemical facilities and nuclear reactors and signed cooperation agreements on those fields with a nation that has sworn to destroy this country.
Another part of the explaination would have to deal on how is that Cuban musicians and Cubans who want to visit their relatives in the USA are not allowed in and kagasstro is. Are they more dangerous to this nation?
Clinton never explain it, but I think that Bush has to be consistent with his philosophy and grateful to his electorate.
Having said all of that, my solution would be this: to call for a citizen's arrest on fidel kagasstro as is allowed under the laws of this country. There is enough evidence to take kagasstro to a military court for acts of war against this country and if the government doesn't move to arrest him, then it will be the turn of the citizens to do so and to administer justice.
Let's remind the New Yorkers that kagasstro was a crucial ally of Saddam Hussein, Arafat, Khadaffi, and that there's evidence pointing to certain instances of collaboration in intelligence terms with the Islamofascist terrorists that operate internationally. Let's remind the veterans that kagasstro was a the main supporter of the VietCong and their States side collaborators during the VietNam war era, and let's remind the New Yorkers that kagasstro vowed to destroy their city and actually planned to bomb it with both nuclear devices and terrorist action way before Osama bin Laden's times. Let's not forget all of that, and let's not make the pass of time forgiving.
Let's be Biblical and apply the principle of eye by eye, tooth by tooth and burnt by burnt. Let's get rid of him if he comes here. Let's catch him if the goverment doesn't do the job we elected them to do, which is to defend this land against its enemies. Let's hope that the goverment takes a proactive stance and does away with a terror kingpin if he dares to plant the sole of his bloody booths in this sacred land.
And let's remind the left that this is in fact a sacred land that is not for sale to a murderous dictator no matter how many agents of the enemy are planted here trying to influence the public opinion. Let's steel our resolve and defend this country against such a sworn enemy because surrender is not only un-American, but also anti-American.

Capitulate. It is good for your soul (it WILL fuck up your life span tho)

This is a little item that no god damn pacifist, apologist, pro-Islamic, hippie, “let’s be nice t the enemy and they will go away" motherfucker will ever even acknowledge. In fact it is buried on page 34 of the rather un-biased NY Daily News.

The byline reads:
“HAMAS BIG VOWS END TO ISRAEL”
What brings this promise of total annihilation to Israel ? What recent action of the Jewish nation can POSSIBLE prompt the Islamic hyenas to re-iterate their holocaustic goal.
Well, nothing more and nothing less that .. The Israel pullout of Gaza.
(Another uh? What? Wait a second here… moment is allowed)

A head prick on the HAMAS organization ( Mohamed Deif) just released a video, describing the withdrawal as “a victory for militant resistance”, accuses the Israel government of cowardice and vows to “continue to attack Israel until it is erased from the map”

Yes siree bob , let us NOT stoop down to their level, cause it makes us just like THEM.

Let’s lift sanction against KaSStro, let’s show our good will and eagerness for peace. Let us do that by capitulation.. and keep our fingers crossed (and up our asses)

To anyone who the futility of dialog or compromise with these animals has not yet pierced their skulls like a hot spike through Margarine. READ THIS SHIT!.

Bathe in its entire splendor; savor the incongruity of it all.

You strech your hand in peace and the pricks cut it of and beat you to death with it. Oh , yeah I am sure NOT all Muslims feel this way. To that I say ... FUCK YOU!

Israel withdraws and they get a threat of destruction shoved up their asses.
And I tell you, now with renewed vigor, because in these sick twisted motherfuckers minds , Israel is “scared”

I must admit I don’t follow Israel politics all that much; I am PRO Israel and Pro Jewish for a few very simple reasons. I feel they have gotten a really raw deal through history, I think the have steel belted COJONES and they don’t put up with any nonsense. I think they have managed to pull the most unbelievable racial and religious trick in History with the foundation and growth of Israel.

The Gaza thing threw me aback for a bit, but you know what? I AM glad Israel did it (it was a mistake, but I am glad they did it) cause it lets people like ME point at this and rub it all over the faces of the assholes who feels that we must always be the ones to take the peaceful step.

Yes, let us get out of Iraq, and build “International Freedom Centers”, let’s swap saliva with KaSStro, forgive and forget. Let us smoke the peace pipe and we all be happy campers.
Then one day you will wake up with the peace pipe solidly wedged down your esophagus wondering why your race your religion and your way of life went the way of the dinosaur.

Peaceniks of the world .. GO FUCK YOURSELVES!

Worms in The Apple

In the upcoming weeks while Americans remember 9/11 and mourn the death of 3000 innocent victims, the UN is convening the 2005 World Summit with 170 Heads of State and Government attending the festivities. Some of these leaders are heads of states sponsoring terrorism, including the 9/11 attack on the United States.

kaSStro is likely to be one of them. It is well known that the island beast actively supports terrorism world wide, including Al Quaeda. The last time he visited New York he was feted at parties by his worshiping communist minions. He was celebrated by the Rockefellers, fawned over by the likes of Barbara Walters, Diane Sawyer, Peter Jennings (may he not rest in peace), Mike Wallace and others. He enjoyed a hand shake from President Clinton. Harlem's Abyssinian Baptist Church honored his visit. Among others in attendance there were U.S. Reps. Nydia M. Velazquez, Charles Rangel and Jose Serrano - all New York Democrats. He was cheered and applauded by the roaring Harlem crowd. They chanted, "Fidel, Fidel, Viva Cuba, Viva Cuba!" He was warmly bear-hugged by Rep. Rangel and told by the presiding church minister that he was one of the greatest leaders of the world and that they joined him in opposing the U.S. blockade. Then the noted cleric consecrated Castro: "God bless you," he said, ignoring the fact that Castro is an atheist and Cuba officially is an atheist state where the faithful are persecuted.

There's a knot in my stomach as I contemplate this year’s possible visit. Will he desecrate Ground Zero with his presence there? Will the party faithful gather to celebrate his presence? How blatantly anti-American and low will these whores and pimps stoop in promoting their agenda? Does anyone care? Stay tuned.

Porno para Ricardo

It's well known that I like rock, and that I like Cuban rock since the days of its birth... well boys and gals, this is a sample. Get ready for this. America is ready for Porno para Ricardo, a great rock band, with a great sound. They have a great in your face website. As you will notice, they are in the blog roll, as well as Cuba Underground. This page offers you a view into the renegade side of the art world inside Cuba, and a taste of their utter defiance towards the regime. I bet you anything that they are not the darlings of the Pastors for Piss and other lefties that find Cuba so quaint and charming.
By the way, Gorki, the front man and ax grinder for Porno para Ricardo was the inspiration for the movie Habana Blues, by the Spanish director Benito Zambrano. The visuals and the music are great....
Enjoy!

True reporting.

Take a look at the incredible world -and word and work! of fellow blogger Michael Yon from the heat of the Iraqi battlefields.

A friendly reminder: freedom is not free

I published this image in an old post (Piss'em off, what the hell -july 2005) and it comes right out handy to denounce the invertebrate nature of the slimes from the left who are hijacking this nation. Read the stone inscription carefully. There's no mention of the terrors attack. Nothing. It's a totally sanitized, politically correct inscription, it doesn't even say that we have the duty to avenge them and destroy their killers forever. Can you imagine a WWII memorial with no poignant condemnation of Nazism and its allied ideologies?
Now, look at the date of the stone: July 4th, 2004. By that time, our soldiers were already fighting for our future in Afghanistan and Iraq, there's nothing on this stone about their sacrifice. Why? Because apparently the war is not against terrorism or about the survival of our very superior civilization.
If this stone is not a plain demonstration of the power the traitors hold in NYC, then I don't know... I should also mention that the same peaceniks and lefties blocked the change of the law so Rudolph Giuliani couldn't be mayor for a third time.
And now this, they want to build a "freedom center" for you to go and apologize for being an American. Sorry, I don't apologize for having the required size of cojones to be an American.
And this is a jewel: those libzillas even the Statue of Liberty is politically incorrect!
My sweet reminder for all of those who fail to see it: The USA are THE HOPE & FREEDOM MATERIALIZED that many in this world yearn for and that at the same time many wish to destroy. Our enemies are also here, in every strata of power, in the press, and infiltrating every single institution, fulfilling their communist mission of brainwashing the youth. The International Freedom Center is actually the front for the new international of communism and its armed branch of terror. Those guys worship ernie the clown guevara and kagasstro, the same ones who asked Nikita Kruschev to crush the States with nuclear missiles, so what do we expect?
It is time -high time- to fight back and rebuild a proud red, white, and blue patriotic country.

This is why I don't own a gun!

We have a piece of land in downtown Manhattan.
Part of that land contains pulverized blood, bone & flesh of 3,000 people who one beautiful September morning began their work day and never returned home.
If you take a handful of that soil in your hand, chances are you are holding someone's brother, wife, sister or mother.
That soil is sanctified with the blood of the innocent.
That soil is sacred and it lies within OUR United States of America. This is OUR pain. “Americans” died there, because those who were not born in this great country chose this country as their own.

Ground Zero will always be a vivid reminder of what evil can accomplish when it is unleashed on the innocent.

For some astonishing reason our pain has been hijacked and we are debating the fate of that sacred ground.

Something called the “International Freedom Center” has been allowed to build a “monument" on Ground Zero to commemorate fight for Human Rights across the globe and throughout history. Noble cause.!

Now, with that said I want the IFC association to GET THE FUCK OUT OF MY CITY!

In this expose by The NY Daily News you will get to judge the depth of insulting arrogance the Liberal Left has unleashed on us:
http://www.nydailynews.com/front/story/339258p-289735c.html you will see an agenda that reads not ONLY like we HAD IT COMING but points out that we (Americans) should not make the monuments in Ground Zero about America! (Yeah I know.! uh ? what , say again?).

That doing this will just bring more ill will towards the USA and that we will just be asking for deeper hatred.

This “monument” they say should be about “the world”, meekly accept the USA is just ONE nation amongst many.

In other words “Don’t take 3000 people dead, a city in ruins an economic chaos “personally” . Embrace the world.
Ask forgiveness.
MINGLE, blend in. Have a Kodak moment with the world and they will leave you alone.

Well FUCK YOU ALL. FUCK YOU ALL SO HARD YOU WILL HEMORRHAGE THROUGH YOUR EARS!

You disgusting motherfuckers. You spineless pricks.!

Great thing the founding fathers didn’t take that view of the world uh , ya cunts?

Why don’t we build a HUGE Mosque?. You want to insult us? Then let's go full-tilt-boogie.

After governor Pataki blasted IFC, the spineless motherfuckers had the audacity to issue a statement that they will “NEVER BLAME AMERICA”

Blame America for what, you pricks? For accepting those of us who where left without a country? For providing work to people who can not get enough to eat because they live under an irresponsible & corrupt government?. Blame the USA, for allowing my neighbor Mr. Hong to own his own dry cleaning store. “Blame us FOR what?” WWII? Perl Harbor? Blame us for defending our right and come out in defense of those who are powerless to defend themselves. ?

How are associations like this in our midst, and why do we give them a platform?
Someone PLEASE, help me out with this!

This piece of pabulum was posted on the IFC website – (Barf bag at hand please)

it(IFC) had "drawn inspiration" and received "important practical advice" from the International Coalition of Historic Site Museums of Conscience.
"We have many, many advisers who have given us lots of advice," Richard Tofel, Freedom Center president, said last week. "Some of it we've taken and some of it we haven't - that's the nature of advice."

300o thousand dead people are not inspirational enough? we need to go to the fucking “International Coalition of Historic Site Museums of Conscience” to tell us HOW we should honor the victims of this massacre ?

We have gone fucking insane!. Even considering that a spineless piece of left wing contribution whorehouse like IFC is having anything to say about how we honor American victims in American ground is beyond insulting. It is treacherous, obscene, it unashamedly dismisses our pain and in typical liberal fashion tells us; "We KNOW what is best for you"

Well IFC , what is best for YOU is not to give up the rights to live in this country that allows scum like you to make a living on $500 a plate dinner galas and then pompously , petulantly and arrogantly dictate how we should mourn our dead.

And now a personal message to Mr. Richard Tofel:
Mr. Tofel, I wish you the most horrendous and painful death a man can experience. I wish that pestilence, shame and scorn befall your family. I wish that for whatever time you have left on this good earth you will live in eternal HELL and that the souls of 3000 INNOCENT men and women who never returned home on that Sept 11 2001 hunt your putrid life for ever.

Now GO FUCK YOURSELF!

Red Cross

Maybe they were refering to the red cross one sees in the cross-hairs!
Somehow, considering the fact that they can cross enemy lines at will, and that they have privileged access to prisoners, plus the flurry of accusations that we routinely receive from them, made me think that these guys were a bunch of traitors. Now I know that they are not traitors. They are with the other side, they are the enemy!

Cyber-spies

"The FBI and the Pentagon are investigating whether Chinese spies have been hacking into U.S. government computer systems, U.S. officials said Thursday."
I would suggest they also look at what the G2 boys are doing down in Cuba. They have been busy at cyber espionage for a long time, and they have facilities devoted solely to this task. But still, the Pastors for Piss are struggling to be able to carry computers to Cuba... We have talked a lot about this fact at this blog, and we certainly hope that there are people looking in that direction.
There's no internet access for regular folks. Computers are being shipped to Cuba by a pro-communist front organization. Put those two sentences together and try not to suspect anything. I tried and I couldn't! Oh, and I didn't mention that Cuba and China have very close military and intelligence ties.... That's elemental, Watson!

Father Knows Best

A long time ago, my Father, who served in the Navy during WWII, told me to never give anything to the Red Cross. He said they charged some wounded servicemen for blood, and that they were traitors. I haven't thought about that for a long time, until this:

ROME - Italy's Red Cross treated four Iraqi insurgents with the knowledge of the Italian government last year and hid them from U.S. forces in exchange for the freedom of two kidnapped aid workers, a top Italian Red Cross official said in an interview published Thursday.

I am very pleased to let you know that we have been read in every continent with the exception of the Antartica.
Maybe it's time for all those scientists in the frozen statations down there to turn off the CNN and drop the New York Times and turn to blogs. I mean, the good ones!
Thanks again to all the readers in every corner of the world!

Shame

It's a shame that 31 freedom seekers died in the sea while trying to reach the States.
There's a lot of illegal in the executive order "dry feet wet feet". First of all, it actually abandons the concept of territorial waters being part of the States, since if your boat is 10 yards away from the shore you still have "wet feet".
Those two, klinton and kagasstro tampered with the interpretation of laws to comfort one another and to do favors to one another. The infamous Cohiba in the Oval Office romp had to be justified. Now, the present goverment has to do something about this or it will go down in history with the dubious mark of turning a blind eye to a policy that is resulting in an enormous amount of death, repression, and ultimately in empowerment for a tyrant.
Technically, since the American territorial waters extend for 200 miles, once you go to the beach in Cuba you are in the States. Given that Cuban territorial waters extend for only 12 miles, so just after that you are not in international waters, you are in American waters and therefore you should be protected by American law.
My plan goes like this: declare all Cubans American citizens, with the exception of anyone that is a member of the communist party. Like all Germans were technically citizens of the Federal Republic of Germany and like all Jews are technically citizens of Israel. That protection will ensure the end of the tyrany by (forcibly) peaceful means, because it will be illegal for kagasstro to repress, murder, and jail American citizens. It will constitute an act of war (and he fears the American forces like a vampire fears the cross and the garlic), and he is just a balloon of hot air and he will not touch a hair of an American citizen because he has seen how the going got tough in Iraq and Satan Hussein ended up in the can. In that case, he will flee to either Brazil, Venezuela, or Argentina, like many Nazis did in the past. It would be just a matter or hunting him or of letting him die powerless and in the run like a worthless rat (personally, I want to see him responding for his abuses)
Cubans are probably the only pro-Americans in the hemisphere, so we should keep the balance as is. We need not forget that kagasstro is a sworn enemy of the States and that a free Cuba is just part of a bigger scope, it's part of a more secure world and a safer USA, without a stronger and safer USA a free Cuba will not be able to exist, and part of our safety here is a free Cuba, this is a two way situation where the two conditions cannot exist without one another.
It will just take a signature to derogate the wet feet dry feet order. I would buy a special pen and hand deliver it to the White House. Please join me!

Coming soon to a CITGO station near you....

Give them enough rope….. The PUTUMAYO hangs himself!

Our buddy Eduardo sent us this beautiful bit of information
http://www.durhamfoodcoop.org/node/54

After you read this shit (Please DO READ it. Slowly and in detail it is worth it!)
We find out that CITGO gas stations are owned by.. ta-da – VENEZUELA (Nationalization anyone?)

So, the recent Chavez offer to provide cheap gasoline to poor Americans is in fact a VERY doable deed, if he really wanted to do it and it wasn’t just another demagoguery fart.

Let’s say all CITGO gas station prices are 50% lower that the rest of the “dirty capitalist” gas stations, which are ALL apparently part of some BUSH conspiracy ! Now, how he is going to tell the POOR Americans from the non-poor Americans? Well *THAT* will leave to the motherfucking PUTUMAYO to figure out. I guess it is gonna be tough since what POOR person drives a car! (OH what a tangled web we weave when we speaketh through our ass)

So, going back to this “article” from “Durham the Co-op Grocery” and Communist fuck enabler. (Note to the FBI – THE MOTHERFUCKERS PHONE NUMBER AND ADDRESS IS ON THE PAGE ... GO DO SOME WORK!)

“Instead of using government to help the rich and
the corporate, as Bush does, Chavez is using the
resources and oil revenue of his government to
help the poor in Venezuela. A country with so
much oil wealth shouldn’t have 60 percent of its
people living in poverty, earning less than $2 per
day. With a mass movement behind him, Chavez is
confronting poverty in Venezuela.”

This is written in July 26 2005 (hmm, July 26?)) So 60% of Venezuela’s people live in poverty . I guess the prick who wrote this hasn’t realized that Chavez has been in power since 1998 , so apparently he has been too busy sucking KaSStro's dick for 7 years to do anything about the poor Venezuelans, BUT wants to help poor Americans.

It is a priceless study in absurd communist bullshit, ‘cause it can not even be called propaganda. This is 3rd grade logic accompanied by PhD class evil intentions.

A matter of semantics

So, calling for wiping away that pathetic putumayo in South America is "incitation to terrorism" as it is calling for blasting kagasstro's ass to smithereens. Not in my book folks.... In my book, calling for the destruction of tyrants and plagues is just the moral thing to do. Didn't we call for the physical elimination of Hitler? Didn't we -in recent times- call for the physical elimination of Osama Bin Laden and Mullah Omar? Semantics, the thwarted semantics proposed by the New York Times manual of style. This is as bad just as calling the terrorists in Iraq "insurgents" and fidel kagasstro "Cuban president".
So don't tell me anything about an evangelical fatwa from Pat Roberson, folks.... The real fatwa has been issued against us, and it's been carried on everyday for the last three decades.
Now, look at the real picture: chavez and kagasstro are amassing a formidable force composed of both their regular armed forces plus an ample cadre of international terrorists from the renegades left from the old soviet empire, the heirs of the Nazis that hid in South America, the legacy of the guevara-castroist terror guerrillas and their narco(leptic) modern day followers, operatives of Al-Qaeda (in South America, there's the highest number of Al-Qaeda operatives outside the Middle East) and finally, elements of common street gangs that have been armed and trained in irregular warfare by kagasstro. These are former members of the Sandinista guerrillas in Nicaragua and the communist guerrillas in Salvador, Guatemala, Mexico and Honduras, plus people from ETA and IRA which gives you a big ethnic edge, since their terror force is composed of people of virtually every ethnicity and who speak in a myriad of languages and who dominate a wide spectrum of operative techniques, terror expertise, and who are financially sound and independent.
Add to this danger the fact that our Southern Border has more holes than a Swiss cheese from your favorite deli. They are staging a silent invasion of this country to fight us from within, all with the complicity of the left, Amnesty International, the "peaceniks" and the mainstream media. The number of these terror operatives that are able and capable of crossing our borders and infiltrate in the country under the guise of "illegal immigrants" is unknown. Don't forget that the same activists who assist human smuglers all over the border -and who by the same token want Cubans returned to the cagastro terror theme park- are also opposed to the war on terror and are very effective at raising funds and propagandizing in favor of the terrorists held in Guantanamo Bay.
To all of that, add the Iraqi and Afghan wars and our politically correct strategy for fighting them, which is totally wrong. Wars are not meant to be TV rated, they are not family entertainment by anychance. We are forgetting that in these times of reality TV. War is a messy affair to be kept out of the screen and I certainly feel that the right thing to do is to fight it with the necessary force to win it. A guy who doesn't belong to a formal army and wears an uniform while engaging in combat is just a terrorist. Nothing is owed to him. The minute armed men position themselves inside a mosque or any other holy site, the holiness is automatically lost and the building becomes a target.
If we do away with the kingpings of terror in our own backyard, we will be guaranteeing the continuity of this great nation in time. There's nothing wrong with defending this nation and with defending our culture and civilization. I don't believe in apologizing for fighting for our principles. And I will hate to have to apologize to the younger generation for having lost this war for fear of upseting the politically correct know-it-alls from the left and the media and their international friends. The hell with them.

Scorn them...

Have a laugh, but let's not forget that these two terrorists are the danger in the backyard.

Dirty Deals

This, Gov. Heineman, is what your trade deal with Kuba supports. Not political you say? Nebraska's beans will be sold at state stores at prices the average citizen cannot afford, and attempts at free enterprise get you a visit by The National Revolutionary Police. How is that not political? That money headed for Nebraska is dirty money, stained with Cuban blood and tears.

Street vendors detained in Cienfuegos

CIENFUEGOS, Cuba - August 16 (Luis Miguel González Leyva, Cubanacán Press / www.cubanet.org) - The National Revolutionary Police detained and fined a group of street vendors who were selling fruits and vegetables at lower prices than those in state stores.
Using a urban transportation bus for cover, the agents seized the products of six vendors operating on Castillo Street at 1:30 p.m., August 2.
Ramón Peña, one of those detained, said: "These measures are abusive. They fined me 1,500 pesos. As well, they took 14 packages of macaroni that I was selling at lower prices than the state, helping to alleviate the hunger of many people."

Save Iraq! Give up Latin America. A question of priorities.

I want to preface this little essay with something that can be considered an apology, but I will prefer to call it an explanation.
My history with the GOP goes back to the first Nixon term. I had just arrived to the USA. I had not a clue as to what a Democrat or a Republican meant. Technically I should had been rooting for the Democrats (they were not DemocRATS in my book then ) because Bobby Kennedy himself interceded for me so I would get a USA residency. But even at 15 years old I could tell that the Republican agenda was a lot more anticommunist than the Democrat.
I remember listening to that election night coverage on a tiny AM portable radio and was delighted when Nixon was announced the winner. To me Nixon sounded like an intelligent, savvy diplomat , and Humphrey just a simpleton yokel. It was clear to me even then that Nixon could do what the Democrats could not or had not done.

1) Get tough on the communists
2) Get us out of Vietnam
3) Bring back some much needed respect to the USA.

Nixon NEVER disappointed me. Even in his darkest moment I think Nixon had a set of balls few presidents have had. After al his accomplishments (I remember the famous “Only Nixon could had taken us to China”) the man took a bullet for his totally incompetent “team”. Nixon’s was a public hanging. The Democrats could not accept the fact that someone they had considered a looser a has been had accomplished everything the Democrats had promised and were not able or willing to fulfill. Nixon had to pay, and he faced it with the aplomb and moral fiber of a patriot. Nixon was lynched by the media and the liberals. He had a lousy public personality and made a massive mistake in his choice of words when he said “I am not a crook”, but he did NOT sit down and looked at an investigation committee and shamelessly insulted everyone’s intelligence with a “Well it all depends on what the meaning of the word crook is”. That kind of miserable, unmanly, unethical shit will always be the domain of the DemoRATS.
So I am now as I have always been a DEVOUT Republican. And I have enough letters, commendations and plaques to prove my commitment to the party.
With THAT out of the way, I don’t feel the least bit of ambivalence in criticizing my party’s and my president’s record in the last couple of years.
First as a Cuban I feel the transition document was badly strung together verborreah.
Four hundred pages of passive promises without a single word of proactive action.
It was a bad strategy from a political point of view. It was dismal management of a problem that is just now raising its ugly head again and hurting the USA in ways I foresee to be quite dangerous. People who by all accounts should KNOW KaSStro just handed him a endless plate of pre-cooked propaganda and not a god damn thing to weaken him.
Yes, I understand President Bush handed this down to a group of people, supposedly “experts” about Cuba and he received the now infamous shopping list. The most convoluted Chinese menu in the history of foreign policy. As Cubans we HAD to swallow it.. And hope for the best.!
I can point at every single tactical error on the document. From the futility of TV Marti to the 3 years wait to visit your family. I can unabashedly say that I did a lot more damage to KaSStro’s Kuba in my 5 trips since 1998 than I will by NOT going back until 2007 .

