This may not be "hardball" but even a "softball" has a good sting if it hits you in the right place!

It is time for a boatlift TO Cuba. Not less than 4 or 5,000 private boats, with adequate range and supplies for a round trip, should set out from S. Florida for Cuba with at least three persons on each boat including imbedded news professionals, plus gifts, clothes, and money for the people who greet the vessels. All vessels would be required to fly oversize U.S. flags. All gifts should be marked with U.S. flags and every member of the party MUST have a U.S. flag clearly displayed on his or her clothing at all times. They should give away what they wish to give and get back on their boats and return to U.S. waters.

NO WEAPONS except for the required flare guns and flares should be allowed as this is a peaceful flotilla. The Cuban government, such as it is, should be put on notice and if ANYONE from the government harms ANYONE on ANY of the vessels we will consider this a direct threat against the U.S. of A. and we will take appropriate action to defend our interests.
