Bush Would Veto Any Bill Halting Dubai Port Deal!
I think I have spoken about this with about 50 people and 100% of them regardless of party affiliation are against this deal. Police, firemen, subway workers, CEOs etc they all think this is LUNACY. Yet Bush threatens to veto a bill halting the deal.!
Sitting back and analyzing the TREMENDOUS amount of ill will Bush and the Republican Party are getting for such a stupid decision must give us time to pause and wonder:
"What is behind this seemingly stubborn and unpopular decision? Why would a whole political career affecting not only Bush’s presidency but the future of the Republican Party be so adamantly defended?”
It is not as if we are getting a GREAT price from the Dubai people, in fact the price is quite steep when compared to other providers. And even if the price was a bargain , we could use other companies and still afford the premium to feel a LOT more secure within our shores.
Now, WHY is Bush taking this risk????
Of course the ‘Rats figure this out already KICK-BACKS ! Well just TOO easy. And too stupid. Kick-backs are not gardener from high profile issues, or once the issue becomes high profile, the kick back is just NOT worth it.
So why is Bush sticking his winky out on this and willing to piss off 90% of his supporters ( I for one , am NOT voting republican any more just out of sheer frustration for the piss poor job Bush has done).
But, I am willing to explore the reasoning here. I mean we know Bush is not the sharpest tool in the shed but, Bush is not making these decisions in a vacuum, a group of people are advising him on taking this TREMENDOUS risk.
So, looking at this from all angles the only thing that is BLATANTLY apparent is OIL.
Bush, will be asking the Saudis for an overproduction of oil while keeping it at a reasonable price.
Why? ‘Cause the administration is planning on a breakup with Venezuela! 14% of an oil shortage has to be replaced with product from SOMEPLACE and the moment that supply is guaranteed, Bush will break relations with El Putumayo.
You can not have a semi literate, bully speaking about your Secretary of State the way Minnie-me does. Not even KaSStro in his worse days was so insulting, so blatantly antagonistic in such a constant manner. KaSStro was typically the “tira la piedra y esconde la mano” type. Chavez’s THINKS he IS “EL QUE MAS MEA” and the fuck does believe himself to be omnipotent.
Chavez’s bullshit is being swallowed in Latin America as a clear indication the USA will take it and shut up.
The infamous paper tiger. All figures and no substance. If this continues to proliferate in Latin America the USA will loose all credibility in the region.
Latin Americans LOVE this “fuck you, fuck you too” insult exchange. They truly believe that he with the last insult wins, and wins as decisively as if a war had taken place. So the administration MUST be looking to chop EL Mico’s head off WITHOUT running the risk of running into an oil shortage.
I am pretty sure that the purchase of the British company by the Saudi interests did not catch anyone at the White House or Pentagon by surprise. In fact I would dare to guess it was APPROVED by the White House. So no one in Bush’s cabinet went “oh shit they SOLD the company to ARABS?”
Now, is Bush going to address the American people with this bit of news? Doubt it, BUT if he vetoes this bill and offers no explanation, we WILL have a democrat in the White House in 2008, unless as I said someone like Giuliani decides to run on an independent ticket.
At any rate , this is just the worse case of sticking one heads up one ass I have seen in American politics and god damn it had to come from a Republican president.
Only one thing is going to save Bush from becoming a pariah as far as American politics are concerned . COME CLEAN !
And if the Venezuelan connection is not at the root of this MAKE IT be the root of this, at the very least we Latin Americans get something out of this most ill advised deal.

The whole doing is so sloppy, so slovenly that I doubt that they have thought the Venezuelan connection could be a good cause, excuse or reasoning to do this.
I hope -deep inside- that you and I are totally mistaken and that the whole thing is a nightmare from which we can wake up. If no explaination is given, if we go ahead with this lunacy, well, maybe the CIA will be outsourced to kasstro's G2 and some bozo is going to come up with a darn justification for it.
Let's hope that Giuliani comes upfront with an independent ticket, and that his vision could prevail across the board. The 'Rats have only rats running in their race, so they are not a viable alternative.

I think that to top the stupidity of Bush on this issue he is also making this look like ANTI ARAB bigotry move as far as those who oppose this deal. Jimmy Carter is of course jumping on THAT and supporting the deal. Carter can give two shits about EL PUTUMAYO. In fact if Chavez falls that will give Carter one more year of demagogy and TV time.. These are hyenas and they do feed on each other.
Today the POST had an article that pretty much emphasizes the fact that this is political suicide for Bush and the Republican Party and that a LOT of republican are just not gonna go down with te ship on this one.
Clearly it blames Bush's infamous stubbornness and ridiculous loyalty to subordinates as far as bad decisions are concerned.
Apparently I was wrong (as far as the official news in concerned) and the White House didn’t know anything about this till it hit the public press. ( Georgie, georgie, georgie!)
The BIG explanations and excuses are:

The DUBAI people will not handle security just move containers in and out of ships.
-Well buddy, apparently George has never been at a port and seen how those containers are handled .
And I am appalled that NOONE advised Bush that THAT was a piss poor explanation !
Containers from abroad come sealed & coded and can only be opened by the recipient or Customs. Customs does not check ALL containers ON the ship, probably 90% are check already in the storage yard. Now any terrorist infiltrated in a plan to smuggle anything to the USA can EASILY:
Open the container before customs gets to it , take out whatever they want and reseal the container with a copy of the seal and ID #. This is SO god damn fundamental and easy it is NOT funny!
The other explanation is that the Dubai people have been doing this for a TON of years with other countries with NO problems. Yes, and we had never had an attack on USA soil for a LOT longer and BOOM one day we have 9/11/2001 . What is the president’s point here ?
2) The DUBAI company is NOT Saudi Arabia but a part of the "United Arab Emirates" (I don’t even know what the fuck THAT means) but like THAT makes any difference to you and me. Are they MuSLIMES ? Can they be infiltrated by terrorist organizations ( after all the pentagon was infiltrated by KaSStro) so that is good enough for me NOT to allow them to even BREATH on anything making its way to the USA.
Bush will fall flat on his face if he vetoes because he will be overridden and will go into history as a major asshole, at par with his buddy Bill Clinton. May the spirit of Ronald Reagan descend on Bush and snap him out of this idiocy spell he has around him.
