Cloak and dagger in Prague

First, the communist tyranny of Cuba forbids a party in which the Czechs would honor some of the most prominents dissidents in Cuba. The Czech embassy in Havana wanted to stage a celebration of the Czech national holiday in a luxury Havana hotel with Cuban dissidents participating.
The Cuban "authorities" however banned the celebration that eventually took place in the Czech charge d'affaires' residence out of the reach of kagasstro's goons.
Then, an anonymous killer has threatened Foreign Minister Cyril Svoboda and his family to shoot them dead unless Svoboda stops giving kagasstro a hard time, according to the Czech police spokesman. The minister was informed of an anonymous phone call and he immediately took the measures to protect his family. Is somebody really believing that these two events are not related?
Here is when I read and reread the messages of some readers about their reluctance to write comments in our blog. They fear the retaliation of the regime. They know that kagasstro is capable of sending his thugs after whoever he wants, in Cuba and abroad. They also know that a tyrant in his last leg is capable of everything.
The Czechs are taking this threat as a very serious terrorist menace, which is exactly what it is. They can tell that kagasstro is not very happy with their strong stance against his abuses, and they know what an old communist ogre is capable of doing, kind of been there, done that. They know everything about the system!