I really did not want to hear that the USA government was giving KaSStro 3 more years of life. I wanted to read ONE page where KaSStro was being given an ultimatum. AND there are plenty of factual data that WILL warrant the USA to give EL SUMO HIJO DE PUTA a sharp and unapologetic ultimatum.
Let’s look at what is happening in Kuba while we draft 400 pages of “And Cuba shall soon be free" documents

KaSStro is busy at work producing inexpensive interferon. This is done by genetic manipulation. They are also producing a Hepatitis B vaccine. Well you say that is good news, ain’t it ? Well it is until you find out THAT

a) These are NOT Kuban doctors doing this research. KaSStro is taking credit but these are Iranian, Iraqis, North Korean Chinese and every other piece of shit rogue country who wants to see the USA DEAD .
Just as he did in 1961 KaSStro wants to drop an A-Bomb on the USA. He now has the capacity to tweak a genome and the USA is history. Well you may ask, how a hepatitis B vaccine can hurt the USA.
And here we get to the scary part. The Hepatitis B vaccine is derived from the Escherichia Coli bacterium. E-Coli to you and me. Google E-Coli and get ready to be VERY scared! Once you control the genetic manipulation of E-Coli to produce a hepatitis vaccine, you can also tweak a different genome chain and cause uncontrollable chaos. Now, has President Bush NOT been advised as the possibility of this happening 90 miles from USA shores? Or are we REALLY listening to Jimmy "I am such a fucking idiot" Carter as far as Kuba's ability to send apolcaliptic rain up our way ?

Are the ANTI USA forces so deeply embedded within the ranks of our government that they have been able to bury this tremendous threat to USA security?

A flask of genetically manipulated E-Coli dropped in any water reservoir in the USA will kill millions. How do you do that? Simple! I brought back into the states a flask of Interferon never used it (had no need to) BUT, I brought it IN. I had no idea what it would even do. A cousin who works at the infamous Biochemistry center smuggled it out and suggested I may be able to sell it for $5K (the going rate in Kuba for wealthy AIDS patients who go to Kuba and deal in interferon. A practice as common as going to Haiti and score some ganja.

I didn’t know what I had and customs never looked in my bag. So who knows how many manipulated E-Coli flasks there may be stored in places all over the USA.

But.. We choose go to Iraq to look for WMD. And at the same time we give KaSStro the biggest break in his putrid collection of unholy breaks. We go half the way around the world and loose track of the devil at the doorway

Notice the changes in KaSStro’s policies the moment we hit Iraq.
Clamp down on dissidents, puts the military in charge of tourism, throws out foreign investors, tells the EU to go fuck themselves AND abolishes the dollar. SOMETHING has given The Beast a second wind. I personally do not think this is KaSStro thinking on his own . His brain is mush, too much amphetamines, too many exotic “health” treatments , too many blood transfusions.

There is a bigger cartel at play here. A cartel SO big that it may have set us up to fall into the Iraqi trap.

Now with the USA resources being spent in Iraq, what was a dying danger in Latin America suddenly re-appears; Communist take over. If we believe that Communism died with the fall of the USSR we are a bunch of idiots. Just like Nazis made a very nice adjustment to life in South America, these pricks chose the same shelter and they ARE hard at work to fulfill Krushev promise to bury us.

How does a country like Venezuela fall to an idiot like Chavez? How does this man who can hardly put a sentence together rig the “election recall”? That was no amateur hacker doing this or a brain fart from KaSStro’s bitch. THAT was planned by a MUCH higher power. An evil power that perhaps was under check during the USSR but with that gone has spread itself and is using very calculated practices to bring the USA to its knees
.
A thief takes advantage of lack of security to break into a bank and that is exactly what the USA has done. We have stopped looking south and the criminals are having a field day.

Oliver North has astutely pointed this out. As we fight a war with one hand tied behind our back “because we MUST fight fair in Iraq or we get CNN all over the USA army’s ass, Latin America has become a vipers nest.

We are accepting threats from Chavez. Let’s savor that! Hugo Chavez is THREATENING the USA. We seem to ignore him. I hoped that Bush had brought this bit of news to the American people. Just a quick “My fellow Americans, this nation that provides 14% of our crude is threatening us” Let that sink in Middle America. Let that simmer a bit in those places where USA citizens do not even know what a “Venezuela” is. (and we DO know those people exist). We as a country only recognize danger when 3000 people die at the hands of terrorist and 4 years later we balk at the fact that the police want to inspect our back packs. We have lived a sheltered live for way too long; we suffer of perennial innocence in a world full of hatred towards us. We can not understand it because we hate NO-ONE. We DEAL with tangible threats in a sortta of “Oh that CRAZY Chavez, or that silly KaSStro”. We even complain when our government tries to protect us. Sometimes our innocence just SCREAMS to the world COME AND RAPE ME!

In the mean time Chavez declares himself a socialist (Kuba’s history repeating itself) so we know it will not be long until he tells the world he IS a communist. An axis of anti USA factions gather, sign pacts, issue joint declarations of military aid. They could be sky writing this shit with 100 foot letter on top of the White House, and we are just too busy in Iraq.

Then you have the inner saboteurs, The “Pastors for Peace”, the congressmen, the senators the representatives who want a softer stance towards KaSStro because that will let their constituency sell a couple more million Garbanzo beans. Not a fucking ounce of thought at the repercussions. Feed the enemy you prick, make him stronger, let him come into YOUR house and bribe you with a 30 million dollar purchase order. And we see this day in and day out. And NO ONE at any high government level goes on a lectern and says .”HEY enough of this SHIT! You are selling your country. You are weakening our security, you are being fucked and you like it because the money looks good. Who stands up to this people.? Should it REALLY be brought up in Blogs like this one? Are BLOGS the best wake up call the USA has? Cause if we are we boys and girls, we are royally fucked.
Now, I don’t want to point at problems and just leave it at that , cause solutions we have and plenty of them , we just need to screw on a REAL set of COJONES.

And here would be my plan.

1) The 400 page transition document becomes a 4 page statement.
The USA withdraws ALL diplomatic personal from Kuba and stops all exports to Kuba . ALL, No rice no beans no band aids. Why? Because KaSStro is a menace to our security and we want to see him dead. Clear to the point! Anyone who disagrees immediately becomes suspect of collusion with KaSStro. Let the American people know the truth about what an E-Coli outbreak can do to your ability to have a solid bowel movement. Watch the people in Bedford Ohio, DEMAND we nuke KaSStro. Good, senators will stop their miserable personal agendas. If farmers need the money, I will happily buy anything that Kuba is willing to buy and distribute it to the poorer people in the nation. Hey we just wrote off a 50 billion dollar debt with Africa. What would another 200 million mean?

I will feed the fucking wolves in Alaska with that chicken before I give it to KaSStro.
Does this sound cruel to Cubans? Yes it is. Let KaSStro blame the USA for their ever dwindling scraps, he is going to blame us anyway. Eventually with NO hope of living and with NO food to eat, someone WILL stand up in Kuba.

Now, ANY sign, any attempt, any wind of a mass exodus gets a full tilt invasion up KaSStro’s ass. Fuck the UN, AI, and any DemocRAT in congress. A mass exodus is tantamount to an invasion hence we are acting in self defense.

There, 400 pages of bullshit distilled down to 2 paragraphs of Proactive HURT!.

We move on to Chavez. He THREATENS to cut our crude? We break relations. You do NOT threaten the USA without swift retribution. Because a THREAT portends an action and we MUST take threats seriously, so we issue a preemptive strike. The USA forces Saudi Arabia to produce the extra 14% crude we give up when we break relations with Chavez. Yes FORCE THEM! We will pay whatever the fuck they want. A gallon of gas may climb to 10 bucks but Chavez’s world will get VERY shaky, VERY soon. Now if the Saudis are blatantly taking advantage of the situation they will go on the shit list and their RETRIBUTION will be forthcoming as soon as Chavez threat is quenched.
With Venezuela and Kuba gasping for air, we call on to the OAS members to define their loyalties and do it NOW. Who is in? Who is out?. Whoever is OUT is OUT and we squeeze the fuck out them. Yes we will be called imperialists pricks but they do that anyway so why not take advantage of the moniker and use it? What? The New York Times and CNN may have a hissy fit? I am sure the owners of the NYT morals are not beyond reproach. Let’s air some dirty laundry and put THEM on the defense. There must be some compromising pictures of Ted Turner someplace that can make their way to the Enquirer. When the fighting gets as dirty as it has become, it is NO honor to be the only one fighting honorably. It is sheer stupidity.

CLEAN OUR FUCKING HOUSE. Get THIS continent SOLIDLY on our side. Feed Haiti, feed the starving masses in those countries were populists are bound to raise their filthy heads. Chop the heads of corrupt governments. Turn all anti USA harangue into a solid PRO-USA America. Let America BE ONE America.

Then and only then we move eastward, or we do NOT. A unified American continent does not need to look any further than itself for total independence and self-suficience. Let the EU fend for themselves. Let the French eat their fucking Croissants, we will eat Mexican Tortillas and chase them with Chilean wine. We will take advantage of the TREMENDOUS oil reservoirs in Alaska, fuck the Caribou. Buy a chunk of Canadian territory and move them there. With a REAL Alaskan pipeline at full production the Saudis can bottle their fucking oil and sell it as cheap enemas. We do NOT need it!
As far as the current Iraq situation; If we can not fight a war the way wars should be fought then it is criminal to have our men and women die in that hellhole. To give ungrateful pricks something they are incapable of either understanding nor accepting , is just an exercise in futility. They have proven to be animals. We do NOT go around trying to save hyenas from each other. That is a wise practice. Let’s apply that simple axiom to ANYTHING & ANYONE on earth.

Now, when danger is eminent , like Iran reaching the point of Military nuclear capabilities we act swiftly and we owe an explanation to NOONE , because by that time hopefully we would had left the UN to the scum that controls it , and they are now headquartered in some side street in Mozambique. I am SURE the French do not want those leeches in the middle of the Champs Elise

When our power is felt, when the power of The AMERICAS is felt world wide, we will see the pricks of the world lining up to kiss our collective asses. Let a free Cuba, Mexico, Chile, Argentina, Brazil take advantage of this. Let the American continent set the rules, Let the USA be the guiding light.

But we need to start looking SOUTH and punching hard. We need to accept that we ARE the most powerful country the world has ever known and stop apologizing for it. We need to stop withholding our might lest we are equated to a tyrannical Goliath.

Let us not forget that just by virtue of being small it does not mean that the David’s of the world are not a bunch of pricks hell bent in killing everything you and I hold dear; and instead of slingshots they are attacking us with dirty bombs, hijacked planes , suicidal fanatical cultist AND bio manipulated E-Coli bacteria.
The sleeping giant must SNAP out of it and flex some muscle. And this must be done SOON. Otherwise there will be no muscles left to flex.

Televangelist Pat Robertson Calls for Chavez' Death

There are a few moments in life, when no matter what common sense says, you are so taken aback, your only reaction is to stand back and smile, one of those big 200 watt smiles that you feel all the way to your toes. Reading this is one of those moments.

Here's the link: Yahoo News

Religious broadcaster Pat Robertson called on Monday for the assassination of Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez, calling him a "terrific danger" to the United States.
Robertson, founder of the Christian Coalition of America and a former presidential candidate, said on "The 700 Club" it was the United States' duty to stop Chavez from making Venezuela a "launching pad for communist infiltration and Muslim extremism."
Chavez has emerged as one of the most outspoken critics of President Bush, accusing the United States of conspiring to topple his government and possibly backing plots to assassinate him. U.S. officials have called the accusations ridiculous.
"You know, I don't know about this doctrine of assassination, but if he thinks we're trying to assassinate him, I think that we really ought to go ahead and do it," Robertson said. "It's a whole lot cheaper than starting a war ... and I don't think any oil shipments will stop."
Electronic pages and a message to a Robertson spokeswoman were not immediately returned Monday evening.
Venezuela is the fifth largest oil exporter and a major supplier of oil to the United States. The CIA estimates that U.S. markets absorb almost 59 percent of Venezuela's total exports.
Venezuela's government has demanded in the past that the United States crack down on Cuban and Venezuelan "terrorists" in Florida who they say are conspiring against Chavez.
Robertson accused the United States of failing to act when Chavez was briefly overthrown in 2002.
"We have the ability to take him out, and I think the time has come that we exercise that ability," Robertson said.
"We don't need another $200 billion war to get rid of one, you know, strong-arm dictator," he continued. "It's a whole lot easier to have some of the covert operatives do the job and then get it over with."

Give this man a big cigar.

War Posters

Surprinsingly, there's virtualy no graphic campaign to boost the morale of the population and the troops in World War III. There's a veritable barrage of negativist and derrotist messages directed to influence the public opinion in favor of abandonment of the battle fields and a virtual surrender. All one can see are calls about exit strategy (that's after defeating the enemy, idiot, and only then) and for bringing the troops back home now, thus giving the terrorists a victory. If one compares the nature of this messages with the campaigns that ran during World War II one realizes that the enemy have successfully planted a net of collaboration in the media. The Nazis would have won with such an effective propaganda machine working behind our homefront, but at that time being pro USA was a matter of pride. Michael Moore and Soros would have landed behind bars during WWII, no doubt. The many columnists that portray the GIs as villians would have been given a taste of what they deserve, and many terror enablers would have been interned in maximun security camps.
It's necessary to communicate support for our troops for the sake of victory. That's why I did the illustration, inspired by the World War II posters. I got the photo from an e-mail message that I received time ago. Sorry, I don't know who the photographer is, or who the soldiers are, any information is welcome. All I know about the photo is that it was taken during the battle of Fallujah. We all should try to obtain photos from the soldiers in Iraq and make a poster that we could send over the internet to our friends to support the troops. And we need to keep the collaborationists and traitors in check, with the laws about treason, trade and conforting the enemy that are in the books.

More books to the fire

I am taking this guy to task every single time that a book is burnt in Cuba. To punch him to the ropes in the right thing to do and Nat Hentoff gives him a huge beating on the Washington Times, landing punches all over that olive green cladded scumsack.
Of course, these crimes against humanity, culture, freedom of expression and information, human rights, and all other kagasstro's uttermost abuses matter very little to all of those that are desperate to get one of his autographed cigar boxes, go down there to chum up with him, trade some rice, and ultimately helping him distribute rice cookers. Make your voice heard, piss off a liberal politician, make your voice heard, piss off a kagasstro enabler and ultimately, drive kagasstro closer to that much needed coronary attack.

The importance of reading blogs

Nebraska Sen. Chuck Hagel, who was decorated with Purple Hearts during the Viet Nam War is now saying that the war in Iraq is pretty much looking like the war the press made us lose in Viet Nam. These are his words: "stay the course'' is not a policy. "By any standard, when you analyze 2 1/2 years in Iraq ... we're not winning". This guy is a possible canditate for the presidence in 2008. I don't remember that we were harvesting Dems in the Republican Party, though. Apparently, he reads too much NYTimes and watches too much CNN!

On the other hand Sen. George Allen, R-Va., another possible candidate for president in 2008, thinks that we are winning. He said a constitution guaranteeing basic rights and freedoms would benefit the Iraqis and make our positions stronger, in his own words: "I think this is a very crucial time for the future of Iraq.... The terrorists don't have anything to win the hearts and minds of the people of Iraq. All they care to do is disrupt."

My recommendation to Sen. Hagel is to leave those derrotist thoughs aside and to believe on the capabilities of our men and women in uniform on the ground. Another recommendation is that his state shall not trade with kagasstro because it will not earn him any brownie points in a large Southern State full of Cubans who happen to vote for his Party. And finally, go read some milblogs Senator. Learn what the soldiers feel about the war and their job in Iraq, also, listen to Sen. Allen. And I also hope that Arlen Specter has something to say after meeting with Cuban dissidents.

Bad cooking

The media and the always on the ball Babalu are reporting that kagasstro is just having some logistic troubles with his favourite rice cooker provider. So, now it's impossible to fullfill the promise of distributing them as it was called for by design in his original program "rice cookers for the revolutionaries". The situation is so bad that the dictator is issuing an SOS call for help directed to all of his global collaborators to scramble, run, and help. That's interesting.
Anyways, who the hell need rice cookers in Cuba and what for? To cook what rice? Pressure cookers? Yes, you can always use them to boil the contaminated tap water... Electrical hot plates and fans? I thought that the whole country was in darkness even at noon. These appliances are going to be powered with energy obtained from a human propeled electric generator attached to a Chinese bicycle, since there are no tires to ride those bicycles on the streets. The cycle works this way: eat some rice, climb on the static bike (so you keep yourself in shape!) and generate electricity to cook more rice. Like a gerbil on a ferris wheel.
The whole thing just provides another opportunity for "international entrepeneurs" to thickly pad their pockets at the expense of the suffering of the Cuban people. Of course, all while giving kagasstro his nice cut in the process! For future references, just take into account who is willing to participate in this charade, so that those guys cannot sell a single toothpick in a soon to emerge Free Cuba.

kaSStros Long Arm Updated

kaSStro is wining the battle to end the embargo and gain access to U.S. credit.

Organizations such as the National Lawyers Guild, IFCO/Pastors for Peace, Cuba Solidarity, The Democratic Party, The Carter Center, etc, etc, etc… There are dozens of organizations world wide dedicated to freeing kuba from American repression. Aiding them are the greedy politicians, Hollywood whores, a main stream media controlled by communists, and an unending supply of useful idiots.

You'd think that forty-six years of murder, oppression, war mongering, and the total destruction of a once beautiful thriving country would at least generate some bad press.

But no, there's world wide praise for kaSStro's accomplishments and all the islands problems are the fault of the evil United States and the embargo.

If you do a search for news, the results are page after page of stories like this one about the recent Pastors for Peace pilgrimage to worship at the feet of the Havana gangster idol. The trip apparently changed Jane Palmieri’s life.

From the Ashland Daily Tidings Link to article

Palmieri, Suzie Aufderheide, her two sons Colin and Ian Riversong, MaryAnn Jones and her son Brad — all from Ashland — joined the Pastors for Peace caravanista as they delivered humanitarian aide and good energy directly to the Cuban people. (Good energy? Not the kind that turns on lights.)

“Being in Cuba definitely changed my life,” said Palmieri. “Getting out of my American reality really made me think about some things.”
She said she saw a completely different lifestyle than the one she knows here in the U.S., saying one is just as likely to see oxen plowing a field as a tractor or an entire family on one bicycle rather than one person in a car.
“It’s not really a consumer society because the resources are so limited,” she said, adding that she realized “that capitalism and consumerism is not the only way for a country to succeed.”
Others in her group added, that one of the most amazing parts of the trip was getting a chance to hear Fidel Castro, Cuba’s president, speak.
“He was totally wonderful,” she said, noting that he spoke for more than four hours. She said he talked about various ways to stimulate the Cuban economy. One idea was to go into the bon bon business, because of Cuba’s access to cocoa. (Don’t you also need sugar to make bon bons? Maybe the dictator will die from laughing at Americans.)

Politicians from both sides of the isle eager to sell goods and make a fast buck for their constituents are clamoring for invites to the island paradise to claim their share of the spoils. They want to end the embargo and normalize relations with the beast, if asked about kaSStro's credit problems the responses are vague references to obsolete cold war policies. No one cares that we taxpayers will be footing the bill.

Nebraska Governor Dave Heineman, just back from a visit to the island is credited with doing the hard bargaining to secure the multi-million dollar sale of Nebraska agriculture products to kuba.
One of the delegates accompanying Gov. Heineman on the trip had this to say: "This trade team succeeded because of Gov. Heineman.” "In Cuba, it's about relationships, it's about honor and it's about trust. You don't develop those in a five-minute meeting...when the team goes back in November, we've laid a lot of the groundwork of what it takes to keep this going." Star Herald article.

And stories about those confiscated computers just won’t go away.

In an effort to embarrass the Bush administration and to provide the beast with another PR victory, Pastors for Peace has stepped up its media campaign to get those computers released from customs and delivered to kuba. In newspapers across the county, gushing first person accounts similar to Jane Palmieri's above, are being read by untold numbers of politically naïve Americans. These human news stories are carefully crafted to invoke sympathy for kaSStro, and his poor computerless school children, victims of the cruel embargo and the brutal President Bush.

Last Wednesday, Charles Rangel once again revealing just how much of cagasstro loving traitor he is, had this to say about the computers for fuehrer fidel. “If the Bush administration does not wish to help the people of Cuba, I appeal to them to get out of the way. Let others provide the compassion that the administration has often claimed as its own.”

And what about those computers, where did they come from? They were donated by a Catholic school. From the Columbian Missourian: Link to Article

Agnes Nickerson, Columbia Catholic School’s assistant principal, said the school donated the computers for use in Cuban schools. She said school administrators were under the impression that the computers had been cleared with U.S. Customs. Otherwise, she said, the school would have donated them to another organization.

Lucius Walker, director of Pastors for Peace, acknowledged that the group did not have the proper license for the computers and other equipment. But, he said, Pastors for Peace has repeatedly informed the government that “we firmly don’t believe we have to have the government’s permission to help our neighbors.” (So, I ask exactly what does this group tell potential donors?)

Similarily, in 1996 4oo computers were seized, after two months of protests Clinton released them and they were shipped to kuba.

While Americans, Canandians and Europeans enjoy their capitalist comfort and idealize the quaint oppression that Cubans live under, the beast has found a new ally, and this one has oil.

From Yahoo News, an excerpt:

HAVANA, (AFP) Chavez, who declared himself a socialist in January, has said socialism was on the rebound, 14 years after the collapse of the Soviet Union and the Communist bloc -- with the sole exception of Cuba.

He called for the launching of what he called a “Bolivarian alternative” to the Free trade Area of the Americas, a US backed initiative that seeks to remove trade barriers and promote democracy and accountability in the Western Hemisphere.

God help us all.

Update - If you have any doubt about just who pastors for piss represents, read this:

IFCO/Pastors for Peace plans to continue its campaign for release of the computers and computer equipment seized by US Customs on the orders of the US Commerce Department on July 21. They will take the campaign to Washington next week, to demand release of the aid and also to inform the US public about the dangers of the stepped-up aggression and hostility toward Cuba on the part of the Bush administration and the need to end the blockade. In the mean time, Fr. Luis Barrios and Bill Hill participated in a prayer vigil that was organized in Houston, to support Cindy’s campaign to stop the war in Iraq, bring the troop back and peace for the Iraqi people. They also participated in a radio program (Pacifica- KPFT-News) with Valerie Torres. Alma Cooper –one of the caravanistas- did all these extraordinary arrangements. Next day they did some media campaign in Houston and also in Beaumont, Texas. Fr. Barrios was trying to visit Ramón Labañino –one of the Cuban Five- however do to “prison security measures” this was not possible. However he had the opportunity to talk to Ramón on the phone and he sent greetings and love to all of you. (sic)

And this:

While that campaign continues on the road, they are visiting Cuba for several days because of the extraordinary importance of the Latin American Medical School program and the opportunity it offers to reduce health care disparities in the US. They also will attend the first graduation of the Latin American School of Medicine, which will include one graduate from the US.

