VAMOS BIEN – Yeah MOTHERFUCKER, RIGHT INTO HELL!
We started calling at 7PM.
We began getting two types of signals. One a recording saying that there was no service to the country we were calling (“Oh shit”, we thought. “ATT cut the services”) and the other was a rapid busy signal.
My wife in tears dialed until 12AM when I finally had to give her a Valium so she could relax and go to sleep
After she was sleep I called ATT , and they told me that “The country you have called” message meant there was no incoming traffic into the country either because too much inbound traffic or just plain NOT enough service within the country. She also said the fast busy signal meant the call GOT through to Kuba but that the phone we were trying to call was either in fact busy or out of order.
This AM we got the email explaining the reasoning for this
Holguin is experiencing 10 hour black outs EVERY NIGHT of the week and on weekends up to 20 hours!
They only have electricity during the day (working hours of course) and at 6PM when people start heading home, the lights go out.
On weekends they have given up electricity altogether. If they get it for a few hours, either the radio station they listen to is not transmitting or the TV channel where they watch they favorite soap opera is dead. (These are of course signs that the situation is not any better in La Habana, where these shows are broadcasted.
So yesterday we had a combination of two of the recent Kuba’s tragedy.
The incoming lines were limited because the phone plants themselves in La Habana were functioning at limited capacity BECAUSE of black outs. ( I got THAT bit of info from an Email from La Habana)
If we were lucky enough to get into the country then the black out in Holguin gave us the busy signal.
This is NOT getting any better; in fact it is getting worse by the day.
The email says “ it was bad before Dennis , now it is just intolerable” and again NO ONE seems to be doing anything about it, since most of the qualified technicians seem to be readying themselves for some kind of ALTERCATION . The living conditions be damned, The Beast MUST stay in POWER.
If you think about this in military terms, this electricity problem can also be a clever ploy to impede an uprising in the middle of the night, or even to impede gatherings to PLAN for an uprising.
The phones issue also effectively cut off Kuba from the rest of the world and breaks the island into fragmented areas, where Holguin has no idea what is going on in La Habana. Very difficult to have a synchronized uprising if the East part of the island has no communication with the West or anything in between.
Whatever the reason. KaSStro’s Kuba is at the edge of the cliff and needs just a little push to go over.
We , need to do ANYTHING in our power to help out brothers and sisters give the SUMO HIJO DE PUTA THAT much needed push.

I've always thought a good part of cagastro's genius lay in how carefully and completely he makes day to day living so difficult. It's hard to plot a revolution when you're having to figure out how to cook a meal for your children.
It's the old war mantra of "divide and conquer". In this case, he is not conquering anything anylonger, and the mantra has degenerated into something like "divide so you can stay put another day".
In the meantime, kagasstro is squeezing the Cuban people bone dry, and by interrupting the flow of communications around the island he is just buying time by blocking all possibility of a coordinated uprising. He won't succeed at this.
While the blackouts may help slow down an uprising in some ways, it is also providing cover for many anticastro signs that are being painted all over the island every night! The more information that can get to the common Cuban the worse things will get for castro. I think these blogs serve a valuable purpose to that end.
For those in Cuba who may not read english:
FIDEL HIJODEPUTA MUERETE YA!!!!!!!!
The extreme situation will force Cubans to FIND a way, even if it is "Palomas mensajeras"
Like any other plan conceived under duress , this is one is fault of holes and I am positive the Cubans in the island WILL take advantage of some of this ( as Jose , said . it does give an excellent cover for local sabotage and signs of dissent) The bottom line is that it is just getting to be TOO FUCKING MUCH and he is making blatant tactical mistakes, so we sit we pray and we do as much as we can to bring this 46 year old hell to its final and unavoidable conclusion.
VIVA CUBA LIBRE!
Jose, we want him ALIVE ! we have issues to settle with this BEAST!
KC is right, grabbing castro alive would be best so he can't become a martyr, but rather, suffer through the well deserved humiliation he will surely face from freed Cubans. Recent reports are that in Santiago the nightly vandalism has progressed from painted "abajo fidel" signs to broken windows and other acts of sabotage.
Nuestro dia ya viene llegando!
I hope they bring him down and drag him through the streets and I really hope the sob's from Pastors for Piss, Hollywood, the media and all the bloody handed collaborators just happen to be visiting him that day and will at long last have a real fucking Cuban experience. Viva Cuba Libre!!
