Darth Valdes: "we are hiring"

Darth Valdes is getting the electronic surveillance back into fashion in Cuba. Not that it ever faded out of favour with the government, or with the private spy armies certain members of the nomenklatura, like Darth Valdes, have kept all these years to be aware of the internal plots they all have been hatching against each other.
Darth Valdes was known (and feared for) his ability to have a parallel service of spionage following all the moves of the complete who's who in the Communist Party cupola, from the kasstros down to the janitor. He also keeps files on every one of the "foreign friends of Cuba" that are so prone to visit the island and commit all sort of excesses. Do not forget who his inspiration is, no other than Felix Dzerzhinsky, the founder of the Soviet Cheka from whom he has even copied his personal facial hair style.
To make the long story short, they are actively recruiting people with computers degrees to work in the surveillance base known as "Lourdes" left behind by the Russians, and which has been till now "shared" with the Iranians and the Chinese.
Our sources say that after having sucess blocking TV Marti with very little resources and low tech devices the next thing this guy's trying to do is to block "unfriendly" internet sites, c'est a dire, many of the blogs you read daily.
This guy's a prick, but he's not stupid, the orders are to selectively block some internet sites and communications so everything is always out of context and that he can make use of real statements (out of context of course) as tools of ideological propaganda. There will be hacking intents, virus attacks, and surveillance of e-mail exchanges. We are up to the challenge.... are you?
