Golfing in Tuscany?
So, there's an Italian internet outlet called InToscana, that is reporting that Raul Castro visited the famous L'Argentario Golf Club in Tuscany, Italy.
They even describe Raul Castro as a passionate golfer (I have other descriptions for him, to be honest) and they place the visit during the first week of August without publishing a photo or being specific on the date.
They said that the visit lasted only one hour, during which Raul Castro asked aobut the particulars of the Porto Ercole green.
The brief report says that Raul Castro's visit and helicopter flight plan were file 24 hours in advance, which actually sounds strange in the case of a guy that s acting as a chief of a state, who should be received by somebody with a corresponding rank in Italy, if we were to stick to protocol.
The article points out that Raul Castro's staff had made an announcement of the visit on July.
According to the report, Castro vistited the eighteen hole facility and then he went on top of small hill with views over the Lagoon of Orbetello, where he held a short meeting with the golf course honchos.
We have obtained no confirmation from such a visit from the Italian Embassy in Washington DC.

Still, no photographs, dates, or a hint about the identity of raul castro's Sicilian son-in-law. Just his profession and first name: the photographer Paolo. The privacy of raul castro seems to be more protected that the privacy of the European royalty when it boils down to publication....

Update: A source texted the surname of the mysterious son in law: Titolo, Paolo Titolo. He is a photographer from Sicily.

I wouldn't read too much into it even it is true.
I am trying to get the printed version of the Corriere della Sera since the online version is not carrying anything about it.
Our sources place raul in Cuba, as per now, while he is using Carlos Lage to deny what we said in the Arroz Frito article....

I very seriously doubt Raul will leave Cuba for anything now, in light of the fact that his brother is so ill and he is in command of the situation as far as we know. It would be unlikely he will choose to leave Cuba at a time like this when uncertaninty is floating in the air about Kastros's health. By any standards one measures and appraises the situation, this is not the time for him to be absent from Cuba. I doubt this report. Just my modest opinion.
His brother being sick means two shits to Lola la China loca. He can be in Zimbawe and the only decision he needs to make is , if theyre gonna announce the BEAST is dead. That can be done over a satellite phone.
Raul is doing a lot more travel that anyone would think he's doing.. One, he is REALLY looking for an EXILE heaven 'cause in all his malice he does not have 1/10 the ego his brother has and Raul is a lot more epragmatic and does consider the posibility of "hechar un pie" if the shit hits the fan . For what I know Mariela has been given the task of finding a suitable hidding place but La China will go and check it out. Do NOT be too surprised if someone discloses that he has in fact been to the USA VERY recently!(rumor NOT confirmed - so please bloggers of the world do not start posting this shit as a SCOOP topic!)
