I was about to report on my latest news feed "directly" from La Habana which included the following
What I DO know is that the situation in Kuba is getting bleaker (for The Beast) by the second, that people are just flat out confronting the government troops and the troops are backing down.
The scrolling billboard on the USA interest section (as trite and insignificant as that gesture is, since I have been told it can hardly be seen) is having KaSStro apoplectic with anger. Declaring on national TV that he may have to close the USA interest section or even consider this a declaration of war. If you think about it, the USA is REALLY taunting him to do something stupid. I mean, can you imagine the USA doing something like that in a communist Hungary or Poland ? UNTHINKABLE.
Yesterday, Lec Walesa had a video conference with dissidents (hosted by the USA interest section) and he in no uncertain terms told the dissidents KaSStro is going through the gasping last breath of the dying beast , I mean if someone knows Walesa does. He encouraged the dissidents to keep the pressure because he was sure the military would not act against the people.. Why? In the off chance the USA intervenes the military doesn’t want to be on the OTHER side of a USA invasion nor do they want to be facing a purge after Cuba is free.
So we will have to wait till May and SEE if THIS transition documents carries more MUSCLE and less fluff. If it is again a fluff piece , then the USA is clearly just waiting for KaSStro to die before getting involved.. because they have NO OTHER CHOICE!

I just got an e-mail where my source tells me that they were planning to "blind" the ticker by pointing search lights at it. It wouldn't work, plan abandoned. So now they have been hauling scaffolding around, maybe to erect a temporary structure to block the view, but the darn thing is at least in the ninth floor, so it would have to be a heck of a scaffolding, plan to be abandoned.
The third option would be to try to cut the electricity to the American Interests Section, but that'd be to put it under siege. That one kagasstro is still considering. Another failed plan was to interfere the communications -that are already being monitored- but for some reason they have not taken any step on that direction.
Ticker away and show how many have been executed and imprisoned. Funny how this is not geting much play, but the baseball stuff still dominates the internet and media
This is fresh from inside the loop, they tried to interfere the communications in the USIS. The only problem was that the police communications in the area WENT DOWN TOO! NATURALLY!
For once, the US is outsmarting casstro. The ticker idea is marvelous, and is making casstro look stupid.
