The spirit of Randolph Hearst

There's a haunted house in Havana right now where the spirit of Randolph Hearst and the ghost of Herbert Matthew are getting ready to posses the body of Matt Lauer and praise the deeds of an undead dictator, fidel castro.
Maybe they score an interview with the undead.
Who knows.
Could it be a well planned editorial and propagandistic coup, engineered by the powers that be from both sides of the Straights of Death? You bet.
Today's yellow journalism is walking on the steps of the imperialistic Hearst, while wearing the boots of Matthews the man who invented the myth of fidel.
Lauer is going to sink the proverbial Maine in the Havana Bay, once more.
After all, the apple is ripe, again.
They will try to take Cuba back in time, to 1898.
Today, what they want is to keep "stability".
"Freedom" not "independence", is what's being sought, like that, in quotation marks.
A free and independent Cuba is very dangerous.
It will sink the economies of the Caribbean, South Florida, Mexico, New Orleans, las Vegas, and wherever else you've got that tourist haunt in Central America.
So we are being sold again.
The "transition" is what seems to be favored by the opinion makers in the U.S. They want kasstrism without kasstro, they settle for a place in which competition is regulated from abroad, that offer no dangers in economic terms and that keep those pesky balseros for taking the waters.
As in 1898, in 2007 we have many traitors who prefer to pick up the spoils, with no regards to 11 million people on the island.

I know you are right,it's quite obvious what the US wants, just as in 1898, why I ask you what have we ever done to them? except actually enrich this country, with our hard work, and yes even Love for things American, and the USA, but I, we, don't want it so, Freedom, like we have in the US, Freedom for Cuba, complete unandulterated Freedom, for you are right when you say thet a totally free Cuba will steal all tourists from the places you mention, enriching the beautifull Island, well I say our time has come, it is our turn NOW, almost fifty years is too long a time to suffer, and wait.

What, we can't play by our own rules of market capitalism: may the best product or in this case, country with the most attractiveness win?!? Sheesh!