Who are our enemies

(Please click on photo to read the caption)
The French donated the iron bars to construct the image of the butcher on the facade of the headquarters of the kagasstro equivalent of the Caribbean Gestapo.... I wonder if they also donated the iron bars to construct prison cells....
After all, they did construct a lot of things for the original Gestapo in their own country, so I am not a tad surprised. Maybe they cannot forget that some Cubans landed in Normandy to liberate them, and that, for a French equals to an American invasion of their homeland, as bad as an American invasion of Iraq. Well, you would say, Hitler was defeated and so was Satan Hussein, but a French has a very different perspective of the meaning of an invasion...
Remember that the German Nazi Army entered France "peacefully" with a lot of white flags saluting their advance, as compared to the resistence that the Germans put in Normandy when the Allies invaded. This says it all about the French.

Deal with the devil - salida illegal del país

Salida illegal del país, "illegal exit from country." Under Cuban Penal Code Articles 216 and 217, those caught trying to leave the country without the permission of the government can be fined or imprisoned for up to three years if they have not used violence and up to eight years if force or intimidation is used. In cases where passenger vessels or airplanes are hijacked, the charge is usually one of piratería, "piracy." Under Penal Code Article 117, piracy carries a penalty of up to 20 years imprisonment, or a possible sentence of death if there is loss of life or risk to the lives of others. Under the 1995 U.S. - Cuba immigration agreement, the Cuban government promised to "ensure that no action is taken against those migrants returned to Cuba as a consequence of their attempt to emigrate illegally." However, the Cuban government still has neither eliminated nor amended Penal Code Articles 216 and 217 to reflect this commitment. Articles 216 and 217 are still used to punish people for trying to leave the country without permission. That underscores the fact that the threat of punishment continues to hang over the heads of those who are returned to Cuba following attempts to leave without authorization.

If anyone doubts that Bill Clinton had sex with that women, do not doubt that thanks to him, and continued by George W. Bush, Cubans have been royally fucked. caSStro, who owes billions to foreign governments foolish enough to do business with him, who has never honored anything, agrees that there will be no punishment for people trying to leave Cuba without permission. And Bill Clinton, desperate to avoid another Mariel, shakes on it, thereby sentencing Cubans to life in the Gulag. Bill Clinton underestimated Cubans. So, still they come, taking their chances with the sharks, this year in record numbers, because even death is better than life with fidel. Some make it to the U.S. , others are "rescued at sea" and sent to Guantanamo, processed like common criminals and not the fleeing political refugees they are.

Luis Ortega – The cheese smells sweeter on the other side (Part Deux)

Yeah I know I sound obsessed with this prick Luis Ortega, so sue me!
I just find it utterly astonishing that this guy was KaSStro’s bitch until a month ago and now he is the loudest anti-KaSStro voice you can find in any Spanish newspaper.
This fact has not gone unnoticed. Yesterday, a reader’s letter (Mr. Ricardo Rodriguez Suarez from NY) was published NEXT to Ortega’s column (El Diario La Prensa gets brownie points for that – about fucking time!)
The reader astutely mentions that Ortega’s compass is FINALLY pointing in the right direction (Ortega had mention in his first anti-KaSStro column that the SUMO HIJO DE PUTA’s compass was skew)
The commentator goes to demand of Ortega that now that he has done the 180 (perhaps because Ortega indeed smells the imminent downfall of KaSStro) he (Ortega) take up the anti-KaSStro cause with as much fervor as he did the Pro-KaSStro cause. That now it was his DUTY to combat those at El Diario La Prensa who are still blatant cult fanatics.
GREAT letter Ricardo !

The one thing that I do find totally incongruous is the fact that the editors of El Diario did not call Ortega to the side and asked him to at least explain what the fuck made him change his mind ! I mean this guy has already done it twice and he seems to go through this exercise without anyone questioning his intentions, his integrity, his moral fiber and credibility as a commentator.

I mean, what did KaSStro do in the last few months that he has not been doing in the last 46 years?

So the brownie points to El Diario are being subtracted because of their complete ignorance of what is being published in their newspaper.

Now, something interesting; I just noticed that the Editor in chief of EDLP is a new individual by the name of … READY FOR THIS?
Alberto Vourvoulias-Bush .
Could THAT hyphenated last name have anything to do with Ortega’s flip?

I am writing to Mr. Vourvoulias-Bush (vourvoulias@eldiariolaprensa.com) because; “Inquiring minds want to KNOW!"

Oh , you may also want to drop a line to ROSSANA ROSADO (publisher & CEO) rorosado@eldiariolaprensa.com.

Let’s see if they even realize that Ortega is putting the “reputation” (? HA!) of the paper in jeopardy.

Y la zafra va,va, va pal carajo

Well it appears that “EL SUMO HIJO DE PUTA” can not reconcile himself to the fact that he is not only the biggest murdered in Latin American history , but also the biggest failure as the leader of a country.
In typical KaSStro “forget what I said, listen to what I am saying NOW” the beast has declared that:
(see link)
"Cuba will never live off sugar again. That belongs to the era of slavery"

He states this as if it had been a calculated decision on his part. As if he is indeed saving Cubans from that which he considered “slave” work.

Of course , he (conveniently) forgets that until he realized that his mismanagement of the sugar industry produced harvests so dismal that you need to go back to 1908 to match the output of last years production his mantra to the Cuban people was that Cuba would one day be in full control of the international Sugar market.

He forgets , but we do not. He forgets sending millions of schoolchildren to cut sugar cane two months out of the year , because we were going to PRODUCE MORE SUGAR THAN WE HAD EVER SEEN IN CUBA’S HISTORY .. MOTHERFUCKING BASTARD!

He forgets he solemnly pledged to achieve a zafra of 10 million metric tons!

He forgets that to accomplished this he sent every god damn Cuban , from school children to retired doctors to the fields. He of course FAILED, miserably. That year with great discontent on his part he admonished the Cuban people that they had only produced 8 tons.

Well if you know ANYTHING about sugar production you know that those fucking 8 tons DESTROYED the Cuban sugar industry. Cutting sugar cane is a very delicate operation. When you see a “guajiro” chopping sugar cane you are looking at VERY skilled labor. It takes YEARS of practice to cut the sugar cane at the right height, the right angle and the right time of year.

The amount you produce do not only depend on how much sugar cane is standing up , but how READY for harvesting that sugar cane is.

Now, I am SURE someone must have told this the El GeneraliSSimo , but in his infinite arrogance he went ahead and fucked it up.

I remember as a kid my first “Volunteer Work” as a sugar cane cutter. It has to be the worst job in the world. Sugar cane leaves have serrated edges that cut your skin like a scalpel. Those cuts would get infected and you may spend a couple of weks laying on a hammock waiting for your fever to subside and keep cutting , or for some motherfucking RANK member to send you back home.

On my first day cutting, an old guajiro was near me , smoking the butt of a cigarette. His skin looked like cheap shoe leather. His eyes were cloudy and he looked at me and started laughing his ass off .

“Why do you laugh” I asked him “Because they way you fuckers are cutting sugar cane it will NEVER grow again” he responded.

He was right I was swinging that machete as you would a baseball bat . Fuck it I was 11 years old. !

Then KaSStro came up with a Russian invention that would do away with manual sugar cane cutting. The Americans had been at this for ages, but they failed. Again the skill, the precise cut and angle was not there. But the Beast went ahead with the Russian monster. He again fucked up a sizeable chunk of future growth.

Now, when he can not manage to get 1.8 tons he declares “THIS IS SLAVE WORK”
So I ask of him “ You motherfucking piece of shit, you dirty scumbag this is “slave” work and you had me do this for 3 years of MY life and had every Cuban with a pulse doing it?
What the fuck kind of "leader" are you?

He will NOT admit to himself nor to the people that he just fucked up the biggest revenue stream Cuba ever had. Cuba went from one the mayor exporters of sugar in the world to buying Sugar from Brazil. Brazil wasn’t even producing sugar in 1959!

And there he is in all his cirrhosis, spotted glory liberating Cubans from yet another slave yoke . The fact that he FORCED all of us to go through this experience is irrelevant at the moment. The fact that it took him 46+ years to remove the noose and ONLY because there was no more rope left, he cavalierly chooses to ignore.

Tourism was the “slave” labor of 1959.
Tourism meant prostitution and servitude and you promised Cuba would be self sufficient without the need to prostitute our women or serve as waiters and waitresses for wealthy tourist. But now.. Tourism is your trump card!

We know you KaSStro; you are changing history WAY too soon. We lived that history. It is fresh in all of our memories and in many scars we suffered during your Sugar Cane delirium .
You fail again, as you always have. Only at being the consummate despot have you been able to succeed.
But this luck, this infinite devilish luck that can only have come from Satan himself is running out.
Prepare the bags old man cause LA ZAFRA GOES .. AND YOU WILL TOO .. SOON!

5 cents a gallon of gas and a spoonful of sugar

That's the price of gas in Iraq.
Nothing that you will read in the main outlets of the mainstream media, not at least on their front page.
This morning, the headline of that article (as featured in one of the multiple newsfeeds of AOL) added a question mark wondering how was it possible. I read the whole thing, but the answer was not there. Gas in Iraq is as low as a nickel a gallon thanks to the sacrifice of the Americans soldiers on the ground. I would like (Assistant) Professor Gregory T. Cushman to illuminate us with an explaination on why gas in the U.S. of A. is so expensive and why is it so cheap in Iraq. What's the deal that we are not stealing it, as pregoned by the liberal media? Wasn't it blood for oil one of their rallying battle cries, during election times? What's the deal with the Big Oil from Texas that is not stealing of that rich oil from Iraq? C'mon, professor, the facts and the figures show something else here... They show that America is the most generous country of this world!
Maybe the Ass(istant) professor have an explaination about the latest show of kagastrist inneficiency: the assassination of the Cuban sugar industry. Now it happens to be "a thing of the times of slavery"... Last time I checked, Cubans are treated (and fed) worse than the nineteenth century slaves. So the industry that created the Cuban nation was destroyed by kagastro to a mountain of ruins and rubble. And by the way, the rum and beer industry in Cuba was also destroyed by kagastro (and don't forget ernie "the butcher" guevara, his minister of industry) At this point, perhaps the professor want to show us the divine light of the incredible salary pocketed by a Cuban worker of one of those industries TODAY and who knows if he even dares to compare that to the figures of pre-kagasstro times. I pity his students!
An interesting turning point was the revolutionary plan that did away with more of the natural environment with deforestation plans to gain lands to cultivate whatever was in the mind of el maximo leader at any given time. This was done with mechanized military units, tanks to be precise. The stupid attempt at desecating the Cienaga de Zapata (a large swamp in Central Cuba) is another classic example. All of this drove kagasstro into a histerical megalomaniac mode and he declared that he would steer the productive forces of the sugar cane industry in the right direction to produce 10 million metric tonnes of sugar. The country was never to be the same after that, he said. He failed, rather miserabily, and the country was never the same. Professor, let Carlos Santana alone for a while, read some Carlos Alberto Montaner, Humberto Fontova, and if you want to read about sugar cane history, please read Moreno Fraginals, a contemporary author who really knew about the subject. Now go back to assist a real professor.

Cultists, enablers and assholes OH MY!

I recently forwarded a scan of a 1956 payroll check to “therealcuba.com” in an effort to quench this MYTH that the Cuban worker before KaSStro was exploited and unfairly rewarded by big corporations – The PRIMARY propaganda of KaSStroSpeak.
Well the check was indeed posted and it generated the comments at the bottom of this post by an asshole enabler by the name of Gregory T. Cushman.
Google this guy – he has an interesting record as a pundit of just about EVERYTHING under the sun. His expertise about Cuba lies in three factors.

1) He IS married to a Cuban
2) He has visited the real Cuba (Oh MY!)
3) He is a “history expert” who has spent a great deal of time studying Latin American economics.

First I am going to address this petulant little lackey’s idiotic reasoning for doubting the validity of this check. (See Here)

Here we have an "ASSISTANT PROFESSOR" who is AN EXPERT in History ( why he hasn't become a professor I guess we do not discuss!)

THEN, he looks at a WHOLE web site(www.therealcuba.com) full of irrefutable evidence about KaSStro Barbarism and he leeches onto something that he can misinterpret at his leisure just by making irresponsible assumptions . Let me enumerate the degree of this asshole’s BULLSHITING capabilities

1) He ASSUMES (there is no place in that check that mentions this) that the 547 checks go to clerks who THEN will pay day-workers...
How he comes up to this conclusion is beyond comprehension, but I dare to guess that he is mistakenly translating the word "jornales" to mean " daily-workers" as "jornaleros" is a common expression for Mexican daily workers. Unfortunately he may be an expert in History but knows SHIT about the Spanish language or how we used it.
JORNAL was used in Cuba as a synonym of "salary" - end of THAT fucking bit of fantasy on the part of this idiot.

2) Why would there be "daily workers" or unskilled labor within the Bacardi building? In fact what possible need would Bacardi have to have unskilled workers? Bacardi did not cut sugar cane, Bacardi produced Rum & Beer and NOT sugar, so this "unskilled" reference is another moronic assumption on the part of this asshole.

3) Day-wage workers were not paid by check! Okay where the fuck does this twit get that from? First he ASSUMES this money was to meant to pay SEVERAL THOUSAND Zafra workers ( sugar cane cutters).
He totally ignores the fact tha Bacardi was NOT in the business of producing SUGAR , they bought Sugar from nearby "Centrales" and that checks were the usual mode of payment for workers, blue or white collared

My father was a Phone company Engineer and got paid by check ($220 pesos a month! ) now you say well yes cause he was an Engineer . Well my two uncles who lived next door to me also got paid by check and they were delivery boys for a pharmacy in Miramar. How much was their check? $67.00 pesos a month. They would usually cash them at the local grocery store, after paying their monthly bill.

This idiot knows NOTHING about Cuba but we Cubans, ALL of us remember the "apuntalo en la cuenta" . It was a common practice in Cuba to buy your daily needs and pay at the end of the month when you got your PAYCHECK!

Was Cuba a utopia before KaSStro? Well that is another stupid statement by a pseudo intellectual twit whose claim to fame in this life time is to consider himself an expert AND lug a REAL professors books around.

Were there poor, DIRT poor people in Cuba BC ? Yeah LOTS of them! Were sugar cane cutters making the kind of salary that are depicted in the check? NO.. But we NEVER SAID THEY DID!

This prick ASSUMES (by his dismal understanding of Cuban semantics in 1956 ) that we are.

So as it usually happens, this moron ignores the pictures of Biscet’s jail , the atrocious conditions of the "GREAT health facilities in Kuba, and targets an issue based on HIS assumptions about Cuban semantics and Latin American economics of the time. There you go bud, Now we know why you are a flunky.

Since this asshole decided to include his name and phone numbers in his email, this becomes public knowledge and it is included so any of you with the inclination can tell this arrogant piece of scum where to go.
Oh and by the way, do not forget to Google this piece of shit. You will find he is a LOT more than an expert in Cuban affairs!
And NOW to the BULLSHIT …

Dear "the real Cuba":
One of my family member just forwarded me the following link: Destroying the Myth
I took a close look at that 1956 pay statement issued by Bacardi.
The accompanying explanation is the biggest pile of pseudo-historical bullshit I've seen in a long time.
I am a professional historian, and I've spent days(oh MY!) reading through documents of this sort from similar businesses operating in Peru, Ecuador, and the United States (and yes, I've done Cuban research, as well).
This document means that 547 checks were issued TO PAY CLERKS (now how he KNOWS this is beyond comprehension) who then distributed CASH payments to employees ("jornales"). Day-wage workers were not paid by check!
Only SALARIED employees were paid by check.
This sum was probably divided among several thousand workers during the zafra. This posting displays historical ignorance of the most disgusting kind.
You are essentially claiming that an average, unskilled or semi-skilled Bacardi worker in 1956 made the equivalent of US$14,000 in 2005 US dollars.
That is far more, in real dollars, than U.S. unskilled and semi-skilled workers were paid at the time! It is far more than either of my U.S. grandfathers made (your grandfather was probably as much of an idiot as YOU are) Indeed, Cuba B.C. was a utopia!!!
I'm really glad you posted this.
This will become an exhibit in my historical methods course to show how people use historical documents to tell politically motivated LIES--because that is what this is. (Glad to be of service, dont forget to link to THIS page as well)

(P.S. And yes, I've seen the "real Cuba"--staying with my in-laws in Oriente, including the special period--and the "fake Cuba," living in Miami.
If los exilios cubanos (sic) (hey an attempt at Spanish , it is EXILADOS you uneducated turd!) actually admitted to the truth a little more often, maybe we would be living in a post-Castro world. I'm still waiting for you guys to do something that doesn't simply make that goat stronger.
Sincerely,
Gregory T. Cushman

An Armed Citizenry

A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed

The U.N. is after Americans' Second Amendment gun rights – it wants gun ownership banned in the U.S., and it's not going to stop until it gets its way.
The International Action Network on Small Arms is working with the UN, Amnesty International, OXFAM and some five hundred anti-gun organizations world wide promoting the UN’s Arms Trade Treaty. The authors of the treaty deny that they are attempting to infringe on citizen gun ownership rights in countries that allow private ownership of guns, stating they just want illegal weapons smuggling controlled. They propose that every gun manufactured have its ownership registered and traced. They say that will allow tracking of illegal sales, but it sounds to me like it will allow for easy confiscation of weapons should say, Hillary become president, and congress pass anti-gun legislation. Sound far fetched? Maybe, but I believe this is the exact scenario our founding Fathers had in mind.

They knew what they doing, some quotes:

No Free Man Shall Be Debarred the Use of Arms – Thomas Jefferson

The Constitution Shall Never Be Construed to Authorize Congress to Prevent the People of the United States, Who are Peaceable Citizens from Keeping Their Own Arms – Samuel Adams

Little More can be Reasonably Aimed at With Respect to the People at Large Than to Have Them Properly Armed – Alexander Hamilton

Americans Have the Right and Advantage of Being Armed – James Madison

Batista had all Cuban citizens register their firearms before 1958, after the revolution, caSStro’s henchmen used those lists to confiscate the firearms, disarming the citizens. Imagine the hijo de putas fate and what Cuba would be like today without those lists.

Seventeen heros

According to a report from Afghan journalist Ayaz Gul, writing today from Islamabad for the Voice of America, seventeen Spanish soldiers were killed in a NATO helicopter crash in Afghanistan. They were with the NATO-led peacekeeping corps in operation in Afghanistan and the spokesman from the Spanish Defense Ministry reports that the helicopter went down near the western city of Herat, near the main base of the Spaniards.
At this point it's not know if there was a mechanical failure or if the craft was downed by enemy fire, since there are considerably less terrorist groups operating in that area than in the mainly lawless Eastern and Southern parts of that country.
As a strange note, some Afghan officials are saying that the craft collided in mid-air with another helicopter (we all now that in those regions the rumor mill has more or less the same face value and the same accuracy than CNN) while there's no official confirmation from neither the US or the Spanish forces operating in the area. Apparently, the second group of Spaniards hurt in the incident were part of another heli-borned crew that was conduction a rescue mission after seeing the first helicopter crash. These brave men died for the freedom of Afghans, for the elimination of the savage "sharia" and for the dignity of women and children, so the women of Afghanistan are not bundled in burqas by some bearded asshole with ten meters of rags around his head and their kids are not traded as sex objects to be raped and killed by some Mohammedan bastard. These men died trying to bring the joys of everyday life to one of the saddest corners of this planet, they died trying to secure a future for millions of people who were robbed of their happiness and the spark in their eyes by the Taliban and Al-Qaeda.
After Zapatero and his Zapatistas did away with the glory of Spain nn March 11, I would not be surprised if the left starts braying for the total retreat of these troops from the Afghan theater of operations. It was reported that the Spanish soldiers left Iraq in shame, with their heads low, because they felt that they had been betrayed by the socio-communist conspiracy that used the terrorist attacks of March 11 to create a political climate of chaos to wrestle power from the Popular Party. The left in Spain has a history of conforting terrorists, of loving kagasstro, and mainly, of being fiercely antiAmerican. The Spanish left is very vocal in asking for condemnation to Bush, whom they refuse to call by his title of President, but at the same time they call the beast of Biran "Caudillo" and "Presidente". As far as I can recall, kagasstro doesn't meet the minimun gonad mass requirement to become an apprentice of caudillo and he had never been elected president of Cuba, he is just a brutish murderous dictator. But you already know the left. They do any and everything to prop a tyrant of Stalinist pedigree. Or an Islamic terrorist, or some ETA criminal, or some ridiculous colonel of vaudeville, like chavez.
In this dark hour, we need to salute and confort our Spanish allies in all sectors of society and the military and join them in their repudiation of Zapatero the Communist. The Spaniards need our support too, at least in the moral field, so that the fifth column of the left in Spain can be effectively destroyed and defeated.
Viva España!

Dictators and despots

I don’t know how this happens but I have a knack for getting myself into these situations where I feel I have not only to condemn KaSStro but defend every thing the conservative right stands for.
Today was an acquaintance who although anti-KaSStrist had the utter balls to compare KaSStro and Franco. I don’t even know how the conversation started but If you think I curse when I write you gotta hear me when I scream. So there I am giving this guy a history lesson that I don’t think he will EVER forget.
First Franco. Was he a dictator? Yes he was .. Point given. WHY was he a dictator? He HAD to be ! The communists in Spain where RUTHLESS pricks, every god damn pseudo commie in the world was fighting against him, talk about MERCENARIES! (Funny when they fight on the commie side, they are International brothers.. FUCK THEM ALL)
If you EVER go to Spain go to Toledo, the Alcazar specifically.
In it you will see a room, small about 7 ‘square there is a chair a table and an old telephone. One of those things you must crank and it will ring on an operator’s board for patching.
There is also a conspicuous button that when pressed it plays back a barely intelligible conversation, but as you read along you realize the chilling course of events on that July 23 1936. The transcript is written in various languages but to get the full impact you MUST hear the words spoken in Spanish.
The “Republican” troops “The Reds” had been driven back into the fortress and Francos troops under General Moscardo had held them at bay for 70 days.
In typical communist underhanded cowardice the republican leader has Moscardos 16 year old son kidnapped. On that July 23 he cranks the phone, turns on an old wire recorder and calls Moscardo. He tells him the “REDS” had his son , and if he did not surrender his 16 year old son would be executed.
Moscardo sounds shaken abut this news , his voice cracks and he asks to speak with his son as proof he is still alive. The wish is granted. His son then explains “ Dad if you don’t surrender they will shoot me” Moscardo obviously in tears at this point tells his son. “Then commend your soul to GOD , scream VIVA ESPAÑA and die like a hero” with this a “VIVA ESPAÑA” scream is heard followed by a single shot”. The 16 year old kid had died like a hero.
This is what Franco faced when he liberated Spain from the claws of the Soviet Union and world wide pricks. In order to defeat the well armed Communists Franco had to make the tough decision of allying himself with Hitler. Tough in more ways than one because Franco STILL saw Hitler as a socialist but a socialist that had enough money weapons and food to allow him to fight an even battle.
Both Russia and Germany tested all the weapons they would later used during WWII in Spain. Spain was devastated , but without a doubt with the help of Germany’s war machine Franco won. Now, the most interesting part of this unbelievable man.
Franco owed Hitler a MASSIVE debt, not only of gratitude but economical. Hitler demanded that Franco join the axis but Franco steadfastly stuck to a neutral position. Franco had used Hitler’s help masterfully but had no desire to ally himself with a crazed man. He actually convinced Hitler that a Neutral position by Spain would be the most convenient to Germany. Somehow Hitler bough this line of reasoning. And Spain was indeed a neutral country during WWII.
The same positioning was offered to the Allies. So both Germany and the Allies could at any given point be repairing submarines side by side on the same Spanish dock.
Spain recouped a great deal of money to re-construct itself. With no desire of expansion nor exporting ideology. Franco remained committed to a better Spain. Both the allies and Hitler needed this strategic piece of land and Franco was more than willing to make both pay for it. But it was Hitler who paid the dearest as Franco was convinced that Hitler’s “socialist” regimen would eventually fail, he gradually, inexorably shifted his allegiances towards the allies.
After Hitler with his Teutonic efficiency marries Eva and shoots her and himself in the head. (WHAT a reception “er no cake moin fuher ? .. BAM!)) The German high command had all hope that Spain would give them safe conduct to Latin America. Franco did, but for FOUR days! After that period all German assets in Spain will be confiscated and Germans would no longer able to travel through Spain.
The Germans were livid, there were millions of dollars in gold bullions in Spain and Franco was only allowing them a token period of time them to get their house in order and piss the fuck off OR .. He would have to confiscate. Threats from Germany began landing on Franco’s desk. Of course at this point with 20/20 hindsight the German’s realize Franco had played them like a cheap banjo. Alongside of the threats came letters of support and request from help from the allie. Franco true to his word CUT the Germans signed treaties with the USA & Britain, but ALWAYS keeping full control of his country and sovereignty.
And THAT is how one man led a country through a devastating war civil war that left 95% of Spain in rubbles.
In 10 years Spain was once again a metropolis. At this point Spain had only to watch for that miserable RED beast to lift its head again . Once it did he would cut it off. So the semantics of the language do tells us FRANCO was a dictator.
But KaSStro The Beast of BIRAN is a despot . There had never been a moment of valor that even compares that that hot July in Toledo. KaSStro faced a “war” where the grand total of casualties was …. 150 men – AMONGST BOTH SIDES!
KaSStro walks into a thriving, rich cosmopolitan city and in 10 years sends it back to the stone age. He sells his soul the USSR and never tries to reconstruct the country. His GREATER destiny was at hand, that of BURYING” the USA, Cuba be damned, Cuba was to KaSStro a means to an end. Spain was to Franco his "raison de etra” a REAL vision which came to life for all the world to see.
A vison that came true out of sand blood of 16 year old kids happily dying for a cause.
So yes , my dear friend Franco WAS a dictators and Spain should kneel at his tomb and thank him every day for his wisdom , courage and love to country.
As for KaSStro what will his obituary will say ?
I know it will bee difficult to read with all the shit that will be thrown against THAT tomb.

