First sister in law missing in action
Who would imagine?
The first sister in law is nowhere to be seen. I mean, Vilma Espin de kasstro. Yeah, that one, raul's wife. She hasn't been seen anywhere, the newspapers ain't carrying any photo of the woman, and well, y'all know how Radio Bemba gets in Havana....
Our source reports that she hasn't been seen with Tia Mirta, so no female bonding between the wife of #2 and the ex of #1.
Actually, our source says that Vilma has been in pretty bad shape healthwise as per these day, and that she wound up in a hospital with an undertermined ailment. I mean, I don't wish the lady any harm, I wish her hubby and her dear cuñado something proportional to what they have been doing to the people of Cuba from 1953 and onwards. The ladies, well, they ain't saints, but there's something in me who prevents me from wishing any bad to a woman. Maybe I am just old fashioned.... but where the hell is comrade Vilma???
Our source asked us, ironically, if we weren't surprised that the women in that family are relegated to a distant and blurry background. No woman from that family has been reported as visiting kasstro, and probably, they are pulling the strings of power trying to carve a future for their sons and daughters. Don't tell me that it's not scary for the kasstros, and their houseboy, el mico putumayo chavez.
Imagine all those women fighting and screaming like banshees to el mico and raul, and both of them cursing kasstro for having it nice in the hospital and leaving them trapped with those women!
The strange thing is that Vilma hasn't been seen in any of the usual meetings of the Federation of Cuban Women or any other of those social causes pow wows that are so dear to the liberals who visit Cuba on a regular basis. It probably explains why Cindy Sheenan hasn't stompped on Cuban grounds with her old birkenstocks.
Suspiciously enough, the other day, on August 24 it was the 46 anniversary of the Federation of Cuban Women, according to our sources, there was no letter from Vilma or there were no new photos of her in the newspaper, just a couple of old photos from the first days of the kasstrist era. Where's she? Isn't this kind of weird?

You are way too friendly with Vilma. She has been behind the creation of all those reeducation camps for jineteras, mostly girls who could not pay off the police. Gruesome camps, where those poor girls eat dirt and get raped by the guards.
