Heroes

This is what Yoan Hermida has to say about his service for our country, straight from Iraq.

“The deaths here are very real, but there are so many other positive things going on as well. The way I look at it, being here is unpleasant and dangerous, but someone has to do it. Someone has to make these insurgents realize that they are wrong and we are right.”

Yoan, and the millions of men like him are why we live in freedom in this great country. There is more, well worth reading, plus a great link to an article by Thomas Sowell on the media and the public perception of the War. Please, drop by and show your support.

There is an EXTREMELY poignant observation at Yoan's blog, and that is "The Iraqi soldiers are in it for the $400 USD “
Bad FUCKING news for EVERYONE!
We learned about a bought military in Cuba under Batista. While the bucks where there and the going was easy, man those soldiers where SMASHING. They looked GREAT. Fucking great marchers too. The second they were supposed to go up a hill and shoot a couple of green olived fuckers , they go “Screw this.. Here’s my rifle I am going back to La Habana and sell insurance”
I read someplace that police, firemen and military personnel are purposely paid low wages so those who join are in it from the HEART! A little bit of money comes later, after they retire. But while serving, it is tough going.
If the Iraqi Army is in it just for the cash, that country will last as long as a fart in the middle of a hurricane once the USA leaves.
Too many USA kids have died for those fuckers and they don’t seem to have a bit of gratitude nor BALLS! So, it is right about now that someone at the Pentagon must start thinking about turning Iraq into a Nuclear Testing Zone. Nothing HUGE, but fry some of the muSLIMES into crispy treats for roaches. They DO survive a Nuclear winter, don’t they?

Give it a few weeks and we can do Iran and Gaza and Syria at the same time. Sorry, I forgot, letting them kill us is better than us dropping bombs and killing innocents. Gee, how I long for those good old days when the idea of bombing our enemies into a shit pile was considered a good thing.

Yoan is a great source for news from the Sandbox, which are denied to all of us by the liberal media that responds to an antiAmerican agenda. Yoan's comments are an absolute must read!
