Labor, baby crap, and a dying old man.
The same sculptor – David Edwards- produced an already famous sculpture of Britney Spears during labor, and another one of the first turds of baby Suri, of TomKat parentage. The logical progression seems to be a dying motherfucker in Central Park, on sight of the poor Jose Marti.
The colossal sculpture doesn’t resemble kasstro too much, and it sports negroid lips while the old man is of lily white Celtic-Galician descent…. But who cares about those details?
The whole thing makes me want to leave New York City for good.
Not even in Havana they have a sculpture depicting kasstro. And that’s where one would expect such crap to emerge out of the ground.
Maybe they are planning the next big sculpture in the same lawn, one of a dying Hitler too, to keep up with the theme and the diversity and the encompassing of the love for people who did so much for their peoples, or so they say…. Herr Adolph did a lot for the Germans too, wasn't he fond of saying so?
Well, I have the same reason to believe him than I do to believe kasstro.
This is the same man that advocated for terror attacks against New York City at the time Osama Bin Ladden was a toddler making little camel shit balls outside of his parents tent.
Today I learnt that the damn sculpture has been running into trouble with some installation permits. A friend tipped me of the existence of a movie about the sculpture, but I really don’t feel like putting that up on this site.
Actually, more than offending me the whole thing offends the intelligence of this nation, and tells us about the utter stupidity of the “community leaders” who endorse such piece of anti-art and the disgusting scumbag who inspires it.
How an artist can embrace such figure, is something that I can only accept as a portrait of a man who was just against art at large and whose major accomplishment is the assassination of my country of birth, while denouncing his crimes. Sadly it doesn’t seem to be the case, since some bozo writes that this dying slug is a champion for human rights. I lived for many years under the rule of said “champion” and I can guarantee you that the man was the champion of the summary executions and the trampling of the human rights.
A little confession is fit to be included here.... I didn't plan to write about this.
Last evening I proudly showed my daughter the only equestrian sculpture in the world of Jose Marti. It was darkening, and the statue capturing the moment of the death of a real hero had a magical touch to it. I knew that there were rumors about the sculpture of the dying bastard and its location. But I had something in my heart telling me that it was not actually something that would ever happen in the city that I love so much.
But a few minutes ago, I got two e-mails from the editors of both Babalu and Cuban American Pundits alerting me about this. I knew it, and I planned to post a photograph of the sculpure from the base of the Jose Marti monument. I changed my mind after receiving their e-mails.
I will leave you with the link they sent me for you to judge.
All I can tell you is that we all should write and call the Mayor of New York City protesting such an insult.
Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg
City Hall
New York, NY 10007
PHONE 311 (or 212-NEW-YORK outside NYC) FAX (212) 788-2460
E-MAIL:http://www.nyc.gov/html/mail/html/mayor.html
My message to Mayor Bloomberg:
Mr. Mayor,
I am not starting my message with a "dear" or anything nice because today I feel betrayed by you and your administration.
It's been known that a sculpture dedicated to portrait the biggest mass murderer of our hemisphere, fidel castro, is to be installed in New York City, just steps away from the sculpture who honors one fine New Yorker who happened to be a Cuban, Jose Marti.
I am wondering if the honchos of your administration would also approve of a lovingly conceived statue of a dying Adolph Hitler. I have to confess that at this point I would not be surprised, it would only show consistency on the choice of "artistic subject".
I think that at this point, as a citizen, I would like to ask you to either question the intentions of the hommage to the man who vowed to destroy the United States and particularly New York City forty years before September 11, 2001, actually, I would actually like to ask you to block the installation of a statue that is a hommage to the father of terrorism as a political weapon.
Should not you be willing to take into account the indignation of the citizens of New York, I will ask you to remove then the monument to Jose Marti and send it to another part of the nation where it would be honored and out of sight of such intellectual monstrousity.
It's particularly insulting that in the intentions behind this sculpture someone describes fidel castro as a champion for human rights. Please ask your constituents of Cuban descent how do they feel about the state of the Human Rights in Cuba. Ask yourself why so many Cubans risk life and limb to leave their ancestral homeland, would that be because they hate living under such a monster?
I would like to write "respectufully" at the end of this message.
Sorry, I cannot have respect for an administration that allows, and therefore endorses, that the portrait of a ruthless killer in his death bed emerges from the grounds of Central Park.
Sincerely, that's a better way to end, I hope you understand my indignation and some measures are taken to prevent this piece of communist propaganda to be installed in a city that once was this almost-dead man nuclear war target.
Charlie Bravo & KillCastro.