Carlos Santana rides his donkey again

Carlos Satanas Santana was the featured "cultural icon" of last night on that trashy TV show, "Tras la Verdad" that airs for one hour on Univision (for the Anglo reader, a Mexican show on a Mexican owned prokagasstro TV station that spews propaganda for ignorants and shows for maids in the USA) The babbling che huevara t-shirt wearing, spoke about the protests of Cubans against him for sporting the infamous shirt at the last edition of the Hollywood ceremony of the Oscars. Apparently Carlos Satanas Santana didn't have a tie die t shirt and then his sartorial advisor got him this piece of shit to wear. Along others, he spoke very negatively about Cubans and the Cuban community, calling us ignorants... Oh Lord, Carlitos, man, look at the figures of the Census. Look at the figures of the IRS before taking out of your ass that way, please, give me a break. We are a minority among immigrants in this country and we produce much more than the rest of you together.... Go ask the secretary of commerce, please, or the head of immigration, both Cubans. By the way, according to this peyote head, we are not only ignorants, but also very arrogant and happy of being ignorant. Again, I guess that so much pot and so much LSD fried your brains fucked. Carlitos, I know the name of those feelings you have: envy and fear.... Once Cuba is set free you will see how tourism jobs are going to dwindle in that country of yours and how a bunch of your people are going to try to raft down to Cuba (good news: they are going to be sent back and this scenario is not going to happen) to wander around Havana for menial jobs while holding mysterious brown paper bags. That's not gonna happen you red piece of communist shit. According to Carlitos, we don't stop crying for the lost of Cuba, while them, Indians from Mexico don't cry for the lost of theirs. Maybe they don't care Carlitos, they had nothing to cry about, and we do and as a reminder, we are no Indians dude, fuck that liberal shit of putting all of us in a sack. We are not in the same sack... Go back and take a look at the income, degree of success and diplomas, and leave that peyote alone for a while. We lost a first world country at the hands of a tyrant who has always had Mexico as an ally, and Mexico is for us Cubans an enemy country to be dealt as such once we are free. Y'all will be loving Sam Houston if you mess with us, which is much worse than messing with Texas. Take note asshole.
What are the people who watch Spanish TV and that have an ounce of morals waiting for to boycott it and to write all sort of nasty letters to the big Mexican honchos that control all of those stations? How's that Univision (from now on IndioVision, UniMision, etc.) can have it base of operations in Miami, where Cubans are not a minority? Is there any Miami Cuban picketting out there? Well, guys, let me know... And here I go again against our so called celebrities: Where is the uproar in protest of those fellow Cubans Cristina Saralegui (she even speaks Mexican on the air and endorsed a terrorist, Cruz Bustamante against Arnold Schwarzenegger - hey Santana, can you spell Schwarzenegger?), Raúl de Molina, Lily Estefan, Teresa Rodríguez, and many others who still work for than antiCuban outfit? They are silent. Like the Cubans Hollywood, who are also very silent. Why is that no one of them ripped that fucking shirt off the chest of that scumbag and beat him black and blue?
I think I have the answer: a total lack of cojones.
That I remember, the only one in lashing Satanas very hard was Paquito de Rivera. Very different from others in the TV and movie industries and the business of music that have been very quiet. They all love their Mexican BLOOD money more than they love their own countrymen, and they are a bad spectacle, they are a less than dignified circus. Once more and again, I offer this soapbox to all the Cuban celebrities to come out and express themselves loud and clear and with no fear. If they don't take the opportunity, well, they are proving that they are no different from any other liberal media talking head or from any kagasstro appointed talking head. Going back to Indio Carlitos, well dude, remember, in Mexico the Indian and Mestizo population is oppressed and mistreated by your own kind. They are exploited, they are murdered and raped every day by your own cohort of coyotes, land owners and even TV executives and they come here where they have it better. So get your Aztlan and Mecha shit together and smoke it in someone else's backyard. As I said before, you're are going to witness Mexicans trying to emigrate illegally to a free Cuba. The rafts will be going to Cuba.... they will be sent back, sorry, you were our sworn enemy, so now fuck off. This is directed not only to Carlitos, but to all of those who own a che huevara t-shirt. Please help Carlos Satanas Santana to get his lawnmower back. You will need that skill, because the record executives will soon have an overwhelming choice in signing on a bunch of Cuban musicians with no restrictions and your mediocre music will be exposed as such. Maybe you will need to get a leafblower too. Good luck in hell, asshole.

CAPITALISM, the only way to fly!

You just gotta love it. I mean it is the only real natural social environment for any human being.
The survival of the fittest that is embedded into our DNA. Capitalism is as much a part of being a human being as it is walking into a burning building to save a kitten. Not many monkeys doing THAT, I have noticed.
We all have the need to succeed, all of us at various degrees of necessity. So Socialism ( I am not even touching communism !) is just as foreign to a human being as eating lunch under water, while playing a banjo. Yeah some asshole may give it a whirl, but you KNOW it just ain’t gonna catch on.
And this brings me to Mr. Mick Jagger and his now infamous tune, supposedly criticizing President Bush.
Well it turns out that the Stones tour is sponsored by “Ameriquest”, a well know republican bastion. Ameriquest is also a solid Arnold Schwarzenegger supporter both politically and financially … so Arnold came up with a great way of raising funds for the Republican Party, Sell $100,000.00 tickets at selected venues in the upcoming Stones tour. You get to see Jagger’s lips from a comfy private sky booth; I am sure accompanied by a lovely complementary buffet being served by hostesses right outta the pages of PLAYBOY.
So how does “Ameriquest” brass feels about “Mick’s” little foray into USA politics? Well…. PISSED! . A LOT of very wealthy republicans have cancelled their SkyBooth reservations. Hey I pay $100K to see a 60+ year old shake his tiny ass he damn better be someone I agree with politically!
So Sir Jagger needs to do some extra brown nosing about this shit (Keith must be laughing HIS skinny & wrinkled ass off) and SOON. ‘cause apparently the preview copy of “A Bigger Bang” sent out by the record Company to all radio stations AND Ameriquest did not have 'Sweet Neo Con' in it. So a lotta people feel “Conned”
Now this is what is SO FUCKING cool about Capitalism and democracy. Jagger had his moment of senile liberalism and those with the bucks voted with their checkbook.
I would love to see the legal ramifications of this. ‘Cause The Stones just don’t have a LOT tours left in them and if big corporate sponsors just pass on the next or “A bigger Bang” is indeed a “BIG FLOP” Jagger is gonna ride into the sunset as a very rich but utterly disgraced clown !

Heroes

This is what Yoan Hermida has to say about his service for our country, straight from Iraq.

“The deaths here are very real, but there are so many other positive things going on as well. The way I look at it, being here is unpleasant and dangerous, but someone has to do it. Someone has to make these insurgents realize that they are wrong and we are right.”

Yoan, and the millions of men like him are why we live in freedom in this great country. There is more, well worth reading, plus a great link to an article by Thomas Sowell on the media and the public perception of the War. Please, drop by and show your support.

Ningun cumpleaños

Dan Rather has stated that “Castro feels a very deep and abiding connection to those Cubans who are still in Cuba." "There’s little doubt in my mind that Fidel Castro was sincere when he said, "Listen, we really want this child back here."

Of course caSStro cares deeply about Kubas youth.

Then what about this:

Posted in remembrance, we will not forget.

We get letters .. LOTSSA LETTERS!

One of the nice things that accompany hosting a BLOG are the emails from totally unknowns . Especially the NICE ones (I keep looking for Swiss bank account numbers but so far I have been SOL) . The others they can just kiss my "Monte Barreto" (now there's a HABANA reference for ya !.Someone named Rodolfo (All of the people who write to us have cool "code" names, don't they?) sent me this little essay he wrote and wanted to share with me, well I didn’t get to it until 2:58AM on Sun - (Don't ask, my life is more complicated than the explanation as to how Camilo disappeared, and right now I AM REALLY pissed at Russian furniture delivery men!. I told ya DON’T ASK!..Anyhow here's RRRRRodolfo contribution - Hope ya like it.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Fidel reflects on his world on his 79th birthdayLooking into the mirror after awakening a little latethis 13th of August 2005,Fidel had to admit he looked pretty good."It was a good speech I gave last night on TV rebel".Although I had planned on speaking only an hour or sothought Fidel (I really was trying to quit before thelatest pirated first run movie was to be shown at8:00PM) I really got carried away and just couldn'tstop haranguing those damn Yanquis about the Cubanfive and our latest victory in the court. So oh well we can show the damn movie some othernight. What time did I quit anyway? Last I remember wastaking the Parkinson's medicine around midnight anddrifting off to sleep shortly thereafter.I have to remember to call Randy and apologize fortaking his program "Roundtable" off the air last nightin order to make the airwaves available for mydiscussion. And by the way, while I can hold a thought, I need tocall Raul and make sure he gets something on my palRandy so that if that bastard keeps getting morepopular we can have a little accident and make himdisappear. Ah Camilo what are you up to buddy? Maybeyou can call Randy and let him know what happens toanyone who becomes more popular than me!!You know I simply can't understand. I pick theugliest, baldest, foulest smelling bastard in thewhole country to host that Roundtable show and now myinternal polling mechanisms are showing that thispinhead is sitting with more than half the popularsupport that I have. This simply can't continue. Oh well why worry about this when it's my birthday!!!Boy I can't wait to see what all my hand pickedgovernment cronies will bring me. I know what Raul has in mind. What a great Bro he is.He always brings me the latest firing squad statisticsand a couple of fingers in a jar of embalming fluid.Who could ask for anything better? (I hope he bringsthe drug smuggling stats too)But how about Pedro? I know he will be here when welight the candles. What will that sly devil think offor a present? Some sort of diplomatic success forsure. He just keeps ringing up those internationalvictories. Kind of reminds me of the 60's. Maybe hewill bring the latest Che t-shirt sales volumereports. Can't get enough of that shit I'll tell you.I wish I could really trust this guy but he's so youngand wasn't around in 59 I just can't let him into theinner circle, or at least what's left of it. Gosh let me think of when was my best ever birthdayparty? The one time I was in Moscow? Ah no who canenjoy your birthday when so far from home? Althoughthe KGB boys sure knew how to make a guy happy. Iwonder if those broads they had at the party reallyvolunteered to come or where they really whores. Ohwell no more trips to Moscow for me. I know my lackey Juan Almeida will be coming as usual.Boy is it great to have a token Negro around. Andespecially one who has been with me since the Moncada.Isn't he just one lucky dude? The little prick justkept bugging me all that time up in the Sierras, always hangin around, trying to cook me dinner, shining my boots and looking for local campesino girlsfor me. Hell he almost broke the radio shacktransmitter for radio rebelde. Couldn't find a Batistasoldier for the life of him (although to be truthful Inever saw one up close until we started blowing theirbrains out in January 59). I finally had to make him acommandante of a column just to get rid of him. Andhad to make him a big hero afterwards so everyoneknows that this revolution really is non racist. Hecertainly is no trouble now and I'm glad to have him, even though he couldn't ever have the guts to blowanyone's head off.Speaking of guts, maybe I better call Raul soon andhave him send out the order to all the prison camps, work camps, child reform centers, aids quarantinecamps and what the hell. all the camps, reform centersand anyway Raul knows the list. I can't be expectedto remember all of them and what we call them thesedays can I? Anyway what was I thinking? Guts? Oh yehguts. Raul can send out the order for an extra rationof chicken guts for everyone as a special gift on mybirthday. Gotta remember to call him. What palace ishe staying at these days? What palace am I in rightnow? Oh what the hell, does it really matter? Speaking of chicken thought the maximum Jefe as heshook crumbs from last night gently out of his beard.I sure am glad our friends up at Tyson foods and allthose other low production cost operations up in thestates can now send us all that cheap frozen chickenat such a low cost. Sales of chicken has skyrocketedin all our foreign currency stores. And margins (isthat what those economic ministry people call it,Margin? must have something to do with profitsalthough I can never say that word can I since it's socapitalistic) are way up they tell me. Only twoproblems with the whole thing one of which is thebastards make me pay up front. I can't believe theywouldn't trust me and let me ride a month or so onthese invoices. Oh well I have all those liberalfriends up there who can keep hammering on the wackopoliticians and get that changed some day. I just knowthat once that happens we can find all kinds of waysto rack up those outstanding balances (you know I lovethat phrase "outstanding balance" because thosebalances really are that) with each supplier and thencome up with all kinds of capitalist catch words torenege on the payment and then look for anothersupplier. It's worked well over the years and allthose suckers out there just keep shipping to us. "Ohwe had some real quality issues on the last fewshipments, Spoilage is over 20% on every shipload".Etc etc. and that's good enough to break the contractand start up fresh with someone else. These guys justdon't get it. I guess cause I'm the only one that cancome up with that unique little way of doing business.Secondly the other problem is what do they call it?Slippage?Yeh that's it, slippage. If you ask me I call itstealing from the revolution. Why can't they stop allthis stealing. I asked for a study a few months backabout the difference between deliveries of all therotten half spoiled chicken we don't sell at thestores and send out to the neighborhoods to give outto the proletariat. I figure if I can find out howmany tons are delivered and how many are given out inthe daily ration books then we can see what thedifference is. Well what do you know the reports cameback and they say somehow 20% is not accounted for. What the hell is going on here.? We spend good moneyfor that chicken and 20% of it never makes it out tothe revolutionary populace? (even though chicken isonly sent out a couple times a year, on my birthdayand the 26th of July) Some people have told me thatthe local gang at the distribution centers and thedock workers and the delivery guys, not to mention theregional warehouse staff and who knows who else arestealing a percentage for their own consumption or foractual sales to others. Well all I can say is Ipersonally have the pulse of this country right hereand I know that can't be happening in a trulyrevolutionary country like our great republicespecially since we pay those guys over 300 pesos amonth each. Can you imagine it? Over 300 pesos each? Iremember when a good salary was 75 pesos a month. Wellmaybe I can't really remember that but I know it'strue anyway. I know the Russians always warned me ofthe possibility of theft but I know that Cuba is muchdifferent and this would never happen here. I guess what I should do is call Randy and see if hecan get this issue out to the public on Roundtable.... On second thought maybe that isn't such a goodIdea. I really better calm down here and not bethinking about these negative thoughts or my bloodpressure will go way up and who knows what will happento my cholesterol. Might get so high not even PPG willbe able to bring it down.Anyway what was I originally thinking about? Oh yehchicken. Makes me wonder what's for dinner at theparty. You know last year I figured we would try andactually get the meal catered by one of the fewremaining Private restaurants out there. Boy was thata shindig let me tell you. What a great meal and sowell prepared and we made sure they had top qualityingredients and plenty of poison testers trying thestuff out before it got to me. It's too bad I had toshut all those restaurants down though. You know itwould be nice to have a little private enterprise outthere because I know that the average Cuban is a hardworking person and it sure was good PR. But hey whenthese bastards start outselling our state runoperations and all the tourists are flocking to theseoperations we just had to put an end to it. You knowI still remember the unpaid invoice to that restaurantfrom last year. I think it's still sitting on my desksomewhere. (Need to clean that desk this week) I guessI'm pretty sure that the owners would just as soonforgive the invoice as a gesture to the revolution andwhat a great world we have made for them and theirkids. I'm sure we have shut them down by now but heymaybe we have an opening in one of the kitchens at oneof the palaces for those people. Have to check on thatwhen I remember.Oh now I'm in such a better mood I have to think aboutthe wonderful entertainment for the evening. Gosh it'swonderful to be me. Every musical group or danceensemble or whatever just can't wait to be invited toone of my parties to perform. Even though it disgustsme personally maybe we will have some group for theyounger crowd. Lets see last year we had who was it?Cubanos? No that's not it. Oh yeah Cubanito.Personally I couldn't stand em but they sure went overwell. You can be sure that bitch Gloria ain't going tobe here. And none of those other ungrateful musicians(or sports stars for that matter) that have opted torequest asylum in other countries when we allowed themout of the country. You know it really galls me about these pricks. Wegave em a great education, plenty of resources tostudy or train 18 hours a day at the regional sportstraining facilities. We even fed them beef once aweek. And anyone earning any medal (even a lousybronze) at an Olympics was even given a car no morethan four years old and a nice boost in their rationcards. We even got them on TV and we would dointerviews with their parents while they werecompeting in some distant foreign country and madesure they saw the interview so they were reminded ofwho would suffer if they stayed. All of this and someof these ingrates still do it. They stay. Then thecapitalist pigs start making big money asprofessionals and even spend part of their money onfast cigar boats out of Miami to come and take theirfamilies in the middle of the night. I simply can't believe it. After all we have done forthem. You know that's one of the worst things about myjob dammit. I know I have to let these people out ofthe country so we can prove to the world what greatartistic and athletic abilities we have. And stillthey betray me. Oh well with all the little cubanosout there and more of that profit from Tyson foods wecan afford to increase our training budgets by a fewpesos. Speaking of that I need to make sure to get a meetingorganized with all national and regional CDR leadersand make sure they know about the latest budgetincreases I'm planning for them. Now I know that someof them might be a little dismayed when I tell themthat 90% of the increase will be going for the lineitem Chivatos (or local spies for those of you whodon't know about our really neat little system ofacronyms and interesting sayings here in Cuba). But Ijust need to convince them that increasing thisprogram really pays off in a revolutionary way. Thesechivatos we have been recruiting are really comingthrough for us big time. I'm sure most of you knowthat internally we generate mucho dinero from oursystem of Multas or fines. Well I know the majority ofyou don't like getting a parking ticket or an IRSinterest fine or something like that. But everyoneneeds to know about towing the line in society. Whatthat means is we can't have any violations of any ofour societal regulations (almost every one of which Ipersonally came up with after all). No some of you maythink it a bit unjust to fine people for things likehaving some foreign guest stay in your home. Well thisis one of our most important rules. Even if that guestis your son in law you absolutely have to come down toimmigration and register that person (and pay the 50$fee). Why you might say? After all this is a familymember. Well if you have to ask that question youstupido then I'll tell you. If we were to just letanyone just do things like invite friends to stay withthem then just think of the havoc that would bewrought. Well first of all neighbors would get jealouscause for sure your son in law would bring stuff likesoap or probably jeans or maybe even new shoes for thefamily members. We can't have this kind of jealousygoing on in society. Well you may ask well if I paythe registration fee this would still happen and I'llbe out 50$ to boot. Well Ok I admit you are right butwe simply need to attach some type of monetary valueto this type of special privilege that the governmentis giving you in order to maintain order in society. And besides which you know that that 50$ will end upback with all the neighbors anyway in some form. Nowit might take a few years to filter back but it will Ican assure you, just take it from me that this is thetruth. You trust me after all don't you? Anyway back to the Chivatos. Now as I've said thesepeople are really helping us out. Now as I'm sure youwould agree that anyone who would spy on theirneighbors for a few pesos is some kind of horriblecreep or worse. Personally I can't stand them but youknow Batista had them and our Russian pals helped usrefine the system and what about POLICE INFORMANTS?Yeh, bet you didn't think about that did you? Name meany country in the world that doesn't have PAID POLICEINFORMANTS? You can't name one can you? So of course as one of the third worlds most civilizedand well organized countries we have probably withoutdoubt the most well organized system around. Now tokeep the system going it costs most of the profit fromTyson and even all the profits from our world renownedmedical clinics for foreigners where our doctors arewell reimbursed (relatively speaking of course) forconvincing stupid foreigners that they need a backoperation when a couple of Advil's would do just aswell.I don't know why I said that as it's supposed to be asecret, but hey I trust that you can keep that oneconfidential. Ok now where was I anyway? Oh yeh local spies. Anyway if you still are notconvinced let me just run down a few of the law andrule violations we uncover using these chivatos. Thisway you can see that these offenses are grave anddeserve punishment even if your country doesn't seemto think so. I'll also give you the dollar amount ofthe fine so you can see we are not taking advantage ofpeople. (maybe jail if you are a smart ass too)Having a household appliance in your home without a receipt from our government stores Loss ofthe appliance and 50$Admitting you will not attend a rally Where Raul is coming to speak No fine, first offensebut socially ostracized for sureNow I could go on and on with more examples but I amsure that as a rational person you would wholeheartedly agree that probably thepunishment doesn't fit the crime in these examples and should actually be much higher. When Ithink about it I'm softening up a bit in my advanced age and really should review thesefines and adjust them up for inflation. (Did I say inflation? We have no inflationin Cuba, any price increase is definitely Caused by the embargo)Anyway I'm sure some of you skeptics out there aresaying things like $1,000 for having a Foreign guest in your home? Can that be correct and ifso who pays the fine the Cuban or the foreigner? Well now I'll let you in on a littlesecret. Guess what? Now remember who comes up with these laws and fines. I do that's whoand being the sly devil I am after all I put mucho thought into these things. In thisparticular case who pays the fine? Well they both do. You see in this example the Cuban gets thefine and if they don't pay we come in to the home (well of course not me personally, I'mmuch to busy do that sort of work) and snatch anything of value up the $1,000. If theydon't have it we take the house. How's that for an incentive to pay? Anyway what normallyhappens in this case is that the foreigner feels so bad about the thing that they paythe fine for the Cuban. How's that for a gimmick huh? Now we actually havethe rule I believe (and if we don't Ill order it up starting tomorrow) that we could fine theforeign tourist as well and you can be sure we pull them in for a nice scary chat will aColonel in immigration but we simply tell the tourist that in this first offense for them wewon't fine them but unfortunately we have to fine the Cuban in order to maintain social orderyou can understand that can't you?Our success rate on this gimmick you might call it ishovering around 86% where the foreigner pays up. In the other cases we sometimesreduce the fine for the Cuban or if they are belligerent you can be sure we take everything.Anyway we really don't want people just staying with friends. If that happens all overthe place how the hell our we going to support our hotel business anyway. Do you think we arethat stupid? Of course not!!And to make things fair in case there was some type ofmistake or something here's what we do. First of all we do not make the citizen gothrough the unnecessary expense of hiring a private attorney to defend themselves or appeal. Whocould afford that or why is that needed? We allow the person to appeal the decision. Theysimply have the right to go back to the original person who issued the fine andappeal. In this case the Colonel, and explain why they are not guilty. They have a whole 48 hours todo this. Fortunately this works very well except in the case where the colonel has toattend a conference in another part of the country and will not be back for 72 hours. And withall the economic problems we have had to face because of the embargo we seldom haveconferences out of town. Now if the colonel is sick for three days well that's anotherstory but with our great medical system hardly anyone ever gets sick so that is veryunlikely. I'm sure you would agree that this system is much better than anything acapitalistic country could ever come up with. And to prove my point we have done studies and youknow what? 98% of these original decisions are upheld on appeal. That's right, 98% ofthe time the original person who gives out the fine upholds his or her original decision onappeal. Now if that isn't almost perfect than what is? And you know what in the other 2% of thecases we find out that the person accepts a bribe to reduce or eliminate the fine. Youcan bet in these cases justice is served I can assure you. Enough of this OK? Any imbecile cansee that our system is as close to perfect as is humanly possible. Ok so your probably saying ok in this case how muchdoes the informant get? Well the answer is as little as possible but enough to givethem the incentive to keep doing it ofcourse. We have reams and reams of statistics over theyears on what is the correct remuneration for these valuable services. Right now inHavana we pay about the equivalent of 4$ per verifiable information that results in afine. In the outlying cities it's much less of course. Supply and demand right?Well what about the case where the informant justdoesn't like the person and makes something up about them? Well I guess you got me on that one. Now I know thatthat tactic worked really well for us during the glorious revolution. I have to admit weused it by giving Batista anonymous tips about actual Batista supporters we didn't like andhiding 26th of July armbands in their houses. When they were searched and the armband wasdiscovered the person would conveniently disappear. Those damned Batista peoplewere so paranoid they never stopped to investigate. Hah hah hah. That's a good one isn'tit?Anyway if this were to happen (and I seriously doubtit) we would find out later that the person was innocent. I grant you it would take about ayear or so since we are extremely busy people. But anyway think about it this way. Beingin prison is very similar to being in the army here. So if the person hasn't done theircompulsory military service yet (and sadly we get so many more juveniles committing crimes thesedays) being in prison for a year or so is simply a warm up for their militaryservice. And you can bet that these people will have a leg up on their colleagues in the militarywhen they get there for having been accustomed to the prison. Also they will have no bodyfat so their rigorous physical training in the military will be that much easier. Okso if it's someone older who has served in the resplendent Revolutionary Armed Forces of Cubathen the prison life will be a great reminder of the fun they had in the military so yousee why would I personally not be worried about this type of situation. Everything worksout for the better in the long run. Believe me I know. Ok I hope you are satisfied and have no furtherquestions. You know I really did not intend for this to be some type of interview situation. Iguess that the more I ruminated about my wonderful life by looking in the mirror the more mymind started to wander and these questions started to pop up. And we all know I'm onehell of a talker so here we are. But you know I'm a bit fatigued with all this and I haveso many things to consider, and today of course is my birthday so give me a break willya and let me go take a nap. And then for sure I simply have to go down stairs and findout what palace I'm staying at and make that call to Pedro. Or was it Raul? Oh mierda,I'll talk to you again next year. You can be sure I'll be here. There really are so manyimportant issues we have not discussed. And I didn't even get a chance to talk about my goodbuddy Hugo Chaves. Oh well next Year then and if I'm not around talk to Raul will ya.Yeh I know he's not as interesting but he remembers everything and I've taught him a lotover the years. Whatever you do don't go trying to interview Almeida. Leave the guyalone will Ya. Ok goodbye. Now where the hell did I put thattelephone dammit!!

