Cuba: Should CARICOM be tougher on human rights?

I just got this monstrosity of Castrist hypocrisy sent to me by a friend.
Please read this link.

At the bottom of this piece of garbage is this prick's email address.

Below is my email to him. Please let HIM know your thoughts !

Mr. Sanders

It is with a great deal of disgust that I read you position on Cuba vis a vis Human Rights Violation.
Yours is the circular logic that has enslaved my people for 46 years.
Castro’s atrocities and human rights violations began MUCH earlier than any so called “embargo”.
The history of this “embargo” is not so old that people like you , (I assume well educated and with a full sense of historical facts ) do not know the reason behind this “embargo”
You point out no other country has suffered 45 years of USA pressure, you fail to mention that no other country had ever stolen assets belonging to American Companies and gotten away unscathed.
THAT is the reasoning for the so called “embargo”. Is this fact something you DO NOT know or just choose to ignore?
Now , based on THAT irrefutable fact the USA began a trade embargo until the stolen assets were reimbursed in full. Castro’s “deal” was 5 cents on the dollar. The USA refused this insulting proposal, and the trade embargo began.
It is inconceivable that any man who occupied your position would actually find an apology and an external force for Castro’s atrocities.
Did you witness the mass executions during the first months of 1959 ? Where you aware these were Human Right Violation while there STILL were relation with the USA and Cuba?
Are you aware these executions were televised so the Cuban people would have the full impact of the consequences of being a dissenting voice in Cuba ?

Now lets examine this “embargo” you apologists are so fond of quoting .
You must know that the 4th largest trading partner with Cuba is .. the USA.!
In Cuba you can find anything your heart desires, from Channell perfume to a bottle of Heineken beer as long as you are a tourist and have hard currency.
Now, please sir, reconcile THAT simple fact with an “embargo”.
Cuba is fully free to deal with any country it wants in the World but insists that the USA “embargo” is the cause of all its ills.
If this is the case why are those countries that DO trade with Cuba suffering from deficits caused by the Cuban government defaulting on its creditors?

Do your homework, sir, research the current Cuban foreign debt. Castro does NOT want a equilateral trade agreement with the USA , Castro wants CREDIT from the USA, while still NOT paying the multi billion dollar debt he undertook when he stole property that did not belong to him.

In typical Castrist NewSpeak they called this “nationalization” but.. the Bacardi company was a Cuban company , all cigar manufacturers were Cuban owned companies. Are you NOT aware of this or are you willingly hiding this fact to make the Castro travesty palatable to the rest of the world?.

Now we arrive at your circular logic.
Castro’s, repression is a meticulous exercise to control, manipulate and subjugate the Cuban people, but YOU give him an excuse, how dare you sir?

Why don’t you explain to us why the USA should be acquiescing to Castro’s whims in order that Human Right violations stop in Cuba?

Does this even make sense to you?

Why can it not be the other way around? Why can the cells in Cuba be opened, the tortures stop the harassment terminated free elections conducted and THEN return to normal relations with the USA?

Your logic is akin to blaming the World Trade Center Towers for the tragedy of 9/11/2001, for the mere reason they were in the path of those planes. Yours sir is utter and profound hypocrisy.

It is no surprise why the Cuban people have suffered 46 years of misery. I is because of people like you. People who at one point or another had the power, the wherewithal to intercede for the Cuban people, but chose to take the path of least resistance and fall trap to the Castrist lie.
Shame on you sir. A MILLION times SHAME ON YOU!

Excellent letter KC, thanks for challenging these castro apologists every time you get a chance. I am sure he will reply some bullshit like he did to Juan Paxety this morning. Our collective voices are making a difference and contributing to many gaining a better understanding of castro's atrocities against the Cuban people.
