Get over it lefties!

The guy will keep on being dead. The beast is not coming back, lefties, get over it.
One interesting thing though, is that kagasstro always gave the date of this assassin blast off as October 8. Well, a little detail here... On October 8 this rat was still alive, but kagasstro was already writing him off. So on October 9 he was sent back to hell, after kagasstro sold him by giving him out to the world as stiff and cold. Either way, kagasstro needed the useles bastard dead to create a myth that the exporters of the revolution could use. With his demise the world became a better place and t's even better since then, especially because that monster is not around anylonger.

As fate would have, I left Cuba on 10 9th 1967. For a few days before my departure, "something" looked amiss in my neighborhood. My neighborhood lays at the extreme north of Ciudad Libertad (the former Columbia air field and Military garrison)
In my neighborhood we would be regaled with tanks and armored vehicles parading up and down the street as an every day spectacle
In fact the street were I lives was reduces to dust within 1 year of KaSStro’s entry in Columbia . Calle 76 (which begins at the entrance of Columbia and ends at 5th ave in Miramar was destroyed to such extent that today is an impenetrable road, with craters that can swallow a Moskovitch in one gulp.
Those 3 or 4 days before my departure, the military precense was MASSIVE, my folks where shitting bricks SOMETHING was indeed happening.
On Oct 9th when we arrived to Jose Marti the place was pack full of military personnel. Our stay in the pecera was cut VERY short . MUCH shorter than it was typical . So short in fact that some of my friends who left their houses about 45 minutes after I did never saw me catch the plane.
Your way from La PECERA (The holding tank) to the plane was again scary. As all Cubans you think they are looking for YOU .. Specially the adults in the flight. A million thoughts cross your mind. What the FUCK is happening????
Once in the plane we sat and waited , while the plane was surrounded by military types. The pilot took forever to climb on board and finally the plane took off . Seconds after take off the pilot announces that the Butcher of la Cabaña had been executed in Bolivia. The faces on the plane showed a mix of fear and joy. There were 3 or 4 reporters on board who demanded the plane turn back and landed (they were about to miss on one HELL of a story) the Cubans refused, a god damn mutiny was about to ensue. The pilot, flying that KLM flight , a HUGE Arian guy and obviously a no-nonsense kindda individual came out of the cockpit and told every to shut up.. The plane will proceed to Jamaica for fuel and from there Curacao. If reporters wanted to go back they could get off in Jamaica and grab a plane back but OUR plane was NOT flying back to what could turn into a potential debacle.
Upon landing in Jamaica, we were given newspapers officially announcing the death. Most of the reporters got off (some in business class) and the flight attendants took the three kids in the flight to the BETTER sits. They were paid for already, so “ENJOY” they told us with a “wink”
God how we ate, I specially remember some chocolate covered cookies and my first REAL Coca-Cola in over 8 years.
So HOW the military in Kuba was mobilized 3 days BEFORE Che’s execution was and still is a mystery. The “BOLA” was that KaSStro set him up and that that Che’s capture and execution was just a sit and wait issue for The Beast.
Looking back at his behavior on the days prior to 10/09/67 , I would say KaSStro played the perfect communist version of Judas.
great story kc.
