I saw it last night on Lou Dobbs. He's going try to run on a third party ticket (it's official). His stance on gun control is enough to deter me away from his vote.
Having lived in NYC during his tenure, I can tell you that his platform will be a mixed bag of things (that's why I won't use the word goods)

I'm sort of an expert on Ballot access in the US. He would need to start right now, employ thousands of paid petitioners who would cost millions of dollars to collect signatures to put his name on the ballot and even so only make the cut in about 30 or 35 states. He would need to win all of those states to win the presidency or the contest would go to the house to decide. I don't think they'll pick him.
You are going to see a LOT of desertion from the Republican Party, *I* for one am voting independent and have sent notice to my all the contribution petitioners to go fuck themselves until they pay attention to Cuba. Bush has let us down. More so than any other president cause not only did he do NOTHING for Cuba but made the lives of the Cuban people and families a LIVING HELL and like a sniveling coward did NOTHING against the wet foot / dry foot travesty. Just on THAT basis.. I am taking down my VERY expensive MEMBERSHIP FOR LIFE CITATION of the Republican party

The Republican Party has proven not to be that different from the 'Rats. They have turned their backs on the Cuban voters, and on the Cuban people. They are just there not getting involved or engaged against kasstro. Yeah, Giuliani maybe sounds liberal for some of you, but he had the humungous cojones to tell fucking kasstro you are a mother fucking terrorist like that asshole with you, Arafat, so get the fuck of my party and more, get the fuck out of my city!

Manda madre! First I spend my whole life in this country as a second class citizen because I'm Cuban, and now I find out I'm an "American Cuban," (disdain implicit). It stings because I learn from much that is in this blog.
