Well, I had told kagasstro that I had something more fun than his old sagging ass in fatigues to take on, and I was refering to terrorists. And I certainly did. But today, July 26 is the date that he has impossed on Cubans as his own pagan celebration of the day of blood on which he sent his followers to die a sure death by attacking the Moncada Barracks, just as much as Osama prick Laden sends his Moors today to face death with the risible promise of virgins in Paradise. So for Cubans there's no Christmas, there's no festivity other than this one when the populace is forcibly gathered and supposed to express their love for the Maximum Leader. See that old farbag with greening teeth? - He showed his true colors on that day.
He and his little baby brother raul got lost in a city that they knew well, with no explanation for that mishap, while their followers died like flies. Then raulito got frustrated and started assassinating infirm people in the Hospital Saturnino Lora, while the kagasstrosaurius himself wandered around Santiago de Cuba playing brave when in reality he was fleeing from the heat of the battle. The city was in Carnival, and of course kagasstro had to spoil the party with a carnage. Not his first carnage, not the last, but the more celebrated.

It's very interesting how kagasstro used the democratic system of an advanced country for that time to create a monster who eventually would obliterate democracy and would devour the country and its people as a hungry vampire. While in jail, he wrote a manifesto copied page by page from Mein Kampft in the same that it is the same mad rambling of a cowardly maniac, based on his own trial and in his own fantasies of absolute power. A few years after, when he was eating cows with his men in La Sierra Maestra, and his brother and che huevara were frolicking suspiciously when they weren't executing someone, he had an epiphany: What about the New York Times making "me" into a big hero? Eureka! Enter Herbert Matthews and you have a date in history on which a pathetic lawyer who never won a case became the liberating (?) force of Cuba. He started by "tricking" that old drunkard of Matthews into "believing" that he had a horde of well trained and well armed men, while in the best Hollywoodian manner his few men acted as extras walking in circles about the campgrounds until old Matt "lost" count of them. So the New York Times invented with a single pen stroke the formidable force on which kagasstro based his empire of fear. Thanks Gray Lady, for sacrificing all of us for your sales! The interesting thing is that kagasstro didn't rely on a real journo who was experience covering combat and revolutionaries that was really close, and readily available in Cuba, Ernest Hemingway. He went with the old fox with a formidable editorial support. He was never able to scam Hemingway into believing that he was not a bastard. For one thing, July 26 is a date of shame and sorrow for Cuba. On that date, the history of the country was hijacked and since that day has been edited to reflect what kagasstro wants, where he wants it, and when he decides it. On that date, he publicly institutionalized terrorism as the means to grab and hold power. One era started ending that day, the free Cuba started vanishing... In my opinion, Fulgencio Batista, a sargent who reinvented himself as a general started the process of decadence in Cuba with his coup d'etat of Sept. 4 1952. Fueled by envy and vanity, kagasstro seeked to give himself a chance with a second coup in the guise of an armed rebellion, and realizing that he had no chance of doing it, sent his men in a suicidal goose chase to erect himself into a hero. That's the story of his revolution: it only is a bloody dream fueled by lowly passions, crime, lies, betrayals, and murders. Thus the dream of a coward came through: He stole a country with fire and blood and became the worst of the tyrants for his own people. The reality today is that people have realized who he is, and the scream that resounds in Cuba today out the chest of its people is not viva la revolución, instead it is: ABAJO FIDEL. UPDATE: The incidents of July 26th of 1953 actually killed the innocence of a young nation. It would never be the same after that dark day in Cuba's history. Along with the youthful drive of the nation, religion was the most important casualty, since Santa Ana, Santa Cristina & Santiago (patron saint of Santiago de Cuba) were important dates of both the Catholic calendar and the Carnival. Carnival as a celebration of joy and pride, no more. Religion, no more. Pagan cult of death with kagasstro as the central figure, with diabolic associations through obscurantism and myths -forever! at least in his mind. This is another trait kagasstro shares with Adolph Hitler, the rejection of Christianism in favor of paganism and the cult of himself. Both the Third Reich and the kagasstro "revolution" were intended to last a millenium. All said? Hardly....

A letter from Castro to other leftist groups in Cuba, in which he explicitly states his intention to proclaim himself as the "source of law", and his intention to abolish the legislature and the judiciary, and to ban political parties other than his own, left no doubt as to whether or not Castro was a Communist. This letter was in the possession of Wieland and Rubottom of the US State Department. The "Bogatozo" The Castro letter, and a steady stream of information concerning Castro's political orientation leave no doubt that Wieland, Rubottom , and Herbert Matthews knew Castro was a Communist, and yet they actively supported him every step of the way. I don't believe cagaSStro duped Matthews. I think he was a willing participant.

CB - I can not ad anything to such a detailed description of the events of July 26, you have done a superb job.
The only thing I would like to point out was that KaSStro was LITERALLY hiding under a priests robe when he was captured. Never got even CLOSE to El Moncada and his, was one of the GREATEST massacres in Cuban history up to that point. Yes Batista soldier's struck back with a vengeance, but who wouldn’t? After your bothers had been executed while lying in hospital beds!
'Cause those were the principal military loses, the soldiers convalescing in the garrison’s hospital; shot as they slept. As EVERYTHING he has ever said or done, his cowardice is only outweighed by his ego and thirst for blood.
