Why I despise Columbia University

Columbia University will disgrace its halls today, since they invited the ruler of Iran, cross-eyed, unibrow sporting, crazy-ranting Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, as announced by Columbia university's president, Lee Bollingeron on Wedesnay night. Of course, after doing this some back pedalling was de rigueur and Mr. Bollinger quickly said that the invitation to "the president" didn't come from his desk, but rather that "the university had extended the invitation". I thought that Universities' presidents had some control over whatever the governing board decides, but apparently that's not the case of Columbia University.
The former hostage taker has not confirmed that he will effectively attend the world leaders academic summit that is being held on the Morningside Campus.
So, a Holocaust denier with nuclear ambitions who called for the destruction of Israel gets fittingly invited to an institution that has gained some fame by its anti-Israel professors. I see a pattern here.
Now some honchos at Columbia university are trying to defuse the controversy as "rumors". But the fact is that an invitation was considered to this new Hitler and that it was done under a cloak of secrecy and a veil of lies.
I think that this post will give an idea of why I don't get back to them -to the fundraisers at Columbia University who keep themselves busy by sending their money begging envelopes to my home and who aren't getting any response from me.
