CIA: A post Castro Cuba will be rife with organized crime

Well, this is why nothing is being done to push for the liberation of Cuba. The CIA and the Government think that a free Cuba will be a paradise for criminals. Hat tip, Penultimos Dias.

Oh I see, the Mexicans, Colombians, Russians, they will all go to Cuba for illegal activities, please...who says we would allow it, and that is one of the reasons they don't recommend a free Cuba, they need to stay out of our business, I'm so sick of the self rightous Americans telling us what a free Cuba would be like, why don't they just leave us alone to free our country

That whole report screams at every word "we are fucking scared that those guys are gonna drive the casinos to hell!!!!" And besides, imagine the competition that Cuba represents sinking the Caribbean economies and the Mexican economies: a free Cuba means more "non-white" illegal immigrants.... And y'all know that xenophobia and racism go hand on hand!

You guys are talking about a lot of new winners and a lot of new losers measured by the rerouting of a bunch of cash. It's as always if you want to see why things happen or do not happen. Follow the money...

The point is, Tomas, that a free Cuba generating jobs and cash for Cubans in the island is what is not wanted by many, as several of these "studies" confirm. They would feel it too close to home, and well, we know the rest!
