The real deal: the raw one

As we have said, the oportunity to get rid of that cancer was missed -we don't miss an oportunity to miss an oportunity- on July 31st and the following day. A nice Marines unit showing up in Havana would have put an end to the dictatorship, but instead, we had a fiasco like the "no air cover" of Bays of Pigs all over again. It's deja vu for people in Cuba.
Well, that led to raul castro getting to power, and then the change of mind of his brother who personally appointed Darth R. Valdes to keep his system going by proxy. Let's face it, this is also very beneficial for those who have a lot to lose when a free Cuba becomes reality, and this kind of "arrangement" at the expense of the Cuban people protects a lot of business interests in touristic areas of Mexico, Central America, the Caribbean, Miami, New Orleans, Las Vegas and so on and so forth. The sole fact that Cuba would use tourism money to construct a manufacturing industry, software and hardware included, is scary enough for business interests that would not have a cut of the pie. So that's why all is so quiet, and nothing's done, and the Cuban people got screwed once more. As long as money flows, nobody will care. The ones suffering are in Cuba, but again, they have been fending for themselves for the last 47 years and the arrangement works for others. It's all about economics, money, and power. The island is for grabs, and in the hands of a fully functional mafia family. Is that so difficult to understand Mr. President?
Do the politicos understand this? I bet they do.
Do they care about the Cuban people? No, why would they?
Prepare for a mass wave of refugees coming to the States.
The situation is worsening by the minute.
But hey, we still have the dry foot wet foot in place!
Not a single Cuban American politician has come forward demanding its total abolition and rejecting the notion of not doing a thing about Cuba. Can tell us why? I think they can, but it's not in their best interest to let us know.
On the other hand, they are busy promoting Radio and Tele Marti. Radio Marti works, Tele Marti doesn't. The material they have online is ridiculous, so maybe it's a good thing that it can't be seen in Cuba. It's just a waste of money.
Why aren't we concentrating on the Internet?
Let me tell you, because there's no controlled information online. Because while someone can promote their views, there will be always someone like us ready to deconstruct them and to offer a podium to the Cubans of the island. The Internet is not a one way street as radio or TV are, and believe me, these people are not interested in listening to an iota of what people from the island think or have to say, and much less in what their expectations are for the future, or how they see the future.
Maybe Darth Ramiro Vader is already getting thank you cards. I don't know.
