My anthems
I have two national anthems.
The Cuban National Anthem and the Star Spangled Banner. They are to be sung in the languages of their authors, and in the language their authors respected as part of their national identities and their histories.
Don't get me wrong, I love the versions of my anthems as interpreted by Guajiro and by Jimi Hendrix, with their patriotic core intact, in the hot blooded renditions of these artists.
My anthems are not to be marketed as "politically correct" or "inclusive".
They are not.
They have a very special value, and it's the value of the lives of the men and women who died defending the glories and dignities of the country in which I was born, and of the country that I consciently made mine. None of my anthems are to be sung in Spanglish. One is in Spanish, the language of my heritage, the other in English, the language of my future, the languages of my culture.
If one chooses to live in this country one ought to learn the language, the culture, and the law, and become an American.
Dream the American dream, in English!

It is INSULTING to ALL of us naturalized Americans and born Americans that the very language of this country needs to be bastardized in order that some feel "included"
Let us go to Mexico and ask them to sing their National anthem in Spanglish . OH the horror. The yanks imposing again.
I never NOT once bore any resentment towards the Mexican illegal immigrants until I saw the Mexican flag in MY SOIL while MY flag was being burned. Granted it was not by any means the majority. but these is POPULISM simple people who understand simple iconic visual stimuli . And the Commies are GREAT at that.
Well a country can impose their will on another country just by the sheer pressure it exerts on it , no need to BOMB us with TNT , they are bombing us with rhetoric a nd bullshit.
My blood father used to say that we should be VERY scared of China and forget about Russia , cause the Chinese could kill us a “Chinasos” In other words , just open a BOMB Bay and drop 500 Chinese onto a city . Well the Chinese are coming in walking right by the border and the danger is HERE. They are just called ILLEGAL ALIENS.
I hear ad nauseum that AMERICA is the continent and not the country. You stupid FUCKS.. the country is THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. That means the name of the Country is "The United States" , granted not a very fluid name but hey..
The United States HAPPEN to be in America, so what do we call it? The United States of.... Africa ? It was the REST of the world who started equating AMERICA to the USA , are we gonna recant , let us call ourselves , something else .. How about

I kindda disagree about dreaming the American dream in English , because my folks never could, but god damn it, they DID FIGHT for that dream IN ENGLISH , and never not once ever think it was wrong on the contrary to the day my mother died whose mind had been ravaged by Alzheimer could proudly say IN ENGLISH .
“GOD BLESS AMERICA”
The sole fact that in her mind, KillCastro, even when it was blurred by Alzheimers, she could proclaim proudly "God Bless America" tells us that she was living her American Dream in English.
We have many ingrates now that don't want to recognize the greatness of this country that receives them, and who think that they can armbend the society into giving them even more.
We shouldn't have any place for leeches. The Statue of Liberty doesn't say anything about bringing leeches and traitors into our midst. But well, the Government is denying what the Statue of Liberty proclaims by keeping the dry-foot wet-foot in place!
The star spangled banner should not be desecrated like this, some people have no common sense, and they are just plain stupid!
