Actually, that would’ve been the only job available to her. She got kicked out of Kuba for a pretty benign anti-KaSSTro piece, but that does not make her an automatic bankable commodity for networks like FOX (who hate her guts) and the liberal media is not going to displease Mr. Turner by hiring her. BTW - as an aside here, I was able to speak with the reverend of the Riverside Church in NYC Charles Strut who very kindly returned my call about Fariñas and took great interest in the matter ESPECIALLY when he found out that Newman had gotten sacked after she reported on Fariñas. He promised that he would bring the matter up to the elder in the congregation and they would most likely investigate and during Sunday services the matter will be mentioned to congregation in general and ask all to pray for Fariñas. A VERY touching moment for me.
The fact that this gentleman gave me his personal home and cell numbers FLOORED ME! But as a message to us all. IF YOU DON’T TRY you NEVER KNOW !
