This is what President Bush has to say to Vlad the Impaler Putin (yeah, Vlad the Impaler, I call him Vlad The Impaler)
"My message will be Vladimir -- I call him Vladimir -- you shouldn't fear a missile defense system. As a matter of fact, why don't you cooperate with us on a missile defense system?"
Where are the cojones to stop this commie from blackmailing us?

Typical Bush. He said the same thing on the "grand compromise" immigration bill. He should've said (in this case with Vlad), "If you're afraid of a missile defense system that isn't designed to nail you down, you have a) a problem or b) something to hide from us (ie: wanting us to drop our defenses so you can screw with us)." Simple int'l diplomacy in one fell swoop: right there!
I am more and more convinced the Pres is increasingly out of touch with reality, and in the process he is doing a fine job of dragging down the Elephant, as the Jackass laughs on the sidelines.
One wonders if perhaps we aren't caught in the middle of an endlessly-looping and surrealistic Fellini movie.
Albert, we are in the middle of a leadership crisis. Or worse, we are in the middle of a NON-HAVING-ANY-LEADERSHIP crisis.
