two controversies
Well, no controversy.
One is related to that book that got banned in Florida schools, "Vamos a Cuba" (let's go to Cuba)
Let me make clear that I am not for banning any book, or burning any book. Even when I hate the contents. Having said that, let's make use of our common sense. That damn book has as much place in school like a book about the Hitler Jungen has in a kindergarten in Jerusalem or as a matter of fact, in a grade school in New York City. Besides, I have no news that in Cuba they have any book called "Vamos a los Estados Unidos" (let's go to USA) in first grade. Ask Elian, and you will see. The book is just political propaganda in favour of an evil regime, and it has no place in a school system of a democratic country. I am wondering if the latest speech by raul kasstro will also be distributed in public schools. Yes, that one. The one where he says that the USA should be militarily defeated, humiliated, and eventually destroyed. I hope all the people who want to go to Cuba to do business and see how quaint the country is get handed a copy of such loving hitlerian speech.
The other controversy is Hajji Girl.
What's wrong with an American soldier singing about being cuckolded into following a beautiful Iraqi girl into her house for a love encounter, just to face her whole terrorist family armed with AK 47's and rusty long knives? Apparently the liberal press doesn't like that the whole terrorist family gets killed, and they decry the death of those "civilians" and their little girl. Maybe they'd be happier if the GI had been beheaded after being ambushed and shot.
Let's just put things in perspective: the minute you brandish weapons you are voiding your civilian condition and becoming an enemy combatant to be dealt with lethal force. What about the little girl? Well, it was up to her loving family to look for her safety and you don't conduct an ambush using your daughters as bait. Too bad they got killed, it was their family's fault.
I don't condone the killing of civilians, but war is a dirty business. If civilians choose to participate as terrorists or baits acting on behalf of terrorists, they are buying themselves a load of bullets coming their way.
After all, liberals, that's only a song. Get a fucking life, and now I am gonna listen to some Ramones and some Jimi Hendrix. The liberal crowd can go back to their stupid Moby.

Let’s start with the whole concept of BANNING anything
The world has reached a point where the only assholes who actually worry about BANNING anything that may be , insulting , inappropriate or a just down right LIE is the democratic governments.
We AGONIZE about this . “Oh if we ban THIS book where do we stop?”
We stop at the point where it makes NO sense banning the book ya dolt. COMMON SENSE will be your best yard stick. COMMON FUCKING SENSE!
We live in an USA that because it allowed EXEDINGLY liberal actions in the 60s from a bunch of strung out hippies have forgotten that are LAWS in this country that do NOT allow EVERYTHGING to be protected under freedom of speech.
Now , a new novel or right wing idea , it is a COMMON SENSE defense mechanism to the lies and propaganda of an enemy, declared or covert.
I am SO fucking tired of repeating this but thre is a LAW in the BOOKS from WWII that does not allow freedom of speech to anyone who blatantly attacks or disseminates ideas that are against the USA.