Dissidents Targeted Again

From Euro News

In Cuba, opposition figures have been targeted by protestors preparing to celebrate Fidel Castro's 79th birthday today. Hundreds of people demonstrated outside the home of leading dissident, Vladimiro Roca, in response to the Cuban President's call to block opposition activity. The angry crowd called Roca a "lackey" on the payroll of the United States.

You've lived another day, your life's shortening!

So, tomorrow's your birthday.... One day less of having you around, one day closer to my big bang party! And I am really glad that now you're at a point on which your life gets shorter and shorter with every day that goes by. You're nearing the end, and I love it. A stupid old man sweating in fatigues that inspire mockery, no more fear... A ridiculous babbling wrinkled ass. Reapeating yourself to death. To death, that sounds great. Even if your doctor Salman Hussein (is he related to -the soon to be sent to hell- Saddam?) says that you can live 120 years, yeah, because you're a sea turtle! You look like one sometimes, I have to say that your physician got that right. Go put your balls inside a rice cooker, old crapper. Everybody is invited to write a birthday message for this sleazeball!

The other side

Today is one of those days... hot and humid.
I was just going about my business, and suddenly, I happened to be in front of an old cemetery. Sometimes the sight of one very little element brings back to you a whole story, that unfolds in your mind in ways that only a good movie can. By contrast, the cemetery I happened upon was one of those small plots that you find in Manhattan. It brought back the memories of black and white photography in the huge monumental cemetery of Havana, el cementerio de Colon... and how I spent time there with some of my friends, wandering -and wondering- about the cemetery. The conversation will always go to the same statement: this is the only place were Cubans are free. A country where to be free you have to be dead or have left the country... go figure... The cemetery of Havana linked with the memories of a pizza parlor in the same neighborhood. The kid that used to work there doubled as a lead guitarist in Metal Oscuro, a great metal band in Havana. He played a lot of Joe Satriani and Steve Vai in that small parlor. Imagine the scene: one guy with rock star bravado baking the pizzas and the riffs going through the customers' brains -and some of the customers really enjoying that. Back to New York, pizza sounds like Satriani and Vai. It doesn't recall the tarantella or other old Italian tune, not to my ears, no. It recalls the fretwork of two guys from Long Island. Then there are places in Havana that sound Frank Sinatra all the way. And places in Hoboken that sound like places in Havana. Which took my mind to the musicians in the NYC Subway. Move over, selfcentered celebrity, you're no pundit. Y'ain't more than a houndog! Those street musicians are something else. They don't have it soft and cushy but they're not trying to play politics, they are trying to play music! Mick, please, shut up and sing dude. On that same walk, I looked into the storefront of a (still closed) second hand bookstores which is a treasure trove, like all second hand bookstores. And I saw an old movie poster with a fading sign, Baker Street. That was the radio show I used to listen on KAOY! Baker Street. So now suddenly, second hand bookstores have a Blue Oyster Cult ring to them. I was an accidental tourist during my whole life in Cuba. I had missed my plane out. It was like one of those absurd movies in which a foreigner is constrained to a place, and he needs to learn how to live and survive in it. The interior exile was a way of life, the inxilio. Until one went out, like crossing to the other side of the looking glass. On these days, I remember a lot of my life there. For example, when I was in one of those infamous programs of study and work and the guy who mounted gard on us was a crazy commie who looked like a chain gang guard, right out from one of those prisom theme movies from the Deep South. He was a stern guy under a wide brim hat, with aviator shades, gun, on a black horse. Where the hell fourteen years old could escape too? Cuban teens of my time lived all the fantasies of escape movies... And most of us did escape, and now we enjoy the Delta Blues of the soundrack. The most interesting thing was to arrive here and recognize smells, sounds, views that we supposed that existed somewhere and to find that they were real. How can you have nostalgia for something that you don't know, for a country you have never visited? I felt that many times. And I don't know the answer!

Ziva asked for a series....

And I am delivering... Enjoy!!!!

Under The RadarBy Oliver North August 12, 2005
Our beloved mainstream media are complaining that President Bush is spending too much time at the "Western White House" in Crawford, Texas. Their stories about his "vacation" make it seem as if he's not doing a whole lot. But a closer look reveals that the president is working hard -- the Fourth Estate just doesn't bother to cover what he's really doing.
For example, last week, the president's meeting with Colombian President Alvaro Uribe attracted little notice from the masters of the media. Colombia, locked in a drug-funded civil war, now stretching into its 41st year -- has lost nearly a quarter of a million people to the conflict since 1964. The pro-American Uribe -- a strong ally of this president -- is committed to ending the scourge of illegal narcotics which is fueling terrorism in the region -- and beyond. But he needs help.
"The great enemy of Colombian democracy is terrorism," Uribe said in Crawford. He praised the Bush administration and the American people for their assistance, which he described as "exemplary." While observing that Colombia has "made progress, and we are winning," he also cautioned that "we have not won yet."
One of the reasons Colombia has not won yet is because the narco-terrorists who are doling out the mayhem and murder in Colombia are finding refuge in Venezuela, with whom Colombia shares a 1,300 mile border. The near-dictatorial regime of Hugo Chavez in Caracas has granted the guerrillas a safe haven to launch attacks against Colombia. This, coupled with last month's launch of the new Chavez propaganda channel called Telesur, has caused growing concern in Bogota and other democratic capitals in the region. Telesur, it should be noted, is a "joint project" of the socialist governments of Venezuela, Cuba, Uruguay and Argentina.
When Chavez is not competing with Al Gore in launching new television networks, he is busy increasing his military troop strength and making unprecedented purchases of arms. On his shopping list: MI-24 attack helicopters, 100,000 AK-47 assault rifles from Russia, coastal gun boats and a fleet of troop transport aircrafts. The purchases have caused great concern in both Bogota and Washington and may have emboldened Chavez to step up his rhetorical assault on the U.S.
This week at the 16th World Festival of Students and Youth, dubbed "Against Imperialism and War," the Venezuelan strong-man called the U.S. the "most savage, cruel and murderous empire that has existed in the history of the world." Later in his lengthy diatribe, Chavez expressed his support for Iran's new president, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, saying he expects to continue strengthening relations and that Venezuela, like Iran, is a country that has been "attacked" for many years by "the hand of imperialism."
After telling the 15,000 young people assembled at Venezuela's Central Military Headquarters that "socialism is the only path," Mr. Chavez told the students their collective goal should be to "save a world threatened by the voracity of U.S. imperialism." According to the new Telesur Network, the students "celebrated by waving flags, dancing in traditional dress and wearing berets commemorating Ernesto 'Che' Guevara."
Though the whole scene was reminiscent of Fidel Castro's finest moments, not everyone is laughing at Chavez's flair for the dramatic. U.S. defense experts note that the Venezuelan military hardware spending spree is largely funded with petro-dollars and that at $60-plus per barrel, there is no shortage of cash in Caracas. At the U.S. Southern Command Headquarters, there seems to be little amusement in the Chavez regime's new-found affection for communist China and Iran. And in Managua, supporters of Nicaraguan democracy and free enterprise are deeply concerned for the support -- political and financial -- that the Venezuelan tyrant is providing to Daniel Ortega.
The Chavez "Bolivarian Revolution" has become a confusing stew pot of rhetoric and repression. He has alienated his main trading partners; transformed a once professional diplomatic service into a socialist cheering squad; and has purged political dissidents while providing material support for terrorists. His threats to slow or cease oil exports to the U.S. may seem hollow to some, but others remind us that Venezuela produces more than 16 percent of the crude oil we consume. A quick trip to the gas pump -- and the prospect of a cold winter -- should suffice to focus the attention.
Come November, the press may look back at the Bush-Uribe meeting in Crawford and the cemented U.S.-Colombian partnership as their lost opportunity to document an important milestone in U.S.-South American relations. By then the western hemisphere's leaders will be gathered for the Summit of the Americas in Buenos Aires. The Argentine summit will be a great opportunity for the Bush administration to enlist serious help from our South American neighbors in the war on terror and the administration's passage last month of the Central American Free Trade Act (CAFTA).
How important is this platform for western hemisphere cooperation? Important enough that the secretary of state has shaken up her starting roster for Latin American foreign policy. Ever since Sept. 11, U.S. diplomatic efforts south of the Rio Grande have been eclipsed by events in the Middle East and Southwest Asia. Petty tyrants like Chavez have capitalized on our inattention, fomenting discontent, abusing human rights and creating uncertainty about American resolve. Hopefully that will change with the arrival of Tom Shannon, a close colleague of Secretary Rice from her days on the National Security Council staff at the White House. It's high time that our own hemisphere was back on the radar screen.

The Guns of Hazzard

Provided for your amusement, laugh track not necessary.
Dukes of Hazzard’ used in Gitmo interrogations
By Andy Borowitz Jewish World Review
Human rights groups protest use of Jessica Simpson film
Human rights groups around the world cried foul today amid reports that the movie version of "The Dukes of Hazzard" is being used by interrogators at the U.S. detention center in Guantanamo, Cuba.
According to reports, Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld arranged for a private screening of the film at the Pentagon in mid-July and determined that it could be a powerful tool for extracting information from enemy combatants.
Over the weekend, when "Dukes" appeared on over three thousand screens nationwide, it also appeared in at least twelve interrogation rooms at Guantanamo, playing on a nonstop loop.
"We have never seen anything like it," said one Guantanamo interrogator, speaking on condition of anonymity. "About ten minutes into the film, the prisoners are already willing to talk."
But even as interrogators praised "Dukes" as a welcome addition to their tactical arsenal, human rights groups such as Amnesty International blasted the U.S. for using the film, arguing that the practice could be in violation of the Geneva Conventions against torture.
"We see the use of 'The Dukes of Hazzard' as part of a larger pattern of abuse," said Amnesty International spokesperson Jean-Claude Guinod, noting that the U.S. had used the film "Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed" at Gunatanamo in 2004.
At the Pentagon, Secretary Rumsfeld categorically defended the use of the "Dukes" film, telling reporters, "Don't think for a moment that if the enemy had 'The Dukes of Hazzard' they wouldn't use it on us."

Landmark Decision Overturns Cuba 5 Convictions

If any of you think that this overturned decision is based on law and not on prejudice against Cuban Americans, how I ask, can you come to that conclusion. And so the PR has started, these poor mistreated Cuban spies, convicted because of those evil caSStro hating Cuban Americans.

An interview with that great communist lawyer Leonard Weinglass, one of the attorney's representing the spies, courtesy Amy Goodman of Democracy Now.

The deafening thunder of silence

My eardrums are safe.
We have the big issue with the five terrorists on kagasstro's payroll about to go free and I still have to hear the first complain from our cadre of Cuban American celebrities. Good thing that God gave us bloggers. Eat crow Al Gore, you did not invent the internet.
The soap box is there, in the middle of the public plaza with no one on top. Well, bloggers are at home firing off, but the visible heads are nowhere to be found or heard, are they becoming invisible by any chance? Are they sending letters to everyone in the press and the White House? Are they picketing the court in Atlanta? Please let us know.
On the other hand, one finds all sort of celebrities pulling for their favorite causes and I can't believe that those recognizable voices are absent at this time. Well, they have to live with their conscience. Or so. Are they in sinchronicity with the main stream media? I know this is a taboo subject, but they need to do something to earn the respect of their public, otherwise, well, they are no different from any other wacko in the entertainment world.
The soapbox is there. Or here. Use it.

The rats abandoning ship….. LUIS ORTEGA

Luis Ortega is a Cuban writer who must be about 200 years old. Up until a year or so ago I had heated debates with his son who used to post on Soc.Culture.Cuba newsgroup all of his father's Pro-KaSStro tirades. He even thretened me with reporting me to the FBI , because I once wondered how was it possible his dad was not hanging from a lamp post in La Calle ocho since he kept insulting every memeber of the "Cuban Mafia"

Ortega was a RABID PRO-KaSSTRO fag.(actually he was well known in Pre_KaSStro days as a rabid homosexual - who in a crosslover mishap swore he would comit suicide with his homosexual lover by drownng themselves , but at the last moment he chickened out, the other fellow died) Happily lapping away at anything that dripped from KaSStros Depends
I personally reported him to the FBI when he arrogantly admitted to be one of the chosen guests to KaSStro’s New Year’s party in 2004. I asked HOW, did he get there and especially HOW did he get invited to an event where only 500 CLOSE people had been invited? I never heard from the FBI.

I also requested to know how Radio Miami was on the air. It broke several Homeland security regulations, in fact it actually advertised as one of its sponsors "Agency Cubanacan" . A Kuban tourist company.!

The FBI in Miami were TOTAL pricks about my call , pretty much they told me to mind my own business (I have your badge number and name Lady so... watch you ass) . Ortega used to be a feature contributor of Radio-Miami. He no longer is listed in the roster of lameculos

In the last 6 months Ortega has been doing a motherfucker of a 180 . This is the third he has done in his less than illustrious career as a mediocre writer. He began Loving KaSStro, then he Hated KaSStro and Called Che a consummate assassin then he went back to loving KaSStro and hating the USA, and now….
Today’s Ortega’s article in the Diario La Prensa is

“It is Time for Cuba to be Free"

My Dad showed it to me and I almost got whiplash on the second take I did!.
A couple of selected quotes:

“As Castro has opened the eyes of Latin America as far as independence is coincerned to the rest of the continent, Cuba has been a beacon of hope for these countries IN SPITE that the island is unyieldingly dominated by Castro and has spent more than 46 years under the most horrid dictatorship of any other country in the continent”

Another pearl out if this article:

"Perhaps the countries in South America, those who have benefited with Castro's confrontation (with the USA) have not FULLY realized that Cuba has lived ALL of these years under the most brutal dictatorship that has ever existed in America""

He admits in the article he personally “Likes” the Beast, but he feels the guy has had it , that he drools in his speech ( I guess he had a “sit down with KaSStro, and the SUMO just kept vomiting shit) .

To quote him

“He (KaSStro) , gets entangled in his own words , the compass ain’t pointing north, My first indication that his faculties were in question were when he started aimlessly talking about the three poor kids that had been executed for trying to steal a boat. He was visibly consternated by such barbarism. That should speak well of him but .. it points that his is a wandering mind”
It will be worse a if he insists (as he promises) to last 50 years in his uni-personal government”
It is time he turns all the freedom back to the poor people of Cuba”

So, what is happening ? Ortega was by everyone’s account a paid mouth-piece for KaSStro in 6 months he has become and advocate of a KaSStro FREE CUBA.
Did this prick find God , or did the checks just stop coming in ?

Liars and Hypocrites

Last week in Atlanta African Americans celebrated the 40th anniversary of the Voting Rights Act. The usual commie hypocrites showed up for this and took advantage of the occasion to bash President Bush and racist America.. Harry Belafonte, Jesse Jackson, Maxine Waters, and friends. You know, those staunch upholders of civil rights and democracy? Of course not if you live in Kuba because caSStro is the greatest human being they’ve ever met.

And then there’s this, which shows just what lying hypocrites they are.

(CNSNews.com) -- Conservative African Americans Tuesday slammed liberal black activist Dick Gregory for referring to a Cybercast News Service reporter as a "white boy" during a nationally televised cable news program Monday night. Gregory later apologized for the remark.
The exchange took place during the "Hannity & Colmes" program on the Fox News Channel. Gregory and Cybercast News Service Senior Staff Writer Marc Morano discussed comments Gregory made during an Aug. 6 march in Atlanta commemorating the 40th anniversary of the signing of the Voting Rights Act.
Reading from Morano's article, co-host Sean Hannity asked Gregory to confirm whether he had made a number of controversial remarks during the event.
The activist readily acknowledged that he had referred to Republicans as "white racist thugs" and called the United States "the most dishonest, ungodly, unspiritual nation that ever existed in the history of the planet."
But, when Gregory hesitated in his responses, Hannity turned to Morano for confirmation.
"You don't have to confirm what I said," Gregory charged. "I've already said it. So I don't need no white boy to come on and say yes, he said it."
Surprised by Gregory's reply, Hannity repeated, "No white boy? No white boy?" and asked Gregory if he wanted to apologize to Morano for calling him a racially charged term.
"Yes, I apologize for it," Gregory replied.
"Well, I was already called a black tyrant by [Harry] Belafonte yesterday, so I welcome whatever Mr. Gregory wants to call me," Morano said in response.
While the rest of the interview went amicably, leaders of two black conservative organizations Tuesday were sharply critical of Gregory's remarks -- both during the interview and at the earlier event in Atlanta.
Rev. Jesse Lee Peterson, founder and president of the Brotherhood Organization for a New Destiny (BOND), said the reaction to Gregory's "white boy" comment showed that America has a double standard in this area of race relations.
"Just imagine what would have happened if Morano had called Gregory a 'black boy,'" Peterson said. "They'd be protesting Cybercast News Service and Fox News Channel, calling for the heads of the presidents of these organizations.
"But because Dick Gregory said it to a white man, it's okay," Peterson said.
He added that "we have a double standard in this country today, where black liberals can do and say whatever they want" because whites "have allowed themselves to be intimidated" by the fear of being called racists.
Mychal Massie, a radio talk show host and member of the black conservative group Project 21, agreed with Peterson, telling Cybercast News Service that Gregory's remarks provided "an unambiguous display of overt black racism."
Massie's disdain extended to the Atlanta event, which he called "a pep rally for hatred." He was also critical of many of the participants, including U.S. Rep. John Conyers (D-Mich.), Rev. Jesse Jackson, U.S. Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Calif.), actor Greg Mathis and singer/actor Harry Belafonte.
"Combined, these people have a greater aggregate income than some third-world countries," Massie said. "How has America hurt them? How have they been injured by what's taking place in America? And where are their ideas and solutions?"
Peterson also criticized what he called the "so-called rally" in Atlanta to extend the Voting Rights Act.
"Whether this act is confirmed in 2007 is not going to make a difference whether blacks go out to vote," he said. "Blacks aren't voting -- not because of the lack of opportunity -- they're not voting because there's too much apathy."
Peterson charged that the real purpose of the event was for groups like the NAACP and the AFL-CIO to begin a campaign for the 2008 presidential election. He also claimed its organizers "have used racism to fatten their pockets and maintain power. And now, they're going broke. They're desperate to get back in power."
Gregory is also a hypocrite, according to Peterson, for castigating the United States while enjoying a successful career here. "Dick Gregory has done better in this country than he would have done anywhere else in the world," Peterson said. "I'd like to know where he could go and be able to do what he has done here."
Massie added that he believes the event was entirely unnecessary because "there's not one thing a black person cannot do in America if he or she wants to do it and is prepared educationally or skill-wise.
"To hear Jackson and Belafonte and these people talk, the only thing black people can do is shine shoes at a bus stop," Massie said. "If that's what they're doing, it's because that's what they're qualified to do, or they're not looking high enough.
"The civil rights battle is over," Massie added, "and we won."

I am eating crow and... it DON’T taste like chicken!

So I go and stick my tiny winky-do out in several Blogs detailing what a great honorable talented right winger of a man Mick Jagger is and BOOM .. The fucker gives me a kick right on the left nut.
Actually he hasn’t really said ANYTHING yet, the media is reporting he just sent President Bush a VERY nasty little message in the Stones last CD.
I am gonna quote the NY Daily News reporting cause I though it was funny..

“The wrinkled rockers (loved THAT ONE) keep putting out songs that will appeal to bald gray pony tailed ex-hippies who haven’t realized yet the 60s ARE over”

I don’t know who wrote that, but I am assuming is a young guy, with a LOT more clarity of vision that the ex-hippies of whom he speaks.

Reading the line that began the fracas

"You call yourself a Christian,
I call you a hypocrite
You call yourself a patriot,
Well I think you're full of shit"

You GOTTA admit Mick is giving it to SOMEONE, but at that point it could be directed to his bud Tony Blair.

The song goes further though.

“It’s liberty for all, democracy’s our style,
Unless you are against us,
Then it’s prison without trial.”

Well now we know of whom he speaks don’t we?.

Of course The Stones are already backpedaling like motherfuckers, apparently the Radio Media is more conservative than TV (WHO KNEW?) and songs still are mainly found on radio and not MTV. So Jagger is reportedly saying the song is NOT about Bush otherwise why would it be called “’Sweet Neo Con”

Now lately I have been having serious bouts of Bush depression . Since my main and pretty much ONLY political agenda is a FREE Cuba , I PERSONALLY feel that Mr. Bush has let me DOWN on that front. But I think he is looking at a MUCH bigger picture the USA and his handling of the country is right ON.

Now, I also know how a Mick Jagger writes a song (It is duly reported in the documentary “Being Mick Jagger”)

And he will lay down a melody line and then babble lyrics to it, if they rhyme all thye better , if they rhyme and there’s a message then JACK POT!

Now, for those with a musical ear sing the lyrics to “Sweet Neo-Con” to the melody of “Joy” (In the Goddess at the door CD) . Hmmm the meter is the same! As if Jagger had lyrics left over from Joy and had to stick them someplace.