KC's letter to Bloomberg :
Dear Mayor
As a Cuban exile who has suffered on his flesh the torture administrated by the tyrannical regime of Fidel Castro, I can NOT believe a statue of the biggest murdered in Latin America History will be unveiled in NY Central Park on Nov 8 2006
I keep wondering what has happened to our values.
I can only imagine this went past the radar at your office and that some left wing liberal park administrator signed the request and that was THAT!
The press release for this insult bears TREMENDOUS importance in this matter
“Harlem is perhaps the only community in the U.S. that proclaims an admiration for Castro”
Well let us say it is SO, which I am betting if you ask 10 people in Harlem who Castro is, 9 will go, who?
This is a plan by very few people to commemorate a man who has been an OPEN racist all of life. Who treats black dissidents as animals? Who executed 3 young black men trying to leve his hell hole and called them “Three little niggers”
I doubt the "leaders" of the Harlem community share that with the people in Harlem.!
But let’s say that the Harlem community DOES want that statue of a man who hypocritically has played them for all propagandistic value they are worth.
Let us see the scope
“Harlem is perhaps the only community in the US…”
What does THAT say?
Central Park does NOT belong to Harlem, Harlem happens to be a community that has as much right to put anything in Central Park as the KKK members in NYC have to put a statue of Hitler!.
And I am willing to bet there are more KKK members in NYC than people in Harlem.
Ironically having that statue in Central Park it will only become a target for every Cuban in NY or any Cuban who visits NY or anyone who has ever lived under the tyranny of a communist regime and the only thing accomplished by this is to blatantly insult a WHOLE nation, specially black Cubans the segment of the Cuban population who has suffered the most under Castro’s evil yoke.
It will be targeted to be defaced. To be plastered with feces and graffiti, or to the more extremist members of the Cuban –American community to be physically destroyed by ANY means.
If your administration permits this and goes through NOV 8 we will be there to protest this insult to the 100 of thousands victims of the Caribbean Monster.
The New York police department will spend more money protecting that statue than they do protecting the WHOLE of Central Park.
If Harlem wants to pay their respects to the biggest assassin in the history of Latin America, by all means. Stick in some church. By having it next or even near Marti the adored father of our country is not only an insult to all freedom loving Cubans but a taunting to Cuban-Americans to take extreme actions..
Your call Mr. Mayor.

I can only imagine this went past the radar at the mayor’s office, some left wing liberal little motherfucker park administrator signed the request and that was THAT!
The press release is just so full of shit is just NOT even worthy of a answer
“Harlem is perhaps the only community in the U.S. that proclaims an admiration for Castro”
Well let us say it is SO, which I am betting if you ask 10 people in Harlem who KaSStro is they will go , who ?”
But let’s say that they are THAT fucking stupid …
“Harlem is perhaps the only community in the U.S…” What the fuck does THAT say?
Central Park does NOT belong to Harlem, Harlem happens to be a small community that has as much right to put anything in Central Park as the KKK members in NYC have to put a statue og Hitler!.
If you look at this from the ironic point that having that statue in central park will become a god damn target for every Cuban in NY or any Cuban who visits NY to go and plaster some shit on it or just be bombed to hell. If this goes through NOV 8 we will be there with cans of graffiti and deface that piece of shit. The New York police department will spend more money protecting that fucking statue than they do protecting the WHOLE fucking Park.
If Harlem wants to pay their respects to the biggest assassin in the history of latin America , by all means . Stick in some church. By having next or even near Marti is just taunting the Cuban exiles to go a blow this shit up.
Your call Mr. Mayor.
Sorry guys....The way I see NY these days is nothing but a garbage dump, and now more so than ever!! Unfortunately, that city is headed in the same direction as New Orleans (the sewer) NY is nothing but decadence, filth, full of liberals and of folks living off the system. I wonder if Evil Hillary is going to do the unveiling of the hijo de su gran madre statue of Castro?

Mr Niko Jones....
Saludos,
Bon-bon
I guess if they are to build the statue does that mean the bastard is dead? Great letter KC and CB, I will also send the mayor a piece of my mind and all of you freedom-loving brethren out there, get off your butt and write or call the mayor!!!!!!!!!!!
Toco, I agree: "I love NY"
Why doesn't someone beat the shit out of the sculpture ?? Make them replace it everytime.
Excellent letters to Mayor Bloomberg! I just sent him my thoughts and hopefully many more will. We have to fight this communist propaganda on every front!
Carmen, I still love New York.
Cubanito, my artist friend in Harlem, my apologies for not having jumped at this when you told me!!!! I heard your "I told you so"!
Now, it's up to us.
Write letters, call the Mayor's office, call the artist studio.
It's not about freedom of expression, it's about respect for the suffering of people, the same nobody will erect a monument celebrating slavery in Harlem or anywhere else for that matter or a monument celebrating the "achievements" of Hitler or his "dedication" to the cause of the Aryan race. It's as simple as that. I would love to know what part of this the Mayor and his staff can't understand.
Public answer to the e-mail from BlackCubanDude:
Yes, you are absolutely right, absofuckinglutely right, and KillCastro touches on it on his letter to Mayor Bloomberg: fidel castro is a shameless racist.
I appreciate the fact that you plan to tell Mr. Bloomberg to travel to Cuba to see with his own eyes how Cubans of all races "live", and specially, how black Cubans "live" in Cuba.
Yes, there is an APARTHEID (all caps) in Cuba today. It has been there since I have use of reason, and while you can call me or I can call you NEGRO with no offense meant, the government has a racist policy in place who effectively bans blacks from every corner of the professional and public realms in the island.
Black Cubans are taking the brunt of repression -is it news that the majority of the leadership of the dissidency in Cuba are either blacks or mulattos? and black Cubans have a huge dignity that is being insulted, offended and trampled for the people who "own blackness" in New York City.
Thanks for taking the time to writing to Mayor Bloomberg, he needs to read your letter.
Si ponen la cagada esa en Central Park y alguien quiere organizar una "Marcha de Las Mandarrias" para ir a destrozar esa cosa abominante, cuenten conmigo que traigo mi mandarria. Y si caigo "encanao," no importa. Asi honraria la memoria de mi amigo Armando Alejandre, que si viviera seria uno de los primeros en entrarle a mandarriazos a esa mierda.
Alberto -
They will spend MORE money in police guarding that fucking TURD of a statue that the will guarding the whole of Central Park.
Remember, is NOT only Cubans this travesty is insulting it is every soul who has ever lived under a communist regime. And man, there are a LOT of those in NY. So yes "a mandarrazos" if need be and FUCK it, so I get a "criminal" record, under the circumstances it will be an honor!
