Unaccounted for?

Speculation was constant on Monday about the defection of a Cuban baseball player, according to sources in Havana. Apparently, there was a denial from the Cuban government (not from the Cuban Baseball Federation, take note of this) and from liaison officials from the Major League Baseball upper ranks.
On arrival in Havana the Team Cuba mouthpiece Pedro Cabrera said: "there have been no defections whatsoever". But there was no chance to confirm with a quick count because the players were taken into different buses and jeeps, for an improumptu parade, and then they were taken to a secluded facility, with no previous contact with their families. That's called debriefing, in G2's jargon, complete with the typical separation and isolation of the subjects.
States-side, the Major Leagues is mum on the possibility, legend, or reality of any Cuban defection.
By the way they have also been mum on the cash prize that Cuba will receive for its participation in the games. Again, our sources inside Cuba provide a good insight on the money sharing scheme, as agreed between Butt Snake Selig and kasstro:
As said in government circles in Havana, from the total dollar amount produced by the games, the MLB will take half of the proceeds, the other half of them to be divided between the participant teams, Japan gets 10%, Cuba gets 7% and the rest of the teams get 1% each. Nice way of laundering money, since there are no estimates of the amount of money produced by this venture, at least the total dollar amount was not available to our source in Havana. What they see with preocupation in Cuba is that SEVEN PERCENT of that money is landing straight in kasstro's pocket, since the Cuban Baseball Federation is not an independent organization, it's as every other organization in Cuba, a front of the goverment. So a large amount of money is being funneled to Cuba, and another considerable amount is being funneled to China. So nobody can really control what money is going where.... I call this trading with the enemy, and the last time I checked that was also considered treason Mr. Selig.
Remember that kasstro promised to give some money for the Katrina relief, wait for that check, and make sure it's not made out of rubber.
In the meantime, Guillermo Fariñas is dying for the freedom of expression and information of the Cuban people, and the American press is singing praises to the Cuban team, being more benign to them than they are to the real champion, the Japanese team. That a dign Cuban is dying for the cause of liberty is not a concern they seem to harbour, they are busy in giving the a championship (at least in propaganda terms) to kasstro, out of the ballpark.

CB, I watched the last couple of innings, and I was disgusted by the announcers going on and on about the Cubans. You'd think they were out there playing by themselves it was so lopsided. Now that the team is safely behind the iron bars of Kuba, they press is turning out story after story of the same sickening dribble. Who the hell do they think is reading this? Then of course, we have 'his' speechifying, including his self praise for "donating" the money to the Katrina victims. I’d sure like to see that canceled check. .....and Fariñas is still dying, there is still no meat on the dinner plates, there are still the gulags, the children forced to sell themselves, and on and on the fucking nightmare that they will not write about.

That's why we have to take the press and all the enablers to task, that's why it's our insoslayable moral duty to write about this and to scream with all our soul: abajo fidel! anytime that we remember the cruelty of the dictatorship and the unabashed support of his fifth column inside the United States. Abajo fidel! that's a homage to el Coco Fariñas and to every Cuban who is suffering right now!

I was flabbergasted as to the fawning of the commentators over KUBA .
Indeed sounded like they were there playing by themselves, while all the praise should've been going to the Japanese for having re-invented the sport. Or perhaps that was the problem that the Asians have totally changed the way the sport is played and they can not identify with that but KUBANS play it Major League style so THAT impressed the commentators.
At any rate it DID make me SICK that the American media is SO god damn infatuated with ANYTHING that comes out of the Gulag.
The most obscene comments were the “These are "amateur players" ... and politics aside….. “
How the FUCK can anyone be so naive?!
AMATEURS ? they do NOTHING but play subsidize d ball since age 7 and they are AMATEURS ? and we need to leave out POLITICS ? HOW DO YOU DO THAT? When the Arian athletes of the third Reich pummeled everyone at the Olympics did we put politics aside back then ?

It was enough to scream!

BTW, all the calls I made to all the black groups in the USA in reference to Fariñas went unanswered even the one to most important black church in NYC of which I was able to get the personal number of its Reverend.
So there you go! It is NOT race or inhumanity they care about it is what cause would get them the most air time and political influence . FUCK THEM... Right now I am feeling VERY antagonist towards Black religious organizations in the USA!

Now they are saying as La Ventanita quotes on her blog, that no money whatsoever is ever going to go to Cuba. Good.
That was the deal hammered with the State Department. That the bearded rat wouldn't get a penny in his hands.
Abajo fidel, fuck him!