I think that Jagger has always been intelligent enough, Machiavellian enough (he did GET a Knighthood, while Keith can not get 20 miles from Buckingham Palace) that he knew perfectly well what he was doing. Why at this point in his life, is a mystery. Maybe to piss off Keith who lives in the USA and is NOT happy about the tune (or Sir Jagger’s Knighthood). Whatever the reason, not even in the turbulent 60s did the Stones write an EXPLICIT political statement (Closest was “Street Fighting Man” and that really didn’t clearly tell a story)

In a cold calculating way, I think Jagger hit on a very nice set of rhymes (‘mon they are GREAT rhymes) and went whatta hell.. FUCK Bush!

And for THAT I am pissed. He also knows controversy sells product and for that I am insulted.

Lately he has found himself twice involved in controversial songs that could potentially damage his career “Shoot me” ( on “Goddess at the Door”) , was supposed to be a tirade against Jerry Hall and it took a bit of serious back stage Ca$h to calm Jerry down, and a LOTTA of public apologies
So, WHY NOW?

Okay, the man is 63 years old , his body may look GREAT for a 63 year old but his brain is farting like that of a 63 year old.

Has to fucking kill him that Bush is 3 years younger than him! Years ago I read someplace that you know you are REALLY old when the president of the USA is younger than you!.

And it just may boil down to that. Bush is the leader of the free world and Jagger, well Jagger can not get Keith to quit smoking!

At any rate, Mick you lost me on this one babe, I am not burning any CDs or old albums, but I ain’t buying the last one. Now you “Mr. Wrinkled Rock Star” suddenly fall into the cesspool of anti-USA sentiment and for THAT you do deserve a solid and thorough trashing.
And by the way Mick … FUCK YOU!

New links

For those of you who periodically check our blog roll on the right hand side of the screen maybe have noticed a bunch of new links.

(we don't have anything to do with the left, we use the left hand only to bitchslap liberals, poke terrorists in the eye, and to hold them commies by the throat)

Among them, Parrot Check is a real treat. It was sent to us by A.M. Mora y Leon, who has always something good in store, plus tons of wit, and an incredible writing talent.
Look for it, and click on the link and you will enjoy it very much. The graphics are amazing and the writing style is a killer.

Also, please check Yoan Hermida's stories from the sandbox. His insight is very interesting and telling, with the added on value that he writes from the vortex of the action.

Enjoy!

Another reason to hate them!

Goerge from The Universal Spectator and Babalu has a very interesting piece from the Los Angeles Times (on Babalu, go check it out!) about the Islamofascists using dogs as bombs. They know that Americans love dogs. They know that hungry Iraqi dogs love Americans since they feed them. So the poor animals get strapped with bombs in order to kill GIs, the children that Americans are also feeding and who have taking a liking to dogs, and everyone else unfortunate enough to pass by in the moment that the dog comes in for a treat. At that point, some sorry ass goat molester will make the dog explode, with a remote control device. They have done that with mildly retarded people, Down syndrome sufferers, donkeys, and now dogs. Maybe the idiots that are willing to sacrifice themselves with hopes of getting laid by the seventy two whores dressed as virgins in their fucked up (per)version of paradise are becoming scarce.
Now, my question, many of the lefties are PETA babies. Where is their outrage?
Or is it that us right wingers are the only ones who care about Iraq, Iraqi women, Iraqi children, and also about Iraqi dogs?
That old camel and goat molester, pedofile, wife beater, and animal abuser of Mohammed said it all. According to him, Allah said that dogs and pigs were dirty. Because those terrorists are clean! Fuck Allah, the dog hater. Piss a Muslim, adopt a dog. Make a dog happy, kill a terrorist, pay in kind since they are killing dogs in the name of Allah.

Havana Nights

That's the tagline for the invitation to the fundraiser of the Sleaze master himself from the Democratic Party in New York City, the party of vice, where a slime ball like Ted Kennedy is a hero, and someone like Bill Clinton is a celebrity.
A Victor Armando Bernace, a hopeful racist bigot from that Party in the section of Washington Heights promises a night of boozing and a Sexy Exotic Dance Show, with some of the NYC best dancers/girls (quoting straight from his invitation), titled Havana Nights, in his fundraiser at a spot called Umbrella in NYC. The big bang sleaze fest is to be conducted on Sept 8th, 2005, which is the day of the Patroness of Cuba, la Virgen de la Caridad del Cobre, in an effort to add insult to injury. So we Cubans are a bunch of erotically charged dancers who support the democratic party. according to the predicament of this leftard. That Victor guy has a lot wrong in his brains, in the case he ever had has one. Which I doubt.
The price is 20 bucks for slime ball who choose to attend, and this price is subject to be raised at the door.
This is the real Party of Kennedy and Clinton. A disgusting anti-Cuban prejudiced party for the party of filth. Shame on them, the pricks. Now you know why they want to go to Cuba to meet jineteras and pingueros, homosexual and underage prostitutes while going anti-embargo and one on one with some communist official. I am sure that all the kagasstro supporters in the city would be waiting on line. A good opportunity for the FBI to identify traitors, moonbats, and anti-American elements, I guess.

Missing In Action - Cojones

I'm very lucky; in my personal life, the men I know are principled honorable gentlemen who fight for what is right. I wish I could believe this was true of our society in general. But based on recent news items and comments in the blogisphere, I wonder where all the real men are. On one side, we have communist traitors selling out our country for discredited ideologies, payola, and jinteras. On the other we have the idealistic, uneducated, foolish, spoiled, politically correct man about campus who never met an animal they didn't want to hug and who are incapable of making the most basic moral decisions when it requires discerning right from wrong. What the hell happened? I see two primary problems. Rejection of traditional religious values which spawns politically correct moral relatism, and the end of the draft. Which of these problems is the easiest to correct? And, by the way, where are the real women who marry men and raise sons? Too busy being feminists at the expense of your families?

Why dont we just bend over and make the sodomy easier for them?

Court overturns Cubans' spying convictionsTue Aug 9, 2005 4:54 PM ET.

MIAMI (Reuters) - A U.S. appeals court on Tuesday overturned the convictions of five accused Cuban spies and said pervasive prejudice against the government of President Fidel Castro had prevented them from getting a fair trial in Miami. The U.S. 11th Circuit Court of Appeals in Atlanta ordered new trials for the "Cuban five" convicted in 2001 on conspiracy and espionage charges.

Just fucking PEACHY!. Why is this even been discussed? What the FUCK does a "jury of their peers mean?" Now they will be judged where? In some god forsaken place where when you say Cuba, they’re thinking "what Cuba ?oh that nice black actor, with Tom CrAuise?".
This is just more than insulting; this is such an affront to both the city of Miami the judicial system in Miami and the people of Miami. It is JUST too bizarre to even accept as reality.
Fuck it man, we are DOOMED if we keep at this in the USA. Fuck getting rid of KaSStro we need to get rid of half the judges in the USA and THEN think about KaSStro.
Is the president allowed to veto this stupidity?, can ANYONE with a modicum of a set of COJONES go to this judge and shove a fucking broom up his ass?
We are a country AT WAR and we are advocating for the rights of spies?
Home work guys! lets find more info about this court of appeals in Atlanta and inundate them with OUTCRIES of sheer indignation.
I can NOT believe that our YANOMAS MUST begin in the USA.

Terrorists about to go free

George from Babalu brings this piece of news describing what is certainly an outrage and a partial birth abortion (more than a miscarriage) of justice. Five spies from Cuba are having their conviction overturned and the judicial system is giving a victory to kagasstro by virtually making these five terrormongers into innocent victims!!!!!

Peter Jennings - Legacy of Deceit

This is what the MSM is telling us:

NEW YORK - The last trustworthy American was born a Canadian.
“Peter Jennings became an American citizen in 2003. But before that, he was an honorary American, one of the small handful of people we went to for the truth. And he came through. He never lied to us. He always gave it to us straight.”

Everyone from Barbara Walter to President Bush are offering up tributes to Peter Jennings. The truth is he was an anti-American Canadian who looked upon Americans with disdain and never met a dictator or terrorist he didn’t like.

On Elian
“In Miami today, immigration officials met with the Miami relatives of Elian Gonzalez again, and once again the government has failed to get the kind of cooperation from the relatives that might allow the case of this young boy to end in a civilized manner that is best for him.” (As we know, the government was never on the side of what was best for Elian. )

“Beyond the questions of custody, the Cuban-American community in Miami has always argued, almost every day in fact, that Elian Gonzalez would have a better life here in the United States than in Cuba. It’s been argued before, and there’s not a simple answer.”

On Cuba
“Medical care was once for the privileged few. Today it is available to every Cuban and it is free. Some of Cuba’s health care is world class. In heart disease, for example, in brain surgery. Health and education are the revolution’s great success stories.”

“Former President Carter made news in Cuba today. Mr. Carter is the first President to go to the island since the Cuban Revolution led by Fidel Castro more than 40 years ago now. And, after all these years, Cuba is still a sensitive subject for some Americans. Just before Mr. Carter got there, one of President Bush's political appointees to the State Department said that the Cuban government was involved in producing biological agents.” (He was of course referring to John Bolton, who was discredited by a state department report that Cuba posed no threat to the United States. This report was based on information provided by Ana Belen Montes who was later convicted of spying for Cuba.)

"Castro has delivered the most to those who had the least," declared Jennings on the April 3 World News Tonight, "And for much of the Third World, Cuba is actually a model of development."

Crime and punishment

We all know about crime and punishment, and how the one who commit the first well deserves the latter. We have discussed in this page how the best punishment for a living kagasstro would be to be reduced to the meager life of a deranged mendicant and subjected to the public mockery while surviving as a homeless crazy old man eating from the garbage.

Sharks in The Desert

America is a land of immigrants. My ancestors were from Ireland. On my Mothers side, they came here circa 1850, escaping the starvation of the potato famine. My Father was born in the hull of ship early in the 20th century. His mother, my grandmother, died before they reached Ellis Island. My Father was left at an orphanage, my Grandfather was supposed to return for him but no one ever heard from him again.

This country was built by immigrants, people made of tough fiber and clear vision. It's very telling that the unwanted and undesirable of other nations have to a large degree provided greatness to America. There's another group of immigrants. They come from closer to home, our neighbors from the south. Desperate people from Mexico, Central and South America, and Cuba.

The Cubans are political refugees, escaping the horrors of a communist totalitarian state. Against odds of 4-1 in favor of the sharks, they risk everything for freedom, especially for their children.

What about the others? Especially the Mexicans? I live in Los Angeles, as I have most of my life. This is a fight I've been having for years. This is what I hear. They are illegal. Criminals who have broken the law. They are here for the social services, they send it all back to Mexico and they don't pay taxes, their kids are in gangs committing crimes. We should deport all of them. And so, it goes, on and on.

My daughter’s best friend, since they were girls, is from Ecuador, this friends Mother is from Columbia. Their mutual best friends family came from Mexico. These three girls are in their late twenties now. They finished high school, went to college, and are good productive members of society. And they are still best friends. I am very good friends with one of their Mothers. In fact, it was a suggestion from her that led me to my love for the Cuban exile community and my activism on their behalf.

I have always been convinced that everything is political. I argue against my normal political persuasion that illegal immigrants who risk their lives to come to America for economic reasons are also political refugees. If you have no hope of feeding your family or are not afforded any opportunity beyond the abject poverty you were born to, how is that not political? There are massive problems with illegal immigration. As an Angelino, I experience it everyday. But, there is much that is good as well. In my opinion, the good outnumbers the bad. They are my neighbors, a couple of former bosses, co-workers, and everywhere in the service industry. They are also, some of my friends and relatives. I don't have an answer or a logical opinion on the issue of illegal immigration. I'm too close; have to many personal relationships that cloud my usual cool impartial intellect so I'm not pretending to offer any argument on the issue.

I have no love for the LA Times. If anything, it's worse than the NY Times. But this broke my heart.

Blair Speaks .. The White House should listen.

In typical “Political correctness can kiss my very white British ass”.
Tony Blair came swinging and unapologetic last week and threw this to the press:
“The Rules of the game are changing. Coming to Britain is NOT a right and staying here carries a duty to support our values.
This was “interpreted as saying that Britain will “begin throwing out Muslims tied to terrorism”. If you read deeper into it, the real message is “You know Muslims?, you are just not going to get a Visa to come HERE, and if you are ALREADY in HERE get with the plan or your ass is back to sand and camel shit.
Now , if we could only get someone from the State department just say “ Yeah , same here fuckheads” I would be SUCHA happy Cuban.!

What we need on this side of the pond

I don't think that I have to comment on this piece of news....
I feel that we need to dare to do the same in this country, immediately:
LONDON (Aug. 7) - Islamic militants who have voiced support for the bloody July 7 terror bombings in London could face charges of treason, the Attorney General's Office said Sunday.

More Pastors For Piss

From their website:
August 3 is the 17th anniversary of the founding of our project Pastors for Peace. It is also the 75th birthday of our fearless (and prophetic) leader Rev. Lucius Walker, Jr. We remember the days when Pastors for Peace was new; it was conceived as a special ministry to the victims of US foreign policy. Look how far the project has come since its founding! Surely we have organized 50 caravans by now, to Nicaragua, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Chiapas, and of course to Cuba.

That's right. We're the bad guys and this group goes on what they term "caravans" to make sure the world doesn't forget it. Right now they are campaigning to get the computers released. You know, the ones confiscated from them, the ones they say are for Cuban school children. The troops are being rallied. Here is a list of contacts they are asking everyone to call to pressure the Bush Administration about the computers. I like the idea of using their list for the opposite action. Let them know that you support the confiscation of the computers because they are weapons that were being passed to the government of an enemy state, a country where private citizens are not allowed to own computers. Here's the list:

PLEASE CALL the Cuba desk at the State Department, 202/647-9273.

PLEASE CALL Jayson Ahern, assistant commissioner for field operations at Customs, 202/344-1620.

PLEASE KEEP CALLING Michael Turner, director of export enforcement at the Commerce Department, 202/482-1208, ext. 3.

PLEASE KEEP CALLING CONGRESS. CALL YOUR SENATORS AS WELL AS YOUR REP. (Congressional switchboard: 202/225-3121) As you talk with sympathetic offices, let us know the names of the aides you are talking to, so we can put them on our email update list and get them more involved in our campaign! (Good idea, a list of officers sympathetic to caSStro. )

You can send their contact info to Ellen Bernstein at ellenb@igc.org.) I sent her the following email:

Are you aware of the fact that in Cuba private citizens are not allowed to own Computers? That Cuba is an enemy of the United States and that computers are considered a military weapon? You are a traitor. How do you sleep at night or look yourself in the mirror, knowing that you actively support a dictator responsible for tens of thousands of murders, hundreds of thousands imprisoned in gulags, and the utter devastation of Cuban and her population?
How can you support a dictator who actively supports world terrorism and the destruction of your country?
One day, Castro will be gone and the long-suffering Cuban people will remember who his collaborators are.

Ibrahim Ferrer, In Memoriam

Mora from Babalu brings us the sad news of a legend passing away. Ibrahim Ferrer , in memoriam.
The photograph was taken by Eniac, it then was obtained from the internet by "our man in Havana", who kindly submitted it for the blog. Thanks!
Note: "our man in Havana" is not Eniac.

Why are we in Iraq?

Because we are the only ones who are men enough to defend and protect their women!

Spy vs. Spy

The "cure" for one of my magazine "cravings" in Cuba was "fixed" by reading some of smuggled issues of MAD. That was the non plus ultra, guys. Amazingly good cartoons, with series of which you couldn't get enough! MAD also get me an edge on American English, far from the starched English that I was learning at the time.
MAD magazine featured a Cuban cartoonist that fled Cuba in 1960 or 1961, Anthonio Prohias. He was a star on his own right at MAD magazine with a series called Spy vs. Spy. It was about the feats of two spies, the Black Spy and the White Spy who would endlessly put all sorts of weird tricks on each other. In some installments the series was called Spy vs. Spy vs. Spy, and the third character was the Lady in Grey over whose affections Black and White competed fiercely, to no avail. Many years after, PepsiCola bought the rights to the cartoon, and licensed them for commercials for its brand Mountain Dew. Take a look at Spy vs. Spy! Download and enjoy!

Hug a Terrorist

As we all know, Oprah is all-wise about all things. She shares her wisdom in her magazine each month, telling us how to live and what matters and what's right and who and what to care about. In the June issue of her magazine, Oprah has a story that truly shows how delusional she is. It's the story of Yusra Abdu, an 18-year-old Palestinian. "A wonderfully frivolous teenager," "A happy girl with an optimistic smile." Oh, by the way, Yusra Abdu wanted to be a suicide bomber. According to the article in Oprah, she was a girl with "velvety skin" who did it all for love. And, of course, because the Jews made her do it. Indeed, the article's headline is "Love and Terror,” and the introductory paragraph refers to Yusra as "one of the youngest casualties of an unending conflict." Catch that word "casualty?" Yes, according to Oprah, this young woman, who the article says has an "overfull closet of clothes, whose doors are layered with posters of handsome Arab stars," is a casualty. Why? Because she's now serving a 15-month sentence in an Israeli jail. Why? Because she was planning to murder Jews, not that the article would ever use the word murder. Only in the strange world of the Palestinians, and evidently Oprah, is someone who is setting out to kill innocent people, actually the victim in the whole thing. That she evidently fell in love with Hani Akad, the top man in the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine in the city of Nablus, as they were planning her mission, makes her all the more the victim, according to Oprah. Oh by the way, Akad, an explosions expert responsible for many suicide bombings and on Israel's most wanted list of terrorists, is referred to by Oprah as a "charismatic young rebel." And that indeed is the tone of the entire article with every Israeli military operation "bloody" and every Palestinian a victim. Take this one very representative paragraph. "The Israeli crackdown since 2000 has been overwhelming. Entire cities at times have been sealed off interminably; infrastructure such as electricity grids and roads routinely interrupted or destroyed ... Israel justifies these maneuvers by saying they were necessary to reduce the number of suicide bombings, which spiked in 2002 and have declined dramatically since."
Unbelievable. It doesn't note that the reason they have declined is not because the Palestinians have stopped trying, but because Israel has been forced to take the measures it has. Much worse, however, not once mentioned in this article is the fact that Israelis have been murdered in almost daily terrorist attacks in the last couple of years. And if you want to talk about young victims of this unending conflict, how about the 10-month-old Israeli girl killed while sitting in her stroller and all the other Israeli victims of suicide bombings, young and old, including pregnant women and children eating ice cream cones. No, to Oprah, the victims are the suicide bombers, not those who have been killed by them. Not once does the article raise the question of what kind of society not only breeds but venerates suicide bombing, nor whether suicide bombing can ever be justified as a means of political expression. And while the article says the Israelis and Palestinians are equally to blame for the failure of the Camp David peace talks in 2000, even though President Clinton has said the failure was all Arafat's, somehow only Israel is to blame for the Intifada that followed. I could go on and on showing how unbelievably skewed this article is. When Oprah decides to venture into the Middle East situation among her articles on "the non-diet diet" and "surf, sand and cellulite," it's to paint the picture of an innocent young Palestinian teenage girl who is in jail just because those big bad Jews got all nuts about her wanting, just like her master terrorist boyfriend, to blow up as many Jews as possible."

"All that it takes for evil to triumph, is for good people to do nothing."

Quotable quotes

Ziva, KillCastro and myself have been exchanging e-mails about personal histories... Somehow KillCastro's and my own childhoods were marked by a very humble and powerful symbol. What we read. And among what we read, there were magazines from the pre-kagasstro era jealously guarded by our families. In the sixties in Havana, if you were a bona fide, hard core "gusano" you've gotta have your hidden stash of good pre-kagasstro magazines. Like Selecciones. The Reader's Digest in Spanish! If you had them in English and they were used as reading material for your underground tutoring in this language, then that was a proof that you were really a "gusano"! They usually were hidden in closets or under mattress or in any other unlikely place. Then you had all of those greatly designed Cuban publications, like Carteles which I preferred to Bohemia. Why? Bohemia actually invented much of the myth of kagasstro and sold that myth to the population, along with the NYTimes, that yes, could be bought in Havana at that time too.
There were also foreign magazines, like Carta de España, who was distributed by the Spanish Embassy to all Spaniards residing in Cuba. That magazine talked about the realities of Spain, and all of us with an Spaniard ancestor received those magazines who were circulated among friends (even my black friends have at least a Spanish grandparent!). The epitome of chic was to have a contact inside L'Alliance Francaise and so you would get Paris Match. Today, people rent their magazines out, and get paid top dollar for that. There are people in Havana who actually have collection of magazines in different languages that are circulated for a fee. Industrious people on one side, and curious people on the other side that are willing to pay for they free world information fix. Why am I talking about magazines? Well, "Selecciones" has a section that is called Quotable Quotes... Today I was talking to some confused soul who was for the peace at all cost in the Middle East. My reaction was: "Me too, peace needs to be achieved... through superior firepower! Send them to meet Allah and peace will reign!" A gentleman, who was sitting nearby me and the other person, offer his memories on the spot. He was a veteran from WWII and he quoted General Patton, and I want to share this with you: "Nobody wins a war by dying for his country, one wins a war by making the other bastard die for his". That's what I call a universal and monumental truth. The great generation teaches us valuable lessons everyday, and that's my quotable quote of the day!

POLITICS 101 - PART 2

Okay, one thing I did NOT cover on the first part of this little essay is the extremes of LIBERAL vs. CONSERVATIVE politics
Noone likes to be classified as an extremist (I personally don’t give a shit) but analyzing the final destination of a path gives you a very good idea what you may find on your way there.

The extremes of LIBERAL & CONSERVATIVE politics may surprise, specially the CONSERVATIVE side. That one is a shocker.

The LIBERAL agenda will naturally lead you to Communism as its extreme manifestation.
Yes LIBERALS will swear on everything that is sacred (to them) they are NOT Communists. And they may well NOT be, but their destination is that of Communism.

The CONSERVATIVE extreme is anarchy! (Surprised ya didn’t it?)
The simple reason is that the Anarchist advocates complete an utter freedom from government. Each person for him/herself.

Anarchy in its purest and original form did not mean revolution but it meant lawlessness. An anarchist wont pay taxes, why should he? He doesn’t believe there should be a government! Hell he doesn’t believe there should be traffic lights!

Fortunately for us, most politicians fall somewhere in the middle of the extremes, and this would be the IDEAL society.

The USA, regardless of which political party sits in the White House, falls somewhere in the middle of the spectrum. It swings one way or another, accordingly to presidential leanings, but by not more than a couple of degrees.

That is what attracts foreign capital to the USA. Foreigners know it is the safest place in the world to keep your cash. The checks and balances built into our system of government assures us that things will be copacetic ! Yeaiha!

Okay with THAT outta the way we need to look at politics as a whole and when we do, we realize that there is still an aberration that we need to discuss, and that is the dictatorship, the despot the tyrants!

A tyrant is akin to cancer insofar as cancer does not know when to stop. It is quite ironic that when we look for eternal life, when we look for a way to stop the ever decreasing life span of cells we find CANCER!. ‘cause that is what Cancer is; cells which refuse to die! NASTY stuff!

And that brings us to a totalitarian state.

I must admit this theory I am putting forth first came to me from a very unlikely source, a comedy routine by Eddie Izzard. When I heard in comedic form it is utterly hysterical, when you sit back and analyze it is utterly chilling.

First we must think of political beliefs not in a linear fashion but as a circular modal behavior.
To illustrate this, visual aid would be nice, but right now I am just too lazy to do it so…
Draw a circle on a piece of paper and look at it as you would a wall clock (an ANALOG CLOCK!) A more accurate representation would be by degrees but you will get the point.

Looking at our political model MIDDLE OF THE ROAD politics (TRUE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD POLITICS) is marked by the number 6.
Right there at mid bottom.

Now the LEFT side of this clock represents the LEFT wingers the RIGHT side of the clock represents the RIGHT wingers (the sane ones, as far as I am concerned).

Now the USA political spectrum covers the area from # 5 to # 7. We swing one way then the other but we can be pretty much found sitting around those numbers. Our constitution sees to that.

Now as you climb YOUR side of the political spectrum, as you become more extremist the LEFT WINGER numbers increase, the RIGHT WINGER numbers decrease.

This climb is a very dangerous sign that shit is about to hit the fan.

