Communication breakdown.....

I am not going to write about the Led Zeppelin classic. There's no communication with Cuba as per right now.
Of course, something heavy can be happening down there and we don't know about it....
Update.
Oh well, they had a few "communication black-outs" or "apagones telefonicos" due to network maintenance.
According to my friend there, that's not part of any network upgrading, just part of the psych-war on the population, apparently to study what the reaction would be to the annoucement of the news. Geniuses, total geniuses, whatdo they think the reaction would be?

One can wonder. I'm interested to know if the article on Yahoo! News about the Cuban five would have anything to do with the break down. Nah, I doubt it.

Charlie,

I've been hearing that the Kuban TV show, Mesa Redonda, has not been aired for several days now. Do you know if this is true?

This would substantiate your post on their being a communications breakdown.

Also last week, it was said that Ramiro ordered all Internet access on the island to go through a single portal, thus allowing total control of data in or out of the island.

The internet and data business is real. About "Mesa Redonda" that's another story, before castro went into the hospital on July 27th last year, they decided =out of the blue- that Mesa Redonda didn't have a formal schedule anymore. So it's kind of iffy to begin with, and I would not take their lack of transmissions as any clue. They have enough canned material to broadcast make-believe sessions for at least one year. This has been done by design.
What worries me is that we are not even getting SMS messages. and they even use to arrive to us during multi-hour black outs. I don't think that the bastard is dead already, I am fearing a round up of dissidents.....

Matt, one never knows. These people are master of disguise and manipulation, that's the old KGB school. They really used to look down on the Stassi, the darned G2....

i'm with you. the plan was always to cut communications and to round up the dissidents or at least contain them. They even have Dean to use as a smokescreen. is the annoucement coming?

you know what? it would have been more entertaining to write about the zep classic.
the cuban subject is already boring, and the whole soap opera sucks.

Garrincha, Troglo:
Hey, the hurricane was a bit south of Cuba. I was calling and texting cells. The Zeppelin classic is going to be touched one of these days.
As per the boring soap opera, it's real, and not for that less boring. But... what the hell? Weren't you looking for some updates in the boring subject?
Welcome to KillCastro, dudes.
Gusano, Vana, Matt:
The so called big announcement doesn't actually matters anylonger. Raul's in power, and as I say, any celebration will be for the coronation of the Queen of Mean as ruler of Cuba.
Let's the Granma deal with that editorial issue.
Kasstro is just a foot note.

By the way, I don't allow castro to dictate when I have my parties nor my champaigne consumption calendar is tied to thebearded molusk giving up the ghost out of his bi-assed body.