Once a politician reaches from either side the # 12 the ultimate result is a totalitarian state.

On a totalitarian state all of the balance achieved as a middle of the road dogma disappears, the lines between RIGHT & LEFT also disappear.

What began as a LEFT wing movement (NAZI GERMANY for example) reaches the zenith of extremes, and its label as a RIGHT or LEFT wing entity is obliterated. Yes the government in power may maintain an official governmental line, but it is just propaganda designed to appease the people who, by the most part have been deceived into totalitarianism.

We need to also take into consideration how CLOSE to this feared #12 a government gets.

I have lived under both RIGHT wing and LEFT wing dictatorships, Spain & Cuba.

Spain was a dictatorship under Franco for the simple reason that Franco did not hold election and anti-government dissent was barely tolerated. But, the Spanish people came and went as they pleased and economically Spain FLOURISHED under Franco’s dictatorship.

Cuba on the other hand is a totalitarian state (smack on the dreaded 12) because ALL rights of the individual are abolished. “ALL WITHIN THE REVOLUTION” what a horrible, despotic statement!

Only under Stalin and Mao, such brutality and control has been experienced by a nation. Even within the abhorrent dictatorship of Saddam Hussein, Iraqis could easily emigrate and enjoyed a healthy economy.

So there you have it THE FULL CIRCLE of the political gamut.

If you are reading this then you will know my political leanings are hovering somewhat around a # 2 , so really YOUR opinion to my little essay doesn’t mean much to me ( unless you agree with me !) . Does this make me a RIGHT wing despot? , probably. Lucky for some nation I am not running a country.

POLITICS 101 - PART 1

For those of you who understand this stuff, I have a GEMINI ascendant. What that means is that my multitasking skills are VERY good and my range of interests border on the far side of plain weird. Which means that any given time I am thinking about a million different things totally unrelated.
Last night I was on a SERIOUS political quest. Politics 101 as it were.
The evolution of politics Liberals vs. Conservatives, extremist vs. middle of the road etc.. And at the very end of the spectrum, the tyrants dictators and despots.
As everything in life there’s GOT to be a formula for this, some measurable and quantifiable blueprint, So in that quest I started by looking up the
Liberal LEFT and the Conservative RIGHT

The LEFT and The RIGHT designations are as mundane as they can be , they derive from the positioning of the Conservatives and liberals in British Parliament. Conservatives sat on the Right site of the chambers Liberals on the left. Duh!

Now, the TERMS themselves are kind of ironic , because they play on semantics and as everything in language it is within the context of the thought that the full menaing of the word exposes itself.
LIBERAL. At first glance it sounds like the ideal political view. Liberal MUST refer to liberty, right? How can anyone oppose liberty? A liberal we think is someone who will more understanding, more likely to change. More tolerant Of other peoples views.
A Conservative implies a stern unyielding stand . Status quo fighting , set in their own way political monolith.

Based on these semantics, the choices are clear. But... No so fast Skippy.

The ORIGINAL meaning of the terms derive from LIBERAL as a spendthrift, devil may care , financially irresponsible politician who will LIBERALLY embark into projects and causes that would seemingly be commendable, but that would be financially unsound for a countries economy. A LIBERAL will spend LIBERALLY. He will worry about paying later.

The answer for their irresponsibility, MORE TAX , MORE GOVERNMENT , MORE CONTROL. Totally and explicitly the contrary of what their designation would indicate. A LIBERAL stand will appeal to the populist mind. In all societies the population will always tilt towards the ones with LESS. Appealing to this group is easy. The LIBERAL doesn’t care how he will build 50 hospitals and 500 schools; it is NOT within their conceptual thinking. The LIBERAL will squander billions of dollars on welfare support but frown at the very thought of forcing someone to go to school and learn a trade. The LIBERAL mind is that of a slave master. Feed them and keep them dumb.

The LIBERAL needs the weak, and for that purpose they will FORCE weakness on people. They will seem to defend ethnic groups, homosexuals, be against gender discrimination etc. In order to comply with this agenda you naturally need MONEY, and their source of money is TAX.
Big government is the LIBERAL’s foundation (rather contradicting isn’t it?) . John Kerry and Ted Kennedy are typical examples of this aberration. They will set Committees, study plans for social change, promise EVERYTHING they feel is right , but will never feel obligated to deliver it.
Taxing the rich is a favorite ploy of the LIBERAL. When a John Kerry and a Ted Kennedy advocate for MORE tax for the rich , we must assume theirs is am honest agenda , after all THEY are rich !
But unfortunelly it is NOT hat simple, the rich will remain rich regardless of taxation. The rich have the wherewithal to find shelters, and corporations and off shore accounts that will assure their wealth remains god damn near intact REGARDLESS of taxing.
Let’s look at a little example:
If someone with 6 million dollars (Rich in MY book) buys 3 million dollars of tax free bonds they realize a tax free income of $250,000 a year. How many of us will frown at a yearly NET income of $250,000?
Now compound the interest at a modest 3% on the rest of the other 3 million and tax it at let’s say 50% (LIBERALS DREAM!) that adds another $150,000 to THAT piggy bank. $350,000 NET income a year! NOT BAD AT ALL !
Would Ted Kennedy or John Kerry be affected by a 50% TAX bracket? NOT IN THE LEAST!
Tax Bill gates at 70%! With 47 Billion at hand , that chunk of taxation will leave him with 32.9 Billion . No need to worry about Bill and Melinda JUST yet.
It is us the middle class who take the brunt of this LIBERAL agenda. And the LIBERALS well , they just dont't give a shit. GOTTA pay for THOSE Welfare checks buddy!.

Now we come to the CONSERVATIVES. Just a LOUSY tag. It exudes intolerance. Status QUO, hard fisted, my way or the door way kind of guy.
BUT.. as it is with the LIBERALS , the reality is totally different from the semantics.
A CONSERVATIVE will be fiscally responsible, a CONSERVATIVE will rather teach you how to fish that give you the fish. A CONSERVATIVE rather see you be a productive member of society than a burden to society. A CONSERVATIVE will advocate for as little government as possible, thus reducing spending thus reducing taxes.
A CONSERVATIVE will TAX Mr. Gates 20% of his income and give him mayor incentives to provide jobs for those people the LIBERALS are supporting on welfare checks. Once unshackled by his dependency on “Social Support” a man’s moral value and self worth increases. His chances of success improve. His children will see an example at home that will instill in them a sense of FISCAL RESPONSIBILITY. Work produces wealth , granted we are not going to all become Bill Gates , but even at the smallest of levels a man who has become a productive member of society WILL benefit that society. A small business man (my local Dry Cleaner for example ) will do more for my neighborhood than all Social Programs a LIBERAL's mind can come up with.
Now, you ask , what about the infirm , the elderly the unwed mothers etc. Well here is where the CONSERVATIVES get out of the way and let the likes of the Bill Gates of the world help out WITHOUT government intervention.
Take a look at what Bill & Melinda Gates do WITHOUT the government forcing them to do it
http://www.gatesfoundation.org/default.htm.
I know I am talking about extremes when I cite Bill Gates, but even a couple making $80,000 can take advantage of a CONSERVATIVE view on taxes. Contributions to charities are 100% tax deductible and the government doesn’t FORCE you to do it, your conscience, your HUMANITY prompts you to help your fellow man.
So in a nut shell we see how LIBERALS and CONSERVATIVES function as far as ideologies are concerned.
I will let you decide WHICH is more beneficial to society in general.
I will have a PART 2 of this little essay. This will take us to the boundaries of political aberrations and how both RIGHT & LEFT extremes will invariable lead to dictatorship.

Pit Bull

Let me introduce y'all to Pit Bull.
Aggressive style, fast paced hip-hop and NO FEAR.
Y'all know that I am not the hip hop type, that I am a rocker. I admire many things in Pit Bull and one of those things is the strength of his voice against kagasstro and his brave words, specially when many stay silent, thus making themselves into accomplices of the tyranny's crimes. Read his opinion about kagasstro, the che-t's and more in his interviews. He knows first hand.
Go Pit Bull!

Key phrases to take down a tyranny

The phrases that are going around in Cuba besides of "ya no mas" are "ya basta", "basta ya", and "esta bueno ya". The meaning is the same, but apparently they like the stressing of the phrase "basta ya" for being phonetically speaking a bit more explosive. According to my source, some graffittis are apearing with those variances of the same concept.
The important part is that the fear is lost. There's no fear and no respect for the tyranny and those phrases are circulating as some sort of linguistic currency of change. There's a movement in Cuba that will topple the tyranny, and that's going to happen sooner than later. The repression has increased, but the resistance has increased too.
This is unstoppable!

From today's headlines!

"New Yorkers Sue Over Random Bag Searches
Along With a Rights Group, They Call the Policy a Rights Violation"

Whomever refuses to be searched should be put in a plane to Iraq or Afghanistan and then be left there to fend for his-herself in the midst of a bunch of bloodthirsty terrorists. To see what they do to them once they discover that the stupid liberal happens to be an American.
If the person in question survives that, well, then he-she should be judged according to the laws in the books, because obstructing national security in times of war is just and plainly TREASON. They are facilitating the operations of terror groups and sleeper cells by distracting the police and getting into arguments about supposed rights, we are at war, what part of this don't they understand? I can't stand these stupid liberals!
Another idea is to cart them off to Guantanamo Base. Let them rot there.
Or they might as well be sent to Berlin, where they are putting one big statue of Lenin back. Take note, we will have to go and defend Europe at any given time now....

Holy War

O nations of the crusade alliance, we proposed that you at least stop your aggression against the Muslims. The lion of Islam, mujaheed sheikh Osama Bin Laden, may God preserve him, offered you a truce to leave the house of Islam.
Has sheikh Osama Bin Laden not informed you that you will not dream of security until we live it in reality in Palestine and before all infidel armies leave the land of Muhammad, may peace be upon him? Ayman al-Zawahri, August 4, 2005 as shown on al-Jazeera

"The Islamic sharia is the right religion and anything else is wrong and rejected, including the constitution. No human being is allowed to legislate laws which are the right of God alone," "Participating in drafting legislations and the constitution is equal to infidelism and blatant polytheism. Whoever believes in it or calls for it or rules by it is an apostate and an infidel."

"What you have seen in New York and Washington, you Americans, and the losses you see in Afghanistan and Iraq — despite all the media blackout — are merely the losses from the initial clashes."

While the main stream media is falling all over itself criticizing our government, while the stoned out peaceniks are organizing protests, while Jane Fonda is stocking up on Vegetable Oil and preparing her words of comfort for the enemy, while all the apologists for these blood thirsty godless hordes are calling for tolerance, they are planning our demise. No appeasement will end their jihad. There is only one way to stop them. This is war, not waged because of territorial disputes or natural resources, but in the name of religion. “ Leave the house of Islam" They are not just talking about Iraq and Afghanistan and "Palestine". They mean everywhere Muslims live, including America and Europe. By our very existence, we defile Islam. We are the infidels, sentenced to conversion or death.

To all you appeasement minded lefties out there, sorry to interrupt your comfortable head in the sand life but this is not going away. We are going to have to fight to the death this evil. It's us or them, there is no other choice. Understand? So get your head out of your ass, your loyalties straight and stop criticizing the government that is the only thing protecting your treasonous neck from the sword of Islam.

Gracias Alejandro!

As we uncover those who have served as cultist, propagandists and willing apologists of KaSStro’s barbarism (Cuban or otherwise). I think we also need to point out those who have put their careers on the line and have forcefully spoken on our behalf. Those who have seen first hand our suffering and it has inspired them to sing about us. To tell the world about our plight, in short to call it as it is without worrying about career repercussion
As a Cuban I think Carlos Varela (www.carlosvarela.com) has given an example to all of those other “Cubans” who timidly issue some anti-KaSStrist statement but NEVER take a stand.
Varela’s words are POWERFUL, he sings to “las dos orillas” (both shores).
He has the opportunity to be a zillionaire with massive play in both Latin America and Europe , but he chooses to stay in a humble home in La Habana , because “THEY ARE NOT GONNA SHUT ME UP” that my friends THAT takes COJONES.

The other man, and someone I feel ALL Cubans owe a tremendous debt of gratitude is Alejandro Sanz. A Spaniard whose heart has been touched by our suffering
There is no explaining why this young man has taken such an interest in Cuba, the Cuban people and our plight. He flatly condemns his countrymen who go to Kuba to fuck a 13 year old. He directly asks of KaSStro to LEAVE

During the 2003 wave of brutality, Alejandro was promoting his latest CD in Miami, and someone asked him what he thought about the situation in Cuba, one of his PR persons interrupted saying “This is NOT about politics”
Sanz, in NO uncertain terms retorted , "YES IT IS and I WANT to talk about Cuba".
The rest of the conference was an eloquent condemnation of KaSStro’s abuses.
So , here it is to both Carlos Varela and Alejandro Sanz
For those who speak Spanish, here’s a link to the lyrics of Sanz's powerful, hunting and beautiful song to MY city MY people and MY Country.
“Labana”

Mucho metal, rocking the waves

Somehow, blogs are to the mainstream media as Mexican radio was to the puritanical radio stations of the sixties in the Southern US, and by extension, to the kagasstro controlled radio of Cuba. When I was a teen, I always listened to KAOY from Little Rock, Arkansas for my metal fixes. I also listened to some Renegade-American operated radio stations just south of the Texas border, and I recall that the "on-air" catchphrase of one of them was "Mucho Metal".
That is what a powerful Russian radio was good for, a Selena. Since the Soviet Empire was so big they needed powerful receptors to make sure that their subjects had to listen to all of their propaganda communiques. In Cuba, on the other hand, it worked really well and in reverse: from Little Rock Arkansas, to Trenchtown, in Jamaica, we had it all covered! -that's why kagasstro hates powerful radios and powerful computers in the hands of the people.
Blogging is the same, we take a liberal (joke, joke, joke) invention (hat tip to Al Gore inventor of the Internet) and we turn it all around. Thus, nowadays, we represent the same alternative as opposed to the mainstream media and if this blog had a musical opener it would be Antena Head by ZZTop.
Nothing better than to have a hearty breakfast and then blog when your mussings take you this way....
Or blog with your breakfast on hand.
I am all for the hazardous stuff: jalapeno or habanero chilis mixed with grilled cheese wrapped in a flour Mexican tortilla. Add whatever else you might want to that wrap. From frijoles refritos to meat or chicken, with tons of hot sauce or "live" chilis. Down it with an old classic, equal parts of very cold beer and chilled orange juice with a splash of lime (well, you can also splashed it with rum or tequila in addition to the lime) in a salt rimmed glass. Now go blogging and you're set. Don't tell me that it's not a great Texan inspired rocker's breakfast. Nothing compares to having Texan food behind enemy lines while you're pulverizing the liberal media.
Have y'all noticed how liberals want to impose on us their tofu and granola and all sort of bland stuff? Why? Because like state controlled media, bland food is bad for your brains. It makes your cerebral cortex soft. It dimishes your intellect and makes you into a dummy. Just like elevator music. Or an article from the NYTimes.
Let's rock the waves, folks, mucho metal in this blog!

The enemy within

As y'all guessed, I am blasting the mainstream media and press. Today, I go out onto the streets and the first thing I see is a newspaper header: "First NYC cop killed by sniper fire in Iraq". FIRST. Do they wish there are more NYC cops killed after this hero? What the fuck is that?
The press, specially in NYC, has taken sides already. They are against the country that guarantees them freedom of the press and freedom of speech. Maybe they don't deserve it. They publicize all enemy actions, while not talking about the sacrifice of our soldiers. They comfort the enemy and they are resounding boxes for the enemy's own propaganda and misinformation efforts. As we couldn't get enough from Al Jazeera.
The main weight of the MSM's articles and Iraq related op ed pieces are about how many real patriots have been killed by terrorists in Iraq. Well, they don't call our soldiers real patriots or heroes, and they refuse to call terrorists terrorists, they prefer to call them insurgents, rebels and so other nicer names to hide their real nature. That way they are taking the side of our enemies. Thanks God for all of our fellow bloggers in the military! Visit Yoan Hermida's Iraq blog, and you will get the real face of the Iraqi war. He fires only with live ammunition, tracers to be precise, lubricated in pork lard, so be warned that you are going to see a great blog.
We are at war. I know it's difficult to notice since economy is bouyant, unemployment is low, real estate is high and we are consuming at high rates, from chewing gum to gas to home theaters and tons of pizza, not to talk about the enormous increase of productivity in all industries. Compare that to the situation right after Sept. 11, 2001. We don't feel the effects of the war thanks to the dedication of our women and men in uniform in the battle fronts.
We need to implement the same policies that were in place during WWII. Closed lips don't sink ships, and all the other slogans that adorned those classical posters of those times. Too bad that NYC galleries seem to prefer communist propaganda, maoist posters and sometimes, kagasstro's and adolph's own desinformation tools as their "Art" of choice.
Let's say thanks to a soldier.
Let's say YA NO MAS to kagasstro. And YA NO MAS to terror. And YA NO MAS to the left and their motormouths in the media.

REAL MEN READ "VANIDADES"

Okay so I do read my wife’s girly stuff, Glamour, Elle , HOLA and Vanidades (That’s an offshoot of "Vanity Fare" in Spanish.
So there I am looking at Angelina Jollies tats (Tattoos ya pervos) , and BOOM I see an small article
"Cuba; in the beginning”
Hmmm ... Beautiful women, great recipes AND HISTORY! Now THAT is a magazine. Who needs Popular Mechanics!

So here's what Cuba had - This is what KaSStro had to save us from:

1) The First public railroad system in Latin America in 1837. 11 years before Spain itself and only second to France in the whole of Europe. (man we were going places!)
2) In 1889 the first public street lighting system in Latin America (we had things to see!)
3) in 1900 the first Electric Tram system (we still had places to go , we just needed to get their faster!)
4) The first printing press in Latin America 1723 (we had things to say & read)
5) The first Black & White TV in Latin America (1950) and the first in Color in 1958 with three full time color channels (we had things to see , and we wanted them in LIVING COLOR)
6) The First commercial flight in Latin America La Habana /Key West 1913 ( Granted, not a long one , but now we not only had places to go in a hurry , now we needed to FLY there )

So how the FUCK have we regressed to pre- 1837 in 46 years?
Man, it takes talent to be THAT fucking stupid, but ask the "cultists" they will give you some circular logic KaSStroSpeak ditty which you then can shove straight up their sphincters.

A Religious Test?

The Constitution of The United States of America - Article VI.

All Debts contracted and Engagements entered into, before the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be as valid against the United States under this Constitution, as under the Confederation.
This Constitution, and the Laws of the United States which shall be made in Pursuance thereof; and all Treaties made, or which shall be made, under the Authority of the United States, shall be the supreme Law of the Land; and the Judges in every State shall be bound thereby, any Thing in the Constitution or Laws of any State to the Contrary notwithstanding.
The Senators and Representatives before mentioned, and the Members of the several State Legislatures, and all executive and judicial Officers, both of the United States and of the several States, shall be bound by Oath or Affirmation, to support this Constitution; but no religious Test shall ever be required as a Qualification to any Office or public Trust under the United States.

John Roberts confirmation hearings are about to begin. By all accounts he is well qualified for the position for which he has been nominated. The democrats, hiding behind their fake flag of tolerance and liberalism, are uncomfortable with his views on abortion. Are they basing this on his record in the court or on written or oral statements? No, it's his religion. Both Mr. Roberts and his wife are practicing Catholics.

Will the Democrats on the Judiciary committee, which includes Sens. Edward Kennedy of Massachusetts and Patrick Leahy of Vermont, also Catholics, reveal their true intolerant anti-American agenda by violating Article VI of our constitution in their quest to uphold Roe vs. Wade?

Satisfaction

Y'all know that I write a lot about music being part of my daily "white noise" that keeps my sanity going in a place so full of leftists like NYC....
Well, I was coming back home, with so many old tunes by the Stones brewing in my head... An occassional Rag Doll by Aerosmith was also present, and so was Paranoid, nothing like good ol'Ozzie...
Then, what is inevitable in NYC materialized. An old fart ex hippie college professor type was there, wearing his stinkiest che t-shirt. Across the street from me. Like when an enemy appears in your crosshairs, it was like that!
I yelled at him: "hey you, asshole, the one with the motherfucking assassin in your stinky shirt", "you craphead, asshole, get the fuck off the streets with that shit, that's another ADOLPH HITLER what you have in your stupid t!". Being NYC NYC, everybody around were Jewish. When they heard the similitude with Hitler they started yelling at the guy. What a glorious feeling guys!!!!
I felt like I had done my deed of the day, getting some liberal asshole off the street. Well, I was pushing my luck, or so I thought... A big black guy, like about 6'10" and 500 pounds was turning the corner with another che t. I was not about to lose face in front of my cheering crowd. And I said to myself: "The visit to the plastic surgeon is gonna get leave me really broke" But I told you, I couldn't lose face! So I went ahead and I told him: Yo! WHADDAFUCK ARE YOU DOING WITH THAT T WITH A RACIST CRIMINAL IN YOUR CHEST????? The guy reacted well, as in "WHADDAFUCK DO YOU SAY YO HONKIE? DAT DIS GUY WAS A NIGGA HATER?" And I say yes, in MY COUNTRY he feared black people but tortured them to death, killed them unarmed in the shooting squad, and in AFRICA he massacred them, in Congo! TO MY SURPRISE, I WAS STILL ON ONE PIECE. NO BLOWS TO MY HEAD. I WAS PINCHING MYSELF TO SEE IF IT WAS TRUE. Now he was looking at my eyes, "Do you have a book yo playa to see that?" And I said that's BARNES AND NOBLE right on there on Lexigton and 86th (FONTOVA SAVE MY LIFE PLEASE) The guy ripped his t to pieces and started stomping onto it on the side walk, I WAS ALIVE AND STOMPING ON HIS T WITH HIM!!!!! He shook my hand and said "Thanks, my name is Jared, thanks for letting me know that this motherfucker was a killer".
Thanks to you Jared for listening. Sorry you went home barechested.
And I continued my merry way.... hey, isn't that song Satisfaction?????

YA NO MAS

The genesis of this Blog was the inspiration given to us by BABALU BLOG. A LOT of Cubans (and NON Cubans) have awaken to the reality that is KaSStro’s Kuba through Val's efforts.

Their new effort, we feel is not only commendable but without a doubt an EXTREMELY powerful line of attack against The Beast.
With THAT in MIND we urge you to read this post at BABALU YA NO MAS.

Write it, think it, breath it, sign your emails with it, get a T-Shirt, explain to all your fellow Americans what it means to US the Cuban people.

Use it as a salutation, a good by, as a "see you later" Engrave this in your consciousness . Once you do it will organically filter to the oppressed in Kuba.
Paraphrasing Carlos Varela;
"A phrase doesn’t mean anything , but at the same time it says it all"
YA NO MAS - I HAVE HAD ENOUGH !

It is a war cry that will resonate in every corner of the Island prison , and WILL bring fear into the very evil soul of the SUMO HIJO DE PUTA.
YA NO MAS.

Yeah ASSHOLES - LIFT THE EMBARGO

My ever vigilant buddy “Eduardo” sent me this link –
http://tinyurl.com/8272f
This is not going to be a tirade regarding the ever lasting criminality of KaSStro as poignantly delineated in the article.
We ALL know that. Those of us have made a conscious decision that the only dialog we want with The Beast is to ask him his shoe size when we put him behind bars.
But to those useful idiots – and YES YOU ARE a USEFUL IDIOT if you keep complaining about this “embargo”. I don’t care how much you tell me you are against the Beast .. YOU ARE AN IDIOT! You ARE and ASSHOLE if you complain about sanctions stricter policies and new appointments that will bring and end to this reign of terror.
This post is directed to ALL of those , Cubans , non-Cubans , semi-Cubans , Cuban Americans, those pretending to be Cuban (gives them more validity , don’t ya know?) And the rest of the minions who supposedly filled with good intentions want a softer line in the fight against the Beast.
Well, we ALL know what it is said about good intentions. Good intentions work , when the outcome is assured. Change for the sake of change “Just to try something different” is idiocy to the umpteenth power. I don’t give two fucks regarding how bright you think you are, you ARE a moron. Business are not run on good intentions, Countries are not run on good intentions. Common sense, hard facts, and the courage to stand toe to toe with the enemy or competition and CONFRONT them. THAT is how you win in life. Everything else is BULLSHIT.
Give me ONE example of unilateral capitulation EVER in this world that has worked.
India you say?, well you are a BIGGER idiot that I thought . The Brits gave up India not because of “Ghandi” they gave up India because the USA MADE them give up India. Where the USA motives totally altruistic? Hell now! . Why should they be the Shepard of the misguided and get nothing in return.

Read my upper paragraph, as to how you RUN a country!

As Putnim said on 9/11/2001 the FIRST duty of a president is to protect and look after HIS/HER country, every one else be damned.

It is with utter disgust I read other BLOGs where contributors offer the most absurd of logic in order to qualify their seemingly irrational perspectives.
“The Embargo has not worked” .. And the reasoning is that KaSStro is still in power.
But let us AGAIN look at this from the USA point of view. Let us forget we are Cuban and let us look at policy making the way a USA president SHOULD. With the USA best interest in mind.

Why in HELL would the USA provide cash to KaSStro? What has he historically done with cash..? What has he done EVERY TIME he has had a steady healthy revenue stream (whether from stealing the 3+ Billion he did in USA assets or while he was hanging on Russia’s nipple).

Has the Cuban people benefited from it? Nope they have not.

KaSStro has used the cash to finance his “BIGGER DESTINY”, that of burying the USA. Now, cultists and apologists of every kind, why would you even consider extending a friendly hand to someone who has sworn his ultimate goal in life is to see you dead?
Yes the embargo may no be the most beneficial thing to the Cuban people, but the staples of what a country NEEDS to survive are making the ways into Kuba. What the embargo DOES do in a solid clear and emphatically manner is to keep KaSStro on check. Too busy trying to stay alive to export his kind of barbarism to other countries. And THAT is in the interest of the USA. End of fucking argument.

Now, let us SAY that the USA was willing to negotiate , forget the MASSIVE debt owed to them , the money it has cost the USA to deal with KaSStrism through the world ( mostly because of very myopic USA policies by the way, which should’ve gotten rid of him in 1958!) . What message does that send to the world?
Some of the ridiculous argument I have read is “Well we would be seen under a better light through out the world”

Oh REALLY? Well forgiving the African debt has not seemed to help. Sending aid (MASSIVE AID) to the tsunami victims has not seemed to help.

You know WHAT will happen if the USA unilaterally capitulated to YOUR whims and those of KaSStro’s dear cultist? The USA would be targeted not as an evil entity, but as weak, pusillanimous twits. The bullies of the world en-mass will begin making DEMANDS. We will be blackmailed, extorted and attacked in ways EVERY human being living within the USA will be in danger.
Do YOU for a fucking second think that if any USA president lifted the wishy-washy “embargo”, KaSStro will get on a lectern and thank the USA for this gesture? Or will he with renewed vigor claim again. WE BEAT THE YANKEES, SO NOW.. IT IS YOUR TURN NATIONS OF THE WORLD!
When YOU idiots say “WE” (the USA) have not tried, I don’t need to be hit over the head with a 2 X 4 to know that hurts. The EU tried it, more than once.. what is the result ? The result is the Barbaric actions of July 2005
Here is the message The Beast sends on July 26 2005 to those who feel like the monster is getting soft in his old age.
''acts of treason'' would not be tolerated and warned that attempts to destabilize would be confronted by the population ``whenever traitors and mercenaries go one millimeter beyond what the revolutionary people . . . are willing to permit.''
Hey what an understanding motherfucker we have here. Yes let us give him MORE power, let’s give him credit, let’s fill his cupboards with all sorts of goodies.
Let us FEED the monster!, Yeah THAT is a plan .. YOU FUCKING IDIOTS!
Let us NOT forget that the atrocities committed by KaSStro began a lot earlier than the embargo. Let us NOT forget that the embargo was NOT a knee jerk reaction to the USA dislike to “olive green” or bearded fucks.
The embargo came out of a HUGE confrontation in which KaSStro un- ashamedly told the USA to fuck off.
Lucky for him, we had a president in the White House who was more interested in fucking celebrities. Lucky for him, there was not a Truman, a Reagan or a George W Bush in the White house. Yes he has been one LUCKY prick, and you ALL advocate to send more LUCKY CHARMS his way. Idiots.
Yes it is tough, I have family in Kuba, it hurts me not to be able to send $50.00 so my sister in law can have a proper 15th birthday. It hurts me that my cousins are suffering for lack of aspirin, but is THAT the USA responsibility? Or is it the USA responsibility to maintain the USA free of threats that may jeopardize our way of life. That may turn us into a nation that WILL need aspirins !
If I can not pay my bills, do I bitch to my neighbor?. Yeah let’s hear that line of reasoning in a court of law.
“Well I did NOT feed my children, because my neighbor will not help me out “
Get the FUCK outta here, you did not feed your children because you have been squandering the little money you have lobbying the neighborhood to turn AGAINST the one neighbor that CAN help you out.
This always reminds me of the Sirhan Sirhan, hearing plea where he says
“If Robert Kennedy was alive today, he would want me to go free”
God damn it! The ONE guy that would help you get out and… you go and KILL HIM !
In the meantime, you survive by strangling your children, threatening them sodomizing their morality and humanity, destroying their will all while you point at your neighbor as the cause of all your ills.
Just on the basis of history, it is beyond compression that anyone will advocate for a softer stance.
“If USA tourism was allowed in Kuba, KaSStro would have to ...” FUCK YOU!
They keep bragging the have had the greatest tourist influx since the god damn Spaniards cooked Siboney. Where is THAT money? What was done with that windfall? How many prisoners where set free, once Tourist # 3.7 million arrived to the Island.? NOT A FUCKING ONE!
And what do the Cuban people get on the 52 anniversary of the darkest day in Cuba’s history?
MORE THREATS, MORE SUBMISSION, MORE MISERY. MORE FEAR
Yes apologists, let us be “kinder” to KaSStro. When you get a Communist Canada and Communist Mexico breathing down your fucking neck. When 90% of you tax dollar is spent in just national defense let us see where you will emigrate to next.

Trouble in Iraq

Our fellow blogger and soldier in Iraq Yoan Hermida has been deployed to the Syrian border. I just got wind of the bad news that there have been a lot of fighting in the area and that 14 American soldiers have perished in the fray of combat.
The Marines were members to Regimental Combat Team 2, 2nd Marine Division, II Marine Expeditionary Force (Forward), the military said.
One Marine also was wounded in the attack.
I wrote a little note to Yoan, and I encourage y'all to do the same and show our respect and support for the troops in the ground, remember, any terrorist they send to hell in that area is one less terrorist that can make it to our shores. Thank a soldier, if you run into any member of any branch of our armed forces when you go about your daily business.
God bless America and our soldiers. They are in my prayers daily.
As part of the trouble in Iraq a fellow blogger from NYC was assassinated in Basra, he was found dead in that southern Iraqi city. According to the US embassy in Iraq Steven Vincent had been shot multiple times after he and his female Iraqi translator were abducted at gunpoint hours earlier by unidentified terrorists, Iraqi police reported.
I don't know Mr. Vincent or his blog, but my prayers go to his soul and to his family in this horrible moment.

Cuba: Should CARICOM be tougher on human rights?

I just got this monstrosity of Castrist hypocrisy sent to me by a friend.
Please read this link.
http://www.caribbeannetnews.com/2005/08/02/sanders.shtml
At the bottom of this piece of garbage is this prick's email address.
ronaldsanders29@hotmail.com

Below is my email to him. Please let HIM know your thoughts !
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Mr. Sanders

It is with a great deal of disgust that I read you position on Cuba vis a vis Human Rights Violation.
Yours is the circular logic that has enslaved my people for 46 years.
Castro’s atrocities and human rights violations began MUCH earlier than any so called “embargo”.
The history of this “embargo” is not so old that people like you , (I assume well educated and with a full sense of historical facts ) do not know the reason behind this “embargo”
You point out no other country has suffered 45 years of USA pressure, you fail to mention that no other country had ever stolen assets belonging to American Companies and gotten away unscathed.
THAT is the reasoning for the so called “embargo”. Is this fact something you DO NOT know or just choose to ignore?
Now , based on THAT irrefutable fact the USA began a trade embargo until the stolen assets were reimbursed in full. Castro’s “deal” was 5 cents on the dollar. The USA refused this insulting proposal, and the trade embargo began.
It is inconceivable that any man who occupied your position would actually find an apology and an external force for Castro’s atrocities.
Did you witness the mass executions during the first months of 1959 ? Where you aware these were Human Right Violation while there STILL were relation with the USA and Cuba?
Are you aware these executions were televised so the Cuban people would have the full impact of the consequences of being a dissenting voice in Cuba ?

Now lets examine this “embargo” you apologists are so fond of quoting .
You must know that the 4th largest trading partner with Cuba is .. the USA.!
In Cuba you can find anything your heart desires, from Channell perfume to a bottle of Heineken beer as long as you are a tourist and have hard currency.
Now, please sir, reconcile THAT simple fact with an “embargo”.
Cuba is fully free to deal with any country it wants in the World but insists that the USA “embargo” is the cause of all its ills.
If this is the case why are those countries that DO trade with Cuba suffering from deficits caused by the Cuban government defaulting on its creditors?

Do your homework, sir, research the current Cuban foreign debt. Castro does NOT want a equilateral trade agreement with the USA , Castro wants CREDIT from the USA, while still NOT paying the multi billion dollar debt he undertook when he stole property that did not belong to him.

In typical Castrist NewSpeak they called this “nationalization” but.. the Bacardi company was a Cuban company , all cigar manufacturers were Cuban owned companies. Are you NOT aware of this or are you willingly hiding this fact to make the Castro travesty palatable to the rest of the world?.

Now we arrive at your circular logic.
Castro’s, repression is a meticulous exercise to control, manipulate and subjugate the Cuban people, but YOU give him an excuse, how dare you sir?

Why don’t you explain to us why the USA should be acquiescing to Castro’s whims in order that Human Right violations stop in Cuba?

Does this even make sense to you?

Why can it not be the other way around? Why can the cells in Cuba be opened, the tortures stop the harassment terminated free elections conducted and THEN return to normal relations with the USA?

Your logic is akin to blaming the World Trade Center Towers for the tragedy of 9/11/2001, for the mere reason they were in the path of those planes. Yours sir is utter and profound hypocrisy.

It is no surprise why the Cuban people have suffered 46 years of misery. I is because of people like you. People who at one point or another had the power, the wherewithal to intercede for the Cuban people, but chose to take the path of least resistance and fall trap to the Castrist lie.
Shame on you sir. A MILLION times SHAME ON YOU!

BIO-WEAPONS in KUBA??

My buddy "Eduardo" sent me this heads up on an article from 2004 regarding Bio Weapons in Kuba.
Kindda coincidental because the 3 contributors to this BLOG have been exchanging private emails regarding this topic but we haven’t posted anything yet until there is more substance to the stories coming out of Kuba.
So this is a taste..

What Would You Do?

Early in the morning, you get up and prepare for the day ahead, a work day. You're just an average person, living in an average home. Except you don't live in an average country. You live in Cuba.

Just imagine how it is there. The first thing is you use the toilet, but keep in mind that because the plumbing has not been updated for 40 years and the water supply is low, you cannot flush the toilet. And it's been like this for months. So you defecate in a plastic bag and throw it out the window. What little water you have is not enough to take a bath, so you do the best you can with a little wiping down. You try to remember the last time you enjoyed the luxury of a good bath and it seems a long time ago. You dress, and prepare for breakfast. That is if you still have food to eat. If you're lucky, there's a small portion of rice and beans, you give this to your children and will away the hunger gnawing at your gut. The kids are off to school, getting their daily ration of casstro propaganda. You leave for work. A long walk to transportation and then a long line. Finally you get to work. You are just a number in the totalitarian state. A drone, there is no personal reward. There is no incentive, you are paid a set wage by the state and it's not enough to buy the goods you need to live and feed your children at the prices the state also sets. There is no food for lunch. Finally the day ends, and you wait in another long line for transportation home. Your children are waiting, in the dark because the power has been shut off. You are exhausted. You have no food, no water, no electricity. You can't stand it anymore.

What would you do?

Jimi Hendrix

Jimi Hendrix duped the medical examiners of the US Army during the Viet Nam era.
This can sound upsetting for many of us, but according to the new biography by Charles R. Cross that will hit the bookstores on September 18, Jimi did what many other people at the time did too. He played the gay card, which was an unlikely ruse since his sexual appetite for women was legendary.
He pulled up his stunt in the spring of 1962, probably fearing that JFK would repeat what he has done to the men fighting in a certain exotic beach -Bay of Pigs- on a little island in the sun just a year before. That would be no joke to have the same guy abandoning you in Viet Nam that's for sure!
Jimi wanted to escape the army which has served him right and gave him an opportunity to become somebody. If it weren't for the Army he probably were never become anything else but the car thieve that he was before enlisting. He needed to escape to create the music which he gave us after he was discharged, and also, he needed to escape to live a different live from the lives black men usually were condemned to live in the early sixties. He also was capable of trasspassing the racial barriers erected by no other than the Democrats at that time, not that they don't think in a different way today, they only like blacks during an electoral campaing. He was not ready to die in a war with all that music inside him.
There were other people who also tricked the Army. One of them was Ted Nugent, who also grew up into a rock star and a fervent anticommunist. Jimi Hendrix, according to this new bio, was also a dedicated anticommunist and he didn't feel a tad uneasy about the scalating war in Viet Nam, his song Machine Gun with the Band of Gypsies says it all. I just hope that this pisses off as many liberals as possible!
"Jimi, if you were here now you would be also supporting our troops and you probably would have done a couple of USO tours".
Big difference, though, with so many other traitors who threw their dubiously earned medals, like that guy with the home movie camera, the French guy called Kerry. Or that other guy who invented the internet.... I don't remember his name now, I think it's Bore or something like that. The one who carried the rifle always pointing at his head
I have his music in my mind all the time... In another blog, I wrote a piece called Soundtracks in which I talked about one of his songs, Crosstown traffic. I hear that every time I walk from West to East and back in Manhattan. To my mind come also Purple Haze, Machine Gun, Voodo Chile and so many more at any given time of the day. No, I don't own an I-Pod, I just have those sounds deeply in my soul, because in times of Manic Depression -when I lived in Cuba- Freedom! resonated in my mind everytime that I listened to my bootlegged Jimi records.
Somehow, I always "knew" or "felt" that Jimi was a certified and proud anticommunist. He had to be. His music spoke to me so much and so deeply when I used to live under a communist dictatorship that it could not have been otherwise. I remember this very clearly: kagasstro went to my high school for the commencement of the academic year. I was there, a fourteen year old standing under the sun, and in my head I had Foxie Lady, Machine Gun, Hey Joe, the Watchtower, Third Rock for the Sun and much more and to this day I have no idea what kagasstro had to say!
UPDATE
The combination of having a blues guitar player, a rock drummer and a jazz bassit playing together revolutionized the way rock music was created and played thereafter. Still today, one listens to Jimi and his sound is very contemporary with much more depth and richness than whoever is the fad of the day or the flavor of the week. He was capable of going from the blues mood to the rock mood in the space of a few musical bars seamlessly. His stage antics were not detrimental from his highly polished performance, with amazing lyrics. In other words, he was a rock poet.

Good news

Ok, John Bolton is the new U.S. of A. ambassador at the United Nations. That means a few things, one of them that NYC air is going to be a little bit cleaner when a few liberals run into hiding after learning the news. The other one is that kagasstro has to go and dig himself a new bunker. And buy tons of two ply toilet paper.
In the great scheme of things, it has a very interesting connotation: all the rogue states that were surely rallying behind the scenes to stage an attack on a weak ambassador, since they thought that the Bolton nomination will never succeed, now have a job cut for them, they need to get ready to get their asses whupped and they need to get ready to start paying their cleaners invoices, parking tickets, and utility bills to the city of New York. Interesting enough, all of them have a story of delinquency on this matters.
Besides, now we are going to be exhibiting a nice trait of this nation that is almost forgotten. That trait is our ability to call the shots. I hope that the Cuban Mission to the UN gets scaled back down to a proportional number of diplo-spies according to the population of Cuba and that they pay all their bills or have their light, water and gas cut off (just like in Cuba assholes) and their old cars towed away to a parking lot farther than the 25 miles radius than they can travel without permits.
The fact that the Democrats are scrambling like crazy banshees this afternoon after the appointment is very telling. Ted Kennedy and John Kerry spefically. These are men who are in the senate just because this is a great country in which bums are allowed to get into politics. They are already crying bloody murder, and Kerry is saying in his typical flip-flop style that "Bush has the right to appoint Bolton, but this is wrong". Or something of the sort, whatever he says is irrelevant. Ted Kennedy is, well, just old Ted. He seemed to be sober for the occassion but one never knows.
I particulary pitty kagastro, chavez, kim jong il, bobby mugabe, el assad, that guy with the diaper on his head and so many others today. The going suddenly got tough for them. And when the going gets though, well... the dictators go to the latrines.
Today the U.S. of A. moved forward in terms of ensuring the safety of all its citizens. Bolton will send a message with only one interpretation: "Don't mess with the U.S. Don't thread on me"

VAMOS BIEN – Yeah MOTHERFUCKER, RIGHT INTO HELL!

Last night was my wife’s day to talk to her family in Holguin (last Sunday of each month)
We started calling at 7PM.
We began getting two types of signals. One a recording saying that there was no service to the country we were calling (“Oh shit”, we thought. “ATT cut the services”) and the other was a rapid busy signal.
My wife in tears dialed until 12AM when I finally had to give her a Valium so she could relax and go to sleep
After she was sleep I called ATT , and they told me that “The country you have called” message meant there was no incoming traffic into the country either because too much inbound traffic or just plain NOT enough service within the country. She also said the fast busy signal meant the call GOT through to Kuba but that the phone we were trying to call was either in fact busy or out of order.
This AM we got the email explaining the reasoning for this
Holguin is experiencing 10 hour black outs EVERY NIGHT of the week and on weekends up to 20 hours!
They only have electricity during the day (working hours of course) and at 6PM when people start heading home, the lights go out.

On weekends they have given up electricity altogether. If they get it for a few hours, either the radio station they listen to is not transmitting or the TV channel where they watch they favorite soap opera is dead. (These are of course signs that the situation is not any better in La Habana, where these shows are broadcasted.

So yesterday we had a combination of two of the recent Kuba’s tragedy.
The incoming lines were limited because the phone plants themselves in La Habana were functioning at limited capacity BECAUSE of black outs. ( I got THAT bit of info from an Email from La Habana)
If we were lucky enough to get into the country then the black out in Holguin gave us the busy signal.
This is NOT getting any better; in fact it is getting worse by the day.

The email says “ it was bad before Dennis , now it is just intolerable” and again NO ONE seems to be doing anything about it, since most of the qualified technicians seem to be readying themselves for some kind of ALTERCATION . The living conditions be damned, The Beast MUST stay in POWER.

If you think about this in military terms, this electricity problem can also be a clever ploy to impede an uprising in the middle of the night, or even to impede gatherings to PLAN for an uprising.

The phones issue also effectively cut off Kuba from the rest of the world and breaks the island into fragmented areas, where Holguin has no idea what is going on in La Habana. Very difficult to have a synchronized uprising if the East part of the island has no communication with the West or anything in between.
Whatever the reason. KaSStro’s Kuba is at the edge of the cliff and needs just a little push to go over.
We , need to do ANYTHING in our power to help out brothers and sisters give the SUMO HIJO DE PUTA THAT much needed push.

Assorted tyrants and rulers

King Fahd from Saudi Arabia passed away last night.
His name meant jaguar or leopard in Arabic, but his father described him as an astute fox instead of a mighty feline. He lived up to that reputation, no doubts.
Well, he'd been ill for a while, and his heir apparent, Abdullah, was really in charge of the reins of the Kingdom along with a myriad of sheiks and princes.
Saudi Arabia is, in my opinion, a friendly enemy, or an unfriendly ally. They are more like an enemy like an ally, but officially they still qualify as an ally in the Muslim world.
The reasons are very well known, from hijacking OPEP and the oil prices, to the support of the hotbed of all terrorist hotheads in the region, to the firebrand philosophy of terror, wahabbism, in the form of madrasas or religious schools of indoctrination all over the world.
Osama bin Laden benefited of all of this and made his fortune during the construction boom under King Fahd's iron rule. No Bibles can be had, no churches can be establish nor other religions are allowed to be practiced freely in Saudi Arabia. Women are mere objects that can be traded and killed, and the whole country lives under a veil of state welfare and state control. A tyranny according to what I see, paradise according to the Koran. That's the model of Islamic State that Osama bin Laden wants to impose in his Caliphate.
With King Fahd lying in state, the reactions on the Arab street go from hair-pulling, robe-ripping mourning, to ullullating celebration. Both are extremes that we need to watch, because certainly his passing away and the installation of Abdullah a new committee of princes can mark a golden age for terrorists. We are facing the danger of having a terror breeding farm that extends from Damascus Syria to Iran to the tribal areas of Kashmir, Waziristan and the rest of lawless Pakistan and Afghanistan to the old Muslim ex-soviet republics, not to forget Malaysia, Indonesia and parts of China and the Philippines, so a new era in the war of terror is starting as you read this.
On the other side, now Iran is enjoying an appeasement non-agression pact with the EU. Just like Nazi Germany did in 1938. If to the fire we add the new Stalin, our own terrorist next door (see related post: The terrorist next door) we have a veritable international of terror in place with two fronts, one eerily close to the United States and the other one in the Middle East and Central Asia, a stone throw from Europe. With financial aid from chavez, intelligence gathered in the Muslim world, and the alliance of Iran, kagasstro gets a second air in his terror career. We can safely say: Move over Osama, you've got fiece competition by T. Daddy himself (terror daddy) Just remember what kagasstro said in Teheran, "Iran and Cuba can bring America to its knees".
Both chavez and kagasstro are ungodly enough to have no qualms in embracing a modified philosophy of terror that includes Muslim allies. They are not playing by the rules of Christianity or are part of Christendom (kagasstro was excommunicated by Pope John XXIII, chavez is due for an exorcism according to Cardinal Castillo from Venezuela) and they are deeply and viscerally anti-American, which are the only conditions to be accepted into the terrorist fold. But let's not forget that kagasstro himself is the founder of the terrorist philosophy that has deeply influenced the bomb-brokers and killers of the Middle East. So he accepts people in his international of terror, rather to be accepted in any group.
World War Three is being faught in a different way, since we don't have formal armies anymore as a visible enemy. What we have is a return to tribal organizations in a highly conflictive area of the world and a scattered leadership with spearheads in form of rogue states pointing to the heart of the West. Not to miss is the birth of Telesur, a Cuban-Venezuelan "revolutionary news network" linked to Al-Jazeera. It's well known that Middle Easter terror operatives roam in relative freedom in South America and that the rampant black market in conterfeit and stolen goods and the irregular commercial practices of certain border areas grant them the much needed cover to finance their operations and also to set communication networks.
kagasstro is ready to go out in a bloody big bang since he cannot go out in glory. And for that he counts on finding somebody to help him finish the Nuclear Plant of Cienfuegos that the Soviets abandoned after the debacle of the Red Empire. The fears of a Caribbean Chernobyl are still very deeply instilled in the population of the neighboring cities, and we know that an atomic cloud due to an accident or sabotage or controlled explosion from kagasstros very own red button will obliterate much of Cuba and Florida.
Not that kagasstro cares. He is currently looking for both financial help and technical help to finish that installation and there's where North Korea enters in the equation, but Iran is a fierce competitor in the bidding. There are also a lot of underpaid technicians in rogue states, or simply, there are also rogue technicians all over the world willing to work with kagasstro to help him develop nuclear capacities. We shall be concerned about what his "exit strategy" is, because since his early days his plans have included the destruction of the United States. Maybe he has his own anti-Christian version of martyrdom and apocalypse. He needs to be stopped dead on his grounds before it's too late because he is the biggest menace to this country since the times of Hitler.
